Inucoli Those black ones are gorgeous! My friend has a black bari and it's probably the coolest thing I've ever seen I know! I would love to have one...but we only finished paying off my current sax a year or two ago...and my parents would want to know why I want another.

I play Alto, Tenor and Bari. I've tried to play Soprano but it was soooo hard to blow that I just went back to my bari. biggrin I have an alto now but I actually like the bari the best. When I was in high school I was in Matching, Jazz and Concert band. I played bari in all three, tenor in all three and alto in concert and jazz. I was section leader for the Low Wind section in marching band for the last two years. Low wind included woodwinds and low brass.
These are the saxophones that I would LOVE to own:

I'm a proud Tenor player. I was very surprised to see how many other female Tenors there were here in the Band Nerd Guild. That makes me so happy! Where I live I'm pretty much the only girl Tenor player cry it gets a little lonely. I switched over from Alto back in middle school when our BD decided we needed one. The rest of the section volunteered me and I've loved it ever since! I used to own two tenors (school rental and my father's old one) and an alto(which really was mine), but we sold the alto when I stopped playing it. Now I get to see it everyday, 'cause the new owner plays it at school. 4laugh
So now I have THREE tenors! xD You just can't have enough. I have the one I rented at school, I love it even though it's a piece of junk, my dad's old tenor (it's over 50 years old O.O), and my personal nice shiny one for concerts eek (when I say shiny I really mean it) I named it Sterling biggrin Yes I named my tenor, so what? My dad's Tenor is Theodore.

Terra of the Lilies Inucoli Those black ones are gorgeous! My friend has a black bari and it's probably the coolest thing I've ever seen I know! I would love to have one...but we only finished paying off my current sax a year or two ago...and my parents would want to know why I want another. I looked at your previous post. I play a variety of Tenors. Yamahas are pretty good but my personal favorite are the Jupiters. Their sound quality is amazing.

The old used ones are made from flimsy material and break easily i never cared for them much. The newer models arent so bad since they moved the Jupiter plant and started to use better materials.
