"Is anyone in here?" Colton called out as he entered the room with the other Aqua members. "Hey guys!" he yelled loudly as he looked around the room. Everyone looked angry, and he couldn't quite figure out why.

*I look confused*
Me: So, this wasn't a trap for Dark... it was just a transfer of the Orb?

Me: Well, this situation can't get much better. Kadabra, let's head back to base.
*Kadabra teleports me back to HQ*

Allen's eyes eased at the revelation of Dark's, if that was his name, true intentions. He kept his eyes on this 'Darke' throughout the entire conversation, till he cackled off into the distance. Then he turned to look at Dark, listening for instructions from anyone. Allen mulled over the information in his head. He would definitely end up keeping distance from Dark, at least until he made up his mind as to whether his supposed teammate was going to turn him in too the police.

"Mossdeep..." Colton sighed as he walked around the tents stamped with the Magma insignia. "I should probably not be seen in blue around here..." he thought to himself while looking for a place to hide.

Well that... Was an unexpected twist. But Ace supposed it made more sense than the twin or clone theory she had minutes ago. She stood in silent as she cast a glance at man-no traitor looking at the ground. With restraint to lash out at the traitor, she cast a glare at Darke and his Magma pack, or more importantly, the one grunt that smirked at her.

"You!"

She sneered in irritation as she made a dash at the grunt only for her path to be intercepted by another smaller magma grunt. Her eyes still locked within the other man's eyes before saying, "Move out of the way, twerp! This is between me and him."

The boy in front of her snort with arrogance. "Make me." He said, as he lets out a Poochyena. Ace huffed in annoyance and sends out her Growlithe. She doesn't have time for this.

"Amber, use Fire Fang!"

The orange pokemon's mouth becomes surrounded in red-orange flames and bites the poochyena. The magma runt scowled before commanding his pokemon to bite in retaliation.

"Flame Wheel!"

Amber began to jump into the air and releases a red-orange flame from its mouth while somersaulting, rolling directly into the poochyena and resulting into a K.O. The magma grunt recalls his defeated pokemon and switches to a numel. Meanwhile, Ace returns her growlithe and sends out her squirtle.

"Leon! Water Gun!"

Leon glances at his opponent before smirking as he squirts water at the numel. Unfortunately for the numel, the direct hit was super effective, resulting in a K.O. After recalling the pokemon again, he switched to a Phanpy.

"Water gun!"

The squirtle squirted water at the phanpy, dealing a lot of damage. Phanpy retaliates in tackling down at the growlithe before getting damage in recoil.

"Water Gun again!"

Leon squirts water at the elephant pokemon, resulting in another K.O. The magma grunt recalls his pokemon before running away. She smirked a bit, watching the shocked faces.

"Never thought you would become a criminal, Ar-i-el."

Her head quickly snapped to the sound of the voice, with eyes firmly narrowed at the grunt.

" Wiz." Her voice became devoid of emotion. She began to analyze him a bit. Unlike the other grunts, this man has a slightly different style than the others. She raised a brow at his attire as he shrugged nonchalantly.

"I like to be different."

Wiz then whips out a pokeball out of his belt, a charmander materializing out of the red light. He smirked arrogantly. "Think you can beat me?"

"Oh, I don't think I can. I know I can. Leon! Watergun!"

The turtle pokemon squirts water at his foe. Despite the damage the charmander took, it countered by biting the turtle.

"One more time! Water Gun!"

"The squirtle, though a bit exhausted from using the same move, continued to squirt a small gush of water at the charmander, resulting into a K.O. Wiz returned his pokemon before sending out a mankey out. Ace immediately switches out of her squirtle and uses zubat.

"Wing attack, Stella!"

The zubat dives into the mankey and hits it with one of the wings. As it was super effective, the mankey was knocked out by the blow. Wiz only recalled his pokemon before getting another pokeball. Ace smiled in triumph before realising how easy this is. It was very strange. Ace bit her lips as she saw a Chinchou coming out. "Think you will still win?" He taunted.

Ace regain her composure and recalled her zubat for growlithe. She will win this!

"Amber, Take down!"

The growlith charged at the Chinchou before taken hit be recoil. Chinchou's body becomes surrounded in light blue electricity and it releases multiple electrical blasts from it at Amber, paralyzing in the process. Ace grits her teeth and commands the growlithe to attack with takedown. However, the Chinchou takes this opportunity and take down Amber, fainting it as a result.

Ace scowls at Wiz before reluctantly switching to Zubat. "Stella, bite!" The bat pokemon swoop down and bit her opponent, but the chinchou, still standing, unleashed more multiple electric blasts at the zubat, resulting in a K.O. Ace quickly returns her pokemon and stares at her remaining pokemon. It had come down to this. She had to pray it ended in one move.

"Leon! Bite!"

Leon popped out of the pokeball, and began to bite chinchou, finishing off the blow. Yes, the battle was won. But her victory was interrupted by a slow applause from her rival. "I congratulate you on your victory. Of course, things would be different if I brought the rest of my pokemon. What will you do when I bring my full pack?"

The brunette grimaced at the words spoken before glancing at her pokemon; she didn't have any revives or any other pokemon aside from her main three. And the last attack was only chance. Still, she's not going to let his words eat her alive. "Same like before; kicking your butt." She retorted.

He snorted before leaving. He sang teasingly, "Then don't disappoint me Ace~ If you can't beat me, you can't even beat a gym leader~"

And within a few minutes, he was gone. Ace looked at her squirtle before looking at the rest of her pokemon. "You guys did well," she whispered before sending back her turtle friend back into the ball.

Hesitantly, Allen followed Dark's orders, chasing after the group of Magma Grunts. He let out his Frogadier again, tossing the Lucky Egg to him. "Alright, Dolstro, Surf." A Massive wave burst from the ground washing over a few grunts in the rear of the group. A couple of them hit the ground hard, knocking them out while a few more ran faster, one turned to oppose the Officer.

"Go Gliscor!" The Grunt called out her Pokemon.
"Ice Beam!" Dolstro fired the Ice attack, striking the Gliscor in the wing, knocking it out of the air and out.

"Go Nidoqueen!" The next foe came out and roared at Allen and Dolstro.
"Surf!!" Allen called to his Pokemon to summon the large wave again to crash over the enemy Nidoqueen. She was forced back quite harshly, but stood her ground.
"Thunderbolt!" The Ground type built and electric charge in her body and released it in a massive bolt, shocking Dolstro to fainting.

"Dolstro!" Allen called back his Pokemon, "Crap... Cecil!" He called out his Reuniclus, which took a blast of heat and rock to his body from the Nidoqueen's Earth Power. "Dolstro use Psychic!" Nidoqueen cried out in immense pain and fell to the ground after the faint blue glow around it's body died down. the grunt returned his Pokemon and pulled his next Pokeball, revealing a Krokorok. Allen nodded and withdrew his Pokemon. "Alright, let's finish this Ubella!"

The Krokorok stomped on the ground, sending massive sharp stones soaring toward the Larvesta. Luckily she was able to roll out of the way, "U-turn!" Allen called, readying her Pokeball for the return. She bounced off the enemy and turned into a ball of red light to return to her Pokeball. "Ecrelys!" Allen called the Kabuto back out, "Aqua Jet!" The little Kabuto covered himself in a thick membrane of water and shot out, crashing into the Krokorok, fainting it. Allen called back his Pokemon as the Grunt ran away. Allen turned back to the group and huffed, listening for any further directions.

With a nod to Dark's order, the group went off and caught up with the Magma grunts. They must've greatly underestimated if they thought Aqua was going to turn in one of their own. Or at least who they all thought was one of their own.

"They're back!" a grunt shouted. A second turned his head and paired up with the first grunt that shouted. "Let's take'em out!!" said the second grunt. Both grunts at the same time had taken out their pokeballs and tossed them into the air. One pokemon was a Charmander and the other was a playful Pansear. "This should be fun.." Ren smirked. "Let's go! Abalone, Relic!" His Wailmer and Relicanth emerged from their pokeballs and took stage in front of the Fire-types. Right off the bat, Ren had sent out commands of attack. "Abs, use Surf! Relic, Water Pulse!!" Summoning the waters of the sea, a massive wave emerged from no where as the wave washed over the small fire lizard and monkey. "You pathetic runts, get up!!" yelled one of the grunts. Barely hanging on to their lives, both Fire-types had stood and with the second attack initiated, a pulsating ring of water knocked them back at their trainer's feet unconscious.

"Is that all you got??" Ren taunted. "Oh don't worry we'll show you..." Said the first grunt. Recalling their pokemon, both grunts took out two more pokeballs and summoned their last set of pokemon. A black serpent with a bladed tail appeared before Ren next to tall rough looking black canine. "Seviper, use Poison Tail!" "Mightyena, Bite!" called both grunts from behind. "I don't think so, Abalone Defense Curl, Relic Harden!" The rounded whale went into a defensive stance as Relic hardened it's skin. The Mightyena would Bite into Relic only to find nothing but toothache as the canine tried to penetrate the rock solid exterior. The Seviper on the other hand slithered it's way around Abalone and attacked it from it's blind spot. Fortunately, not much damage was taken due to the defensive stance. "Return Abalone. Terminal, use Psychic! Relic, use Stone Edge!"

The Porygon unleashed a powerful telekinetic force at the poisonous snake knocking it back unconscious. With these pokemon, the grunt were surely at a type disadvantage. Summoning sharp rocks from thin air, Relic focused entirely at the target until it was ready. With the sharp edged rocks pointed at the Mightyena, Relic let out a strong force shooting them at the fierce canine that attempted to have him for lunch. However, the Mightyena had great agility and speed to dodge almost all of them, but not the ones that would scrap against it's skin causing bleeding. It took a lot out of Relic to use that move and had recoil damage as an out come. "Pity I have to do the work." snapped the second grunt. "Dark pulse, lets go!" "Abalone, cover Relic!" Rolling over to the ancient fish, Abalone took the hit for Relic using itself as a shield from the wave of darkness. "Aqua Tail, Relic!" Jumping from behind, Relic landed on it's tail as a wave of water emerged from the point at which it's tail fin met the ground washing back the Mightyena and knocking the canine into a state of unconsciousness.

"TSK!!! You Aqua runts are a mess to deal with.!" shouted to the first grunt. "Don't be made just because you got beaten by a mere child." With that remark, both grunts returned their pokemon and fled the scene. Ren stood idly by awaiting more orders from 'Dark' or to see if anyone else needed help.
