Wispy clouds began to slither across the sky, darkening the aqua light of the moon, and a chilly mist crept along the ground. It was a natural setting in the chilly tundra. Smashed, broken were the brilliant neon signs that had illuminated the buildings with a kaleidoscope of colors. Long gone were the colorful, diverse people that had filled the streets with boisterous camaraderie and endless craic. Wrecked were the facades of the hundreds of pubs, brothels, clubs, and bars of frivolous desire, only a few withstood the carnage of Zacariah's tyranny but all of them were in the underground district of the RLD. Taxes drove so high that it left many to pillage and ransack. The quaint streetlamps were twisted pretzels of metal, and no music spilled from open windows or doors. It was silent. Too silent. This new Nocturne was abysmally dark and dying and yet, still not dead. Anyone could feel the life in it, lurking in the dark wreckage, but it was the kind of life needed remedied with a stake through it.

Months ago, the CAZ was the height of urban sophistication consorted to industrial muscle, it would have drawn the upper crust of the city’s bored rich and jaded beautiful for the pleasure of seeking power, but, like the rest of Luimira, it had been brought to its knees.

At the door she stopped, her reflection in the shiny surface of the monolith temporarily distracting her. The blurred image had red hair and was wearing head-to-toe black. Her lipstick was red and glossy and matched her nails. She was wearing leather, not for the statement it made but for the practicality of it. With the right kind of leather, it was easier to sponge off just about anything. Fabric isn’t blood repellent. But here she is, walking in to cross the threshold and shouldering a nearby pillar, a position that gives her full sight of the door. Her pony tail wavered momentarily as she nods towards Lilith, it's a silent hello that brings her head to tilt slightly. Glancing at the others as she waited to see one in particular. Life’s an ocean, full of waves. All are dangerous; all can drown. Under the right circumstances, even the gentlest swell can turn tidal. Hopping waves is for the weekend enlisted. It was simple. Choose one, ride it out.

Like a shadow, it stalked me. Every moment of every day, I knew that I wasn't alone. I would never be; I am king. This nation is mine. Every shadow that lurks behind me knows it. My power is vast, unending and eternal. I yield to none, as my family has done so for generations. Yet, they wait. He waits. Like a shadow, he waits. His words, poison; his tongue, silver; his patience, thin. Thrice, he came to my doorstep. Rapped upon my door. I didn't answer. Thrice, his words hit the silence of the closed door.

"...my offer stands. It can be yours. Ours. Everything."

My words were cold, and perhaps foolish.

                                                                "No."

Months had passed since Zacariah had deposed Alistair, and sting never quite perished. With each day, he looked upon the hill where he resided. The Akasun Estate, the ancestral home of the Despotic Monarchy of Luimira. The seat of power, which had belonged to him for so many years... was out of his reach. Like a toy he had grown so accustomed to, now taken from him, forbidden to try and take it back. But with every toy, it had a single owner. Luimira was Alistair's, regardless of who thought they owned it or not. It wasn't long after his meeting with Lilith that the two exchanged messages. The woman was intriguing, to say the least.

(Blahhhhhhh insert 600+ words of fluff here about noticing people and s**t)

Now was the time for the movement; the push. It had not been all too long since Zachariah had assumed the throne of Nocturne, but far too long already had he sat upon it. Brydent had mixed ambitions here, and many conflicting feelings. He supposed his primary desire was to plant Alistair upon the throne, though he hadn't spoken to him in quite a while. His feelings had begun to change. He was no longer the same man as before, the loyal Fairhair shifting into a self-glorifying demon. Was Alistair deserving? Was he really so worthy? Did Nocturne live under a golden age under him? In truth, many ideas would point to the contrary, spoken by many lips. One common claim was that Alistair failed to try and slow the rise of Fraxon. Before his reign, they only owned South and North Fronta, now they owned Kevai, Aramil, Yuran and Kusana. Their leader held powerful claims and great ambition, and he was accelerated by the angels themselves, and yet Lumirian espionage had always been no small threat to be employed. There was then the knowledge - by Brydent - of the affair shared between the two Kings, when he could perceive the smell of Incubus all over Alistair.

Was that a slight? Or was it to protect Nocturne? Was it the wisest move a King had ever made, or the most foolish? Or was it neither . . . merely a move in passion, without regard for Kings and Kingdoms, as if to re-assume the mantle of a regular man?

He did not know. He needed to think upon each option while he remained, and for more than just the crown. Zachariah's power - where should it go? Cayenne, Catherine, Lukhan? He did not know . . . he had to decide . . . because in truth, Brydent was the one that had been engineering this for far longer than many had thought. And maybe it was because he was that crude, stoic loner that everyone had always been so ignorant of his actions; his movements. When did he ever vocalize what he wanted? When did he ever admit or deny his allegiances and his current actions? He said nothing, ever, he only waited, watched and obeyed. He wasn't the flashy dominatrix that Lilith was. She could continue to pretend that the Thorns of God bowed to her . . . when he had found them long ago, hidden in Jorsul, far away from the eyes of less deserving specters of Lumirian power. "I'm here," he said, keeping his thoughts quiet. Only the same stoic face would remain, and it would repeat only the same empty words.

How long had it been, since last the Pagan conspired to kill a king? Amias couldn't help but be helplessly adrift in his thoughts as he arrived. He had served loyally under many rulers, but few and far between were the ones he sought fit to betray. Even now...how much did they stand to lose under Zachariah's rule? The god-king was all that stopped West from advancing the armies of his empire. Without such a powerful figurehead in place--not to mention the extremely powerful demons he'd brought with him--who was to stop such a large-scale invasion from taking place? For sure...this group of individuals was taking the entire future of Nocturne into their hands with this godly conquest.

"I see you've all been doing well. I guess I can only hope we can put an end to this with no casualties...try your best to stay alive." Realistically, someone of his rank giving them that advice was a bit...odd. He was, in a military sense, the lowest ranking person there. He wasn't a captain like Brydent or Lilith, and the difference in power between the rest of them was too much for him to circumvent. However...this advice was relevant due to his age alone. There wasn't a single king in Nocturne's history that Amias hadn't at least seen. After his bit of relevant advice was given, the Pagan God of Nothingness turned to the woman responsible for summoning them all, someone he knew...well, she was an acquaintance with benefits.

Lilith Odam. In order for her to so boldly declare an attack on the god-king, it was obvious enough that she had some sort of incredible plan. More than a little curious as to what that was up to, Amias would then step quickly over to her. "Lilith...for you to have called all of us here, you must have something pretty damn amazing up your sleeves...care to share?" It was a rather easy question to answer, but depending on her faith in the group...one that she might not be so quick to answer. The possibility remained that some in the group were somehow still loyal to Zachariah, and word of this plan could easily still be taken to him. If that were to happen...this entire attempt could be foiled. Would she tell him what he wanted to know, or keep those pursed lips shut?

                                                            • Glory To Me
Pagans are very... noble. They have the air of a King or Queen about them; even a divine. This comes from this particular ability. 'Glory To Me' is a mental allure that they constantly release from their vessel, similar to an Incubi's seduction, but weaker. Rather than seducing people, this ability fools their mind. It can make them see things that aren't real. In fact, they can even feel these things. This ability is literally impossible to ignore or break out of, but it serves little benefit other than prestige. A Pagan will often use this power to make themselves appear divine; the sun will rise behind them, their clothing will flow and shine with the breeze, they'll just seem so... God-like. They can even change their appearance using this, although it's a temporary thing. This ability can have some uses in battle, though. For example, if a Pagan is to cast a shadow over themselves, it'd make them harder to see. If they make the sun shine behind them, they can make their enemy flinch away from the overbearing light. They can also fool enemies into thinking they've struck a shield or something like that, although that sort of manipulation over reality is something that only Pagans who focus on this type of power can do.

                                                            • Three Wishes
Up to three times per fight, the djinn may manipulate the force around an attack to redirect it for two ranks less in energy. This can only be done on skills of one rank higher than them. This is an extremely powerful passive of the djinn, an intelligent djinn capable of using it to largely make up for their vulnerability to ranged magic. It can also help to leave an enemy open in close-quarters combat.

                                                            • Mind Games
The djinn have a permanent 'force' around their skin that will reduce incoming damage by a rank (excluding holy and unholy magic). This puts them on the same level of base defensibility as a werewolf, although they can't regenerate, so...
At adept rank, this force can become amplified by the djinn's mind, psychomanually controlling the level of force in the layer of magic. They can apply energy to it to block all manner of attacks, meaning they don't really have to learn defensive abilities. It is really no more potent than any other defense of its rank, though.

One by one figures entered the Fort, some choosing to make grander entrances. The woman formerly known as Maria Kal was such an intriguing being. Once hailed as the Queen of Beasts and a thing of beauty what stood before the succubus came off as even more monstrous than she. It was with curiosity that Lilith looked upon her. A carapace covered parts of her body, legs of a spider protruding from it. Despite all the demons and strangelings that had crossed her path this one had the most interesting form. It was certainly not something to crave. That form would serve little purpose for the succubus. The entire time Kal Shar approached Lilith, with a face devoid of emotion but true feelings reverberating through her mind, the succubus was reading in on those thoughts. Some fallen son, pain and hatred filling the void. It made her smile. Extending an invitation to the party to the Queen of an opposing nation had been an extreme risk. That risk had been nearly tripled when Lilith had happily taken part in the destruction of half her property. Gleefully she decimated the lands and ravaged the people. Kal Shar surely despised her and every single person who was to assemble here. That notion made Lilith practically giddy. She bit her bottom lip and the smile transformed in to a naughty smirk. If Brydent had not been in this group than Kal Shar would be the one Lilith trusted least. It was a close race but the pretentious soldier boy took the cake. Though, that was not to say she trusted anyone here. The next arrival was Kumori Hell, a shade self-dubbed the Shadow Magistrate. He had been in and out of Nocturne for a few years now as far as Lilith had seen. The ghost frequented the district Lilith owned the majority of, which is how she knew him. Just like Lilith Kumori had wreaked havoc along the battlefield of Yuran, now a no-man's land. The moment she picked up on his distaste for Zacariah, Lilith started to watch him. It would mean an early death for her if the King heard word of people with her ambitions coming together and the fervor Kumori showed when mutilating a land he once sought to protect had her on the fence. Yet here he was, decked out in full battle gear ready to play with the big boys and girls. Hopefully the shade would not drag the group down. When the doors opened once more to let in the cool air the lady that walked through immediately caught the succubus' attention.

Full lips, leather clad, exotic look; it all made for some nice eye candy. A simple nod of the head was all that Red offered, of which Lilith replied with a wink. If they all were talented enough to still have their heads at the end of this she'd like to take that one for a ride. The cast and crew was filling up with more and more interesting people. Alistair Maric himself was true to his word and showed up next, looking ready to reclaim his throne. Lilith waved at him, still leaning against the table. He was another one who captured her attention. It was the raw power he had, the ability to tear a being limb from limb without breaking a sweat. That punishment was something she wanted to feel. The very thought had her sizing him up, wondering what he looked like naked and splattered with blood. Of course the one thing in the world that would upset such a lovely picture in her mind was probably the one person on this planet she disliked more than even tentacles. Brydent. Looking at him made her want to see him separated into little pieces. As much as she hated to admit the diabolos was powerful. Had she been given the choice Lilith would have swapped Aurelia in for that blight upon existence. At least that partial demon would make for more interesting company. Lilith crossed her arms over her chest and completely ignored Brydent announcing the obvious fact that he was here. Hopefully he'd get stabbed in the heart along the way. Enter the Pagan and the smile was back on her face. They had shared a fairly macabre time together, which ended in sexcapades. It was nice. Strangely Amias, generally a more reserved person when it came to sharing opinions, was the only one to speak out of those assembled. Lilith waited a beat to see if anyone else wanted to throw in something before beginning. "Yes, Amias. I actually do have a plan. Someone released beasts in to the world. Their sole purpose is to devour gods. I have seen these creatures and they are beautiful. All they are waiting for is to be set on Zacariah. We'll let them attack him and distract him, with the help of a few of us.." Lilith paused for a moment and twisted her hand in the air, a flash of energy later and the image of a location full of haunting orbs. They swirled in a well so deep it was hard to tell the exact distance. "This well is full of the souls that were released from Hell's gate when the other side of the world saw fit to end Kaminae. These empower Zacariah: they make him stronger than us combined. I know where the well is. It has to be destroyed while the beasts are attacking. When his strength flees his body he can be destroyed." Lilith was careful not to reveal the location of the thorns and the repository as well. She looked around to the people assembled, each in turn. At this point in this gathering there was no backing out. Anyone with knowledge of this plan who tried to flee would surely be detained and destroyed by everyone assembled. Each had a stake in this, be it glory, power, or riches. The risks were incredibly high, so should any one decide to betray the rest it would get ugly.

        Passives

            • Extremely seductive. Like Incubi, you possess the ability to instantly seduce others as long as they're two ranks below you. It's said that this becomes possible only due to their astounding beauty, but that is only a supplement. The Succubi are indeed far more beautiful than all other races, but their seduction lies in the magical energy they are born with. This energy flows around them and into the air like cells into a vein, bewitching any they seek.

            • Lilith has developed the ability to detect the emotional state of the people near her and manipulate her succubus aura to merely make people around her feel very wanting of the more pleasurable acts. They become lascivious ratchet hoes, making it easier for Lilith to seduce people. This makes it so people one rank under Lillith are instantly seduced. If the opponent thinks they will be harmed the aura is broken. If Lilith tries to kill the target they are snapped out of it as well.

            • Arcane Arts: Her magic spells are quite devastating should one hit you. (+1 rank to magic)

            • Ability to manifest certain aspects of the demon at will. They can extend wings, sharp fingernails, as well as horns when they please.

            • Detect Magic
The user can detect magic. This means when others cast spells, or emanate high amounts of energy, you can see their aura. This also means you can detect magic in an area, meaning if an area has something magical about it, you can feel it. At higher ranks, you can determine the source in an area.

            • Vibration Sensory
A useful skill, the user channels energy into their feet to sense vibrations on the ground. As long as their feet is on the ground, a user can sense where an enemy is if they are earth bound within 50ft for five posts. This skill becomes passive once the user is Adept Rank.

When Kumori walked into the room, Maria turned to see him but did not acknowledge him. As far as she was concerned, he was still the same feeble minded, weak willed sycophant he had always been. He posed no threat to her, nor did his presence, in her opinion, mean anything would be easier. Had he ever even used his weapon? To her knowledge no. She heard he took part in the war against Yuran, but that simply made him even more weak in her mind. He had once sought to sit upon the throne in Pronta city, but when he proved to low a lifeform to do so, he joined a parade of far stronger beings in their raging war against it. Not many things were lower than Kumori, in short. He was lower on the totem pole than the worms in the dirt, and with any luck he'd be dead by the end of this so she wouldn't have to go through the effort to kill him herself later on. As this thought crossed her mind, she narrowed her eyes and looked off to the side as her head turned back forward. Perhaps his survival WOULDN'T be so bad. Perhaps his weak willed and sycophantic nature could be turned into an advantage for Maria.

Either way Red entered the room, and garnered very little attention from the former mertaur. She was not antagonistic to her from any sort of ill will. No it was just the woman's new nature to not be trusting or friendly to those not a part of her "family". God only knew she was nurtured to be that way, ever since wrath had inserted himself within her heart. She knew little of Brydent. He was an outlier, and juding by his stature and body language, he was one of those quiet until time to say something pretentious types. Hopefully she wouldn't have to use his skull as a hood ornament on her car for lack of controlling his tongue later. Amias... now that was a strange individual. He had appeared in her home by the beach once, and he had been quite perplexing. There one second, then gone. And then there was the former king Alistair, perhaps the only one she knew was on her level of power certainly. She puffed a bit of skeptical air from her nostrils just before Lilith spoke and conjured her image. "So... your plan is to have some of us fight Zachariah, and the others will destroy some well of spirits to weaken him while Daniel's little monsters attack him?" she would sum up. It was beyond clear that Zachariah was stronger than all of them combined. That was what Daniel had created the Thorns for in the first place. Lilith had no way of knowing that, however, as Maria simply assumed that she, with most of those in this country of degenerate filth, was not a Vangelist or Justo-Arianist. "The person who released the creatures, the Thorns as he called them, into the world was none other than Daniel. He crafted them with the help of both Solonor and Justor, along with Niraliel. You think they and us combined won't be enough to destroy one God?" A skull seemed to materialize in a cold haze. To anyone with keen eyes, this would be the skull of the deceased King Devrin, and through his open mouth as if impaled through his skull, was the tip of her piece of Belfast. She grasped it, looking into it's hollow eyes as if to accentuate her point. "You think quite little of the people you contacted, but I will go to Zachariah" Maria said running her claws over Devrin's skull, resting the tips upon the freezing tip of what used to be Malestrom. Her eyes rested upon the sight of the well. Though she questioned the strength it could have given her, a cold chill ran up her spine as she looked into it. Not of fear, but of a feeling of well deserved foreboding.

As fascinated as everyone seemed with each other, Alistair disregarded the presence of many in the building. The man didn't care for their presence as long as they could do the simple tasks assigned to them. Many of them were on varying power levels, that much was clear. The power gap between Zachariah and the group was vast. Not many in this group could personally attest to Zachariah's power like Alistair could. The former king had felt Zachariah's power, tasted it as his blood seeped from his own lips; when his body couldn't even keep up with the brutal beating Zachariah dished out. The people here... some were important influential power heads. But titles weren't going to help them out with Zachariah. It was no secret that death loomed around them at every corner, but it was clear who it was stalking. His attention did turn to one, however. Like a whisper in the room, Lilith's gaze called his attention. One might call her glaring unsettling, and yet... Alistair cared very little. It was no secret that the two of them encountered each other every publicly, not that anything happened. Yet. Every gaze he stole sent mixed signals. Expressions of angry lust often crossed his face, seeking to put an end to her mind games.

Perhaps with these... Thorns of God they could escape this with minimal damage, though Alistair wasn't worried. It'd been so long ago when Zachariah came to him, he wasn't the same distraught, absent-minded man he was before. Facing Lilith, the man finally broke his silence. "I do not trust these beasts. It seems too good to be true. A pack of god killing dogs? Tch. I need to be there." He spoke the truth. If these Thorns were of any real use, why didn't Daniel set them loose before? Daniel was no friend of Zachariah's, and the only thing he'd have to gain from helping followers of Vaet Nocturnum was that a less powerful figure head would sit upon the Lumirian Throne. Brydent once spoke of these beasts, shortly before he decided to up and leave. These Thorns provided no security for the man. Instead, Alistair would rely only on the combatants beside him.

Reluctantly, and with a heavy expression, he looked upon the strangers, and acquaintances before him. "Who will come with me to combat Zachariah?" His gaze immediately turned to Red, her presence at his side certainly provided comfort, despite the danger he was putting her in, yet he knew she would probably volunteer for it anyway. With Hell's Grasp, he was confident she could handle herself. There were many mages in the room... perhaps too many. Alistair wasn't sure it'd be a good thing or a bad thing to have so many ranged fighters in one setting. "Of course many will have to seek out the well of souls. Make no mistake, it'd only be just as dangerous as fighting the God-King." In his own way, Alistair beckoned for the ones not confident enough to take on Zachariah to go after the well.

Considering they were discussing battle strategy, Brydent decided to be informative. This was potentially the most chatty he'd ever be with a large group of people. He didn't really care, though. Everyone around was not trustworthy. He barely trusted any of them; Alistair was the only exception. Still, they were putting their lives on the line, and so was Brydent. For this to succeed, they needed to all understand everything and its implications. So he would start from the beginning and work his way towards the end. "Everyone listen up. This is your briefing."

"In the deep confines of Jorsul, the eastern duchy of Nocturne, I was sent on a mission to kill vagabond beasts traveling from Val'Ghast. There, I witnessed something benign instead; the monsters I would have killed were having their genetic data spliced by a being of horrendous power. I believe he knew I was present. I believe he wanted me to see what was to be unleashed. He had created and augmented new forms of life, then. They were only what I would consider puppies at that moment, but now they rise as some of the largest and most powerful monsters in our world. We have been given the opportunity to utilize them . . . we must only lead them to our desired prey." The Thorns of God were not possible to fully tame. They bowed only to their creator - one Brydent suspected of being an angel. He was indeed one, Daniel, the creator of monsters and of the geography and climate of this world of theirs. The storyteller of Axiom, painting on a beautiful earthen canvas.

But no one knew this save for those who had been given his mark. Brydent didn't know this. He only knew that he smelled similar to that of Emperor West, who metaphorically laid with angels for all of his waking hours. Thus, it could be determined that he was an angel, though the type was a complete enigma.

"Operating a Thorn of God works like operating a hunting dog. You give them a scent or something to work with and they will pursue it viciously. The only clause is that their senses only perceive Godly things. As such, Lilith and I have managed to procure something for them to work with during our inquiries with other demon Gods." He paused for a moment and looked to the Succubus. They didn't get along well on their mission, but they were efficient. Brydent and Lilith were both Captains and rivals for a reason; they were damn good at what they did, Lilith with her information and intelligence networking and Brydent with his strong noble and demonic connections. They both worked well together, fitting into a perfect little Lumirian puzzle. "We went to the top of Mt. Miras, one of the higher peaks in Nocturne, and there we found Cayenne blessing followers who had sacrificed important people to her. Mothers and fathers killing their children, brothers killing brothers, so on and so forth. Cayenne would then only speak to us if we sacrificed someone important to us as well. I sacrificed Kai-Thos, my Mer consort and lover. Lilith sacrificed Marcos, a prominent agent and a very successful investment of hers. In exchange, Cayenne offered us this knowledge: that Catherine, Goddess of the Undead, would know where Zachariah's souls lie." And so they went.

Of course, Catherine was somewhere she very well should have been: Yuran. She had been stealing lost souls from battles and genocides, so many millions, growing in power and consuming like a ravenous beast. While other demons had gone downhill since Hell's Gate opened, Catherine had gotten to a position where she could very well have surpassed all of the other Gods of her caliber and risen to the second tier. She was fearsome. "In exchange for a promise of thirty percent of Zachariah's souls, Catherine revealed to us the location of his well, and she also handed us something insurmountably important: Zachariah's grace, his anchor, his connection to heaven. When Kala ripped him from the skies and brought him to hell, no one ever considered his grace to be of import - all it defined was his former race; it had no apparent value. Catherine saw the value and she kept it with her. This will be what we give the Thorns in order to get them to pursue Zachariah." Of course, they would have to retrieve the Thorns first, beasts who were very well hidden. Their energy trace had been abolished and Zachariah made completely unaware.

Finally, the location of the repository. He would reveal it to them as well, and then of course everyone would have to determine their course of action. "The repository is far from where we expected it to be. It is . . . in Val'Ghast. The monarchy of Val'Ghast, Herod and the Techno Queen Kamilla, are Vaet Nocturnum. They have always been, and they have been given the privilege of guarding this well and as a result have been empowered by it. The catch is that if it is destroyed or damaged severely, they will die. As such, they will surely fight for their lives if the repository is threatened by outside invaders. This adventure into Val'Ghast may even be as dangerous as fighting Zachariah himself." That was the briefing. That was what the general group needed to know. Now, between he and Lilith, the decision had already been made as to where the other 70% of power would be directed: Lukhan. By the end of this, Zachariah would be lost, but it was likely that two new tier two Gods would arise . . . Catherine of the Undead, Lukhan of life's desire.

What a world to live in for all those who opposed Nocturne.

Kumori mainly stood there, listening and absorbing in the information as his darkness slowly drove down into his body to keep himself focused. He was already quick to notice and void the information of the skull she had with him and rolled his eyes. Indeed, he sought to protect all of Yuran prior to the joining of Nocturne and the other nations. He did not enjoy serving underneath someone who was already once his enemy, so it would of course cause him to become an enemy fairly easily. As he just listened in, he already heard that Alistair was wanting to see the Thorns at work but when he learned the location from Brydent, his eyes narrowed then. But it was slowly becoming set with Lilith's plan as Kumori nodded a few times before he looked over to Lilith. "I'll be heading to Val'Ghast then, anyone else aiming for the well itself?" Kumori called out to everyone else, so they could decide where to go.

      Energy 2000/2000

      Equipment
      Passives

          • Utilize Broken Strength
This is automatically activated upon the user achieving a broken arm. The energy and muscle stimulating shocks sent to the broken arm are transfered from the arm to the rest of the user, most of it going to the other arm. This allows the broken limb to be numbed to pain but can be restored at an easier pace. This helps the broken being to weild heavy weaponry with only a single arm like a weapons master, except they do not have access to any of the Weapon Master's skills.

          • Shadow Form
Most, if not all, physical attacks simply phase through the user. This can be a good and a bad thing. If all the opponent has all weapon and hand to hand styles, then the techniques that do not have energy coated on the weapons will simply go right through the user, making all other attacks useless. This is also bad because if the Shade attempts to attack, once can aim a physical attack at him, forcing him to turn himself into his shadowy form. By disrupting him, all of the skills he used are turned into smoke. The user may also chose to go into his incorporeal form once every three posts, at which point he can't attack.

          • Shadow Regeneration
The Shades are known to be living and breathing elementals of darkness. Because of that, they are capable of recovering at a slow rate while residing in dark areas or in an ally's shadow. The body is constantly healing for as long as they are within darkness and having their weapons put away. The rate of healing increases with the duration they remain in the darkness. During the regeneration process, the user cannot use offensive Bloodline or Elemental skills. If they are attacked, they have to restart recovery at the slowest rate.
1 post: Small cuts & bruises are healed.
2 Posts: Gashes are turned into small cuts.
3 Posts: Broken limbs can recover within three constant posts inside of darkness.
4 Posts: Internal injuries or burns from light/flame/holy techniques can be recovered.
5 posts: An entire missing body part can be restored at a slow, and painful rate(Excluding the head or torso and it takes 5 full posts waiting in darkness to recover.).

          • Shadowy Trail
A Shade does not cast a shadow, but can choose to merge with the shadow of an ally, similar to a ninja. In doing so, the Shade can act as a hidden bodyguard, emerging from the allies shadow at will. The Shade can't be detected other than by holy creatures such as Nephilims, or Paladins and Clerics.

          • Shadow MQC
You can now bend the shadows around you to reach your opponent that would be two spears away from you as you can attack them normally while retaining regular damage. The Shade can perform D-ranked damage when at their full strength while in this fighting style, but this is the only range modifyer this style has. This does not spread to other styles, nor weapons can benefit from learning this ability as this is to be the shade's main Fighting style.

          • Vibration Sensory
A useful skill, the user channels energy into their feet to sense vibrations on the ground. As long as their feet is on the ground, a user can sense where an enemy is if they are earth bound within 50ft for five posts. This skill becomes passive once the user is Adept Rank.

          • Miza's backshield
So long as Kumori keeps Miza sheathed on his back, he is able to resist more damage to his back. But the downside is that she can only resist up to D-rank attacks, C ranks causes a rank down in damage and B and higher cause full damage.

          • Trusted Wielder
This Skill requires you to beat the Spirit inside of the Sword. Miza the Terror can only acknowledge those who can defeat her in combat besides Kumori Hell. Those who can hold her after the defeat of the Sword's spirit, can become one with the sword, gaining the knowledge to use her full potential of the Weapon Style: Miza the Terror. Be wary of the weapon style itself as it can kill the user if they misuse the Style's own techniques, the spirit would even warn them to be careful.

          • Miza The Terror Weapon Style
Miza has her own Weapon Style.

          • Phantom Plane Origins
The user's clothing emits a powerful substance of destruction, known as a Black Shuck Virus. The virus comes out to a maximum of 5 feet in battle, but only 2 feet out of fighting. Staying within the reach of the virus, the foe's own shadow vanishes if they are in the virus's range for 4 posts. Kumori's own shadow skill techniques will gain an increase of one rank for the shadows absorbed into his body(maximum shadows needed: 2) and can only last for 5 posts. As well as performing this, the user no longer suffers energy penalties caused from his class.

          • Demonic Prowess
The blood of the innocent courses through Kumori's non-existant veins, powering his body through death itself. As such, his max energy pool has been increased by 700 while every single one of Kumori's Earth Elemental attacks are now boosted with a natural life draining energy. Any earth that Kumori has influenced with his energy, becomes inhabitable by plantations, but unaffects other mortal creatures. Kumori's weapons and armor can effect skill barriers, normal/skill shields, and Armor.

Of course there isn't much room for casual conversation as one by one they filter in, waiting to see who would make the first move. They all wrote their awareness as they tilled and killed, each a different shade of dangerous in their own rights. At some point in time they each heard of the other, that's how the rumormill worked. One speaks up, questioning the gathering - questions she, too, shared but knew partial inklings.

A million years of human mystery, of myth and history, she has left behind on her travails. Unhindering her story of it, shedding reality in her return to dust. Now here, as she stands before storytellers, great weavers and known entertainers, she feel herself discarding the last of a past life. It seems quite.. natural and necessary to abandon all the riches of her hoarded hopes, enter there with nothing but her name as comfort. Perhaps it’s only on the realization of that readiness that true wanderers in the other worldly find themselves before these very times. Perhaps not. She straightens at the mention of joining the fight. It is no longer a matter of who or why but a simple when. "Aye, of course." she adds as her hands slide into the confines of her leather jacket.

Just like the tides that separate this land and the next, the conversation spills into a place she knew well. Far from the frozen north, she delves in memories her own home. Not so long ago and away it seems now, in that mundane world where spiraled history arose like an iron staircase up through a strata of dusty tomes of time, of layered learning upon yearning, stocked and shelved, back there in reality; she had been remade and created anew. This did not sit well with her as she remained loyal to her ties and title.

As the entrusted unfolds his story further she wonders why she had bothered to return here in the first place, it would have been logical to await their travel to Val'Ghast but hey, maybe order could emerge from the chaos? The trip to the location could be easy, in fact, in an opening of a dimensional door and she could appear there but Red looks to Alistair. She says nothing. Reveals nothing, learning from the best. She meets and hold a gaze, expressionless. They already had the plan, it would be left to the others to go.

"The monarchs are traceable." Her eyes darken to inky pools that are suddenly neon cobalt, swerving to the group. Beyond long, thick lashes, pupils dilate and shrink, dilate again as if she’s taking their measure with vision humans don’t possess. Anyone with the basis of detecting magic could find a trail, they only needed to follow the signs.

So that was it. A combination of two different countermeasures to bring Zachariah's state of existence down to something they were capable of killing. An interesting proposal, to be sure. However...the division of the groups was something that immediately got the gears turning in the Pagan's brain. To split the group in two when the potential for combat against the god-king was a very likely possibility...that was a dangerous game. If he were to find out about their plans, it would be possible for him to intercept the thorns before the well drained his power, and even if that battle were to prove difficult for him...he still wouldn't be at a level they were capable of killing. Because of that, at least one trustworthy person would need to be at both locations to ensure that dissenters received the swift death penalty they deserved.

But that still left one very important question unanswered; who would be going where? Everyone here knew that going to the well wasn't as desirable as leading the thorns to Zachariah; bringing this small-scale war right to the god-king's front door. Amias could see it in their eyes; that burning desire, hearts that yearned for glory. Every single one of them wanted to be the person to put that final blade through Zachariah. In the face of these young peoples' drive, the old man couldn't help but grin. His youthful body laid excellent cover over an aged, wise soul. And just from that single glance into their eyes, he knew what he had to do.

"I will go to the well. Rusty old men like me aren't fit to serve on the front lines. I'll leave that to all you strong, young people this time." That cheeky grin still played on his face as Amias threw a single glance at Kumori, the other man who'd declared that he was going to the well. He seemed...interesting, at least. If memory served him, it was one of the other men who participated in their previous attack on the Wurm encampment in Val'ghast. Amias didn't remember any particularly great contributions on his end, but he would also be sure to keep a close eye on the boy to make sure nothing fatal occurred. "I'm ready to leave whenever my partners are. Just say the word." And with that, Amias would simply leave with the rest of the group.

                                                        • The Game
This can only be applied to someone the Incubus has met before. Since Incubi appear simply as men, it's impossible to tell them apart from others. The moment you interact with them, they can register your desires. They'll remember you, and discover the aches and wants of your body. They'll know what sort of kinks you're into, and what type of person you like. They can use this to seduce you in person, or they can use it to manifest in your dreams. They'll send a little fraction of themselves to wherever you lay your head at night, and corrupt your body with their touch. When a victim is stronger and more able to resist them, they'll stick to beautiful and elated imagery to keep you hooked on your fantasy world. Timid and fearful victims will often be tormented with their desires, controlled by them rather than gifted them.

When a victim is truly infatuated with their fantasies, or crippled into submission by them, the Incubus has the power to manifest their spirit completely. They will then loom over them, and please their bodies however they want. This is most often used simply for the personal satisfaction of an Incubus, but can also be used for assassination purposes; ie, if the Incubus has reason to kill the target he's seduced, he will. The Incubi cannot use this ability to teleport to people while in combat, or to teleport to people who are in combat. The opponent will not suddenly be alarmed by the Incubi, but worked into it. They'll know they're coming, and will eagerly await them.

It was painfully clear that the insectoid woman really thought her little spawnlings would be enough to take on Zacariah, a ******** god. Maybe she had not actually encountered one of those ascended beings in their full power. It had only ever been stories and an internal feeling that first introduced the succubus' favorite god to her attention. From there Lilith dedicated her entire existence to exemplifying the ideals that the first desire demon upheld: Pain and Pleasure. Much of her early life had been spent on pain. Using her sickening charm and innocence she played wicked mind games on the people around her until it drove them insane. She tore mothers and fathers from their children, caused many to give their life up for no apparent reason. When she had come of age the game changed. Lilith explored what felt like every ******** aspect of ******** there was to explore, until she mastered them all. Now she was in a wonderful unison of the two. It was only after both aspects of her god existed within her that Lukhan let himself be known. He came in the most terrible and yet the most wonderful dream she had ever had. After that night it was impossible for him to leave her mind. So she hunted him down. Even at the lower tier that the demon sat upon he was vastly stronger than any individual here. Zacariah was easily double that strength, and his domain was directly related to lopping heads off in various and stylish ways. Regardless of what Lilith said the queen of crawlers would be an important asset in this upcoming battle. Dark eyes alit upon the former king, watching him closely. There encounter at the square had been heated. A subtle power play dancing between the two of them, not a word spoken on it. Through body language they communicated a want to ravage each other. Even now merely watching him say aloud how prepared he was to take on the God-King made her shift her legs around to try and hold back that burning desire. It seemed that everyone doubted the power that the beasts had, though Lilith would have some faith in her lord. He told her they were tools, a means to an end. They would not herald the second falling of Zacariah but provide some of the power needed to take him down. That was where the rest of the people came in. Lilith waited impatiently as Brydent gave a long winded speech of their most recent excursion. It had actually bee pleasant, though certainly not due to his company. Lilith would swear that being trapped in a room with a literal corpse would have been more entertaining. What brought a smile to her face was having one of her most favored employees tag along. Marcos was an incubus, one who had come to believe his female counterpart had a shred of decency somewhere inside of her. The sheer look of anguish in his eyes when he realized that it was he who would be the sacrifice to Cayenne. Lilith stared down at the lesser version of her kind with eyes full of laughter. The dagger she had plunged in to his heart ended it all too soon, she would have much enjoyed the chance to prolong his pain and let his screams ring out in to the night. With that over and said everyone chose where to go. Kumori and Amias quickly chose the well. Alistair and Red were like an annoyingly inseparable pair of buddies, so Lilith assumed the two would stay near each other. That left three undecided. Maria had yet to declare where she'd be tagging along to, and Brydent had not as well. While she much preferred putting the diabolos directly in the line of fire they both had a stake in the repository of souls. Lilith had to be there to be sure that Lukhan received his portion of the power. She certainly did not trust Brydent to stay true to his word. "Kumori, Brydent, and Amias chose the well. Alistair, Kal Shar, and Red will go to Zacariah. I will be heading to Val'Ghast as well. Now that its all settled..." Lilith would walk to the group who would fight the horde and the god and tell them where to find the Thorns, as well as Zacariah's grace. She turned to her group and motioned for them to move. Their missions had to be done simultaneously. With the well powering Zacariah they would be unable to even hurt him. If the god was not distracted he would know that the repository was being tampered with and would immediately seek to defend it. The two parties would have to rely on each other, or die. Silently, the succubus put her faith in raw power and strategic warfare.

Kumori nodded as the teams were set, with him popping his neck as he was ready to get going. He had been set with Amias, Lilith, and Brydent, they were the team for destroying the well, so he decided to wait by the group till they left.
