Riddian put down her sketchbook. "I don't know if I know how, but, ok." The doctors had told her that if she'd done something, her muscles would remember even if her mind didn't. It was called muscle memory and she'd experienced several times when playing cat's cradle.

Riddian gave him a small smile and took his hand. "You're right. I'm Riddian by the way." She frowned slightly as a wave of deja vu hit her. With a slight twitch she shook it off.

It didn't take long for Dark to realize his mistake. Rose was not a fault for any of it, and even if it was true that he's been distracted ever since the second WAS attack he shouldn't have let his temper get a hold of him. Even less with Rose. She had been one of the ones he had first met, and she was always kind. The more she spoke, the more regret he felt even when she had no counter in her voice. By instinct he knew that she felt offended, and he wouldn't blame her. And even yet, she warned him of some peril. The only thing he could do before she left was give a quiet nod.

"....." I loathe emotions.. He thought, mainly to himself. Whether she heard or not he wasn't sure, but he definitely didn't want to speak that out loud. A twist of guilt burdened at his chest, and there was little that he could do about it. At least he wore his mask again, so his face didn't reflect how he felt as much.

"Aideen, was it?" He repeated, his tone returning to its usual calm with an added mix of depression. The WAS was still priority in his mind, but now that Isaac and Rose left he felt rather uncomfortable.

"Da--" He paused, shaking the thoughts out of his head for the moment and looking to Fate for a moment. He had given her a false name and it would only look bad on him if he gave another. So he turned back to Aideen and provided an answer, "Notare. Notare Alname." The girl didn't seem much older than Isaac, but he shouldn't be fooled. "You say that you're an IS? Rather recent one, I assume. I.." He paused, and continued to stare at Aideen.

And I heard someone 'think' it actually. Tread carefully, Dark.

I wish she was here.. Dark was not very shy among strangers, but given the occasion and his situation he couldn't help but feel awkward. His eyes scanned the girl behind her mask, as if trying to find something in her eyes. But with his thoughts jumbled he couldn't even keep a straight face. Instead, he lifted a hand and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I've a headache. If you'll two excuse me.."

It's been happening too much lately. This wasn't his affair so why was he over-doing it? For who? WillBe? He shook his head, and discarded his mask and turned to Fate. "It's been nice seeing you, but I'll make my departure. Take care.." He turned, then paused to look at Fate once again, "And those markings actually look good on your face." He added, giving Aideen once last glance.

"Listen, if you're an IS I suppose it's best to inform you. I don't know how he looks like exactly, but I know his name is Malice. He's a medium-sized man..no, an elf if I'm not mistaken with long-black hair, and that's all I'm able to give you. I believe he's a WAS. That was the real reason I came to the Ball, to investigate. There's also one more; her name is Lexus. She has whiteish/blueish hair, I can't remember. Long as well, but she's blind so she might have awkward movements. She's a WAS, too. So..just..keep your eye out. I'm lead to believe that some are here.." He glanced away, then turned away. "..I'm going to town. It's so much quieter. I'll see the two of you later." With that said, he left them and headed into the empty streets of WillBe.

Shin nodded to her he snapped his fingers as a being made of shadows faded in out of nowhere holding a cup of blood.Shin took the cup and the shadow poofed away just as he grabed it.He tooka drink from the cup and turned to her."Yes well i am glad that you do you are the first person to not run away after knowing what i am or seeing my eyes" he said.Shin still had his eyes closed he would be looking around right now but instead he tapped his glass making a small ringing sound.Using the sound he could see everyone there one person seemed to stand out and that was Clay only because of his size over the humans.Shin gave a luahg then slmied "I did not know he was here well thats nice.So Nila what shall we do now my dear the night is young and we still have much to do?" he asked as he finished his cup and the glass faded away.

"Well that explains how you're doing this so well, and you thought you wouldn't know how." Zero chuckled as they continued to dance, it was quite a sight being surrounded by so many older people and being on par, if not better than them.

"I just have that kind of effect on people sometimes." Zero had a bad sense of foreboding but ignored it for now. An event like this had already been foreshadowed by his vampire dad. The new generation always follows the ways of the older ones, your life might even play out like mine... He knew his father had done these exact same things before, except he was older than Zero was now.

Fate became bored with the ball. She was dazing. Falling in and out of awareness. Suddenly she heard beautiful singing. She followed the voice until she was behind a tree in the garden. There was a lovely looking woman sitting on the bench. She waited for this woman to finish her song before making herself known. She steps out from the trees "you have most wonderful gift miss." fate murmurs. "it reminds me of a song my mother use to sing to me...." fates eyes glass over and she gives a little smile
