MISSION- Having a Ball!
A band of thieves has stolen a rare pokeball. Your mission is to break in and steal back the pokeball.

~~~Mission: START!~~~
"Heh. BL sure has a cruel streak." SureSh0t looked up over the stack of crates he was hiding behind to make sure no one was coming down the alley. It was night, but he still didn't want to be seen. "Making me do a mission the second I return to Aqua. Still..." he added, pulling out his TADS, "...I love this job!" He pressed a few buttons on the device and his mission parameters popped up. "Retrieve the Pokeball, eh?" SS looked up. The warehouse he was at was about 7 meters tall, with windows about 5 meters up. A stack of crates was next to him, and went up to just under the level of the window. "Right, let's go." He looked around, seeing a solitary Sandshrew running down the other end, and stood.
He stretched his wings out. Once they were only a part of him when he had his Cruxis Crystal engaged. Now, through intense training, they were his permanently. He gently flapped up to the top of the stack, and furled them in again. Focusing, he withdrew them into his body, giving off the appearance of a normal human. He was anything but.
"Lessee... if I break the glass it'll be too loud." He put a hand to his belt. "Cyndaquil! C'mere a minute!" His little companion escaped from his Pokeball in a flash of light.
"Cynda!" It squealed with delight and scurried up SS to rest on his shoulder. SS smiled.
"I need you to flare up, but be quiet." SS indicated the glass. "I need a hole through this."
Cyndaquil nodded. "Cyn.. da!!!" The flames erupted from the four holes on Cyndaquil's back. Gingerly, SS lifted him up and pressed it towards the wall. The glass glowed red, then white, then melted under the heated onslaught. He carved a roughly man-sized hole, then returned Cyndaquil to his Pokeball.
SS dropped to the floor of the warehouse, lucky to have his metal boots and grieves muffled with rubber. He stealthily slid from shadow to shadow, drawing in on the center of the building. The four thieves stood around a table, appearing to be squabbling over something. In the center was the rare Pokeball, a black and red ball that featured similar specs to a Master Ball but wasn't 100% capture. As he drew closer, SS could hear their conversation.
"...So I think I should decide what we use it on, since I was the one who stole it." The one thief gestured threateningly.
"Right, Charles." said another. "We're gonna let you, the
brains of the operation decide what to use it on. What did you have in mind? A Zubat?" The other two chuckled along with the second as "Charles" turned red.
"Well, what would you do with it, Haven?" Charles slammed the table with his fist. "What would you do?"
"Me?" Haven scratched his chin. "I'd use it on one of them Legendary Dogs. I have a particular swing towards Entei."
"Like you'd ever get close enough to Entei to smell 'im." The third thief entered the verbal fray. "I'd go after Lugia."
"Your insult applies to you, James." Haven shot him a glare. He nodded to the fourth thief. "What would you do, Ran?"
Ran looked at the floor then up again. "I'd get a Dratini. Then, raise it up to a Dragonite. They're pretty powerful, so I hear."
The others considered Ran's words. SS was having a wonderful conversation with his left hand when they finally started talking again. "Sounds like a plan." Haven nodded. "We'll do that, then. Dratini it is."
"Sorry to break up the party, boys, but I can't let you do that." SS swooped down on his green wings and scooped the ball off the table. "I've gotta return this to where you stole it from." He soared up and landed on another stack of crates. "Ciao!"
"Hold it!" Charles drew his Pokeball. "We're not gonna let you get away with this! Go, Mightyena!" His Pokemon appeared on the table and howled. "Get him! Crunch, now!" The Mightyena leaped upwards at SS.
"Go, Stantler!" SS's Stantler appeared on the crate below him. "Let's rock!"

SS VS Charles

SS: Stantler! Dodge Mightyena and use Psychic!
Stantler: *dodges but takes slight Crunch on left side* 45-7= 38
*Stantler uses Psychic*
Mightyena: *blown back by Psychic* 45-10=35
Charles: Mightyena, Tackle!
Mightyena: Grrow!!! *Charges in*
SS: Stantler! Use Reflect!
Stantler: *Uses reflect and Mightyena runs into it*
Mightyena: 35-9= 26
SS: Now, Stantler! Use Confusion!
Stantler: *uses Confusion*
Mightyena: *is thrown against wall* 26-9-6(wall damage)=11
Charles: G-Get up, Mightyena!
SS: Stantler! Stomp it down!
Stantler: *charges*
Mightyena: *stands up*
Charles: Mightyena! Use Crunch!
Mightyena: Grrraow!!!! *bites down on Stantler's leg*
Stantler: Staaaa! 38-12=26
SS: Grr... use Psychic!
Stantler: *uses Psychic*
*Mightyena Faints*
Charles: Gah!!! *recalls Mightyena*
*Haven and James step forward*
Haven: We'll fight you now!
James: 2 on 1 is completely and utterly unfair! Just like us.
SS:*recalls Stantler* Good job, Stantler. *draws two Pokeballs* Maybe from your perspective. But not from a member of Team Aqua's! *tosses Pokeballs* Go, Jigglypuff! Go, Chompy!
*Jigglypuff and Chompy the Carvanha appear* *SS jumps down to the floor* Let's go, then.
Haven: Huh... Fine! Go, Espeon! *summons Espeon*
James: And I'll add... Noctowl! *summons Noctowl*
SS: Feh... Let's go!
~~~~BATTLE!~~~~
SS vs Haven and James
SS: Jigglypuff! Mega Punch that Noctowl out of the sky! Chompy, propel her with Water Gun!
James: Go higher, Noctowl! Fly!
Haven: Espeon! Shadow Ball!
*Jigglypuff jumps, and Chompy propels it forward. Noctowl tries to get higher, but fails to do so in time and gets hit. It quickly recovers, and gets higher. Meanwhile, Espeon fired its Shadow Ball impacts Chompy.*
Jigglypuff: 50-5 (Water Gun damage)= 45
Chompy: 45-10= 35
Noctowl: 45-10= 35
Espeon: 45
SS: ...Grr... Chompy! Bite that Espeon! Jigglypuff, Rollout!
Haven: Espeon! Quick Attack! Stay away from it!
James: Noctowl, dive now!
*Chompy angles in at Espeon, but Espeon dodges out of the way... right into Jigglypuff's Rollout attack. It flies into a stack of crates. Noctowl dives and knocks Jigglypuff out of its roll, and it spins out next to Chompy. Espeon shakes itself off and emerges from the crates.*
Jigglypuff: 45-7=38
Chompy: 35
Espeon: 35-7-2(crates)=26
Noctowl: 35
*Noctowl lands and gets close to Jigglypuff*
James: What are you doing, Noctowl?
SS: Heh heheh! Jigglypuff's trait is Cute Charm! Any male Pokemon that hits it becomes instantly infatuated and will refuse to fight it! Jigglypuff! Mega Punch! Chompy, use Bubble on the Noctowl as well!
Haven: Espeon! Double Team, double time!
*Jigglypuff pulls back whacks Noctowl at point-blank range. It didn't help that Jigglypuff got a critical hit as well. As it soars upwards, Chompy cuts loose with Bubble. The multiple bubbles impale on Noctowl as Espeon arrives too late. It snatches a Fainted Noctowl out of the air.*
Jigglypuff: 38
Chompy: 35
Espeon: 26
Noctowl: Fainted
SS: One down, one to go.
James: Think again! Go, Zigzagoon!
SS: ...Wonderful. Jigglypuff, Rollout that Zigzagoon. Chompy, Water Gun that Espeon!
Haven: Espeon, Reflect!
James: Zigzagoon, Pin Missle!
*Jigglypuff starts rolling. Zigzagoon's Pin Missiles hit it, but Jigglypuff has too much momentum for them to do any real damage. Zigzagoon tries to dodge, but too late. It gets hit and knocked to the side. Meanwhile, Chompy has fired his Water Gun and is in a "beam struggle" with the Espeon. The water is being deflected off to the side, and the Espeon isn't budging.*
Jigglypuff: 38-2= 36
Chompy: 35
Espeon: 26
Zigzagoon: 40-12(Since Rollout gets stronger the more it's used.)= 28
SS: Jigglypuff! Keep rolling! Bring it around to that Espeon! Chompy, keep tracking it!
James: Zigzagoon! Tackle that Carvanha!
Haven: Espeon! Quick Attack!
*Jigglypuff comes about to hit Espeon, but Espeon has already dodged. Chompy is following it with Water Gun, but sees Zigzagoon coming up at his side. He tries to turn but is tackled into the air. While up there, he turns and uses Water Gun on Zigzagoon, soaking him and throwing him back a few feet.*
Jigglypuff: 38
Chompy: 35-5= 30
Espeon: 26
Zigzagoon: 28-5= 23
SS: Geez... Jigglypuff, Chompy... Take James and his Zigzagoon out of the fight. Rollout, Water Gun, NOW!
James: Zigzagoon! Pin Missle that Carvanha!
Haven: Espeon! Shadow Ball!
*Jigglypuff starts rolling towards Zigzagoon. Zigzagoon and Chompy fire at the same time. Jigglypuff, as it rolls, rolls in front of Chompy's blast. It propels Jigglypuff faster than it was, into Zigzagoon, propelling it into some crates, where it faints. Espeon's shadow ball hits Jigglypuff, but does relatively minimal damage.*
Jigglypuff: 38-4=34
Chompy: 30
Espeon: 26
Zigzagoon: 23-20-3= 0
James: Zigzagoon!!! *he returns it and jumps out of the fight.*
SS: Finally! Jigglypuff! Double Slap that Espeon into submission! Chompy! Pin it down with Bubble until she gets over there!
Haven: Espeon! Tackle that Jigglypuff and Bite it!
*Espeon lunges at Jigglpuff but is hosed down by a Bubble from Chompy. Jigglpuff closes in, and after about two minutes of Double-Slapping, causes Espeon to faint.*
Haven: Dangit!! *he recalls Espeon* Dang it all! We're leaving!
*Three of them leave.*
SS: Well, that was all too easy. *recalls Chompy and Jigglypuff* Great teamwork, you two. Rest now. *turns to leave*
Ran: Wait!
SS: *turns around* Yes?
Ran: You can't leave until you battle me!
SS: ... And why not?
Ran: Well, you're from Team Aqua, right?
SS: Yeah...
Ran: And you're honorable, right?
SS: Yup.
Ran: Then I extend an invitation to you to do battle. Surely you can't deny me this request?
SS:... Fine.
Ran: On one condition, though. If I win, you give me back the Pokeball you just stole.
SS: @_@ I just stole?!? ...*sigh* Fine. What style of combat?
Ran: One on one. I must warn you, though. My Grass-type pokemon and I have been through a lot together. We won't be so easy to defeat.
SS: ................*trying to contain evil/hysterical laughter*...............
Ran: What?
SS: Nothing. Let's rock.
~~~BATTLE!~~~
SS vs Ran
Ran: Right! I'll use Grovyle! *summons pokemon*
SS: Then I'll use... Cyndaquil. *casually tosses the ball*
Ran: ... You have a Fire type.
SS: Yep.
Ran: Crap.
SS: That about sums it up.
Ran: Dang. Grovyle! Bullet Seed!
SS: Cyndaquil! Dodge with Quick Attack then Ember!
*Grovyle launches a spray of seeds from its mouth at Cyndaquil, but he's already moved. Grovyle tries to track Cyndaquil, but fails as Cyndaquil launches his Ember attack. Grovyle takes it directly and catches fire.*
Cyndaquil: 39 ((I found a website, www.pe2k.com, that has base stats and everything for every Pokemon. I discovered it after I had already done the top part. Sorry.))
Grovyle: 50- 12-2(burn)= 36
Ran: Grovyle! Use Quick Attack!
SS: Curses... Try to dodge, Cyndaquil!
*The two enter a DBZ-esque battle. However, Grovyle lands a kick on Cyndaquil which sends it flying.*
Cyndaquil: 39-9= 30
Grovyle= 36-2=34
Ran: Now, while it's defenseless! Leaf Blade!
SS: Cyndaquil! Flamethrower!!!!
*Grovyle "conducts" a line of razor-sharp leaves around to fly at Cyndaquil. However, as Cyndaquil cuts loose with Flamethrower, the leaves are burnt to ash, and Grovyle is hit.*
~~~IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!!!~~~
Cyndaquil: 30
Grovyle: 34-35-2= 0
*Grovyle, after coughing up some soot, faints*
SS: Right! One more, now!
Ran: Okay, lets go... Nuzleaf!! *releases Pokemon*
SS: To quote Hellsing, "Before you even have the chance to tremble, you'll perish like straw." Cyndaquil! Use Flamethrower!
Ran: Nuzleaf! Harden!
*As the flames from Cyndaquil reach Nuzleaf, it hardens its body. Although it is shielded from the brunt of the attack, it still takes heavy damage.*
Cyndaquil: 30
Nuzleaf: 70-20= 50
SS: Now, Cyndaquil! Use Quick Attack and get in close!
Ran: Nuzleaf! Razor Wind!
*As Cyndaquil draws close, Nuzleaf sends a spiral wind out at him. Cyndaquil gets hit and thrown back.*
Cyndaquil: 30-15 = 15
Nuzleaf: 50
SS: Cyndaquil! Ember!
Ran: Nuzleaf, Faint Attack!
*As Cyndaquil fires, Nuzleaf disappears. Cyndaquil looks around, but it is nowhere to be seen. As he turns, Nuzleaf drops out from the roof behind Cyndaquil and kicks him back towards SS.*
Cyndaquil: 15-10= 5
Nuzleaf: 50
Ran: Hah! I guess your overrated Fire-type is no match for my Grass-type. *He laughs, and Nuzleaf with him*
SS: Grrr.... Cyndaquil, stand up! Let's wipe the smirk off of this stinking thief's face. *Cyndaquil nods and makes his way to his feet.*
Ran: It's no use! Nuzleaf! Use Faint Attack again! *Nuzleaf nods and disappears again.*
SS: Cyndaquil, when it appears, you've gotta blast it with a Critical Hit Flamethrower. I know you can do it. Now get out there and make our Team proud! *Cyndaquil nods and moves into the center.*
*For a few moments, nothing is heard except Cyndaquil's labored breathing. Ran looks on, arrogantly confident. SS watches, hard-faced but determined.*
Ran: Enough! Nuzleaf, finish it!
SS: Get ready, Cyndaquil!
*Cyndaquil stops moving and is still. Nuzleaf suddenly appears, attacking from behind again. But this time... With a downwards dodge, Cyndaquil avoids the attack.*
Ran: What?
SS: Yeah! Now let him have it!!!!
*Cyndaquil lets rip with a Flamethrower so powerful it puts a gaping hole through the roof.*
~~~IT'S A SUPER EFFECTIVE CRITICAL HIT!!!!!~~~
Cyndaquil: 5
Nuzleaf: 50-60= 0
*Nuzleaf, burned jet black, coughs then falls over.*
Ran: NOOO! NUZLEAF!! *runs over*
SS: You were awesome, Cyndaquil! *picks him up* We're out of here.
*SS walks out, leaving Ran to tend to his wounded Pokemon.*
SS: *tossing the Pokeball up and down* Huh. All that trouble for this. *drops it* Whoops! *rolls to a stop by a Sandshrew*
*Sandshrew sniffs it, then picks it up and takes off.*
SS: Hey! I need that!
*SS gives chase. After about five minutes, he cornered it down an alley.*
SS: Hand it over, Sandshrew!
*Sandshrew just hisses at him*
SS: Fine. If that's the way you want it, that's the way you get it! Go, Oddish! *releases Oddish*
~~~A Pokemon Appeared!~~~
SS vs Sandshrew
SS: Oddish! Hit it with Stun Spore!
*Oddish shook its head. A fine golden powder drifted out, heading for Sandshrew. It tunneled under and leaped out in front of Oddish, uppercutting it.*
Oddish: 45-7= 38
Sandshrew: 50
SS: Grr... Acid, now!
*Oddish spat some purplish liquid out of its mouth. Sandshrew kicked up some sand, though it got covered in the glop. Oddish blinked as sand hit it in the eyes.*
Oddish: 38
Sandshrew: 50-8 = 42
SS: Oddish, use Absorb!
*Oddish's petals glowed brightly. So did Sandshrew as its energy was sapped. The poison had seeped into its skin, and it was semi-convulsing on the ground.*
Oddish: 38+1= 39
Sandshrew: 42-10-3(poison)=29
SS: Oddish! Go, Acid again!
*As Oddish went to spit the glob, Sandshrew jumped up, and Scratched at it. It got hit again by the Acid again, however.*
Oddish: 39-9= 30
Sandshrew: 29-8-3= 18
SS: Right! Let's capture it now! Pokeball, Go! *throws Pokeball*
*The Pokeball engulfs Sandshrew. It falls to the ground, twitching. It stops twitching as the red light fades away to reveal the normal button. SS picks it up, and the rare Pokeball.*
SS: Right! I caught... a Sandshrew!!! *He strikes a pose, then stores both Pokeballs in his backpack* Now, it's back to base for me! *returns Cyndaquil* *opens wings* Away I go! *Takes off*
*Begins to fly back to base.*
SS: Fifteen men on a dead man's chest, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum....
*SS's singing fades away as he flies to base.*
