We are the swift... We are the strong...  Pepperpaw[Pepperpaw nodded happily. It was good that Spadepaw was starting her training. If she saw the territory then they would be at about the same level, then they could, hopefully, train together.] "Have fun.
[Pepperpaw turned around, searching for the familiar orange tabby pelt of Joypaw. No such pelt was present in the clearing so he went searching. He peaked into the medicine cat den, thinking that maybe Joypaw was feeling sore from her late night adventure but she wasn't there. He checked the elders den next, hoping that maybe she was listening to one of the many stories that the elders held dear. Then it hit him, she must be resting.]
[Pepperpaw moved into the apprentice den quietly and looked around. To his right he could see a bundle of orange and white fur. Silently he moved to sit beside her.] "Joypaw? You said you wanted to talk to me? We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

We are the swift... We are the strong... Pepperpaw [Pepperpaw turned to watch Joypaw leave with a confused expression planted firmly on his muzzle. He waited a few heart beats before standing and following after the disappearing orange and white tail. In the clearing he could easily spot Joypaw amongst the fairly dark pelts around them.]
"Joypaw, you said it was important. So yes, it does matter." [Pepperpaw mewed softly, hoping to get it out of her. He just hoped she would not snap at him like she had once did. He had a good idea of what it was about, and he was slightly scared to hear it but he was determined. Just because he wasn't her mate, didn't mean he couldn't be there for her as a friend. Joypaw had been his first real friend, and he still needed to be. He would do just about anything for the tabby she-cat.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

We are the swift... We are the strong... Pepperpaw [Looking around and stomping his paws on the ground Pepperpaw internally debated what he should do. Joypaw could get in trouble for leaving the camp, he was lucky he hadn't because of what had happened with Cometstream.]
[Pepperpaw paced back and forth in front of the camp entrance, glancing back at Spadepaw and her mentor. They would be busy soon enough. With a groan and grunt he padded out of the camp after Joypaw. He followed her scent at a quick pace, relieved when he finally caught up with her.]
"Is it about Spadepaw and I?" [Pepperpaw asked, tilting his head to the side slightly as he matched Joypaw's pace.] "I feared something like this would happen when I... found out about both of your feelings... We are and always will be... Breezeclan...
