The door to the Order Kitchens creaked loudly on its rickety hinges as Meta emerged from her lair. She stretched, yawning widely, chest bouncing. (She hadn't bothered to put on anything more than a vest and a pair of her black harem pants) Good lord, what time was it? It was FAR too bright. And just WHAT had that boom been earlier? She looked up at the clock on the Clurchtower. Her eyes widened. "OHMICLAM, IT'S ALREADY PAST LUNCH! LORIKA-SAMA'S GOING TO KILL ME!" She dashed back inside, her winter ruff smacking her in the face. As fast as she could, she sliced up some crusty breads, plopped them on a platter, got out a selection of handmade sausages and lunchmeats (setting aside her favorite, cold sliced tongue, to eat later), and some marinated vegetables. She plopped them all on two platters and rushed off to find Lorika. Best to find the head lady and placate her first before anything else.

((sorry, don't remember)) If a diety created all that is... "Ugh..." murmered Xeiashi as he awoke from his unconscious stupor. The very act of opening his mouth sent a few jolts of pain coursing through his aching body, though nevertheless he soon said, "Where...*cough*...am I?" Despite asking a question, he was determined to find out for himself, and began to prop himself up on his...infirmary bed?
Again acting through the aches and pains of recent de-coma-isation (is there a worrd for that?) , he managed to assume a sitting position. All around were oceanic themes in light blues and whites, the signature colors of the B.O.O. whoo...I made it he thought weakly as his arms failed him and he flopped back into the bed.
From here, he began to piece together what had gotten him here. well, first the Craft sank....then I swam...then I passed out on shore....but what then? Here he -mentally, of course- rattled his brain for answers. oh yeah...then I walked around for a while with that delusion-induced purple hippo...and...did I nearly die? Again his memory failed him, though he soon recalled, yeah...I guess I did...I distinctly remember looking into that void and thinking, ya know, its not too bad here... Then everything after is pretty much a blur... he thought as he continued contemplating.
He soon heard a slight noise somewhere near. "Is...*cough...ugh* someone there?"
...wouldn't all writers be dieties of their own worlds? -Xeiashi Zakariz((hoorah! finally got a fancy-pants formating style!)) ((gotta go everyone, won't be back till 6-7pm Wed, so either godmod Xeiashi -IC with his personality and whatnot, he generally won't talk to people, though if Evelyn mentions something about saving his life, hes pretty honor-bound to at least talk- or have him talk for a few minutes then pass back out from exhaustion))

"Umm...not to be rude Harata, but are you trying to insult me?" Alexi asked. "With the insane comment, I mean. We just met and...it just seemed a little out of place. No matter, though. Even if it is, insults don't bother me anyway."
((Not trying to start anything with this one...just adding to the conversation XD And yes, Alexi is tougher than she looks. In this sense, I kinda based her off of something that happened to me...but I'm not getting into that. XD))

 Evelyn  Evelyn looked up from the book she had borrowed from the library at a voice. The boy that she had been watching over had awoken. She closed the book promptly and rushed over to the boy's bedside. "Garçon, you have awakened! This is wonderful!" Evelyn's own voice sounded foreign to her. Perhaps she had spent too much time with her nose in books speaking in old English recently... Trying to shake herself out of the old English stupor, she tried talking to him again. "Are you okay? You've had me worried for a week, garçon!"Evelyn had spent the past week mostly in the infirmary watching over the boy, with a book in her hand. She would go to the Practice Hall to get a new book or check on Bakar occasionally, but other than those few trips, it was unlikely to find her elsewhere. {{I can wait 'til Wednesday for a response. And Evelyn didn't exactly save his life, just found him first...}}

(( this scenario is being continued from the TG ))
"Uhh," Jessie eloquently replied, glancing again at Cressa. Sparring. Did he HAVE to mention SPARRING? Oh, no. He could see this situation going downhill very quickly.
"Please, I wouldn't ask you to trouble yourself for us. We were just picking up a... a couple of things."
"I knew it," Cressa whispered, her interested gaze widening. Jessie shot her a warning look, but she continued "You're Bhaalspawn."
(( DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN.
For everyone confused by her repeated insights, Cressa has an innate ability to pick up on energy signatures and sense certain things about a person. She can track and find people by their energies after only a single meeting, but is especially good at finding people she spends a lot of time around, such as Jessie. She can also sense these things about objects and their owners or previous owners. Anyway, this is how she knew about Coline's feelings of worthlessness and insecurity, and her orphanhood. Her insight doesnt go deeper than the surface, though. ))

Do I control the blades in my hands?
"W-what did you gust say?!" Storm snapped his head to the side, hearing the small whisper. His blue eyes seemed to glow with the taint. "What do you know of the Bhaalspawn?" he started to looked at both of them, one after the other, not knowing what to do. They were drow who knew of Alaundo's prophecy, And he knew not a whole hell of a lot about them. The voices returned. Yes, they know of you child. They know of your power. They know of your taint. Take a look at them. The dark ones. In The underdark, you would be heralded as a demigod should you have been one of them. Look at them they stare at you, the fear rising in them. You are a monster. And yet, you are still insuperior to them...
"Geeeet... OUt...OF MY HEAD!!" Storm held his head in his arms, elbows over his ears, and thrashed.
They don't trust you. they will kill you... if you don't kill them...
Or do they control me?

Jessie regarded Cressa in confusion, and then Drax in horror as he reacted.
"What did you do?!" he hissed at the woman "What the hell is a Bhaalspawn? I knew he was dangerous, but-"
"Jessie, let me handle this," she said, with such authority in her voice that he didn't dare argue. She stepped towards the anguished man and bent, placing both her hands either side of his face. "Hey, now," she said, voice low and sultry, fearlessly ignoring his thrashing "That's enough. You're amongst friends here."
Incredible. Then again, maybe a little pity and kindness really would do the trick. Cressa made a habit of charming the pants off of any man - why not charm the fight out of him, too?

The sound of metal being thrust into the air emanated through the walls. At the heart of the cave stood a downcast Coline, running through the same set of drills for hours on end. Most people would find training to be a means of escaping their inner thoughts, but for this recruit it was different. In fact, it was the exact opposite.
She hadn't been expecting to come back so soon, to be honest. It was strange, but she'd somehow developed some sort of attachment to this place. It was fairly secluded; no one in their right mind would go through the trouble of going there without any specific purpose. Not that a lot of people knew the cave even existed anyway.
The drow lady's words echoed endlessly in her mind. How she was able to know of such a deep-seated secret was still something she couldn't wrap her mind around, but... she couldn't deny the underlying truth. Someone like her, a lowly recruit, an orphan, a complete nothing... didn't deserve someone like Jessie.
Coline clenched her teeth, sweat trickling down the sides of her face. Even if he says she herself was enough... it just wasn't! She could offer him her body, her soul, everything about her and it still wouldn't be enough! It just... wouldn't. It would be no different from offering him nothing from the start...
The thrusting of her trident was evidently becoming more violent. It occurred to her that training would only fuel her thoughts more, but she knew the worst would soon come to pass. If she went at it long enough she would eventually get tired, drift into the dark crevices of her unconscious, and finally be able to make her temporary escape from reality.

Harata looked at the man. "Uhh, Bapp. Yeah, about him. We've, kinda, lost him. Do you know where he is?" She looked at Alexi, amused. "No, hon. I've already had my fill of insulting people today. Can't make too many enemies."

Feline crept down to the basement in what had become a daily ritual since the night she had drug the two half dead men into the temple. She smiled warmly at the two guards and handed them each their bribes, fresh pastries from the kitchens made by Meta. The taller and younger blond haired guard nodded his thanks and proceeded to stuff the whole thing in at once. The slightly shorter dark hair guard carefully tucked the pastry away. “This will come in handy later, much thanks cat lady.” Feline blushed a little at their thanks. It was purely for selfish reasons she even bothered to come down every day, but by silent agreement neither party mentioned it as both were quite content with outcome. “How is the prisoner?” Feline inquired trying not to look too interested in the actual answer of the question, but again she wasn’t fooling herself or the guard. The dark haired guard rubbed his hands through his hair and shrugged. “Same as the last few days. Angry and happy to let everyone know about it.” “One of the evening guards almost got his hand taken off while trying to give the prisoner food the other day! “ The young guard blurted out, while giving the door that was the only thing keeping the prisoner away from them a hard glance. Feline smiled at him again, “Well then I’m glad I have such strong men as you to keep me safe.” looking to the older guard she added, “Do you mind if I rest for a while next to the wall and eat my lunch?”Both men quickly agreed, happy for this break in the monotony of guarding the prisoner. Feline settled against the wall and turned her senses to the tiger man that was pacing within. Yes there was anger that was coming off of him but also frustration and sorrow. Being near him she was again struck by the feeling that he was not of this plane of existence and wondered, not for the first time, if he was stuck here too. Is that where the sorrow comes from? Are you stuck in this strange land alone and not understood by those who live here?Feline could feel his energy come and go as he paced back and forth by the wall she was sitting against. She found it strangely comforting each time it enveloped her. Even though she barely even knew the man it was enough to know that he was in the same conundrum as her and may have the key she was looking for. Finishing up the last of her meal she stood up and put her hand on the wall. You are not alone, she thought hard trying to push it through the barrier to the tiger man that resided within. He pased by again and seemed to pause slightly when he passed her, but then continued on fast enought that Feline wasn't sure if it was just her imagination. With sigh she realized that it was time to get back to her studying and waved cheerfully to the guards as she made her way to the stairs.

I am gone from my home, my world...
He had seen the girl come down every night, or so it seemed. she gave the two men guarding him.. was it pastries he smelled? He could see nothing but the small space of stone wall across from the bars of the immense door keeping him at bay. It was a small room, too small to truly pace, but he would walk back and forth, Thinking about how things had become so. He had tipped his metal framed bed up, so as to have it rest it's feet against the wall and the foot of the frame solidly resting on the floor. From there it was possible to keep in shape- he couldn't let his training slip, and as there really was nothing to do, he would work out. He sensed the girl leaving... He was -sad?- to feel her go. He harbored much ill against these men, and every time he was able, he let them know. Thing was, he didn't really want her to know... to become disappointed... Why was he feeling this way? Some sort of magic to keep him docile? No. He would think no more on this. "Excuse me," he said, his voice coarse and shaky, his throat dry and his vocals unused. "Please, whoever you are, let me speak with you." "You can't hide from me your presence."
But it is really gone from me?

Feline stopped dead in the middle of the stairway as the hoarse voice drifted through the door. She was too startled to move at first, but the weariness in the voice spoke to her heart and she turned around and descended the stairs. “I’m here,” She called out slowly approaching the door. The guards looked worriedly at her, but she brushed off their concern to peak her face above the barred opening to the door. “I’m sorry. I wasn’t trying to hide.” She blushed slightly. This was the first time she had seen into his cell, and the cramped quarters seemed even smaller with his sinewy bulk crouched inside of it.
