Cadence glanced up at him with a pained expression. "My ears have extremely acute hearing. Anything you hear is nearly five times louder and higher pitched to me." Cadence explained, taking note of his sudden reaction to her own. A smirk compiled itself on her crimson lips, pulling at her delicately put-together features. "You have a connection with Cadence?" She asked calmly, taking two steps toward him. "This has happened to others before, but you seem to be taking extra hard." Cadence cautiously made her way over to Kenzi before dropping down next to him. Her legs were sprawled out over the carpet as both violet eyes were fixiated upon the male. "Are you going to be alright?" There was a slight hint of concern, but it was not shown on her face. He seemed to have a growing headache..a migrane possibly? Ouch, that would suck. "Next time don't make mental connections with Nekos, Kenzi." Cadence warned with a soft sigh, but an evil glint luminating her hues. He deserved having teh headache for prying, but at the same time she had not realized it would be this bad.

Kenzi watched her when he recieved his answer, breaking the link with her head as she began to ask her question. He was still hurting though and continued to lean, "I had made one with you...but just a link with your mind." He said this and sighed when he heard that it had happened to others and he had taken it worse than they had. He listened still though, watching her with his open eye as she dropped onto the ground and stretched out her legs, he let himslf slide down the bookshelf to sit because that was more comfortable. At her question he shrugged, "I do not know if I will be okay, but it does not matter. If I am not it is not that bad and I'll get over it sooner or later..." he answered and listened to the next comment she made, blinking a couple times and then laughing. "I'll make whatever kinds of connections I want with whomever I decide to...I just wasn't expecting your hearing to be so sensitive..." With that Kenzi trailed off and grabbed his head with both hands resting his elbows on his knees as he rubbed at hisown temples as she had. Every now and then a sharp breath would escape from his lips, an "ow" here or there but he ignored it for the most part...unsure of whether or not it was a good idea to keep thinking.

Her head placed itself between two separate books to keep it set firmly in position. Kenzi's arrogance made a soft chuckle pass the young lady's crimson lips. "One day..someone is going to b***h-slap you for prying into their mind. Luckily i'm not the one to do it. Find the other personalities amsuing?" Cadence seemed unusually calm with the implication, watching him from the corner of her eye. Technically, it was not her body to care for-so it really did not matter. However if the real Cadence found out, the trust between them would have snapped almost instantly."Cadence has about four others dwelling within her. Cadence keeps to her shy, crybaby self, and we normally take over," she paused for a moment, scratching her chin with a long, black nail. A smile stretched across her lips; a proud almost maternal smile. "Sometimes Cadence does take on our feelings though. She is one b***h cause of me sometimes." A hand caressed the side of her neck as it crained over to look back at Kenzi. "Well..do what you want then. Don't think you can get away with it all the time though." Cadence smile faded slightly as she continued watching Kenzi's pain. Maybe this was more serious than he was telling her. "I'm a neko dumbass..what do you expect?"

Kenzi listened to he as she spoke, taking in the things carefully as was possible for him at the moment with the pain going on in his head...but he couldn't screw with his own mind much so after he decided that there was little for him to do about it he let go of his head opened his eyes and ignored it...however stressful it was. But at her words his brow raised and he turned his head to her, "I would not expect you to be so sensitive...because I've known people with just as well if not better hearing and they are not so sensitive to it." He shrugged and then changed the subject only slightly by answering a diferent question she'd asked of him in the last time she had spoken. "As for your other personalities...they're interesting. I don't know if they are amusing but interesting definitely..." With that he grabed his head again unable to ignore the sering pain going on there, something had gone wrong..."So what did you mean by telling me I can do what you want? What might I want to do that I won't be able to get away with whenever Cadence has control and not you..um...Rebellion?" With that question he quieted and waited for her to answer him.

Cadence let her stiff vertabrae slowly slip. A soft, eerie cracking sound reached her midnight cat ears due to this, and it ended with the neko resting her upper-body ontop of her soft, tanned legs. Her charcoal locks fell off her shoulder with a waterfall effect and she stared at Kenzi with her cold, violet hues. "Yeah well Cadence is a quiet person. Lots of noise causes her to...be a baby b***h?" A flippant sigh passed Rebellion's lips, swatting a strand of misplaced hair away from her face. Her long, fluffy tail swayed monotinously across teh carpetted floor. The friction warming that 'limb' for teh time being. "They're not my personalities," she cooed in an annoyed fashion, waving at him angrily. "Certainly not..I can take care of myself." The smile caressing her crimson lips twitched waringly, and both hands laced together as to keep them from strangling him. "Cadence has an amazing abilities. She has more power than she thinks, and the fact she does scares the s**t out of the poor girl." She did not take notice that he did not call her Cadence, but smiled inwardly. It was nice to be referred to as someone other then Cadence. "She is strong, and could and would defend herself from her if needed. We don't have to do that for her. Cadence has had to in the past anyway. Don't think she hasn't dealt with telepaths thin king they could over-take her mind." Rebellion smirked maliciously, tilting her head off to the right slightly. Her hair rippled like the water; every wave had a pleasantly dangerous sheen to it. "Why do you under estimate her so?" Rebellion had this odd touch lvoe for Cadence, and would obviously defend the neko if needed. Kenzi did not even know Cadence that well. It was disgusting how he automatically thought he could take Cadence's mind. The neko has already had that happened.

Kenzi listened to her and laughed whenever she said that he had underestimated Cadence. "I do not underestimate her, though she is not my enemy so it is permitted by the Laws if I do, I simply act this way toward you because it is the best way for me to make the however-many of you fit." he said this and then pulled the Darke knife from his belt, a completely blackened knife that he had pretty much stolen from a past enemy. He spun it around his wrist, not his hand, for a moment and then it jumped up into his hand, fingers spreading and gripping it so that about an inch of it was protruding from his flat grip and he raised it to his head and it jumped again stabbing at his temple. When the point touched his temple it stopped and then went in just slightly further as he looked at the ground, the blood trickling down his face calmly. There was a bright purple light and then the blood crawled back up into his head and a maroon colored mist seeped out of the small wound. Once the wound had sealed and the mist had dissipated his headache seemed to calm and he flipped the knife into a throwing grip and threw it at a Black Kali book that was slightly protrudigng from the shelf, going through until is hit the hilt and then pushing it all the way to the back of the shelf. "Much better..." with his announcement of feeling better he cracked his neck and then rolled his head back to look at her. "So...has someone with my same abilities tried to do something wrong with her before, by using them improperly?" He was curious as to her jumping to the defense.

She chuckled slightly, burying her face into the miniscule crevis where her knees separate. The warmth radiating from her body was comforting, and the fact that Cadence was beginning to restore order made it even more comforting. She wouldleave Kenzi soon, but she did not want to. He was a cocky, smartass and Rebellion enjoyed his company. The only person who matched her in sarcasm and reasoning. "You'll know her eventually..I even think she may grow on you." Rebellion turned her face up to watch the intriguing removal of his headache. The violet within her optic was beginning to flake away back to its original crimson, and everything about Rebellion was slowly fading away. "You're definetely an intriguing person.." The mixture of a high, squeaky voice was present within hers, and it was the last thing Rebellion ever had a chance to say. The Neko faded into a black haze for a few moments before finally lifting.

Cadence rubbed her eyes as if she had a long, luxurious(sp?) nap in the time Rebellion had consumed her body. "People have used me for terrible things...telepathically and not. People have used me in many ways." Her voice quivered uneasily as her fingers trailed through her soft, auburn locks. If she looked back on all the events having taken place because of her, Cadence did not even deserve to live anymore. There were multiple things she did not have to do, but she did for the childish reason that they would be her friends. "Sometimes..I believe in things too easily, and I end up doing something terrible.." The neko pulled her ears back, allowing them to disappear into the mass of red ontop of her head. Cadence smiled nonetheless, rolling her shoulder back. There were multiple cracking sounds that came from the vertabrae, but Cadence did not seem teh least bit affected by the noises.

He looked at her and listened to the way that she answered him. He thought about it a little bit and looked at the ground, happy to be free of his headache but wondering what kind of things she was used for, he would not ask for specifics so that she would not be suspicious of him, but as he sat there in silence he wondered whether or not he should investigate any further...he decided not to. "Well...I would not do that to you..." He said it matter of factly and then pulled himself into a stand. He still had a pretty well charade running with the people here, the charade dealing with his trust...he said nothing of it for the time being, but if ever it was thought different from what he wanted everyone to think it, he would change to make it right. He wanted things the way he thoguht they should be, and if they were not like that bad things usually happened...

Cadence's ears laid back calmly and the continuous twitching of her tail had ceased. She seemed at peace right now, and this normally happened after being controlled by the other. It gave time for the neko to rid herself of the troubles of the world; she even offered to give her body up for good, but they did not accept it. "Fighting is more interesting!" She remembered Rebellion saying calmly. Cadence always listened to that personality more than any other. "I'm sure you wouldn't, but I can never be too careful now can I?" Cadence winked, pushing herself into a standing position as well. A small, urbane smile rippled over her shimmering, pink lips and the neko seemed content. It was odd for her to be so calm, but Cadence was normally a very down to earth girl when her mind stopped racing for two seconds. Everything about life would pause just long enough for her to realize that in reality, Cadence could do nothing to stop the horrors of the world. For some reason though, she wished not to believe in it. Everyone had a small bit of good within their soul..it was just a matter of letting them know about it.

"Now, shall we get back to work then?" The neko turned her back on the male and strode toward the pyramid of literature. "Hmmm..Rebellion sure did have quite a lovely time destroying books.." Cadence mutttered softly, carefully placing the ones which had fallen onto the ground on a vacant table opposite of her. It took the female a good five minutes to get enough space on the furniture for her to even open a book, and when she did Cadence collapsed into a chair. One leg crossed over the other while her posture stood erect. Cadence truely appeared to be a lady; it was amusing to most to see her switch in personalities. She thought nothing of it.

With his hands behind his head and his swords at his side, Heero entered the library with wondering eyes. He was looking for the young Ms. Mihara so he could get this job done. The only real problam he had was the fact that he had to help her make friends seeing as how Heero isn't the most social of people. Heero let out a sigh to this fact as he continued this search for Ms. Mihara. Okay, so I think I'm supposed to meet her here. And if that's the case, I might as well sit down and wait or something. This is too big of a library to just wonder around looking for one specific person.

Heero took a seat in a chair at a table and closed his eyes. he really didn't know how he was going to get this done, but he knew he had to, he sort of made a promise that he hoped he could keep. Time for the waiting process. Heero thought to himself as he leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes.

Kumizu walked... well, struggled in, cane in one hand and carrying a rather large box. He was stubborn, and if anyone asked to help him, he'd refuse.

Kumizu walked over to the librarian. He said friendly, "Hi. You probably don't remember me-"

"Yes I do, Kumizu," Gen replied.

"...Okay. Well, I haven't been here in awhile and I was wondering if you're still holding the books for me." Gen disappeared for a moment and returned, holding two books in her hand. "I need to see your student ID."

"Of course." Kumizu set down the box carefully and reached into his pocket, fishing out his wallet. He withdrew the ID and gave it to her. She scanned it, typed into the computer, then gave him that along with the books. Kumizu opened the box and put them in before picking it up again. "Thanks. Have a good day."

He again got a short reply. "You too." Kumizu just nodded and left the library.

Totro walks casually to into the library, a small pitch-black monkey lacking much detail following reservedly behind him. Totro turns right upon entering, and walks over to the text books. He walks along the isles thinking to himself "N....N-E....N-E-C...Necromancy." He looked through the section which took up an entire wall of books until he found the section on hexes. He knelt down and looked carefully, "Beginner Hexes...Hexes for the Traveling Necromancer...Defense Hexes... Dry Hexes: Hexes for the Living. There we go." Totro carefully pulled out the book, and tucked it under his arm, as he stood up.

Totro walked over to the circulation desk, and placed the book on the counter. The monkey jumped onto the counter, before jumping onto Totro's shoulder, and crawling under his hat. Totro pulled his ID and showed it to the librarian. Smiling at them, he picked up the book, and fixed his hat. He walked over to one of the many empty tables, and placed the book down. He sat in the chair and opened the book up to the index.
