 As if enough trouble had not been caused that day, the shop doors creaked open, and in walked the third devil of the day. Erebus, the eldest of the three devils living on Earth. He had just ripped the throat out of his younger brother, Azarel, and his fine victorian clothes were spattered and stained here and there with blood. However this did not at all affect his demeanor. He walked with a fluid grace, and held a smile that could charm the wildest of hearts. But that was the nature of evil, he supposed. You allured the innocent through beauty and corrupted them through it.
Erebus was very little like his younger brothers, Azarel and nameless X. He was much more cruel than X, and more evil than Azarel, but at the same time more composed. More poised. More... beautiful. The devil heard a commotion as he walked into the shop, and as he glanced around, he decided to wait until he was attended to. There seemed to be a lot of action occurring at once.

Per usual the place was busy. New slaves were brought in and people were walking along the cages stopping here and there. She nibbled her food taking everything in. 'Even the shop keeper seems to be in two places at once,' she thought and rubbed her eyes. And now she was seeing demons. She decided she must be dreaming, still asleep, pinched herself and yelped in surprise.

To want happiness I had never known." Meredith blushed from embarrassment when Jay lifted him. He knew he was getting quite a few stares, exactly what he wanted to avoid. It was almost as if he was being advertised to all the slaveless masters in the shop.
Jay healed him, but honestly at that point, there was nothing to heal. His coughing fit had ended, and he was truthfully as fine as someone of his species could possibly be. But it helped somewhat to ease the pain of his sore, scratched up throat, bleeding from coughing so much. Once he returned to his cage and it was all over, he lied down limply on the bottom of it. He was still tired, and after all the excitement he needed some rest. "Never mind me, never mind me,

Kokoro no Ato [[ But not all of his illnesses can be healed.. He coughs because of an incurable medical condition he has caused by being a freaky, horrible, pathetic, mutated crossbreed... @_@; It's the entire point of the character~~ If he was completely magically better, it would be, like, boring to role play him.. gonk
And, okie dokie. Dibs called, post coming. ;o ]] (Alright I'll edit but if that was the case Jay wouldn't have even bought him to sell if he was going to be hacking up blood all the time...)

 She had noiced the door opening and look up.Something about this man seemed to catch her attention.She felt like she had seen him somewhere before.She moved to get a closer look at his face.She relized that he was a devil.'Wait a min.Thats the other brother of the two devils who were in here earlyer today'.

Unlike his brother, Azarel, instead of berating the vampire girl, he was the one who caught her thoughts. He smirked, and sent a thought to her.
"Yes, you met my brother. However he is not nearly so well mannered, as I." He explained mentally "Please do not compare me to that useless waste." He threw a golden-eyed glance at the vampire girl, and got a glimpse of her future. It was possible that his youngest brother, X, would seek the vampires companionship. After all, X was the only one who needed a bodyguard. She might be useful to him. But, alas, she was not what he sought. However something else caught his eye. A demon, was it? Intruguing. Erebus stepped over to Merediths cage, refraining from reading his mind for the sake of politeness.
"What are you, boy?" he asked flatly.

(Alright alright it's fine.)   Jay recombined with his clone and looked over at the door. "Hello sir... How can I help you?" He asked walking back over to the front and bowed his head to Erebus.Meanwhile at the back of the shop in a dark cage sat a slender woman watching quietly. Her ruby eyes scanned the shop and watched as pets were traded and sold. It was the type of busnisse she would have if it wasn't for her betrayal... He blood red hair trickled around her and covered part of her face as she looked at the new master that entered. 'Hmph... Devils are fun creatures...' She thought to her self and smiled evily in her dark cage.

Persephone glanced at the new devil and felt a chill run down her spine. He seemed even darker than the two before. She stood and walked to the front of her cage, inspecting him, wondering why so many of his kind came in one day. Would he be taking the demon he spoke to? Would he drag her into his personal hell? Condeming a child of life and light to the dark burning depths? She shook the thought off, knowing she'd seem weak if her thoughts made her tremble, instead she stood tall and proud. She wouldn't be afraid.

She never took her eyes off of Erebus, not once.She jumped a little when someone was talking to her inside her mind.'Did he just talk to me inside my mind?'.She could tell he was nothing like his brother Azarel.Also was a lot more mannered like he said.One things for sure, she would never compare him to his brother Azarel.'I wonder what he thinks about his little brother X?Does he care for him unlike Azarel?'

To want happiness I had never known." Meredith didn't realize the man who walked in until he was standing in front of his cage. The boy looked up at the tall man as he questioned him. What am I? That's an unusual question. But, then again, this is a slave shop... He thought to himself but didn't hesitate to answer. Staying quiet would only mean trouble.
"I'm a hybrid, sir. My parents were two different types of demons bred as an experiment to create something more powerful." Meredith paused to take a breath as he continued to look up at the man, "But it failed.. So i'm really not all that strong. B-But, I can still work, sir... I mean, I won't just lay around all day." He finished, hoping it was a detailed enough explanation. The way he advertised himself towards the end made him sick, why did I say that? I can't believe I just tried to sell myself... "Never mind me, never mind me,

Erebus turned at the sound of the owner's voice, and smiled politely. "Not at all, sir. Just browsing. I'll let you know if anything catches my eye."
Then the devil felt something else, something watching him. He flicked his golden gaze to the left. A red haired woman... he didn't bother trying to identify her race. Smirking at him with a malicious tint in her eyes. No, that one wouldn't do. Unlike his idiotic younger brother, Erebus was not looking just for a sex toy. Besides, from the look of that smirk, she was far too much like him. He'd wind up hating her. Another twinge. My my my, so many distractions. Turning his golden gaze in the opposite direction, he spotted another woman watching him. She was smaller than the red head, and seemed more worried by his entrance. Ah, she had sen his brothers? Just to give her something to think about, Erebus winked at her before turning back to the demon in the cage. Hearing the little vampires thoughts again, he replied without turning to her
"No. My nameless brother is despised by all hell dwellers. I simply hate him less than most."
At the young demons reply, the devil cocked his head to the side. A bit... broken, it seemed. Erebus...liked that. He found himself comparing his difficulties to the boy's. Aside from that it seemed right, that a devil should take on a demon.
"I see. What is your name, little broken one?"

The cages were packed, most of whose inhabitants were agitated by the presence of the new customers. It seems just about everything came to this store. Smiling she thought, 'well, at least I don't stick out in this crowd.' She could sense their power through her demon, who was all to happy to see what transpired.

A light blush rose on Persephone's cheeks when the devil winked at her. She took a step back, "He didn't just...did he?" Shaking her head she was furious at herself for blushing, feeling the warmth on her cheeks. What did she care if he winked at her? It wasn't like she found such a creature...atractive...No! With that she turned at sat in the middle of her cage, arms crossed, not looking at the man.

He massaged his temple and sat down at the front dest and began working on paperwork.Artemis watched and her smirk curled into an evil smile when he looked at her. She could tell he was more interested in the male hybred. And that was fine by her standareds. The only reason she was here was because she was caught killing her masters. She laid down on her large pillow and watched
