Armand embraced Airi backed with a longing in that hug. "It has been far too long Airi. Of course I forgive you. I could never stay mad at you. But I do still want answers." His eyes closed at her kiss and then opened again as he looked at her. He still remembered every detail of her face but something about seeing her again made him so happy. His mind flicked back to another image. Madeline. He surpressed a smile at the thought of her and turned his mind to the conversation at hand. "Why Airi? Why did you leave me so suddenly? I searched for you relentlessly but in the end I could not find you nor your scent."

Ravin purred into his neck and cuddled closer to Dylan. She continued rubbing her body against his. She leaned down to lick a line of sweat from his collarbone to his jaw. "I feel your ecstacy." She cupped her hands around his butt and squeezed. "Do you want more?" she hissed.




She felt the longing in his returned hug. It nearly brought Airi to tears. She tilted her head to the side with a look of longing in her eyes.

"I didn't mean to leave you," she whispered. Airi reached up a gentle hand to caress his pale cheek. "I was being chased by hunters. Remember the witch trials of Salem? Something like that. They suspected me of witchcraft or something of the sort. I had to to erase my scent and any other evidence of my passing. I couldn't tell you."

Airi touched her forehead to his, something that she only allowed herself to do with those who were extremely close to her. Armand fit into that category. "I never meant to hurt you, Armand-kun."

Ravin groaned, "My love..." She grabbed him and shoved him closer. His sweat streaked her cold body. Ravin shivered in pleasure under his heavy warmth. "I know."

Ravin slipped out of his embrace. She was on the other side of the room in the blink of an eye. Mischief glinting in her eyes, Ravin beckoned for Dylan to follow. She knew that he would. He wanted her body more than he knew.

Armand listened to her story not once letting his eyes leave her face. He wiped away the tears that came to her eyes and held her more securely. "It's ok Airi. I know you never meant to hurt me. I just couldn't believe that you had left. It was as if you had never existed and all the time we had spent together was just a wonderful and amazing dream." He shivered at her touch and closed his eyes when she brought her head down to his. He let himself breath in her scent once more filling himself with it. It had really been too long.

"And then you found that...that girl," she whispered harshly, her voice breaking on the last word. She tilited her head to the side to breathe in Armand's scent. It helped to calm her. "Ravin, wasn't it?"

Airi leaned closer to Armand and searched his eyes as he wiped the tears from her eyes. "I heard that she gathers knowledge. She must be quite the intelligent one."

His touch served to soothe her even more. Airi leaned into his kiss, thinking of the time they spent. Nights hunting, days talking. Maybe even more than what Ravin and Armand had spent in general. Armand was centuries younger than her, but he was one youngling who had seemed to understand the hunt despite his lack of experience.

Airi remembered when he was born fresh and new to the world as a vampire.

"Only something to toy with?" she wondered aloud. "It does start that way, doesn't it? Then it becomes love... And I see that love for your mortal burning in your eyes even now."

It wasn't an accusation, but with the harsh tone she spoke with, it nearly was. Airi swallowed the rest of her words and whispered, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."

Armand's face twisted in confusion and he backed away from Airi not feeling worthy to touch her anymore. He went and sat down on the edge of his bed and covered his face in his hands. He leaned over his legs and looked down at the ground. "Don't be sorry. I understand how you must feel. I once told you that I loved you that I wished to spend the rest of my immortal life with you but I have been unfaithful. I played around with Ravin, I nearly gave Holly the kiss that would bind us for eternity and now I have met Madeline who within only three days time I have become to cherish." He clenched his fists and looked out to the window not daring nor wanting to see the look that must be on Airi's face now. "I don't love Madeline. At least I am not sure that I do. You know how I am Airi. I want to be truthful all the time and only say things if I really one hundred percent believe them. I don't know what to do." He could have nearly cried there but he did not dare. Armand had never cried once in his life.
