Kuroi was going to step in until Cali actual said something that hurt him emotionally, it was an odd feeling but one that made him feel less of a Demon. He walked back over to cali and sat by her said taking her hand gently, "My lady Cali... Your words.... they are so hurtful to me... you don't understand that I am anything but a predator like my predecessor's... I have always lived as being a God hunted... I am weak with a frail body and soul... I am always the prey Cali... I want ot protect me but you just reminded me of how weak I really am..." he said saddened so by her words that a tear even ran down his cheek.
Moonreaper looked over at Kuroi for a moment, "Get a life..." he said as he then began to move towards Voro immediately picking him up from his chair lifting him with ease off the ground so far that his feet could not touch, he then through Voro down onto the floor and placed his foot on his chest.
"Your fight was pathetic... you continue to see yourself as strong when you are weak, you continue to gather strength from enemies you cannot even fathom and here you lay making jokes? I am not perfect by no means but I play with my opponents because I can, I protect those I want to because I can... you are selfish and play when you cannot completely defend yourself let alone others around you.... be careful in the way you choose to fight Voro... Next time you may not be so lucky" he said seemingly disappointed in Voro. He knew Voro was plenty capable to be powerful but he needed more of an instinct for it.
Moonreaper tilted his head towards the window where Maya, Elsa and Baron were fighting and spoke in a whisper, "Ramses... Show the Baron what it means to be undead..." he said as he then walked towards Lavender.
"Things are getting too far out of control, and I know we are being watched, this is starting to get dangerous for not only you but everyone in this building" he warned sounding concerned like something he sensed all of a sudden was making him anxious and worried. He didn't even let Kai follow him as he walked.
Ramses approached Baron, a figure shorter then most knights at 5'6 his body was covered in a bone armor meshed together with glowing blue twine. Behind him were two strange bone creatures built like odd constructs.
"Baron... So nice to see you again, it has been awhile for this old Soul Monger" he said speaking in an old raspy voice. His cold blue eyes staring at Baron.
"Leave this place at once... you know what horrors I am capable of... and being a Demon Knight now makes it just that much worse...." he warned as he held up a small wand with a skull on the end of it and a few feathers hanging from the base of it.

Cali moved and wiped away the tear "You are a predator in your own right Kuroi. And you are not weak." Her voice was soft
She sighed "Try not to break anything."

Kuroi smiled at Cali, "You see my as someone strong, an illusion I have to admit... But it is easier to show you rather then tell you"he said as he moved his head close to hers placing his forehead gently against hers.
"Take a deep breath and close yours eyes..." he said. He closed his own eyes, the moment Cali closed hers many images would flow into her mind, of the small frightened child watching as Vampires destroyed his home and killed his family while he remained hidden, dealing with an evil deep inside him while trying to control his powers. Running from predator after predator starting with Jewel, his older brother, Ramses Generals and many many others. The last image you could see Moonreaper walk up to him still as a small child and make a threat against him that they would come for him. You watch as his body changes to his current adult form before Otaris and others came in to take him. They fought for 3 days and 3 nights to bring Kuroi down but they did so and forced him into becoming a Demon Knight. You could now see he was no man among the Knights, he was taken still as a child manipulating the age of his own life to make it appear like someone he was not.
In every scenario when he was brought close to death he was always rescued by another person whether it was his mother, guardians or just a bystander... all except when the Knights knocked on his door.

She kept her eyes closed, but a small tear spilled past them, leaving a pinkish trail in is wake. She moved keeping her hand against his cheek watching every image he shared with her. When he finished, her eyes opened slightly "You are stronger than you think. I have never truly protected myself, mother fought for me, Mark and Nina died trying to keep me safe, when I first came here my Aunt kept me behind her when Mother's Cousin grew out of hand and started to attack us." She closed her eyes again"I may seem strong, but I fight myself, I fight this part of me. This evil, the demon. Fleeing from anything that could start it again." Her hands rested against his chest held onto his cloths "You are strong in your own way."
Mark looked at Cali, reminded of the day they died. Forcing the young girl into a small closet, Nina and himself trying to fight of the hunters that killed them, slowly dying hearing Cali screaming. He looked down hiding a tear that fell from his eye landing with a soft 'plop' on his hand
She looked over at Kuroi and Cali "She will not see you any other way. You do not run from the part of her she fears the most, you openly offered yourself to her knowing that you would be the only blood sorce her body could take. You keep her safe, you drive away nightmares. You are strong to her in a way no one else could fill Kuroi. Physical strength is something that she has been surronded by all her life, what she needs is someone to give her the emotional strength she needs." Her voice was completely normal, empty of everything as always

Kuroi looked over at Lavender then slightly away, "I know the irony in it, but it bothers me that I am such an open book to you... you have access to knowledge about me that no one else does.... I should feel intimidated but you do not strike me as the blackmailing type..." he said with a smile as he turned to Cali.
"You truly do see me as some great person who has the strength to push you through anything? I willingly gave you my blood for several reasons... revealing myself to you makes me feel better that someone knows the truth and you are like the younger sister I never had... you fill me with compassion and pride Cali..."

She smiled at Kuroi a little "I do not blackmail people, and I only know as much as I am willing to rememeber."
Cali nodded slightly "Strength is something anyone can have, or obtain." She moves touching his cheek with one hand the other still holding onto his shirt "But emotional strength is something that a person is born with, something that can not be truly taught or truly learned. I am glad to be able to do those things for you." She dropped her gaze looking at the floor "Your the only person other than my parents and brother, who could fight me, who did not seem shocked or scared of me like this. A child completely consumed by blood lust, and a twisted nature." Her voice grew softer and softer
Mark looked up at Cali and sighed softly looking at his Mother who seemed to be caught in a painful memory.
She bit her lip her fangs sinking in drawing blood, remembering the day that Cali's bloodlust fully kicked in. Cali and Mark were no more than a year, both were up and walking on their own talking in complete sentances from the time they were six months, both of their powers growing. Cali had wondered away from Mark and had bitten one of the servants in the house and her personality completely changed, only wanting the young woman by her side, her eyes being red instead of blue, attacking anyone who tried to touch her. Most of the house stayed away from her till a week later when the servant was found dead her body completely drained. "In a house full of vampires, she was called a demon. The house hide from her, all except her father, mark, me and Ivan. After she was able to control her lust for blood she started to abstaine longer and longer from it, but she starting killing by accident more and more the longer she went. She manged a century I believe one time. The last time she abstained she lasted for a half a millenia, when she broke it she tried to kill herself. With you here Kuroi she does not feel like she is a demon, that she is a freak for what she is. Nothing Mark or me could say could change that feeling in her." Her voice actually sounded hurt, that Kuroi could do for her child something she couldn't

Elsa quirked her eyebrow, "He's gone, you blind idiot." She floated down next to Maya. "Took you long enough."
Maya did not answer. She was breathing deep and balling her hands into a fist.
"Hello? Anyone home?" Elsa said waving her hand in front of Maya's face.
"He touched me! He - He - he pretty much molested me!" Maya burst out, pointing at where Baron disappeared. "I feel so dirty!"
Elsa stared at her and snorted, "Get over it. You need to lose your virginity some time."
Maya turned beet red, "Elsa! That - that is not proper! And - Ho - how can you say that!"
"What? I lost mine a few hours after I was born - mind you, I was born an adult. Thank heavens for that."
Maya gaped speechlessly at her.

Voro groweld. "Im not weak, he simply had a card up his sleeve and i needed it to be revealed." He said easily pushing Moonreaper off of him. He stood up, dusting himself off. Returning to his chair.

Moonreaper became more arrogant as Voro tried to push him off of himself. He quickly applied more pressure directly over his chest making it harder to breath, he only kept it there for a moment before removing himself completely but still warned, "Do not tempt me Voro, If you want to be challenge me then make sure you can back up your arrogance... You waited for him to reveal the card up his sleeve? Why not simply kill him before he can gain the chance to use it in the first place... You are in the middle of a war now that you cannot possibly comprehend and you fight nothing but weaklings and fools that we don't even bother with... You killed and took power from Blaze a creature that can easily handle a thousand of you at once" he stating fact after fact being arrogant and unkind in his threats and warnings.
Ramses stood still for a moment and then began to walk away sluggishly, "I am getting too slow in my old age..." he muttered as he walked away.
((Damn didn't read the alst 2 lines of that post))
Kuroi hugged Cali, "Your words are thoughtful and even inspiring, but such knowledge is already readily available to me, but your gesture does not go unappreciated... Your mother talks of herself being a Demon within her household... but I know as well as I do what creatures were often used to feed her and her family within that house for generations" he said as he looked upon Lavender with eyes that were angry but yet understanding as well.
"You will never let that go will you..." Jewel commented as she applied make up, "We aren't really that cruel remember when you first joined the Knights? I may eat smaller children like you once were but Keesha devoured you whole a few times when you fell asleep" she commente with a gingery smile.
"Witch!" he replied with a sly but loud comment as well as look of disgust at Jewel. He clearly didn't like Vampires but Jewel's comments got to him even more.

She looked at Kuroi "I only tasted Elf blood once, and that was off the lips of Cali's Father. I never bit an Elf, I found them too fascinating to kill one. Sleeping with one was a totally different story though, that was a very fun night." She glanced at Jewel "Most Elves blame us for their racial decline because they were hunted so much." She moves closing her eyes "I would rather eat a child again than have Elf blood in me."
Cali kept her head against his chest "I lost control with them, Mother was never the Demon inside the house. She would do nothing but bend to Grandfather's will when in the house, I was the demon then. Thats why Grandfather wants us back as well, he likes when I loose control, he says I am more like him and my Father then." Her voice was soft
Mark glanced at his sister and Kuroi "Elves were her favorite when we were young. Elves were at the top of my list as well, but I have sense lost a taste for them. In the end her and myself accounted for most of the Elven deaths within our family's walls, and for that I am sorry." He actually stood and gave Kuroi a low sweeping bow, something he rarely did because he rarely said sorry for anything

He wanted so much to counter back, but his anger rose quicky and he needed to stay calm. He simply sat and tunred his attention to Maya who had returned to the mansion.

Elsa slanted to gaze at Ramses, "No, kidding grandpa."
"Elsa!" Maya snapped. "That isn't very nice."
"When have I ever been nice?"
Maya turned from her and jumped back up into the room, Elsa gliding in after her, "I will not answer that."
She dusted her top and loin cloth skirt free of dust. "I need a bath...." she mumbled.
"And I need to be corporeal," Elsa hissed. "It's been a year since I came out!"
"Thank the gods for that..."

Moonreaper immediately turned around and moved back to Voro and gave him a hard kick to his liver, "Don't keep your mind so open BOY! You want to retaliate? You want to take me on? You have a long way to go before you can challenge me..." he said as he drew his weapon and then jammed it into the ground, "You want to take me on? Take my weapon wield it's power if you can even hold it properly.." he said wanting Voro to pick it up, wanting him to try and use it's magic and power. He smiled knowing what would happen if he dared to take hold of the weapon containing his brothers soul as well as the soul of hundreds of thousands of different souls.
Kai moved in front of Moonreaper, "Moonreaper... Please my lord do not take your anger out on Voro, his mind cannot possibly handle your weapon pick it back up..." he said then turned to Voro, "Don't think anything stupid do not touch his weapon, the power within that blade will consume your mind it is not strong enough to bear the burden of that many souls at once" he said with his hands full trying to hold back Moonreaper.
Kuroi looked at Lavender, Cali and Mark, "I don't care if you have had one elf, no elves or all of the elves that I know and loved... The fact of the matter is that I fear your kind, I have killed many myself, it is instinctual with your kind but the very first Vampire I killed left me in a pit of despair... And now I am a Demon Knight, one command and I am forced to deal, I do not want to take another life, not with what I am... my purpose was to watch over life, not give and take it at will..." he said now becoming caught up in his emotinos.
