Kale just sat there, unaffected by the light. He didn't even seem to notice it.

Cayden looked at Kale as his body started to shimmer. He looked at his own skin as it took on the same effect. He stood and took his shirt off, examining his body once before putting it back on. He climbed the tree Kale was in a sat on the same branch, but it was wide enough to put space between them - it was obvious Kale hated Cayden, but Cayden couldn't help feeling respect for him, and wanted to be just like him. Cayden watched him, groping for something to say.

shou was finished examining the place, it was big enough, but possibly it was too big, he walked the hallways seing a few vampires, but he didnt see the ones he wanted to see "wheres kale... and kaida..." shou went off looking for talon, after a few minutes he saw talon minding his own business on the couch "hey talon! do you know where kale is? i need to talk to him"

Kaida overheard Shou. "Kale is gone right now. What do you want?" She aked.

Talon just sat on the couch, intently watching the doors. A few other vampires were shifting uncomfortably of what they knew would come, as they stood in the halls.
Kale didn't move, he just sat there. He was secretly watching Kaida through her eyes, however, he felt as if he was holding her as he did so. He didn't want to leave her, but it was the only thing he could do. She was safest at the mansion with Talon, he knew Talon would protect her with his life. But he couldn't help but want to go back, knowing he couldn't without putting everyone there on the punishment as well.
Then he felt the branch move as Cayden sat on it, a good space away from him. "What do you want boy?" he stated, sighing, leaving his mates presence.

shou looked over at kaida "umm...i need to apologize to him... and to you" shou bows at her in a kind manner "please forgive me!" he said to her

Kaida cocked her head. "Apologize for what?" She asked, not feeling his presence.
Cayden knew he was probably mad. sighing, he just said innocently, "I just wanted someone to sit by me...to know someone was there..." he kept his gaze downcast though. he turned, ready to leap off the tree. He felt the burden of everything on his shoulders, and he couldn't shake it off. As much as he thought of Kaida as a mom, Kale was her mate - so he thought of Kale as the manly figure in the relationship; the dad. He said nothing to kale about this though, not sure how Kale felt toward him.

"uh..." shou stared at kaida, she was pretty much ignoring him, he didnt want to keep talking to her, but he had to forgive himself "im sorry for attacking you and your family... and for causing anything between you and kale's relationship" shou stood up straight and kept looking at kaida "now... where kale?"

"Kale will not return until a matter is solved." Talon suddenly stated. "I would suggest you leave the lady alone and do not mention Kale again until he returns."
"In this life boy, it's no better than what you've lived with before you met us. Vampires live alone most of the time. Only two to three vampires are usually together. The mansion is a home for many vampires, one of the biggest clans of vampires. Though in this life, you don't really feel alone unless you have someone, then and only then is when being alone really a burden." Kale stated, looking at him, starring at him.

"oh, okay then..." shou left kaida, and went to the door looking outside "huh..." shou felt alone now, but it was probably better that way

"Oh." Cayden said, feeling truly alone now. he had no one though, so maybe that feeling would go away. He felt his eyes on his back, so he turned and met his gaze, his eyes a perfect match of kale's.

Cayden looked at him. "Because..." He said. "She asked me to help her with something, then got to know me. I said that I had no parents, so she hugged me...and then; darkness." He said.

Kale smirked and closed his eyes again. "Kids are too simple to bait. Never knows if there is danger and don't even listen to what they've been taught. Sad really, for them anyway, such simple easy targets, easy to manipulate too." he stated out loud.
