Kesshou looked back at Virgil and blinked. "We're working on it slowly. First we need to know what IO found out from the three. It's something that I didn't get from the uploaded data." She spoke very quietly and then looked back at Gar before looking to Kai.

Tim strained a bit noticing very quickly that this newer voice was one he recognized.
".....he's right, we have enough on all our plates without arguing with each other right now. I'm glad you guys made it out, Kai. Many of us are tired and overworked, it sounds like you three are as well..-"
He hoped someone could stop him before he continued with this, since he had already expressed his point..
(If you don't notice before I point this out, Jack, the post at the Watchtower has a little added to the front of this, since Robin is talking to Batman)

 Songbird lightly tapped Static's shoulder, smiling at the youth, "You just reminded me of a friend of mine. Her name's Hallie. She was always getting the rest of us to do the right thing... and thank you. It's just in this crazy world merge... There's only two Thunderbolts left: myself and Penance. I'm Songbird, by the way." Melissa extends a hand. Oracle nodded thoughtfully, "From what I've been hearing, if you don't feel up to it Red Cardinal -- get your rest or at least as much as possible. Although, we're going to need as much information on your parents considering .... we'll be running into them. There is something that's troubling me though.... Did your ... escape seem almost too easy? I've been looking at the I.O. data on this end, I can't imagine that they would have simply given up trying to hunt you down. Las Vegas isn't so far from that base -- forty-five minutes tops by car and not that far from Area 51. Are you sure that you weren't tailed?"Nightshade took a couple of steps closer to listen to this answer and gave a meaningful look toward Apex to see if the mercenary was thinking the same thing....

Kai got sat up on the bed and looked to the door while still holding the communicator.
"No, I don't believe so. They could have put a tracer on us and wait to see where we'd go... but I think if we ended up heading to the space station they couldn't reach us there no matter what. We would have the tech to find such a tracer... And I think, it was too easy. So that may be the reasoning."
Gar looked towards Kessh and then back to Kai.
"Sorry, and they may be waiting for you to head to one of our bases. That's the right move Kai, deciding to head to the station first. Do you remember being considered for JLA in our world?"
"Yes, I wasn't ready, so I said no."
"You can help more than you think Kai, even without your powers I know you can still kick a**- and your intelligence and stealth are top notch. I understand if you still don't want to go to this mission but when we are sure that you are clear of tracers and such, Oracle could use your help here, or you could help at the Cave."
"I could... I'll do that. And about my parents. My mother is a black belt, but her strength isn't in fighting it is in creating chemicals that affect the mind and body. They are carried in her coat, and several of them can be absorbed through skin, breathing, and if she is close enough injected right into the blood stream. Stuff that paralyzes, shuts down certain organs, or causes mania, emotional tampering, etc. Find yourselves suddenly feeling unable to hurt anything,timid, scared or overwhelmingly sad it is her chemicals in the air playing tricks on the mind. My father, he makes weapons. Electrical weapons, powerful tazers, shockers, and a electrical neutralizer. He is specially ready to fight while my mom sets the mood. They also had a meta-human who could scramble brain waves, cause major headaches, fly, and was a tough fighter as well. I'm sure if he tried he could cause permanent brain trauma. Other than that, IO had a lot of power neutralizing tools and weapons as well as anything that would be lethal to a normal human used in combat." Kai wondered if this Static knew her, another person she recognized that might not recognize her. But all the same having people who's powers she knew made her feel closer to home. She now waited for all their opinions on her long rant about IO. Hopefully they wouldn't underestimate these people.

Kesshou tilted her head slightly at the screen. "Well I'm an electrical sponge, as well as having the ability to discharge it. I never saw any of the weapons there in use while I was searching the complex, but I'm sure there's more to the place than I even know. Most likely there are more things they haven't put in the reports yet."
She looked to Gar. She was more worried about her friends getting hurt than anything. "I could always take control of their network ad keep them from being able to communicate through or utilize wireless control over weapons and other non-manual items. Unfortunately the main generator is way too big for me to take out alone, even with a second hit. Not to mention the first electrical beast I made was too much for me." She spoke to the group as she watched him.

"My parents are one of a kind in IO. And they were not fighting at all while I was there. But they would to keep me there a second time. Kane Rocknell specialized in splicing animals and creating deadly mutant high-breds that are completely obedient to him. He was taken out by Arell..."
Gar wanted to input something about maybe that was the person she had lost but kept it to himself to not upset Kai. Her distant look after that comment was all the proof he needed to know that she was missing that person.

"......... Batman is agreeing that it might be best for you three to stay in Nevada overnight, as well."
That was a pretty heavy deciding factor, in Robin's mind. Bruce was back (right?) and he had jumped right in. Maybe they'd find this situation easier to organize because of it.

"We almost have everyone here or online, so I'll be starting my briefing as soon as a few people are back from the store. Hey Cyclops, when are they coming back?" Barbara turned her head behind her to glance at the X-Men leader.

Scott looked to the door and back to her.
"How much food were they buying. If it's for the whole group I'm thinking, at least an hour. While everyone is here we might as well get the meeting started. That or we can spend the time asking Cardinal what is up with IO."
Kai looked away tiredly still holding her communicator.
"How bout over with, Im just very tired from it all really."

Virgil fell back into reality. He releases a deep sigh, "I say we start the conference. The longer we wait, we risk more death." Virgil stared intently waiting on a response.

 Oracle took a deep breath and launched her full discussion on I.O. -- bringing up pictures of noted personnel and equipment as she discusses them, "As I've already stated, International Operations has grabbed up one hundred and forty-six teens from across the country in order to resurrect the Genesis Project that had been previously shelved over twenty years ago. This current and most ambitious incarnation of this mutant eugenics program would be 'Gen 13.'
"The goal of Project Genesis is to produce powerful mutant operatives for government use in military and espionage operations -- referring to these forced recruits as 'assets.' I.O. treats these kids as little more than cattle to be used and disposed of as they see fit.
"The director of Project Genesis is a ruthless woman named Ivana Baiul. Ms. Baiul is an ambitious operative turned bureaucrat. Her file indicates that Ms. Baiul is a trained scientist as she is also a well noted operative for I.O. over the years. It is also noted in her file about her callous and sadistic nature, willing to use any means to get what she wants.
"Her second in command, Threshold, aka Matthew Callahan, is who you encountered directly in a fight, RC. Threshold is powerful telepath and telekinetic who's psychological examination seemed to indicate that he is 'a paranoid sociopath with delusions of grandeur.' Threshold is as brilliant and just about as sadistic as the Joker. In this operation, it is imperative that both Ms. Baiul and Threshold be captured.
"As far as Drs. Summers, RC already explained in detail what to expect from those two. Both doctors were personally recruited by Ms. Baiul for the resurrected Genesis to improve I.O.'s chances of success with manipulating the mutant genome. This doctor couple has already succeeded in cloning ... Starfire. The files indicate that they are raising this clone as their own child and training her in advanced combat techniques. Also, I.O. started to create human-tamarian hybrids in one of the lower levels of the base.
"Also of grave concern is that the former second of command of Stonewall is now working directly for I.O. This man is Jimmy Zorn, one of the architects of the 'agent conditioning program' used to brainwash people into becoming ruthless assassins with no qualms in killing or obeying orders without question. It... frightens me what kind of damage this man could do, if he gets a chance to implement his program on these kids.
"The Phoenix Base itself is maned by almost three thousand personnel -- mostly technicians and support staff. There is an elite cadre of former military personnel used by I.O. -- from soldiers recruited from Special Forces to combat pilots for jets and helicopters. This base is equipped with thirty-six Super Hornet jet fighters, twenty-four Blackhawk helicopters, ten experimental hovertanks, over a hundred powered armor suits, and a like number of robots taken and rebuilt from Brother Blood based on Cyborg's technology. Those of you who are not familiar, I can provide further information and specs on any of the equipment listed.
"Also of note especially for our resident Green Lantern up in the Watchtower, there is a piece of alien technology in deep storage that I.O. hasn't even tinkered with. This object appears to be a cryo-coffin with an unknown creature inside. From what I.O. has already figured out, this creature is the basis of a bioweapon cloned from this original creature. This 'Angel of Wrath' was targeted for destruction by an alien race known as Sh'iar -- who seem to be afraid of this creature whatever 'it' actually is.
"Any questions so far?"

Kesshou looked up, a look of fear on her face. "The Sh'iar are a most powerful race from our world. Although the best one to ask of them would be Professor X. If they could not contain this creature and were planning on destroying it while it slumbered, then it must be something that none of us would wish to see. If I.O. releases it, we most likely won't have an I.O., or the children of which they have captured, to worry about any longer."
She said that last part in a tone that said 'this is bad'. She wasn't looking forward to having to fight some over powered creature that made all of Sh'iar quake in their boots.

Scott glared towards the doorway in thought before turning to speak back to Oracle.
"We need to act now if this is the case. Those kids are in trouble and I'd rather not sit around. Do it without disrupting IO, somehow get around all these obstacles and do what it takes to save their lives."
Garfield watched the screen intently as the information that Bab's presented was flashed in front of them. He looked to Scott and then back to Oracle.
"The children's safety should be our number one concern despite the kind of weapons and other programs the place is running."
Kai didn't say a word. She thought over what Oracle had said and was only able to collect some of the information via her tiny monitor on her communicator but pretty much got what Oracle was saying. "They are raising another kid..." She thought to herself.
Scott walked over to the others eager to get in his X-suit for the next mission.
"So then we all agree then that the children come first. After the kids are saved we should worry about both their weapons tech, and officers."
"Ivana and Threshold need to be captured. If there is a chance that there is clones of our friend Starfire, we should capture her and see if she could change to our side, as well as capture the Summers."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Grayson walked up and took up a spot next to Brenda near the computer standing up.
"Hey Oracle. I was just thinking about you guys and mission stuff so I decided to head downstairs here."
Crystal walked into view and up the the computer as well. "Hey Brenda. Hi Babs." She looked at the screen and pulled her tablet out, pressing a button on the side of it. The tablet connected to the BatWave and she started looking through the files that were sent in by Barbara.
"Doesn't look like any of this will be easy..." She spoke as she continued flipping through the information. "So what's the plan?"
