 Reaching out to shake Kayla's hand, Alexander surpressed a grin. Cassadaine was beginning to twitch...which only meant it was a matter of time before she lashed out at him...again.
"A pleasure to meet you Kayla." He said drawing back his hand before looking at Adira. His eyes widened as he studied the pokemon before he looked back at Kayla. "Is that...a cranidos?" To be honest he'd heard stories about the pokemon but he'd never truly seen one up close...and he wasn't exactly sure he'd be able to again. At least...not while the pokemon was alive.
Cassadaine's forced smile was slowly shrinking as she saw her brother settle his gaze on Adira. She knew she didn't have to worry about the pokemon since there were other people around and she knew he wasn't that stupid to try and steal something that powerful without the rest of his companions.
That didn't stop her disgust from growing however. How dare he just pop up here and pretend like everything was just fine and dandy? He was a rocket for crying out loud! A flithy, good for nothing, rocket! Growling Cassadaine rose from her seat, dusting off her jacket and bag. "I think...I'll be heading in now." she said lightly holding out her hand for Astrel to scurrying onto her arm. Once the pokemon was settled she shot another dirty look at her brother before giving Kayla a slightly apologetic smile.
"I'll be seeing you tomorrow then." She said starting off toward the hotel, "I'm on the second floor room 4B if you need me." She called over her shoulder. Oh how she knew it was rude to leave like that, and she would apologize in the morning but right now...right now she needed to get away from Alexander before she lost it.

Duelist of Pokemon "HEY!" Jen stood and gave Zen a light shove. Grinning at her friend, she did a light spin in place before flopping down into a plush armchair set nearby.
"So....What's up? Where have you been for the last few days?" Cocking her head slightly, Jen reached out and gently nudged Armageddon in the side with her toe. "You break into the contest hall again?"
"Vaporeon!" Demyx scowled/pouted at the unfriendly Houndour before blowing a razzberry at him in a childish manner. Zen fell back into a plush armchair as well, helped along by Jen's push.
"Oh, nothing much, really." The brown haired youth nonchalantly stated, waving his hand.
"Well...I kinda got caught for that, actually. That's why I wasn't here in the morning to greet you guys. Pretty heft fine too." He said nervously, awaiting one of Jen's thrashing/beatings.
"Ab." Armageddon growled, scratching Jen's toe before returning to curling up at the base of Zen's chair, and shooting Jen a glare.
"Dour." Axel rolled his eyes like one would at an immature child. "Houndour, dour." He mocked, bopping the Vaporeon on the head.

He seemed to have frightened the poor girl somehow, she seemed as nervous as he did the first time he ever was out on his own.
“No no, it's ok, really. I'm just rather new to this whole trainer thing and was reading about it. I actually don't even have a poke'mon yet...”
He shook his head slightly in embarrassment before continuing.
“Anyway, nice to meet you Riza, and don't feel bad. The trip has really taken it out of a lot of us. I slept through nearly all of the first day, it takes time getting used to this. We're in Motterossa right now, actually, resting and getting a new wagon because-”
and as he continued speaking, he pulled himself half out of the wagon to point at the very, very damaged first one.
“we were under attack earlier, and the first wagon got charred pretty badly. I think they're going to get a replacement for it here.”
He pulled himself out the rest of the way, settling onto the edge of the wagon, sitting with his legs hanging off again. He put the lantern down next to him as he reached behind for his bag, pulling out some food he had bought earlier. He unwrapped a package and offered her a rice ball.
“Hungry?”

Wiggling the bare toe at the Absol and sticking out her tounge, Jen "humphed" and tossed a pillow at Zen. "Serves you right too! But...I guess I can be nice and lend ya some cash to repay the debt." Shrugging, Jen shifted so she lounged instead of sitting properly in the chair. Much more comfy this way.
"How much was repairs?" Scratching her cheek, Jen pondered something else before an evil grin spread across her face. "OH! And just so ya know! I plan on fishing you outta bed BRIGHT AND EARLY tomorrow!" She winked and did the peace sign before laughing. Okay....she wasn't that mean, but it was a good form of revenge, no?
Demyx scowled at Axel, head fins flattening against his head as light growls came forth from his throat. "VA! PORPOR! VAPOREON!"
"Uh....Zen? I think Axel might wanna ease off on the insults just a wee bit, 'kay?"

Samantha smiled apologetically to the other trainer, scratching the back of her neck. "Sorry about him, he's a little...Yeah we decided to camp outside since Hellfire doesn't exactly like being indoors." She patted her Houndoom on the head and walked up to the trainer, leaning down to get a better look. "I'm Samantha, what's your name?"
Naruto tilted his head and let his tongue roll out in a silly-stupid grin. 'I like Ramen but my stupid trainer forgot the stash! Know where i can get some?'
Hellfire padded over to sit by her nine-tailed friend and nipped his neck. "Naruto. You shouldn't be bothering other like this.' she reprimanded him gently.

 Kai nodded her head slightly at the other female, accepting her apology. "It's fine, I know how pokémon can wander," she eyed her now snoozing mareep as she let out small bleets every now and again.
She held out her gauntlet covered right hand towards Samantha, "The name's Kailana."
"(Oh, ramen, I see then.)" He watched as Hellfire came over and nipped at the ninetails, closing his eyes as if to pay no mind. "(No, I'm not entirely sure where a place like that would be; but I know for sure I don't have one in my bag...)" He peeked an eye open, giving a small welcoming nod to the female.

She breathed a sigh of relief. Guess he was like her! Except for the fact he knew where they were.
"Really? I don't have one either! A Pokemon that is..."
She listened intently, wondering where Montterossa was on the map, then blinked several times when he explained why the wagon was so messed up, "An attack?! And I SLEPT through it?! Aww man....that sucks...." she sunk back into a saddened state, but was flung back into her previous upbeat-ness at the mention of food.
"Erm....is it ok? I mean, I don't want to take something that you were saving! Besides, I'm not THAT hungry!" she smiled to reinforce her confidence, but a loud growl from her stomach proved otherwise.

"I'd tell you Jen, but I don;t want you having a heart attack. And no, you're not forking any cash over, ya hear?" Zen stonily said, tossing the pillow back at the female.
"Oh, I hate you." Zen smirked, tossing a smaller pillow at her face.
"And I'd like to see you try. I'll bet I wake up earlier than you." He taunted.
"Oh, right. Axel, down boy."
"Houndour! Dour!" Axel barked, hackles raising, and claws unsheathed. This little runt was challenging him.
"Axel. I said heel." Zen threatened, pulling a spritz bottle out from the small backpack he carried everywhere. The Houndour obeyed instantaneously, and went to Zen's side.
"Now play nice."

 Kayla dropped her hand into her lap when Alexander when he stared at Adira with intensity. She did not like the way he was looking at her pokemon.
Adira felt the same way and started to growl, raising her hackles in warning. She placed herself slightly closer to Kayla and took a step foward as if protecting her trainer.
Kayla was wondering how could the siblings could be so different. Cassadaine was as sweet as can be while her brother...she felt very uneasy with him.
Suddenly, Kayla saw that Cassadaine stood up abruptly and said she was going. "Oh. So soon?" Her eyes were worried and glancing back at Cassadaine's brother before returning Cassadaine's gaze. "Well alright then. Have a good night." With that she went inside the hotel, leaving her with the awkwardness of Cassadaine's older brother.
There was an awkwardness alright. So much that Kayla couldn't take it anymore either. "Well, uh, I think I will be going as well. I'll see you, I suppose. Come on Adira." With that she waved slightly and walked into the hotel as well.
When they went inside, Kayla sighed in relief a bit and Adira relaxed just a tad.
That was really weird. Kayla thought. Maybe Kayla could ask Cassadaine what was going on in the morning or when they had a moment alone.

"Nice to meetcha, Kai." She plopped down on her knees and shook Kai's hand. "You don't mind if i call you Kai, do ya?" she asked cheerfully. "How do you like the trip so far?"
Hellfire smiled. 'Good to see you too, Isamu. Hope the trip's been kind to you.' she said gently before ramming Naruto with her head. 'Will you stop being a baby?'
He had been letting out a whimper but stopped as he was headbutted. 'Oh, fine. I'll just wither away and starve to death...' he said dramatically...over dramatically.

He laughed openly as her stomach protested. Pressing his hand closer to her.
“It's more than alright, besides, it's not like it's the last one in Zatao. Or even in the pack, for that matter.”
He held up the wrapping, showing that there was indeed more.
“And there's a wagon or two full of food, not to mention the extra they stored on this one.”
He pulled out one himself, taking a bite happily. It gave him a moment to keep up his social courage before continuing.
“Yea, there have been two attacks so far, already. And don't feel bad about not having one, there will be a chance for us both.”
He felt a little nervous still, a bit awkward when it came to his own handicap. He didn't feel like much of a trainer yet, but most of the people here made good company, and now he'd met two others that were new like him. Though they honestly probably knew more than he did about the whole thing.

Her eye narrowed slightly, "Yes...I suppose Kai will be fine, Sam. ...But don't get too comfy, I don't make friends." Kai scoffed lightly, "My trip? My wagon's full of shrieking girls wondering when the hell we're leaving and stopping every five minutes." She scowled as the memory from this afternoon floated around in her mind, "And then there's a sassy one.."
Isamu gave a small smile, hearing her speak to him but shaking it off quickly, he didn't want to seem too soft. "(Yes, my trip has been alright. A bit boring without any action though; just no strong opponents around it seems.)" He cocked a brow at the whining male, "(We could...go looking around the town if you'd...like? I mean, anything to keep you from starving.)" He gave a small chuckle.

Kayla walked up to the receptionist desk and checked in. After signing the book, the lady gave Kayla her key and told her that her room was 3C and that if she needed anything that she can use the phone to call room service at any time. All she had to do was press the pound sign.
Thanking the woman, she headed off to her room to get some rest. Adira followed her into the elevator and before they knew it, they reached their floor.
It was a few more minutes before the two reached their room. It was a nice room too. It had a queen size bed, TV, bathroom and a mini-fridge. Kayla already knew that they charge an arm and leg for anything that was taken out of the fridge so she didn't touch it. Kayla rarely book a hotel on their journey but this time was the exception.
"I am going to take a shower Adira. Go on and get comfortable." With that she grabbed her PJs and a towel before heading to the bathroom.

Riceball. It mocked her!
"Um...well...if you're sure...." she took one and bit down, giving it a taste....then she promptly stuffed the whole thing down her throat.
"It's really good!" she squeaked, "Thank you!"
She glanced at the pack, then hesitantly took another, munching on it while he talked.
"Tuu ahkahs?" she said through a mouth full of rice. She quickly swallowed when she realized this wasn't very polite, cleared her throat, and tried again, "Two attacks? Wow....what was it to do that to the wagon?" Riza asked, gesturing towards the in-need-of-repair one.

After 30 minutes, Kayla walked out of the shower with her PJs on and headed for the bed. The shower was very heavenly. It was a while since she had a hot shower. In the last couple weeks, she had been roughing it.
As she dried her hair and brush her teeth, Adira was already at the end of the bed, curled up, already sleeping.
Smiling softly, Kayla turned off the light by the bed and whispered a good night to Adira and her pokemon in their pokeballs. She tucked herself in, making sure she could feel Adira with her feet and closed her eyes. Kayla was asleep in a matter of minutes. Quote: Well I am gonna go to bed. See you tomorrow guys! Night!
