A few questions for everyone. What is the significance of the name you chose for you character(s)? Does the name have any specific meaning? Why did you choose that name? Are you going to make up an alias or title for your character later on in the rp (If they don't have a title already)? Also what would be an alternate name that you would choose for your character?

I chose Hanabira, because it means flower. I chose it because I want Hanabira to be a genjutsu master and have a technique called Wilting Flower and that's what I want her fame name to be!! heart Haven't gotten any farther than that...

Shinichi means "faith" and "one." He's both very faithful to the principles and people he believes in, while being number one at kicking a**. Harada is one of the most common family names in Japan, representing Shinichi's humble beginnings and plain tastes.
Noburo is the butchered form of Noburu, which means "to soar." Hayabusa is the Japanese name for peregrine falcons, which Noburo thinks she is.
Orika means "cage of happiness." She's usually upbeat, a trap maker, and basically takes in the mood of the people around her. That explains why she's always so negative around Shisei, stubborn and stoic around Maya, and blissful around Karite.

Karite means "Reaper" I choose it because it kind of fits the job description. I also choose it to signify the dark side to him. He is always cheerful and care-free accept for the split personality I am trying to implement that don't know if the crew will go for it.
Seiko means Force: While he is a jio he is very weak and very intelligent. He is fast and does not converse with many people. He has a goal. he wants to be a force to be reckoned with. Hence the first puppet master.

Hey! I could have Orika use a war scythe and become the Cheery Reaper, as opposed to the Grim Reaper. ^^

Well, Serena means 'serene' (obviously?) and when said in Japanese it sounds like Selena, which means 'moon'.
There's more to it. I just have odd reasoning.

In Japanese, "Sukotto" translates to "Scott", which is my real name. I had a friend who used to call people by their Japanese names and I really liked the sound of it so I decided to use it for my main character in the best guild in the land!

Rolaen is the name a friend of mine in WoW used for his paladin. So, since I learned so much from that friend about the game, I thought it would be a good tribute to him to use it here.

5huga: Heh. I see. So will Hana also be learning the genjutsu that Kurenai performs? Tree Binding Death I believe. I'd like to see what other flower type jutsu you can come up with in the future. That and how much more you'll develop Hanabira. Ohh, what does Kore mean?
Aznka: Heh. You've put a lot of thought in the name of your characters. I did come across the names of Shinichi and Noburu in my name searches for characters of different stories. The name Orika is new to me though. In the future, once certain requirements are met I'll be using a lot of comparisons with Shisei and cages. Cheery and Grim Reaper gives inspiration for art. You may actually want to think about a scythe in the future. As Orika has the farmer background and Reapers are considered harvesters of souls, maybe you and Karite can work that in as your relationship continues to build.
Karite: Similarly Shisei will be getting a lot comparisons to life and death later on. As for the split personality is it going to be something similar to Seshiro's split personality? If you do develop it maybe Karite should meet my future Npc Kaizen as he's in the beginning stages of a dual personality. Although I was hoping you'd also go over Karite's other name Rufio(sp?) and why that choice, but I guess you're keeping that secret for now. Well it'll be a while for me before I see Seiko, although i have a feeling he and Shisei won't get along. Heh. I'll ask 5huga about Kore then.
Chaotic: lol For some reason I was expecting a longer answer, but that's cool ^_^. Did you make Senritsu out of your image?
Candy of Sun: Moon. So I was not far off before when I described Shisei as the sun and Serena as the moon? Or maybe you described the two that way? Both meanings of the name are fitting for Serena. If there is more to the name I'd like to know. That and your odd reasoning. heh.
McClane: Heh that's cool. A good friend of mine told me and my sibling's name in Japanese and Korean. He also wrote our names out so we could see how it would look. If only i could find the notebook that was in.
Makuta H: An unexpected but delightful answer. That friend of yours must be dear to you. Perhaps you should invite him to the guild. Heh. Maybe he'll use your name as his character.
Semblance: From playing Shin Megami games so much I noticed that about Xyn's name, but wasn't too sure if that was the reason for your choice. That just brought a new allure and chill to your character for me. I'm actually surprised I didn't realize Munin was Odin's bird. I usually pick up on the Mythology stuff, but I guess I'm slacking on the dealings of Odin. Do you know of Yatagarasu? I want to know if that was one of your choice of names when creating Munin.

Kiba means "fang." The reason for this is that he was the son of a samurai and he wants to become a sword master and the sword is sort of like the fang of the samurai. Now that I think about it, that line of thinking is kind of strange, but I had to pick some name. Miyazaki is just an awesome name. No depth there. Still, it atleast has more meaning to it than "Pringles" does. Has everyone heard of how the famed chip brand got its name?

Seiko will be coming in the Spring. He will be a silent aura around the island, unlike Karite. He will change though become more happy with time. Dont know how long but with time he will learn to be more human.
As far as Karite's real name. Tenshi Rufio, Tenshi is Japenese for Angel. I find I like my characters to want to be saviors of everyone...I like making them go insane. So in all aspects no one knows his real name so he is forgotten in that aspect so he is a fallen angel hence Karite(reaper) is where he gets his call sign.
Rufio on the other hand is latin for Redhead. In older times redheads were considered outcast amongst social classes in places as Spain, and other Hispanic places due to having dirty blood so to speak. In Karite's case he was an outcast in his home city of the Wave Country. His main reason for coming to Shima.
As far as the split personality I am trying to work it as a emotional control aspect. Karite is to happy for anybody. To work through his aggression he builds another persona in his mind. A stronger more blood thirsty one. Tenshi Rufio. Resorting back to his original name. Dont know if it is going to work, but I thought it would be kind of cool to have a schizophrenic Shinobi.
Kore is a spin on the female name Cora and is known as a Greek goddess of the underworld. So Kore has a female name and like his partner is a messenger of death. Now that I know that I can play into that a little more. blaugh
