"Shu' the hell up, man. I ain't drunk! Don't go mocking me," Doku complains as he reaches into his layers again.
"Just because I'm half stoned, half tipsy, and a tad exhausted, doesn't mean I'm taking a few jabs at you. With the kind of stuff you've been downing, I figured that you'd at the very least be drunk!" James says with a light laugh as he takes a drink from the jug he had made a home in. Doku glances up at the man before looking down at the ground.
"Well I ain't." He lights the cigarette with the lighter he finally draws out before stowing it again. He takes a long smoke before noticing James being really quiet. He sighs and hands the cigarette to James who gladly takes a puff. "You can keep that little thing. I might as well start out strong." Doku reaches into his layers again and draws out the lighter accompanied by a rather large cigar that is poorly wrapped. James' eyes trail over the item as he continues to smoke the cigarette pinned between his teeth.
"S'at a joint?" James finally asks as Doku lights the poorly rolled cigar. Jeames hears the man chuckle as Doku takes a long drag from the drug.
"That's what's the matter with you guys who live up in the mountains. Don't even know the difference between a joint and a blunt." Doku stows the lighter and then removes the object from his mouth with the same hand. As he does, his other hand with the Methyl in it begins rummaging around inside of his winter coat. "This right here is a blunt. Just cause of the sheer size of this bad boy, you can tell that it's a blunt. A joint is a lot smaller." He waves the blunt in James' face a little as he lets the smoke slowly pool out of his mouth; a mixture of smoke from the roll and cold breath from the cold air.
"I always get the sizes mixed up but never the smell of Ace when it hits my nostrils. Forget the stick, give me a hit of that right there!" James reaches down to take the blunt from Doku only for the man to pull away.
"Hold on there, James. If you can't tell, there's more to this bad boy than you know. I told ya already that I'm starting out strong. I'm going from the height of my stash to the scraps at the very bottom. You need to stay down at the bottom of my stash with that whiskey and cigarette." Doku soon draws out a very small vile from within his coat as James takes a drink from the whiskey jug he had been hogging.
"Nah, nah. I can handle something a little stronger than this. Lemme have a lower level blunt then?" James finally notices the tiny vile that Doku has taken from his person. James' eyes trail Doku's face as he raises the vile and opens his mouth. "Woah! Hey, hold on! Tiny vials are never your style. What kind of stuff are you about to drink? What is in that blunt you're smoking?" Doku stops and lowers the vial, shutting his mouth in the process. James, despite the two only having met up once before and only IM'ing now and then, got a feel for how Doku's containers work. The smaller the container, the more toxic the contents. As far as his choice in smokes, James couldn't tell. But the vials he knew about. Doku had already mentioned the reason why his battle potions are in small vials, and he said nothing about it being for convenience. He had to be about to drink some serious stuff.
"This?" Doku asks, the blunt sticking out of the side of his mouth. He sets down the Methyl bottle and better adjusts the vial in his hand. With his free hand, he pulls the blunt from his mouth. "This right here is one of my untested concoctions. It's a vile of liquidized Amanita Mushrooms. As their more solid form, Amanita Mushrooms are deadly, but only over time. To hasten the digestion and release of this poisonous mushroom, I made it into a liquid by cooking them with a special technique to dry the mushrooms out and harness the juices from them. I mixed the liquid with some spice from my Flame Poison and a few alcoholic beverages that I favor, and there we have it." James stares at Doku with slight fear in his eyes.
"And the dried mushrooms? You're not smoking them... are you?" He says slowly and with some shakiness to his voice.
"Hell if I ain't! I wasn't about to let them go to waste. Just as a heads up, whenever I smoke larger things than that of the size of a cigarette then it's deadly for you. Unlike your understanding of my containers for liquids. Remember not to confuse those." He raises the vial again only for James' stare to make him uneasy. "What?"
"If you haven't tested it then how do you know you aren't going to keel over at some point?" Doku starts to laugh and James finally thaws. He laughs with Doku, even falling back on the icy rock seat and rolling onto either side.
"What are you my mom?" Doku laughs more before reassuring James, "I just haven't tested it on others, not me. I've only tested smoking this around this real babe of a woman I know. Seems as though the smoke has no effect once it comes out of my mouth. Once I decide to breath, the poison is absorbed by me and neutralized. Or that's my guess since she's still alive after so long. The smoke off of the blunts tip is pretty harmless too." James sits up and blows out the smoke he'd been holding since he smoked the cigarette while rolling on the rock. Doku actually wanted to add in the fact that he was manipulating the smoke just a tad with his Orochi but figured he'd keep that on the hush.
"You're insane. But I don't mind it. Who's this woman? A girl of yours?" James notices Doku fan a hand at him, the liquid Amanita Mushroom vials contents being jostled inside as he does.
"No way. Just this Daimyo with a banging hot body. If I didn't already know that she's not the type to kiss and let you even think to tell, I haven't let her do me up yet. Besides, she has no interest in me since I have nothing for her to take from my corpse once she's done with me." James' eyes grow large as Doku explains this woman to him. "Don't get any funny and overly hyped up from all this crap we're smoking and drinkin ideas. Hayai ain't just some girl that lives down the street. I'm telling you that she'll seriously kill you."
"Sounds like it'd be worthy it if you're mentioning her. She's the only person you ever talk about aside from Aero. How is that kid anyway?"
"Busy," the two both let out a puff of smoke and take a swig of their drinks. "He hasn't tried to fight me in about a year or so. It's kinda annoying since we are in the same organization after all. If he wanted, he could stop by and fight me any time."
"Look at you. Sprung," James jokes as Doku chucks the empty vial at James only for him to catch it with his free hand after shoving the cigarette into his mouth. ☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢

She hisses only to hear someone holler that they heard something coming from a tree. She remains very still and quiet before she hears the same person holler, "Got you!" Her entire body shivers roughly before she notices that the voice isn't even close to her. "Darn. I thought it was her, sorry wife. I will find her just to prove I wasn't gawking. I swear!" She hears the sound of a woman slurring and the man complaining about her throwing rocks at him. Things are silent when she hears a loud thud and the woman expressing that he wasn't hurt and to keep looking. Hayai looks down a few moments later at a man looking around below her tree. "What if she left, dear?" The same voice as before asks from below. So he isn't dead. The man winces and runs off as a woman is soon seen chasing after him. After things get quiet again, the voices going far out of her hearing range, Hayai tries to get down. She stretches a foot down and tries to connect it with a branch only to cringe. She tugs her leg back quickly.
xxxx"This is stupid! I shouldn't be unable to get out of this tree!" Hayai hollers as she sits in the tree. She begins to purr, suddenly feeling the leaves on a nearby branch tickle her back after a nice breeze. "Oh, oh, ah~. Not now. I need to get down." The wind stirs again and a different branch tickles her lower back. She purrs again and eases back and into the path of a number of branches wiggling in the breeze. They begin to tickle her all along her body, making her shiver. She pants a little before getting a hold of herself. She flickers away from the branches and onto a barren branch farther up in the tree. "Enough of that..." With a pause, Hayai realizes that she only managed to get herself more stuck. Why in the world would she flicker higher! The Daimyo scrounges around in her pants that she had yet to put back on before finding a tiny device. She pecks away at the screen and eventually an instant messenger window pops onto the screen. Hayai continues to peck away at the screen and soon a conversation ensues. cheshirebaby: geininx. send help now!!!11!!!1 GeininX: Send help where and why? And just who should I send to help you? cheshirebaby: im in kitsuna and am trapped by villagers. i dont care who you send as long as its someone to help me GeininX: In case you didn't catch my sarcasm, since it's difficult to through chatting like this, I'm commenting on how strong you are. Who would I send to help you as strong as you are? You should be fine on your own. cheshirebaby: i said i dont care who you send. and if i didnt need help then i wouldnt ask im being chased by crazy villagers. and now im ducked out in this tree. stop being annoying GeininX: You're stuck in a tree then? Hello? You ARE stuck in a tree! Are you kidding me? How can a grown woman with your skill set get stuck in a tree?! Ha ha ha ha ha! cheshirebaby: shutup!!!1!!11!! anyone can get stuck in a tree when people are chasing them into one. i just dont remember how to get down because of the heat of the moment send somebody or end the chat!!1! GeininX: I think I'll go with ending the chat. Have fun getting down, feline.
GeininX has left the chat. xxxx"That damn brat!" Hayai yells angrily as she flings the phone away from her. In her rage she hadn't thought of the consequences of throwing the device, but now she would. "Oh hell." She peers through the leaves and branches at her her iPod a good couple of feet away from the tree she is in. Now she couldn't call for reinforcements even if she wanted to. She sits back farther in the tree and scowls at the airspace before her. She was too annoyed with herself to even consider trying to get down again. She would just wait until night fall and hope that the thought of climbing down gets a little less frightening. ▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾ ▿▾

~hidden kitsuna~ Shizaru had a split second to comprehend Rei's angle of approach after she yelled her battle-cry. His reaction was a half-second too slow to avoid her; That, or he didn't want to. Next was a familiar sight to him. Total darkness between two fleshy mountains. Even though it was regular occurence to him, he still blushed deep crimson every time. It didn't bother him as much as it used to though. This caused Rei to think of different things to 'torment' him with. Occasionaly he would get her back as his more mature appearance. As a cub, he was much too lazy and laid-back to play her. Not to say he didn't have fun, he just wasn't active enough to think of something clever to get her back. Soon, Shizaru found his oxygen running out and would squirm to push his way out of her chest orbs. His furry head would pop up from between her breasts to rest beneath her chin. 163 + 172 = 335

~Hidden Kitsuna~ Rei glanced about as she smothered her young companion in the ninth circle of 'Marshmallow Hell' they were well alone which made teasing him a little less fun as it could have been. Shocked stared were the reward Rei sought from pranks. Pretty much any irritation or aggravation from others was a reward for her devious and foxy nature. Him popping out from the fleshy prison brought a grin to Rei's face as she gave him a kiss on the forehead and leaned against the tree relaxing with the cub hugged to her bosom as the cool delightful breeze play across them enticing a sleepy sensibility, encouraging them gently to take a nap. Their luck it was probably a jutsu or something, a thought which dulled Rei's appreciation for it and it lost its magic and she scratched Shizaru's head. "So Shi-chan... What do you want to do?" She asked affectionately fawning over the cute little one she held to her body lovingly. 163 + 210 = 373 Chaos: You put 235 instead of 335 =w=

"How-" "How-" James says at the same time as Doku only to stop talking at the same instant. "What were you going to say?" James asks as Doku turns back to look over the horizon.
"I was just gonna ask if we were going to head inside at some point. Like I said before, I'm freezin here." Doku takes a final drink from the Methyl bottle before it's empty. He peeps into the tiny opening, hoping that something had just lodged itself in the bottle. He was just feeling a hint of vertigo, or so he believed the feeling to be.
"I was just going to ask if you wanted to head down the mountain to the half point." Doku bolts to his feet and nods his head quickly. James figured Doku would desire as much. "Follow me then." James gathers up his things and stands as Doku gathers his many empty bottles from his spot. He trails after James slowly as they make their way down the hidden path on the mountain. Now and then they'd come across obstacles and changes to the path, but they would surpass them and eventually reach The Half Point. Doku stares at the flashy sign above an opening in the mountain with a smirk. Sure the snow is covering the sign, but its brightly colored glow could still faintly be seen by those close enough. The poison drago looks into the now opened doorway of the building as James holds the door open for him to enter. he could that the place is something of a night pub. It has a bar off in the corner, pool tables, a dance area, and some location with a board covered in papers. Doku watches as crowds of people at a time wander over to the board and chatter before grabbing off a sheet of paper and leaving.
"What's that all about" Doku finally asks as he motions inside the building and shuts the door behind him. James, up ahead, glances back at Doku and then over to the board.
"That board over there? That's for village missions. People come and see what kind of news is going down on the board and some people decide to take on the task of doing whatever may be needed. We also use that board for lost people and for people not allowed in this village."
"Just anybody can post something up?" James shakes his head 'no' and Doku's attention is turned to looking over the pool table area. "How about a game just between us? Looks like that table is free." Doku requests soon noticing James staring at the table with a serious look. ☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢

~hidden kitsuna~ Shizaru's eyes were closed, a very content look plastered on his face. His arms were wrapped around her torso and his legs rested on her hips as she held him close to her own body so affectionately. His large eyes would open up slowly as she addressed him "So Shi-Chan.." He loved when she called him that, "What do you want to do?". Those abyssal red hues would meet her beautiful eyes. Then he would yawn wide, almost like a little cub or kit. It would've been so cute! "I dunno Rei. What do you want to do?" He asks rubbing his eyes. 335 + 109 = 444

Rei fawned over his cute antics and snuggled up to him affectionately, "I'm already hugging him..." She said foxily, they wouldn't have sex here but some dirty talk never hurt their relationship, tough younger Shizaru wasn't very good at it, but it was just so cute to watch him try to reciprocate her seductive words with ones of his own. She really just wanted to spend time with him and he wanted to spend time with her, they had been together for a few years but their romance hadn’t died down if only it grew hotter as they learned each other thoroughly though Rei had three times as much to teach her lover due to the Kitsune sisters inside of her, which was Rei had lovingly dubbed the three spirits, it had made Shizaru a little uncomfortable at first to think that the spirits were always watching him as he performed but with Rei’s assurances he slowly began to understand that they were more Rei than Rei was. Meaning since they’d been inside her for as long as she’d been alive they were parts of her personality kind o f like her inner voice, they could tell her what is right and wrong but she didn’t have to care or listen to them. She rarely did listen to her conscience as it was she was far too mischievous to care about anything other than pranks and sly tricks that validated her life. At least until she committed herself to Shizaru, Rei had pretty much stopped her rascal behavior though would resume it if Shizaru had to go on a trip or something, some were unhappy she’d chosen him as a mate but most were all too happy it stopped her incessant mind from torturing them with good humored tricks all day.

Hidden Soul The boat ride had been fairly uneventful. A lot of people went to and from the conglomeration that was known as Hidden Federation, to spend time in one or more of the numerous smaller villages that had consolidated their power for safety. Some of those who made the trek were originally from one of the Federation's villages, others were arriving for the first time. Each undoubtedly had a story, but for many, those stories were not all that interesting. Two of the newest arrivals, however, were more interesting than most. The first looked normal enough, but was in fact almost completely mechanical, an android. Kawari sat in silence near the front of the boat, her sensors casually scanning the immediate area for any threat that might happen to arise. She was well able to defend herself, but the boat was another matter. Due to being almost completely metal, she wasn't really capable of swimming. And spending enough chakra to walk across the water to her destination seemed like such a waste of resources, that it was better by far to be ready to defend the boat should some disaster befall it. The second wasn't properly mechanical, but wasn't really an organic, either. Where Kawari had given off an aura of neutrality, a sense of solitude, this new face seemed to practically radiate held back malice and greed. She didn't seem ready to start any trouble, though, so people just gave her a wide berth. Even though there was nothing overhead, it seemed she sat in the one spot of shade on the whole ferry. This, then, was Noze, come home from the Academy. Her destination was none other than Hidden Soul, or at least the quarter of the village devoted to it's citizens. Neither of the two were talkative, so they passed the time in silence, ignoring the non-combatants all around them as being inconsequential. Eventually, the boat slowed to a stop, and one of the midshipmen jumped onto the pier to tie it in place to the moorings. Then the ramp was lowered, and the passengers began to disembark. It had not been all that lengthy of a voyage, yet even so some of the less experienced seemed to have gained their sea legs to their dismay upon setting foot on dry land. Noze and Kawari were the last of the passengers to disembark, both moving steadily despite the gentle rocking movements of the boat. They were now on the outskirts of Hidden Federation itself, from where they could gain passage to any of it's numerous quarters. Neither paid the other any mind, at least until they realized they were heading to the same destination. For two who had never met, to board a ferry from the same location and arrive at Hidden Federation, only to then go on toward the same quarter? That was a coincidence that simply could not be ignored. As they continued toward Hidden Soul, they eventually began a quiet, guarded conversation. Neither trusted the other, but they still were curious, curious enough to risk talking to each other. Eventually, Noze's greed proved enough to make her reckless, to make her suggest something a bit outrageous. "You seem strong, you should become my follower." "Denied. Our goals are dissimilar, such an alliance would garner no benefits." "I beg to differ, even if you do agree to follow me, I will still allow you to do as you please, to continue following whatever your own goals are." "And if they are at odds with your own?" "Then we shall deal with such an occurrence when it arises. So, will you become my subordinate?" "Denied." "You're stubborn." "So are you." With that settled, or rather, set aside, silence returned as they continued the rest of the trek to the Hidden Soul quarter. It wasn't a particularly long voyage, really just a short time spent walking at a solid pace. Within no more than another half an hour, they were already within Hidden Soul's spaces. It would seem they would part ways there, for surely they could not have come to talk to the same person. But even so, Kawari still followed Noze as she wound her way through dank, unlit alleyways and back streets. Very few lights were used in this particular section of Hidden Soul, the section that had given rise to her kin and their relations. Finally, Noze whirled around to face Kawari, her long hair glinting dangerously while her hat remained unmoved. "Why are you even following me, anyway?!" "I'm considering your offer." "Really? Well... alright then, I shall grant you permission to accompany me." Noze's mood improved a bit at the chance of a possible follower so soon into her journey, and a strong one at that. Things were going better than she had expected! Now she just had to track down the scion of her kind, that withered old one who had seen much evil, and committed even more. She didn't enjoy spending time with them, so she would make things short and sweet. She had come to learn more of the skills and abilities that her kind were known to possess and wield in battle. So she would have the crone tell her what she knew, and then she would be on her way. What could be simpler? [888 words ]

~hidden Kitsuna~ Shizaru nuzzled into Rei as much as possible. "I love you Rei.." He mumbles and hugs her tighter, he had only grown to love her more with the years they had spent together. Ofcourse, that also meant the spirits inside her. That had always bothered Shizaru at first. Always feeling like he was being watched by three other beings, having them watch everything that went on between him and her. It made him feel like he was being judged at first. But now, it no longer bothered him. He accepted it. As he accepted her. They had also taught him so much. "Are we goin' to go home?" He asks, almost excitedly. Kawaii!! Shizaru had not had to lay claim to Rei much. Or defend her. She usually was strong enough to do so herself. But, there had been a few instances. Each one had created a startling, and somewhat fearsome, reaction in Shizaru. Reverting to another form, he had almost destroyed the people that had tried to harm her or take her from him. Not to be mistaken for jealousy. No, Shizaru was just protecting the person he loved more than himself. 444 + 194 = 638

"Love you too Shizaru..." Rei said automatically in response to his affectionate words, they were truly a set of star crossed lovers. She continued to give him the physical attention she usually gave him in public hugging him close and petting him lovingly while he focused on finding an angle where he could start breathing again. He asked if they were going to go home. Home meant lunch which Rei could really go for at the moment. "Sure, I'm hungry enough for it. Just make sure there's enough there for me to feast on..." Rei said releasing Shizaru from the embrace. She released her miniature love and thought back to the few times he'd fought to protect her from those who sought to harm her. Rei was usually more than capable of destroying them but there were a few instances where she was overwhelmed or at least on the defensive where Shizaru stepped in to put a rather violent stop to the situation, his fox form was truly something to admire, but then again so was hers, they'd done a few rather kinky things with those forms too. "I'm starting to feel a little amorous so let's go Shizaru... I'm really craving my lunch now." She said almost impatiently like she wanted to go to another room but there were some people blocking the only doorway.

Hidden Soul It took some time, but eventually Noze managed to track down the crone. The withered old husk of a woman had once had a name, but it had vanished in the darkness of eons past. She was likely the oldest living thing on the planet, yet she still hung to life with tenacious taloned hands. Dealing with her was dangerous in any number of ways. For her age, she seemed to have lost none of her lethality, she was still fully capable of ending one's life in an instant. To make matters worse, she was well and thoroughly insane, demented and unbalanced. To have to deal with her was really an option of last recourse, when there were no other valid options left to her. Noze took some solace in the fact that she was not going alone, that Kawari seemed content to follow her, for the time being. Even if the artificial life didn't see fit to actually aid her should the need arise, her presence was an assistance in and of itself. Noze stood in the middle of a particularly dimly-lit alleyway, looking to the side, past a partially dismantled wall of boards. The missing boards left a space a bit smaller than a door, with plenty of splinters and jagged bits to dissuade anyone from actually trying the opening as such. Yet even then, it was a door. A door to the ramshackle hut that the crone had lived in since time immemorial. She had been here before Hidden Federation had been formed, before any others of her kin had even existed. Before the Great War, possibly before the appearance of the Sage of Six Paths. And yet, through all that time, she had never seized power for herself. And now? Now she had a hut that seemed more a collection of garbage than an actual building. The walls were scavenged boards lashed together with filthy twine and rusted nails, the ceiling was assorted sheets of pitted and stained metal, and the insides? The insides had not been seen by another living being in decades, at the least. Yet the occasional scents and sounds that emerged gave a pretty clear indicator of just what sorts of atrocities were committed there even now. And the crone herself? She was sitting in an old rocking chair that was almost as withered and twisted as she herself was, watching the world through filmy eyes that almost seemed to glow balefully with an eternal malice. She had locked gazes with Noze the instant she ducked under the jagged door, and didn't blink even once. In a voice that resembled nothing so much as nails on a chalkboard, she greeted her young relative. "Well, if it isn't the greedy one? What brings you back to my humble abode?" She cackled as a withered hand reached down next to the rocking chair and petted what could have been an animal in a past life. "Hello, grandmother." Of course, the crone wasn't actually her grandmother, that was just what everyone called her. Or rather, everyone who wanted to stay on her good side. Those others who called her 'hag' or 'crone' or worse? They had a disturbing habit of disappearing. So better to humor her, pay lip service to her wishes. "I have come to discover more of my heritage, to learn more of what my abilities can really do." "So the greedy one thinks it is ready, does it?" The crone seemed to do the impossible, getting off of her chair. It was difficult to tell which was creaking more, the chair or her ancient bones. She hobbled forward, a hand stretched out to Noze, dessicated fingers with yellow talons of fingernails almost seeming to claw at her. Noze fought back a moment of revulsion and forced herself to not step back. The crone of Hidden Soul finally stopped just out of reach, and seemed to stare into her eyes even more intensely than before. "Perhaps it is, perhaps it is..." The crone seemed to consider the possibility for a moment, not once blinking or looking away. Finally, she broke her intangible grip on Noze's gaze, allowing the young avatar of greed to divert her eyes and imperceptibly relax. Only to gasp as a withered hand reached out and grabbed her by the face. The ancient woman's grip was terribly strong, it felt like tempered steel clamped down on her skull. Noze could barely manage a shocked gurgle, her mouth locked shut at the sudden attack. Kawari had remained silent up until this point, but now that things seemed to have taken a turn for the violent, she felt it appropriate to step in. She brought her arms up in a ready stance, but didn't interfere right away, opting for a potentially more peaceful option. "Query: What are you doing? Imperative: Release Noze, at once!" The crone acted as if she hadn't even heard Kawari's forceful command, but when the android stepped closer, she tilted her head to stare her in the eye. "The greedy one has an expensive toy. Don't be alarmed, she'll be just fine after all is said and done. But it will hurt like hell up until then!" At that, the crone cackled, a rising, manic laugh that never seemed to stop for oxygen. At the same moment, her hand erupted in sickly hued flames that seemed to lick at Noze's face, the crackling unable to drown out the scream of phantom pain that tore through Noze's mind. Whatever was happening, it wasn't pleasant in the slightest. What in the world had she let this happen for? She seemed unable to pull away, openly writhing in the flickering glow of the ethereal fire that seemed to sate itself upon something beyond her physical form. She didn't seem to be suffering any physical burns, but that scream left no doubt in Kawari's head that she was suffering all the same. If it didn't stop soon, she would stop it herself. | Hedoro, this is just an explanatory back story. | Hidden Fragment xxxG e i n i n Xxx™ xxx{Morgana} ¶_This_isn't_just_a_game_to_me... XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX xxxx"Gak," GeininX coughs a few times as they lay on their back on the ground. Struggling, gasping for air, the teen opens their mouth up wide to try and pull in what air they can. A girl about the same age as the boy stares wide eyed and worried as GeininX jerks on the ground. He coughs again and draws breath before finally saying something to the female watching him, his hand tightly clutched by hers. "Subaru? Where...?" The teen coughs before shutting their eyes. The female beside him makes motions to shake them only for GeininX to open their eyes slowly. "Am I in Mac Anu?" Subaru nods as GeininX's vision finally comes around. They could see blue skies, of which they hadn't seen in quite a while having been in Net Slum for so long. They can see buildings, but they're far off in the distance where they could really only see them when looking to either side of them. The sound of metal slamming against ground is heard, more than likely the footsteps of Subaru's guard.
xxxx"I thought you... that you might have been..." GeininX looks at Subaru and their face grows gentle. The young female seems to be covering her face, fighting back tears that GeininX wondered whether they'd come or not. The teen sits upward, their entire body racked with pain, and cringes. Subaru watches as GeininX's body flickers in and out of sight. She watches fearfully as GeininX tries to maintain their form, wrapping their arms around them self. Subaru reaches out her arms to embrace GeininX only for her most trusted guard snatches her onto her feet and away from the Morgana.
xxxx"Lady Subaru, you mustn't get so close to that boy. He may have extracted some sort of virus," a figure clad in silver armor warns. The knight holds on tightly to Subaru while not causing her any physical harm. The young female snatches away and points a finger at GeininX. As she speaks, her hand swings lower until pointing at GeininX.
xxxx"Silver Knight, I can pass my own judgment on what may or may not be suitable action to take in regards to GeininX. That boy is in pain and if I cower in fear about something as trivial as a getting a virus then I would never have gotten to be the leader of the Crimson Knights. Do not interfere any further," Subaru states as she and Silver Knight eye each other. It isn't long before GeininX's low chuckle is heard by the two. The teen stands and begins walking toward the two on the gravel road beneath them.
xxxx"Who said I was in pain, huh? Stop talking about me like I'm some weak thing, will ya?" Subaru reaches out a hand to touch GeininX only for her to be frozen in place by the blank stare of the Morgana teen. "Don't follow me. I'm fine now so just leave me alone..." GeininX leans forward, as if about to lose consciousness, only to get a grip and steady them self. They motion onward and passed Subaru and Silver Knight, making their way to the place where he could travel elsewhere. After much effort and walking, GeininX finally manages to make it to the Chaos Gate. "How'd I get here anyway? When did I leave Net Slum? What the heck happened after I received word that Federation was in danger?" GeininX walks nearer to the gate before it activates and transports them to another field.
xxxxGeininX stumbles into an old and abandoned church, falling forward onto the stage area. He gets up again and manages to collapse onto the feet of a statue of a girl, chains wrapped about her body, and loses consciousness. For some reason they just couldn't function. Could there be something wrong with the circuits on the outside? No, then those playing would be flickering much the same as GeininX. Then what? If only they could remember what happened before. | More explanatory back story. | Hidden Fragment “Hey Til, you think they think I'm strong and that's why they just let me leave with GeininX?” A young boy squeaks, sounding much like a mouse. There dark green hair hardly moves from its stiff, spiked style atop his head as he speaks. His orange eyes trailing the path before him. Strapped to his waist is a thick rope connected to a large moving cart. Upon the cart is what appears to be some sort of decrepit machine. A tiny mouse sticks its head out of the hood of Randal's cloak and makes its way to his shoulder to speak to the wild boy. “Cause if they didn't then they totally could have stopped me. So they gotta think I'm strong,” Randal squeaks before Til can say a word.
“Maybe they let you leave with it because they didn't care? It's not like the thing works without GeininX around.” The mouse looks over at the computer as Randal pouts, a bit disappointed with Til's response.
“I'm still a member of Team Konomi and a newbie. So even if that were true, why would they let me leave when only the stronger people are allowed outside of the base? Explain that then, huh?” Randal challenges as he stops. He looks at the mouse before walking along again. The boys posture is odd. One would think that a boy would be fully capable of walking on two feet, though, the boy seems to be walking on all fours. It doesn't seem like a strain and he appears to be more capable of tugging the device along in that position than standing. Randal, like only one or two other peoples from SCM, chooses not to wear shoes on his feet. He would wear them when the time called for it, but for a task like this he gets more traction without shoes one. His toes grip the hardened earth beneath him, his hands in fists on the ground. The mouse seems to sigh before retreating back and into the hood.
“I don't really know why they would let you out. But you seem just the same power level as you did when you joined and are still in Team Konomi, so you can't be that strong, right?” The gray mouse continues to peer at the computer with its red eyes before looking away from it and into the darkness of the hood. “The real question is what happened to GeininX during the time that freak sand downpour came down. By the looks of things, everything looks perfectly fine. Maybe it's just me, but everything seems just too weird.”
“That is not the real question! The real question is why can't you give props when props are due?” Randal asks loudly. He growls a little under his breath, seemingly waiting for the mouse to respond.
“Huh? Props? What are you talking about? What does that even mean?” The mouse asks, honestly confused by what Randal had said. Randal blushes a bit and laughs.
“Oh well, I dunno. I just heard Nimen say it a time or two. Her, that man that reeks of smoke and alcohol, and that silver man say it all the time when it comes to stuck like what you say. I dunno what it means, really. Probably something between humans.”
“Wha? Nimen, Doku, and Sai? Anyway. If it's something between humans then say it to them and leave me out of it. Could be some sort of curse since Nimen is involved. That woman gives off a bad vibe.” the little mouses fur stands on end as it speaks, it eyes shut.
Randal trots along at a nice pace with a big grin. “Yeah, those three. And I doubt it's a curse, Til. Be serious.” Randal pauses, noticing the mouse doesn't make any effort to respond. “Hey Til?” He waits a while before seeming to reveal something to himself. “I got that from Akou. He says it so much that I can copy it and translate it. Thanks to my teacher and his dog friend, I can do that, anyway...” The Betori trails off as the sound of the mouse squeaking in their sleep is heard. It's the same as if he were snoring, but comes out as a squeak to those unaware. “Sweet dreams, Til.” ◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡

| More explanatory back story. | Hidden Fragment xxxG e i n i n Xxx™ xxx{Morgana} ¶_This_isn't_just_a_game_to_me... XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX “It's about time you woke up. You slept forever,” a sarcastic male voice chuckles. Everything goes white and things begin to focus on a wooden church bench with one leg broken off.
xxxx“What? Where am I?” GeininX stands up, their eyes trailing over the bench before looking up and at the statue that he'd passed out on. It's of a girl covered in chains and make of some sort of stone. The Morgana turns to face the status, their eyes beholding the broken holy window behind him. “I'm at the church... that's right. I forgot that I passed out here.” The teen places a hand to their head, feeling a little better than they had before, but still having this odd sense of detachment from The World. “What could be causing this occurrence only for me? It seems like whatever is happening isn't worsening and is gradually getting better, however, I can't function that well like this.” After dusting off their gray, loose fitting pants and better fixing their long scarf around their shoulders, GeininX starts for the exit. He would have to find the Chaos Gate and travel away from here and back to Mac Anu. From there he could wait and see if anyone from the organization would come to return him to Net Slum, unless he tried the other method? As the Genin walks onward, they can't help but truly wonder why they'd chosen this field in the first place.
Did they really believe that they were dying? Did it cross their mind to venture here to pray and seek solace in their last moments? Not that they would admit to it anyway. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Words = ?

| More explanatory back story. | Hidden Fragment Randal sits on the ground much like a dog would and lets his tongue hang out of his mouth. He could finally see Hidden Fragment from the small mountain he rests on the ledge of. He thought he might never reach Fragment with all of the heavy terrain around it. Getting a bit too excited, Randal, shifts to his feet quickly and rushes off. Til is jostled around in his hood until waking up as the sound of GeininX's machine banging against the rough terrain is heard. Still, Randal continues to dash forward. “Randal stop! Why are you running? Is someone after us? GeininX machine is getting all busted up!” The mouse cries as Randal just keeps running. It isn't long before Til screaming the same thing over and over reaches the Betori's ears. He skids to a halt only for the cart to slam into the back of his and send him, Til, and the cart holding the machine tumbling down the sloping side of the mountain that just barely could be classified as that and not a hill. Randal screeches like a monkey as til squeaks loudly, the friends rolling towards another ledge.
“Hold onto something, Til!” Randal yells to the mouse as it latches onto the inside of Randal's hood. “Beasts Semblance: Feline Semblance,” the boy says to himself as his features change slightly. He would take more of a feline posture, his nails even elongating to better latch onto the side of the mountain. As he shifts about to latch onto the mountain and try and slow down to rest on the ledge below, the cart continues to roll forward. Randal reels back his head and slams it into the cart and part of the computer to first make it jerk back before rocking forward. The entire cart would seem to have its speed canceled out and eventually match Randal's slowing speed as the boy and his mouse slow to rest gently on the ledge below. Til begins yelling inaudible things as Randal rubs his head, a gash in it from trying to stop the cart and computer. “Sorry, Til, sorry. I just got too excited,” Randal pleads but the mouse just goes on. ◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡◡
