They searched Doctor K's office intensely. Angelo knew that it had to be somewhere, that there had to be something. He cried out in anguish. Then, he got on the computer, scanning the files for anything suspicious at all. But, the good doctor was too clever to leave plans for his secret hideout lying about his desktop, it would seem. Then, he had an idea. He pulled up the plans for the lab, searching for anyplace that might be drawing even the tiniest hint of extra power. Bingo. "I got it, Ventus." He said. "Let's run." He jumped onto his friend's shoulder as they headed toward their friends. Won't be long now, He thought.

Doctor K smiled, though none could see it behind the mask and pane of glass. "Indeed, it is the place where I engineered your lives, and what brought you to your current existence. Of course, right again, when you were brought here you were a class above all the rest, my own. This left the other experiments with respect, or perhaps in Crow's case fear. Luckily it seems some of you found friendship in your stay. Admittedly, while Crow submitted easily to the treatments that obscure your past, you seem to have held on to a significant amount, at least in your subconscious. Perhaps they overlooked that, or maybe it was of your own cunning that your memories were kept somewhat intact. That may just be your key to finding that place."
The doctor finally began to step out of view of the window, he made his way over to the elevator. Stepping inside he waited for a moment, it closed automatically, then transported him to the lower area. When the pressurized doors opened he stepped out slowly and paced towards the pair.
"As for why I would ask of you this task, it is what you were designed for. The escape conducted by you and the other experiments, the delay in military response was caused by a lack of alarm, of course someone was bound to see the damage to the cells, however by disabling the security system in that area I was able to aid your escape. It was pure luck that it was you, Strobe, and Crow that had made it out, but I had other, though lesser experiments planted. But why do this when the research has been going on for so long? In brief description, I have a conscience, and the goings on of this facility have offended it. Your powers are not of the world known to humanity, and a rarity to be sure. It is a malicious travesty of science to confine and subjugate those with powers to torturous experimentation."
The doctor took the last few steps, closing the distance between himself and Crow, and placed his gloved hand on the experiment's shoulder. "You are not meant to be the playthings of your equal man, you are not meant to be the tools of an avaricious society. You are meant to live under the laws you yourselves have chosen. For the abhorable acts taken upon you in this place we will bring an end to these things and those that enable it.."

Kioko tensed slightly when the doctor moved in and placed a hand on crow. She was expecting the worse, but nothing happened. It would seem that the doctor was telling the truth. After years of experimentation, his conscience had finally caught up with him after all these years.
"So you're done with this whole experimenting business." She stated rather than asked.
In truth, if it was with the help of the doctor that they escaped, and sheer luck it was crow, strobe and herself then it was proof that they were brought up by the doc for this very specific moment. He had this planned from the very beginning, and that might have been for so long. Kioko was amazed the doctor was able to keep his sanity in check and it gave her a new light to see the doctor in. Maybe he wasn't as bad as she had thought.

Angelo disabled his stealth and stepped down from Ventus. They had found their way to the observation room, where Doctor K had been mere moments ago. Spotting the elevator, Angelo quickly set about looking for the controls. Ventus walked over and looked upon the scene below, of the carnage left in the wake of the battle. He looked at his two friends, and the doctor. He wasn't sure if the doctor was still his friend. If he wasn't his friend, then he should attack. Ventus wasn't sure, but he knew Angelo would know. Angelo was his very best friend. Angelo always knew. "Ventus, help me find the elevator switch." Angelo said loudly, the break the large man's concentration. Ventus looked back around and began to look at buttons.

Crow was still having problems as the doctor had said, but nonetheless the entire thing maintained its merit in his eyes, for if they made it to this place he might finally start remembering the past before the testing. This revelation left him unflinching when the doctor's hand came to rest on his shoulder. Doctor K's truth was the only one he knew, but maybe all this time it wasn't simply that the doctor was lying to him, but rather that his cryptic ways had successfully shrouded his intentions from them the entire time.
"Yeah, in the end it all makes sense. Your actions, there's no way that any of them could have been for the labs' sake, and if your motives were driven by greed you would have taken what you needed long ago and left us to be hunted. To operate within the labs, the source of constant knowledge, it's risky but you were just clever enough to pull it off..."
Crow looked to Kioko for a moment, wondering if she was as shocked that the doctor's benevolent core came as much of a shock to her. He had to admit, the first escape lacked far too much of the labs' security detail. But if he was so cunning to this point, why throw it all away now?
"Doctor, my abilities are more powerful than ever, and with my ability to speak returned my techniques can be used to their full extent. I'm sure I can get us all out of here safely, including yourself. Why don't you come with us? I mean, I believe that you could do a world of good, at least I want to. And with you with us, we would have a much better chance of success than otherwise, right?"

Ventus and Angelo stepped off the lift. "Doctor K." Angelo said in an accusatory voice. "The Dome. Why haven't you ever said anything?" The memories that place had unlocked were still foggy at best, but the emotions were profound. Also, he had missed the entire conversation before hand, and Doc K's role as a villain was firmly placed in his mind. Ventus, seeing Angelo tense and angry, became instantly so as well. His already huge muscles bulged beneath his bullet-proof skin, and he was ready to strike at Angelo's say so.

The doctor smiled from behind the mask, the experiments, even through the rigorous trials had enough sense to trust him. Not a feat he would expect to be common among all of them. "Yes, after all I know all that I possibly could about your powers without having them myself. It was necessary for me to understand the full scope of the labs' procedures, and subsequently plan counteraction." Doctor K released Crow's shoulder and glanced at the both of them as he began to slowly pace backwards, towards a crystal that now began to emit a new, faint glow. At this moment the two hitmen stepped into the area. "I suppose it is a blessing I do not deserve, to understand the full spectrum of your marvelous origins, however if I am to right the wrongs I helped to fruition, I must take in this proscribed capability. Unfortunately, Crow, my objectives are still unfinished here. I must ask that the two of you find the truth with what help you may find elsewhere." The doctor stopped his receding movements just short of the structure and addressed Angelo. "Knowledge may create chaos rather than order if not attained in a timely manner, I apologize for not clearing your obscured past sooner, but I promise that you will all recover your memories with time and effort, but it begins there. If you would, please accompany Kioko and Crow, we don't have much time, releasing the tortured beings from their prisons here may be quite a task. I believe you would all be of great assistance to each other." Sparks began to jump from the enormous formation behind him to his body, accompanied by warped, shifting space. He closed his eyes as the reproductions of the experiment's potent energies pulsed through his body, modifying the genetic structure of the cells he had rendered blank in his own body. The spiritual enhancements would likely damage him, having not been born like them, but the doctor felt he would last long enough. "Go now, and do not concern yourselves with the rest of the labs, they will be taken care of. Go to the dome, all you need is there. I have absolute faith in nothing but my own work. Fortunately, that would include you." No alarms had been sounded, however a pair of soldiers could be spotted in the observatory, the situation would start to become far more dangerous soon.

Angelo watched as Doc K began his strange transformation. Then, he turned to the others, those they had come to rescue. He addressed Kioko. "I see you're not in the heap of trouble we thought you'd be in." He said, almost uncharacteristically sarcastic. "Are we escaping, or what?" Ventus stepped forward and sat down squarely, slightly exhausted from their escapades so far.

Kioko averted her eyes from the Doctor, obvious worried for his sake. What he was trying to do could damage his body beyond repair, and even knowing this, he continued on with it. Kioko knew enough about science from experiencing it as well as being an elemental wielder, if the Doctor said he was good, then she would go for it.
"Sorry to cause you guys to worry about us. Let's go, first we need to make sure those 2 guards don't cause a ruckus." Kioko said walking towards Crow.

Crow was surprised at how quickly his opinion of the doctor had changed in the last moment. Before he'd destroy the doctor at any chance he had, now he felt a sudden sinking emptiness as Doctor K stepped back into a certain end to come. He turned to Kioko and nodded. "Thank you, doctor." He said under his breath, then slipped into a warped time state. Here he walked slowly and sideways, almost pacing past Ventus and Angelo, being certain to create little change in air pressure as not to create shockwaves. In regular time he moved as a black streak, passing out of sight within 1/40 of a second, still visible, but barely. Luckily Crow had made several escape attempts in the past during his testing here. He walked over to the elevator shaft, forcing the the shaft itself to release by forcing it open would set off an alarm, but he was strong enough to break through the shaft itself, which if he was careful would not set off the alarms. He removed his jacket and left it on the floor in the arena, it would likely get caught on something if he brought it with him. Crow put his palms on a steel plate that had been welded together, he'd broken through here before. Giving a small shove with his immense strength the steel plates broke apart easily, giving way to the outside of the shaft. He opened the plates slowly and began to climb the shaft after slipping through. When he reached the top without a hitch, he jumped back into the shaft through a maintenance opening and entered the observatory. All of this had been done within the time frame of roughly four seconds. From here he simply walked behind the two human guards, gave each a slight push on their right temple and stood back. Returning to a experience a 'regular' time flow, he watched the two guards topple suddenly as the slight push was amplified in realtime, acting as a semi-powerful strike to the head and knocking them unconscious. Without missing a beat he slipped back through the shaft and returned to Kioko and his new traveling companions. "All right, we should have at least a few hours before the two guards wake up, maybe shorter before they're discovered. Let's get going, eh?" He asked as he slipped his metal-studded jacket back over his shoulders.

Kioko stood in place as she felt Crow's ki energy move instantly and back as if nothing happened.
She then walked over towards Ventus and Angelo, "do you guys know where the dome is Unfortunately, my memory hasn't entirely come back on it's own and so far I can only see glimpses." she said sheepishly.

Angelo shook his head. "It's the same with us. But, yes, we found it. At first we thought it was under the lab, but that was just an observation center. But, the dome isn't far away. It's right here, in these foothills. In fact, the entire area was raised above sea level just for that reason. Now, me and Ventus' memories were triggered by seeing footage of the place. Perhaps, if we all go there, we will remember completely." He said this while climbing astride Ventus. He thought for a moment. "Crow can more than handle himself, but I'd like to offer you the protection of my stealth ability. It might save us some trouble."

"Right, that would be best then." Kioko said agreeing with Angelo's idea of using his stealth ability on her.
The fact that they remembered after seeing the dome meant that the memories of the time wasn't completely erased, but merely locked very deep in their brains. And So far, Kioko had a theory that not all of the memories were able to be locked away, especially the ones with the most emotions. For example her memories of Ryo, her older brother, and her when they were still little. She can't remember what the place looked like, but Kioko definitely remembered Ryo leaving some days and coming back, sometimes reading her stories before they were separated.

Angelo reached down and offered her a hand up onto Ventus' other shoulder. Indeed, he was large enough and strong enough to sit two people without being phased. "Once were in the sub-dimension, don't try to use your powers. Because of the bubble-like nature of my ability, they'll only rebound back and hit us." He said, trying to make that very clear. He seriously didn't want to get impaled by shards of stone or anything where his body could never be found.

Kioko reached up and took Angelo's hand before getting helped to sit on Ventus's other shoulder.
"Right, no using of my powers. Don't worry about it." she replied back at Angelo before looking at Crow and the Doctor.
"Are you just going to be following us then Crow?" She asked him.
