Maryn sat on her bed and looked at the wall wondering why here tears were frozen before she tried to regain the feeling the power but just made her glass of water invisible.

Alli had finished her hot dog. She grabbed her backpack, and went to the lake. She sat down in a spot highly visible from the roof (Hint), and took out the gloves. She slipped them on, and wondered how she would be able to become happy.
She closed her eyes, and tried to think happy thoughts. 'What makes me happy?' She thought about her arrival at Reject Academy.
She smiled, she felt accepted for the first time in her life. Her fire crackled at her fingertips. She opened her eyes, and grinned. She urged it to grow a little. It covered her hand, it felt warm and inviting. She smiled softly, and rolled her hands.
It happily formed into a ball, and the flames crackled joyfully.

No lights on + lots of beer] Sai watched Alli from afar. "Heh, the lake a nice a calm place to relax... and not burn down the room when I'm not around. (Smelled like ash in there for some reason)." Shadow, watching Koori helping Hiro, made him feel dumb. He had those powers all his life but he didnt know what to do, they are already making sculptures with shadows. He banged his head on his desk, he felt like a idiot.

Hiro didn't want to be rude, but he already knew that. "I sort of understood that. What I don't get is how you chose and made a form so easily..." Hiro knew that he normally had a vast reserve of raw power, but he couldn't pinpoint every detail of it and mold it into a form like she could.
He wasn't very focoused on class at the time, but he had to get through it. Mostly so that he could go talk to Maryn...
But he had to make the best of it. "So how did you choose and make a raven so easily?"

Alli's fire went out. "Hey." She looked at her hands, hoping that the fire would come back. Normally it didn't feel that good, she wanted it back, and Sai had startled her.
