It's a common style for Geishas, Queen Amidala used it in Episode One.

Okay so I was messing with Photoshop to do a picture of a Kid Flash and Static Shock team-up. I'm really not use to drawing Static and I tried a bunch of different things in this picture to see how it would work out.. Oh well..

Thanks but I still think I need to work on drawing him sweatdrop For some reason I like the way Bart came out much better. Of course I like Bart... if I ever get around to coloring that picture I did of him with reindeer antlers I need to post it. The sketch looked kinda cute but I tend to correct alot of things when I start coloring. sweatdrop

Actually, if I had one critique about your work it would be the coloring. It looks like you use the dodge/burn button to add highlights and it makes everything look really shiny. I'd suggest using the paintbrush with a lighter version of the color you're trying to put highlights on instead of using the dodge button.
