A familiar scent fills the air. Russ snaps out from his dreamworld. He sees the note and reads it.
"Obsydian? Here?"
He looks around and sees Obsydian sleeping right next to him. He smiles and turns to Jamie. "Hey Jamie! I suggest you cook a lot starting now. This one will be munching anything like a starving orc when he wakes up."
"Lost eh?" He thinks to himself as he looks at his war comrade still dozing off.

"Ha, Steak Dinner on the house anyone?" Jamie laughs, "The chef cooked them up, let me go and collect them" Jamie walks off into the kitchen and comes back a minute later carrying a tray with three plates of food on "Here, one for Obsydian, one for Russ and one for TPot" Jamie smiles "If anyone else wants food let me know, ill get more from the kitchen"

*the sweet scent of the steak that the waiter laid on the table where Obsydian is sleeping brought him back to the waking world*

"hmmm... whats that smell... *looks at the steak* that looks like a mighty fine-looking steak... am i still dreaming? mmm... smells good..."
*looks up to where Russ was, still staring at him*
"ow hello Russ! *wipes off the drool from his face* wow, i'd never guess i'd find you here! heck, i'd never guess how i ended up here either! why dont we talk about whats going on here? what ARE you doing here?"*Obsydian says to Russ, as he picks up the fork and the knife already laid by the waiter for them.*"wait, hold that thought..."
"umm, waiter? do you have water? biggrin thanks! oh, and milk for my friend Russ here. xd "

"Well, i do run this place, ever since the manager went missing" Jamie frowned "I dont want this job but i wont let this place close down, anyway where was i, oh yes, Im Jamie" Jamie says as taking a firm grip on Obsydian's hand.

"well met, Jaimie! i must say, you've been doing a great job here, even if you didnt want this. but i must also emphasize that there's nothing more noble than keeping the faith of the people aloft during these troubled times. and with that, you've done an exellent job. and more, just by keeping this tavern open."*Obsydian says with a grave tone to the barkeep*
*but then, with a sudden change of mood, he exclaims* "AH! i've been too serious all of a sudden. let's just enjoy the satakes, shall we?"
"Russ, my old friend. hows things been going?"*he refers to Russ, as he picks up the fork and the knife to cut a rather huge piece of steak*

Russ grew quiet for a while, staring at Obsydian. There he went again with that tone. He smiles. "I'm a game keeper now. In a forest near old man Logan's shop in Bass'ken Lake. I'm just here to eat food not of my cooking."
"How bout you?" Russ asks Obsydian. "How goes your travels, OLD MAN?" He finishes off snickering.

"Pah! That can wait!" Russ whispers back. "I suggest you sit back, relax, and clear your head from all worries for a while. You're too serious." He pats Obsydians back.
Russ looks at his steak, "I'm gonna grow fat." He starts eating... smiling.

"i hope the monsters still havnt reached this town. i'd hate to find this village shattered by those evil beings. i pray to the gods that i made it here in time..."
