I'm Buying You Dinner And THAT'S FINAL! Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii was walking down the street with a smug grin on her face. She was wearing a black pleated skirt, plaid stockings with black heels, and a plaid tank top all tucked under a mid-length winter coat. Over her shoulder was a plaid voodoo purse, and she was leading a group of two men who she had forced to change earlier. She glanced over her shoulder from time to time to make sure they hadn't escaped, her blue eyes twinkling with the satisfaction she had finally won the argument had earlier. "I'm telling you, this is going to be so much better than catching a squirrel or eating out of our trash like you usually do." she said, looking back to the tan man behind her. Arcturus Highwind The little one, dark of skin like the Adult, though with a head of thick orange hair and long animalistic ears was beeming from ear to ear. He was skipping along, with wide swinging arms as he swerved back and forth in the space between the Succubus, and the Guardian. He was wearing a puffy, green winter, down jacket. One that was definately too big for him, wearing what was supposed to be a simple coat as a long trench coat, with his sleeves waving around past his hands with every little swing he made. "He's going to be soft..." Yi Jen Ro muttered. He had been... grumbling about such things the whole time. From the moment he showed up at the Shack, asking Onii to take Garrick on a tour of "City Food". The kid seemed quite excited. In truth he had been asking about it since Onii had 'fed' him last time. Yi Jen Ro had found something much like he had worn normally. A shirt, black, short sleeved, black jeans, tennis shoes. "Feet hurt..." he muttered. He did seem to hate wearing shoes. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii smiled down at Garrick and pat his head, he was indeed a cute kid. She then glanced back at Ro. "I'm sorry, but most places require you wear shoes to enter." She said, before she got to the appointed restront she had desired. It was a place called "Ryan's Steak House" and it was a buffet style restront. Yeah, you could order main dishes, but the good food would be found on the bars where you could pick and choose what you wanted. She thought that would appeal to Ro's scavenger tastes, anyways. "Two adults and one child." Onii said as she paid at the counter. She then looked down to Garrick. "Are you hungry, Gary? Common, I'll hold you up and help you pick out what food you want!" She beamed. Arcturus Highwind Yi Jen Ro was grumbling, even as he opened the door and stepped inside. He seemed hunched over, shoulders up and tense, eyes flicking around constantly, almost leaning forward, weight on the balls of his feet, his hands in front of him, rather than towards the side. No mistaking he was tense. The comparison to a caged animal was perfectly accurate. Garrick however, had a completely different reaction. He stopped his skipping with one double foot STOMP right in front of the counter/podium where Onii was taking care of business. He was still all smiles, his arms waving back and forth still despite standing in place. When Onii turned to him, he jumped up again turning mid air and stomping down on the ground again. He held his arms up, half of the sleeves still hanging down as they went past his hands. "Op! Op!" Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii smiled and picked up Garrick, tucking her right arm under his butt while her left wrapped under his arms and around his back. "We're gonna get yummy food! Yes!" Onii cooed to the child, before she looked over to Yi Jen Ro. "Have you ever eaten at a restront like this before? You know what to do, right?" "Oh god..." came a familiar voice from the buffet bar. Onii's eyes shot over, before she let out an unpleasant grown. There she spotted Ancelin, who was supporting her weight on her walker with one hand, holding a plate in another. Behind her was a rather shy looking boy, but it was easy to tell they where together because of how closely together they where standing. "Good to see you, Anny. I'm surprised you can muster up the skill to walk." Onii snorted, Anny leered. "I'm surprised you have enough time off your back to do the same, Onii." Oh, such sibling love. Arcturus Highwind "ZAAA!" Little Garrick cheered as he was picked up. He plopped forward, collapsing on Onii, tucking his head over her shoulder so he could peer around at everything that was behind Onii... meaning he was going to miss out spotting the new arrivals. But he seemed quite happy. "... not for many years..." Yi Jen Ro answered. However, it sounded a bit uncertain as he looked around. ALERT! Tyler leened over, taking shelter behind Ancelin, mostly, from the line of sight of the other two. He leaned again, close to Ancelin's ear so he could whisper, "Who are they?" His voice seemed to have raised an octive during this little encounter. And you could almost hear the shaking in his knees as he looked over Ancelin's shoulder towards the new arrivals. "... Crazy Woman..." Yi Jen Ro muttered, seeing Ancelin once more. The third time they met now, and not a single moment of any of the meets so far had gone well. Tenshi_Kuronaho "Onii is... I guess you could say she's my sister." Ancelin explained as she looked over her shoulder at Tyler. Onii's eyes grew wide with interest when she spotted the male, but her eyes quickly darted back to Jen Ro, and her eyes relaxed. No, she wouldn't go into that mode while he was around. She'd get him later. "Who's you're little friend, Anny?" Onii asked as she looked back at Tyler, while she gently bounced Garrick up and down in her arms. Ancelin was currently staring at Garrick, she didn't remember the stink bomb being that big. He must of grown, much like when she did. She would of liked to examined the kid one on one, but eh, now was not the time. "His name is Tyler, and keep your hands off of him." She said curtly. Ancelin then looked back at Tyler again and sighed, he was nervous, probably because of her hostile behavior. She decided to relax a little, before she began nodding to the offending parties. "The woman is Onii, the kid she's holding is... Darrick?" "Garrick." Onii interrupted. "Garrick, and the other guy is Yojimbo, I think. His guardian." she explained. Onii's eye twitched a few times as her sibling mispronounced his name, but she bit her tongue. Such a young child in her arms did not need to hear the dirty words she wanted to bark out in a public place. Arcturus Highwind "What is she?" Tyler whispered to Ancelin. Definately Not Human, he could see that. And for whatever reason, he was still quite nervous despite the introductions being passed. His hands gripped tight on his plate while he kept his eye on Onii. "... they're gonna kill me." -------- "... that's exactly what I don't want Garrick becoming," Yi Jen Ro muttered. Directed of course at Tyler. He was scared witless over a simple introduction. He was pasty skinned, with about no muscle. He had no courage what so ever hiding behind a crippled woman. "City Softness. See that Garrick?" Garrick of course couldn't see. He was looking over her shoulder. Though he did try to twist around to look at what was going on. But Onii's hold on him would make that a perilous, difficult maneuver. Tenshi_Kuronaho "She's a succubus. A demon that sucks out mens souls threw sexual intercourse. Be weary of your privates when you're around her, she'll bed anything with testicles." she said, before sending a leer at Onii. Onii grew red in the face and hissed at her sister, her tail flicking in annoyance. "Shut up! You're just jealous because I can actually attract creatures with testicles, filthy lesbian!" Onii retorted. Ancelin smirked, content to get a rise out of her sister, before she turned on her heel and began adding to the food on her plate. It was obvious she was having difficulty doing so, what with the arm supporting her weight trembling on the walker, but she didn't want to ask for help ether. Onii glared at Ancelin as she turned her attention elsewhere, before she walked to the same food bar and grabbed a plate. "Okay Gary, tell Onii what you want on your plate and I'll scoop it up for you." Arcturus Highwind Tyler himself flinched at the exchange, and was more than happy to turn his back towards them as Ancelin did. He stuck close to her, but seemed hesitant, as he debated mentally between trying to help her out with the gathering of food or not. You could almost see the gears turning in his head, debating back and forth what would happen. "ABAVYFANG!" Garrick cried out quite happily as Onii passed on the instructions. His hands waved over the entirty of the buffet table, nearly slipping out of Onii's grip in his excitement. Yi Jen Ro just shook his head at the whole display. He was keeping quiet of the whole affair, more than happy to wash his hands of that insane blue haired lady. So while everyone else was busy... he found his way towards the meat section, loading up his plate with as many, and as many types of dead animal as he could find until it was piled as high as his head. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii giggled loudly at Garricks insane request. She then adjusted him in her arms, so she could set the plate down on the counter in front of the trays. "You can't have everything right now! How about we just pick a few things now, and then we'll come back for more later? What looks the most yummy, hmmm?" She asked, looking down at the child. She glanced over her shoulder to look for Ro, and contented herself when she spotted him filling up on meat.. She figured he would have a more well balanced diet, seeing as he was a 'survivor' man. But, maybe he was just a man man. Ancelin filled her plate with fruits and random vegetables, breaded okra, broccoli, etc. She didn't seem to go after the more artificial foods like macaroni and cheese, but she couldn't help but add a few good pieces of baked chicken. She then looked around the restront idly... "Tyler... Do you see any open tables?" She asked, hesitant to walk anymore than she had to. Arcturus Highwind Tyler stood up on his toes, almost spilling his plate. His was 'fairly balanced' as well. A few pieces of shirmp, a small cut of salmon steak, a bit of salad, a dinner roll. Nothing too fancy, even his salad was fairly bland, the only thing he added to it being a bit of grated chedder cheese. He finally spotted one. And just one. It was off in the corner, a fairly large booth. Sure, there were tiny tables out there, but they were all in aisles and he personally hated having fat guys wander past and whack him in the back of the head with their elbows. "Over there... might even sit with your sister." he suggested. That and unlike the Aisle tables it had enough room to park An's walker without tripping everyone up. Garrick wiggled about in Onii's arms. So much STUFF. So little room on that tiny plate she was carrying around. Didnt' they have bigger ones? Bah. Garrick's face was losing it's smile, screwing into a frown as he struggled to make his choice. He wiggled about again, pointing to the first thing that caught his eye, something that "looked weird". A bit of Fried Chicken. And again at a massive dinner roll. And again at that pile of "Unnatural" Macaroni and Cheese that Ancelin snubbed. Yi Jen Ro shook his head. Took him all of 5 seconds to load up it seemed. He held the plate up to his face, eyeballing the meat he had loaded on before deeming it "decent" and lowering it back down. "Don't spoil the kid," he warned Onii. Tenshi_Kuronaho "A little variety in his diet isn't going to spoil him. He should stack while he can." Onii said as she stuck her tongue out to Ro. "You should load up on carbs too while you can. And eat lots of fruit, there are no vitamins in that meat! Just protein!" Onii said, sounding much like a nagging mother while she scooped the childs desired foods onto the plate. She then stopped and got a few pieces of broccoli as well, setting it next to the mac and cheese. "You should try greens too, they'll make you big and strong." Ancelin frowned as she saw the table off in the distance, and then glared at her sister at the bar. She did NOT want to share tables with her, but it kinda looked like they would have no choice if they didn't hurry. "Can you carry my plate for me Tyler? So I can get over there." She said, nodding to her walker. Arcturus Highwind "Need the protein," Yi Jen Ro answered Onii. He hardly seemed phased by her nagging, or the raspberry. He just sauntered over, waiting for Onii and the little one to finish up. "Plants are plentiful and easily scavenged. Meat however, is not." It had been a few days since he had a proper bit of meat, after all. And he wasn't going to pass up the rarity when he had the chance. Garrick sniffed at the plate, even if it was too far for him to actually smell it. His face screwed up tight in a sour frown, sticking out his tongue at the "Weird" and "Disgusting" looking greenery she had plopped on his plate. "Ooo! Ooo!" seemed he was excited. He was pointing at a different "Greenery" hoping to get it to replace that weird stuff. The Greenery? Some young bananas that hadn't quite turned completely yellow yet, sliced in half over by the produce. Of course Tyler complied. Within about .5 seconds of asking he'd have a hand on her plate, balancing it from a strong grip on the edge of it, taking a step aside and behind Ancelin so she'd have complete room to motor on by with her walker. However, his eyes were towards the floor, not really watching Ancelin other than enough awareness to follow along behind her and not trip over her. His eyes kept rolling around, as if he was searching for something down there on the ground. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii nodded her head as she half listened to Jen Ro. She then smiled at Garrick and reached for the tongs, before adding some of the sliced bananas to the plate. "Let's see here... This should be enough for now." She said, before looking back to Ro. "Do you want to hold his plate while I get mine together? Or shall we find a place to sit down and I'll come back for my own?" Ancelin made her way over to the table, surely enough. Politely excusing herself whenever she accidentally bumped somebody or needed them to scoot into their table farther. Once she got to their table she set the walker to the side and rested her hands on the wall. Once she had managed to get herself into the back corner she sat down in her chair and looked up to Tyler, smiling softly. "Thank you for your help, I'd be helpless without you." Arcturus Highwind "Oh... um... well.... it's nothing..." Tyler stammered out as he carefully set down the plate in front of Ancelin. It took him another moment, his eyes shifting around as he kept his gaze towards the floor before he finally took a seat. Coming in at the opposite direction from Ancelin's walker, taking a position dead opposite from her across the table. Poor Yi Jen Ro, he was just so used to being the pack animal he had no problem taking a hold of little Garrick's plate so Onii could go to town. He didn't seem to mind it at all in fact. "What is that stuff?" he muttered, looking down at the strange 'food' substances on his plate. In particular that macaroni and cheese glob. Garrick wiggled in Onii's hold, grabbing out for the plate that was escaping into the hands of the Other Tall One. He had almost made the grab, almost that is. And almost fell out of her grasp in the process, catching himself only at the last minute. Near "flying" accident, he seemed quite content to cling onto Onii now as best he could, not wishing to risk it again. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii smiled fondly down at the small child and set Garrick down on the ground after he made his near face-plant. "Careful now, don't want to get a boo boo." She said. She then stood up straight and grabbed her own plate, before heading over to the fruit and salad bar. She loaded up on various goodies to create her perfect salad. Lettuce, spinach, chick peas, onion slices, cherry tomatos, cucumber slices, etc. In the middle she poured some mozzarella cheese and red wine vinegarette. She then quickly scuttled over and made a perfect ring around her salad with shrimp and cocktail sauce. Once the city girl had finished creating her plate of typical 'dieting girl' food, she walked over to the two males and tilted her head, content with her selection. "Now, let's see.. where shall we sit?" She asked rhetorically, glancing about the room. Ancelin unfolded a napkin and spread it in her lap, before she unrolled her silver wear and throughly inspected it for left over food particles. She scrubbed at the fork for the second to get rid of a water spot, and then glanced acrossed the table at Tyler. "Have to be careful in places like this." She said, before setting the silver wear on the table. She then reached over to her walker and unzipped the bag hanging from it, before pulling out a campers dining set. "They never clean the silver wear enough so I always just end up bringing my own." Arcturus Highwind Onii would have to pry Garrick off as if he were Ane with the claws sunk in. After the near spill he'd do everything he could to cling to a relatively solid surface.... but in the end he's still just a toddler with weak toddler arms, and could be removed though he thrashed about like crazy when he was just hanging on by two hands. Once safe on the ground, he waddled over towards Yi Jen Ro, plopping his fat a** down on his right foot, wrapping arms and legs around his leg. Instant transport for the Lazy Child, being carried around with every step the Adult took. "Got 'em all riled up..." Yi Jen Ro muttered. However, he had no idea where to sit. Hell, if it was up to him he would have eaten standing up right there. He patiently awaited for the Succubus to pick a spot. Not that any place looked particularly open to him. Wow... she's kinda crazy...Not that Tyler was going to hold such a minor thing against her. He sufficed with just setting his napkin in his lap, closing his eyes, and apparently letting out a little prayer while she fished for the camper's set. He smiled to himself when he finally finished up, looking over towards Ancelin for the first time since Onii showed up. "Guess I didn't come as prepared as you." He laughed it off weakly, and took up the Questionable Fork that had been set out. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii continued to glance around, dammit. They shouldn't of come during the lunch rush, every seat and table had been taken. Onii glanced from table to table, nope, nothing. She spotted Ancelin and that boy she was with.. their table had enough room for them, but if she could she wanted to avoid sitting with her sister as much as possible. But alas, it didn't look as if they where going to catch a break. "We're gonna have to sit with An and her little whimpy friend, I think." She said with a sneer. She glanced down at Garrick and giggled, ah, he was cute. Ancelin blushed a little as she jabbed her fork into one of her side dishes. It never bothered her when Vincent or the others made fun of her for being so a**l compulsive, so how come Tyler's acceptance of it flushed her? She shook it off, trying to ignore it. "I'd bring my own plates if I could." She laughed meekly. "It's probably no wonder I always get sick, I don't let myself get exposed to germs enough to build up an immune system." It was true, An was very prone to catching frequent colds because of her compulsive behavior. And yet still she did it. Arcturus Highwind Yi Jen Ro let out a little growl of displeasure himself. The thought of sitting with Crazy and City Boy didn't exactly appeal to him either. But he doubted that Onii would just stand around and eat on her feet either like a common animal would. She seemed too City for that. So it was with great reluctance that he hobbled along after her, dragging along Garrick with each step. The young Sin making noises of excitement and fun at the free ride. "Well, you can't help who you are you know?" Tyler smiled it off himself, though his eyes drifted dead down from Ancelin to his plate as he jabbed at his salad, spearing up a couple of leafy bits. "We all have our little things we shouldn't do, but just can't help." Tenshi_Kuronaho Ancelin probably would of replied to what Tyler had said, if Onii hadn't of beat her to it. "Yeah, like how we shouldn't have to sit with you two, but we are. Move, dude. You're sitting by An now." Onii said as she rested a hand on her hip. She wasn't about to sit next to this scrawny excuse for a man, nor was she gonna sit by Ancelin. She wanted to sit by Jen Ro, and that's how it was gonna be. "You better watch how you talk to Tyler, Onii." An said with a sharp glare. "Or you'll do what? Onii said, cocking her head at the challenge. "You can't even walk." "But I can dye all you're clothes puss green and shave your cat." Ancelin said, to which Onii took a deep breath threw her nostrils, puffing up her chest. Her glare went back from Ancelin to Tyler, before she exhailed loudly. "We just gotta sit together. We wont talk to you, you wont talk to us. How does that sound?" "What are you gonna do with the brat?" Ancelin questioned. "We'll get him a booster chair. Now one of you move to the other side." Oh this was going to be a pleasant meal. Arcturus Highwind Tyler visably flinched when Onii's voice cut through whatever moment might have been occuring. However, he was hardly in a position where he was going to disaggree with the volitile Succubus. He kept his eyes down, towards his plate, mumbling out a, "Yes ma'am," as he scooted around the booth, sliding his plate over towards Ancelin, and away from the Succubus and Yi Jen Ro. He kept his eyes down towards his plate, his hair covering up his face and preventing eye contact with the huffy woman. Probably a good thing. Yi Jen Ro scowled at the City Boy's behavior, though he said no words. Eventually his gaze drifted over towards Ancelin. It didn't soften any, but at least it didn't get any worse. With a grumbling noise coming from him he set his plates down, picking out a spot for himself, though he did allow Onii to slide in before he took a seat. "Bwa?" came the call from Garrick. He was staring over at the jumble of feet and legs beneath the table, wondering who they belonged to. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii softened her gaze once she got her way, and slid into the booth. She made sure to stay a good ways off from Tyler, and then held her arms out for Garrick. Since it was a round booth, they'd just need a booster stool instead of an actual chair. Ancelin returned Yi Jen Ro's scowl with her own leer. She didn't like them intruding on her time with her friend, but before she could vocalize things further a waitress came up to the table, who was oblivious to the ill vibes resonating from the table. "Hello, can I interest you five in anything to drink?" she asked, smiling a bright, cheesy smile that screamed 'please tip me, I don't get paid squat'. "I'll have lemonade." Ancelin said softly, putting on a smile. "I'll have an iced tea with lemon, please." Onii said, before she looked at the child on Ro's leg. "And a booster chair for the little one, please." The woman smiled, before she looked to Ro and Tyler for their orders. Arcturus Highwind "Water," Yi Jen Ro answered flatly, "Two of them," had to include the child too after all. Gods above he hoped they had water. Real water. Not that weird strange liquid that some places called "Water" that tasted of rotting fruit and had a strange fizz to it. Just water. Considering his business "done" Yi Jen Ro took no time waiting for pleasantries around the table. He was HUNGRY. Plain and simple. And he satisfied it simply as well. Bare handing a piece of steak, ripping out a chunk with his teeth. Utensils? They'd just slow him down. Garrick wiggled around in Onii's grasp, trying to escape and get towards his own little plate, to follow suit with the Adult who cared for him. Granted there were small flaws in the plan, mostly involving Reach. But he didn't seem to have thought them out. Poor Tyler. He mumbled something, however, it was right towards his plate. Doubtful Ancelin could hear, much less the waitress waaaaaay over thar. His fork had been set down, his hands in his lap, and his eyes pointed straight down. His shoulders seemed quite tense, and there was even a slight, constant shivering going through him. Tenshi_Kuronaho Ancelin frowned as she looked to Tyler, the poor boy was terrified. She'd never seen him like this before. She reached out and began to gently stroke his back, trying to help comfort him. Her other hand reached out and grabbed his arm, squeezing it reassuringly. She then looked up at the waitress. "Um, a water for him too, please." She said. "Coming right up!" The waitress said with a peppy swish of her hip. She then scurried off to the kitchen, to fetch the requested booster and beverages. "Hold tight, Garrick. She'll be back with a booster for you soon so you can eat." Onii comforted as she undid a napkin and tucked it into the boys shirt. She had a sneaking suspicion she should of done the same for Jen Ro. They both screamed 'messy eater'.. Okay, Ro acted out on it aswell. But that was beside the point. Arcturus Highwind Tyler nearly jumped right out of his skin when Ancelin touched him. His hands came up close to his chest, as if he were trying to ward off some strike against him, his shoulders bunching up to the point where they were pressing against his ears. A moment later he realized who it was. He seemed just as tense, but his arms and shoulders did lower themselves. His skin was covered in goosebumps, that young man's peachfuzz he had on his arms all standing on end. Act? Bah, that's who Yi Jen Ro was. You might as well have been sitting down with a wolf as he left the Hand behind, chewing on the second half of that steak, with the end of it hanging out of his mouth as he chowed on it. Already his hands were picking up the next piece, the rib. Apparently he was much too busy to bother with conversation or worrying about the company. "Vamp!" Garrick called out, laughing and clapping his hands as he watched Ancelin and Tyler. Yes, even the toddler was mocking him. It was more entertaining than trying to fight agianst Onii and Physics to get at his food after all. Tenshi_Kuronaho Ancelin would of been throwing a fit about Jen Ro's eating habits if she wasn't preoccupied with her friend. She continued to stroke his back, smiling meekly. "It's alright, they wont bite." She said, before glancing over at the intruders. Her eye twitched once when she saw Onii, twice when she saw Garrick, and five times when she saw Jen Ro. Onii looked at the boy after Garrick's comment. He looked like a vampire alright. She then sighed and stroked the young boys hair, waiting for the waitress to return with the stool and drinks. The woman came back carrying the stool under one arm and a plate full of drinks above her head, she handed the seat to Onii, whom began placing it and then setting the young boy in it so he could finally reach his awaited meal. After handing over the seat the woman began passing out drinks, before she bowed. "Enjoy your meal." She said, before scuttering off. At least, the rest of the group could enjoy their meal. Arcturus Highwind ((Note: He called Tyler a Wimp, not a Vampire. Speech Impediments, ftl. xP )) Tyler glanced over towards the side, seeing Ancelin sitting there, apparently trying to comfort him. Through force of will he calmed down, breathing very slowly. "I'm okay now."He cleared his throat, and stabbed at his salad again. His head kept focused towards his plate, not looking up at the others at all, keeping that Hair Cover over his face. Yi Jen Ro scarfed up the last of the meat he had been chewing on, taking down the whole glass of water in its wake. Apparently he was a quick eater, there wasn't a moment where something wasn't going into his mouth, or coming towards it as he loaded in the next piece. Garrick meanwhile, seemed to pick up some of his father's bad habits. As soon as the booster seat was firmly located under his a**, and the food was in reach he did so, bare hand grabbing up a tight toddler fist of Macaroni and Cheese. "Squishy," he murmured, squeezing it just a bit before he brought his fist towards his mouth. Tenshi_Kuronaho Ancelin frowned, Tyler wasn't going to be able to enjoy his meal at all. And with how tense he seemed to be he was sure to get an upset stomach. She glared at her sister acrossed the table. It was all her fault! Coming and interfereing with her hanging out with her friend. Onii sensed the glare and gave Ancelin a pleasant smile. She looked to the boy.. they sure seemed close. She then glanced to Jen Ro's plate, before looking to her male friend. "This is all you can eat, so feel free to refill your plate if you want to." she said, before taking a bite from her plate. "So, Anny. What happened between you and Jan the other day?" She said with a smirk. An froze and glared at Onii again. She did NOT want to discuss those matters in front of strangers or with Onii for that matter. "Nothing happened with Jan the other day." she retorted, giving a warning growl. "That's not what I heeeeeard. I heard you bawling and crying to Vincent about how you turned down sex with her-" "Shut up, Onii!!" "I was so shocked! I can't believe you would turn down sleeping with the woman of your dreams." ah women, rulers of verbal warfare. Onii then glanced to Tyler to watch his reaction, if her suspicions where right, he would be surprised and perhaps a little hurt. Arcturus Highwind Onii did get a reaction. Right when the big reveal happened Tyler seemed to jump up about 3 inches, his jaw hanging open, his eyes bugged. You could have gotten less of a reaction running him right through the stomach with a butter knife it seemed. He completely froze up, his mind shutting down in the face of this new information. "Makes sense..." Yi Jen Ro grumbled between food, in that nice lull of silence after all was said. The only sound that came from him after that was his knife slamming down hard on the plate, stabbing right through a piece of meat. Tyler didn't even flinch at the large stab noise. Even Garrick seemed to sense that SOMETHING was wrong. He pulled his hand back, revealing a little smear of cheese around his lips, chewing loudly on his food as he looked over towards Onii, then Garrick, and finally across the table. "Wha?" Tenshi_Kuronaho Ancelin didn't notice Tyler's shock, she was too busy glaring at her elder sister. But Onii did. Onii looked to Tyler and crossed her arms, yup, he had no idea about Jan. She grinned a victorius grin and couldn't help but chuckle. "You don't know what you're talking about." Ancelin said with a snort as she looked away. "I don't? So you mean you DIDN'T stay out with her all night after getting drunk off your a** at the club. You're saying you didn't stay the night at her house where you two made out for hours and you even got all her-" "SHUT UP!" Ancelin screamed, drawing quiet a few odd stares from other costumers in the restront. Onii smirked and opened her mouth to continue. Ancelin wasn't about to allow it though, she picked up her plate and threw it at her sister, smacking her right in the face with it. "You're such a b***h." Ancelin said as she choked on tears, she then stepped away from the table and grabbed her walker, storming out of the restront in a crippled huff. Onii let out a shreek of horror as she got food bits all over her designer outfit and stood up from her seat. She then quickly shot a glance at Ro, giving him the 'move so I can go to the bathroom' look. "That little... Does she have any idea how much these clothes cost?!" she hissed. Arcturus Highwind Yi Jen Ro slid out, standing up and taking his plate with him, still chowing down. He had been eating through the whole dramatic episode. The yelling, the plate chucking, the food splattering. None of it really bothered him. Sociopath, or something else entirely, he didn't even seem to care that Onii was hissing at him and seething in rage. "City people..." he muttered. That about summed up his feelings on the whole episode. Tyler meanwhile, was numb from the whole thing. He slowly pushed his plate out towards the center of the table. And a 10 count later, wiggled out of his seat, standing up at the edge of the table. "I'm sorry sir," he mumbled, very quiet as he bowed towards Yi Jen Ro, then followed after Ancelin. He wasn't likely to catch up, shambling out after her at a dead stumble rather than the huff of cripple fury that she was motoring along at. Garrick meanwhile? He was chowing down on his "new favorite food", that macaroni and cheese. He was even double fisting it, grabbing up handfulls of the gooey food and jamming them in his mouth. There was quite a mess of Cheese that didn't quite make the trip all the way inside his mouth gathering. But as Yi Jen Ro sat back down next to him, he didn't seem to care. "City people," he instructed Garrick, now that they were alone. "Do you see that, how illogical they were? Obviously that wimpy man wished to mate with the crazy one. However, he was meek and did not speak plainly what he wanted. In the end he let her get away, and lost what he wanted." "Onii got angry, beyond any logical standing. Her 'clothes' may have cost her much... but she has many more clothes at home. As well any stain or coloration that might happen because of that, will be minor and have no effect on the use of the clothes. In her irrational rage over materials, she neglects her face wound. It's entirely possible she will start bleeding out of the nose without even realizing it, or doing anything to stop the bleeding." "And the Crazy Woman... she was wrapped up in secrets and lies. Had she spoken true and plainly about her... life, then there would have been no ability for Onii to anger her with her words, nor any embarressment at this place. And she could have turned Onii's attempts back upon her. Instead she flew into a rage beyond all need, and lost what could have been a valuable friend and clanmate." Lesson, over. Garrick nodded along however, only seeming to really understand perhaps half of what he was saying. But he was trying to pay attention. Especially now that the macaroni was gone. "Stoopid," he finally chimed in. Yi Jen Ro nodded slowly towards Garrick, rubbing his hair affectionately, "Yes... very." With that, they went back to eating. Yi Jen Ro clearing his plate, while little Garrick's stubby fingers went out to mutilate that dinner roll. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii had returned roughly fifteen minutes later looking quite annoyed. Her clothes where obviously stained, even after her attempt to rinse it out and then dry it under the hand dryer in the bathroom, and she seemed to have a cut on her cheek aswell from where the fork that was still on An's plate when thrown had hit her. She looked down at Yi Jen Ro and Garrick and tilted her head to the side. "Still hungry? Or are you guys full?" She asked, no sense of of anger in her voice even if her furrowed brows betrayed her. Arcturus Highwind Yi Jen Ro stopped eating, to look sideways up at Onii. It didn't take all that much to tell that her voice and her body language were out of sync. In fact he almost expected her to snap at the slightest and strangest of triggers. "The kid's still going at it," he answered slowly. Yi Jen Ro's plate had been cleaned off, and he had pushed it away. Garrick's plate was now minus dinner roll. The Fried Chicken seemed to ahve been Deskinned. The crispy parts were missing, but the meat was still there. And the broccoli that Garrick had been subjected to remained in a mangled heap, torn up and smushed, but not eaten. The kid had attempted to nibble on it while she was gone. However, such was his hatred of vegetable that he had gone out of his way to destroy it. All that seeemed left was the Banana. However, Garrick looked quite stuffed to the gills, leaning back in his chair, slouched, with a puffed out belly. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii nodded her head and scooted next to Garrick from the other side of the table where Ancelin and Tyler where only moments ago. She picked up a spoon and filled it with the mushed greens, before holding it up to the little boys mouth. "Garrick, open wide. You're not going anywhere until you finish your plate. Who knows when your next meal will be?" she insisted. Her eyes then glanced up to Ro acrossed the table. "You and me are having private time when we get home." Arcturus Highwind "NO!" Garrick snapped at Onii. His lips shut tight, his face bunched up. His chubby little arms folded over his full little belly. His head turned away from the foul spoon filled with those Vile Weeds. Yi Jen Ro just smiled a little at the 'command' that Onii gave. He wasn't opposed to it after all, so he was more than willing to go along with it. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii smirked at the small child and reached out. "You're gonna eat it weather you like it or not!" she said before she clasped her fingers firmly over the boys nose. he'd have to open his mouth sooner or later to breath, and there was no way the kid was smart enough to just open his lips without parting his teeth. Arcturus Highwind The poor kid. He twisted and thrashed about with chubby little toddler arms at Onii's hand. Trying to get his nose clear. Not that he was really aware of "choking" in a conscious sense, but there was that layer of panic and fear as he was running low on breath. In the end however, he had to breath. His mouth open, just a little, to let out a long held breath before opening wide to gulp down a huge chunk of Fresh Air. Yi Jen Ro just shook his head. It was a really cruel trick. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii grinned with triumph as she shoved the spoonful into Garricks mouth. "In comes the broccoli express!" She said before she removed the empty spoon from the boys mouth and re-shoveled. She then leened down to eye level with the boy, giving him a devious stare. "Now do you want to be a good boy and eat your greens or must we repeat this until you're light headed and all the food is gone?" Arcturus Highwind The kid seemed to be coughing behind puffy cheeks and sealed lips as the brocolli was shoved in. However, he didn't say anything. Not until Onii was going on with her threat. At that point, Projectile HOOOO! He spit out the Vile Weed at high speeds, right towards her face that was, after all, eye level. And he had aimed the brocolli to go right into her own mouth. Yi Jen Ro did his best to keep from laughing. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii let out a loud 'argh!' and dropped the spoon, one hand quickly whiping the gunk away, flinking broccoli bits here and there, the other covering her eye. "My eye! You got it in my eye!" She whined, trying to rub it out. Honestly, who was more of the child here? The small chubby blob in the high chair or the big busted woman trying to defeat him? Arcturus Highwind Garrick stuck out his tongue, blowing raspberries out at Onii, apparently having picked up the gesture from one of the City Kids running around the restaurant. However, while Onii was distracted and blinded, Garrick went to work on "Giant Slaying". He grabbed up the half banana from his plate, weilding it as his mighty weapon as he stood up in his chair. One, two, three. Garrick leaped out from his chair, free hand grabbing at whatever handhold he could get to, his legs kicking to climb up Mount Onii Shadow of the Collosus style. And the banana? He took a mighty swing of it, trying to shove it in her mouth. Turnabout Revenge for the Toddler. Though his food didn't look as foul as what she used. And still Yi Jen Ro remained in his seat, smiling from Ear to Ear and trying to keep hismself from laughing. It was only partially successful, and his shoulders were shaking with mirth. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii uncovered her eye and gasped when the child had latched onto her and shoved the banana in her mouth. Granted, this wasn't an odd image to see Onii, what with a banana in her mouth and all, but she didn't appreciate it in all her agony of having spit and mashed greens in her retinas. She glared her puffy and blood shot eye at the child clinging to her side and quickly latched her arm around the boys neck, putting him in a headlock. She then spit out the banana and smirked. "That's it! Noogies!" She said before she began digging her ringed knuckles into the boys scalp. Arcturus Highwind "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!" Garrick was crying out loudly as he tried to wiggle his big eared head out of the lock, but sadly, was mostly unsuccessful, still feeling those cruel, cruel knuckles digging into his scalp. He was thrashing his legs about behind Onii, pushing on her back trying to get away. Yi Jen Ro couldn't help it. He was laughing fully now and openly. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii smirked and ceased from digging her knuckles into the boys scalp, but did not relinquish her hold on the boys head planted firmly between her arm and side. She then looked to the banana, before she grabbed it and shoved it into the wailing childs mouth. "Ha! Eat the banana! Eeeeeat it!" Oh yes, there was nothing wrong with a succubus shoving a banana into a toddlers mouth. Nothing at all. Arcturus Highwind "MURFLEPB!" Garrick cried out, almost choking as that crazy Onii shoved the food down his mouth. He was gagging, but chewing on the banana as a matter of necessity. Soon enough he calmed down, mashing it up in his mouth and enjoying it. Vegetables: Zero Fruits: One Course he was THAT effective of an eater, and was nearly stuffed to the gills. Two mouthfuls of food down the hatch, and he was spitting up the rest of it onto Onii's lap, just unable to fit any more food into his little Toddler Belly. Tenshi_Kuronaho Onii quickly removed the toddler from her lap when he began to choke up food, letting it fall to the stool. "Well, I think Garrick is full.. Shall we return home for the evening?" she asked as she looked to Jen Ro, giving him a playful leer to seeing him get so much enjoyment out of their spat. She was eager to flush out her eye and change into some clean clothes. And get Garrick to a babysitter for the night. Arcturus Highwind Garrick's eyes glassed over. Despite not having food in his mouth he still seemed to have puffy cheeks. He was moving slowly, and the only noises he was making were impossible to decipher murmurs. Yi Jen Ro just shook his head as he picked the chubby, overstuffed Toddler up, slinging him under his left arm. The kid looked about ready to pass out. "... I hope he doesn't become a glutton..." he muttered as he stepped away from the table. "Come on, let's go." ((RP END?))

Damn Brat "So you're original home was destroyed by contractors putting in a road? That's terrible." An said to seemingly no one while she filled a small artifical pond with feeder fish from the pet store. "I would of pecked the guys eye out if I where you." She said with a nod. To any other ears out there they would of heard a 'caw' sound in reply, but to Ancelin it sounded like a hearty laugh. She was currently taking care of the wild bird that had nested outside her house recently. A twack and a loud rustle of sticks and leaves came from the woods near the Kuronaho manor. Another and another, coming out in 5 second bursts, most likely terrorfying every little critter within 20 yards of the source. TWACK! TWACK! TWACK!
It was coming closer, a small little monster in the brush, thrashing through thick folliage with an animalistic warcry of, "GWAAAAAAA!" and light laughter. Ancelin stood up as the large winged bird flew away. Her brow furrowed and she looked over to where the noise was coming from. That laughter, she recognized the voice. "Oh god." She said as she walked over towards the soarce of the sound. "Jen Ro, I know you're out there. You should put a mute in that kid's mouth if you want to keep up the element of surprise." she said curtly, crossing her arms. TWACKTWACKTWACKTWACK! A flurry of action, clearing out the last of the undergrowth blocking the sight. To reveal a young little Elk Toddler, holding a stick in two hands, breathing heavily and laughing, with a wide path of beaten bush destruction behind him. "Wha yaw?" Garrick called out, finally looking up and spotting the crazy Sinaeis girl. But from Yi Jen Ro? There was no answer, at least, none yet. Nor was he within sight. Ancelin stared down at the child and then the path trailing behind him. Was he playing Rambo or something? She reached down and pat the young toddlers orange hair.
"Where's your father, Garrick?" She asked as her eyes scanned the horizon, perhaps with Onii? She didn't picture that man to be the type to just let the kid wander aimlessly. Especially at his age. But the man did seem rather wild, and she could think of a handful of animals that would abandon their children at a young age. "Are you all alone?" She asked, looking down to the boy. Little Garrick's face smushed up as his hair was patted, his head retreating back towards his shoulders, inching away from the hand. But no, he moved not from his spot, rooted to the ground, still holding onto his stick, though the 'business end' was resting on the ground. "Eee... dunno?" Garrick said, looking left and right, and back towards the woods. His eyes scanned through the trees, looking for a familiar shape. But nothing came to his eyes. His throat was constricting, he was sniffling, his eyes tearing up as he turned around, looking through the woods again. A few snuffles, and it was obvious he was about to start crying. Ancelin's face contorted when she realised that the kid had managed to get himself lost. She looked at the child's face scrunching up preparing to wail, if the kid cried every bird, toad and creature within a mile radious was going to freak.
"There there, don't cry." She said as she knelt down to eye level with the boy. "Tell ya what, how about you come inside and play with me until your daddy comes to find you? I'll call Onii and tell her to keep an eye out for him. Okay?" She said, trying her best to sound comforting as she baby talked the child. "There's no need to cry, I'll protect you."
.. Says the semi-chubby pheasant girl who recently lost her wings in a freak car accident. Little Garrick sniffed again, a snort which had to be related to some snot lodging back into his nose rather than dribbling down his face. His shoulders were shaking and he dropped his Stick. "Waaaaaaaaai?" he whimpered out towards Ancelin. He suddenly came forward, clinging onto Ancelin's shirt, blowing snot and slime into her shirt. He seemed to be calming down at the very least, no longer threatening to cry. Ancelin's eye twiched as the child used her shirt for a hanky. Well, it was a work shirt anyways, one she wore because she anticipated getting dirty in the disgusting outdoors. She sighed and wrapped her left arm under the child's knees and her right around his back, before she hoisted him up into the air against her chest.
"There there." She said to the child as she stumbled back and regained her balance. Once she was certain that she could stand without face planting, she continued to carry the kid into the kitchen threw the back door. "Are you hungry? We've got food." Garrick seemed to brighten up at that. He peeled his head away from it's snotrag position, looking out to see where they were going. His eyes were wide and he called out, "ellow staff!" quite excitedly. "Yellow stuff?" Ancelin said as she tried to think of yellow foods. Lemons? Bananas? Squash? Eh, he'd find something. She set the boy down on the kitchen floor, before carefully removing her work shirt. Underneath she had on a tight blue tank top. She anticipated she'd eventually have to rip the shirt off for some filthy reason. It just wasn't the reason she anticipated. Walking over to the fridge she opened the door, before looking back to Garrick. "Does anything in here look good?" She asked, there where containers of leftovers everywhere. Some lasagna from two nights ago, some meatloaf from three; even fried chicken from the night before. There where enough side dishes to feed china, ranging from mashed potatos to mac and cheese. On the top shelf where random beverages that needed to be kept cold, An's lemonaid, Aru's beer, Sesshomaru and Shi's blood. Yes the fridge was a frozen smorgishbort for those in need of sustinance. Garrick might have been set down, but he didn't remain down. The moment that Ancelin started moving Garrick with right in step beside her. And when Ancelin opened the door, Garrick with right there ploughing on ahead. His little hands reached out towards the fridge, but rather than grasping at anything he seemed to be trying to climb the shelves, reaching towards the top shelves for something that apparently caught his eye, all the while making little grunts and groans of struggle and frustration during his attempt to climb Mount Icebox. Ancelin reached out and picked the child up again, holding him in the air so he could see the higher up goods. "What do you want to try? Just point to it and I'll get it for you. It's not safe to climb." she explained.
While Ancelin was busy holding up the child, a teenaged red-headed boy walked in after hearing all the commotion. He stared blankly at Ancelin in disbelief. She was holding a child? He crossed his arms and continued to stare, not saying anything. "DWA!" Garrick called out, reaching out, stretching as far as he could into the fridge. His chubby little hands flailed about, going for whatever had caught his eyes. In this case, Aru's beer, which to him looked like those Juiceboxes that he had before. The other? A container of the "Blood", which to him looked like that Jello stuff. Given the chance, he'd knock both off the shelves and towards the floor, then grunting and wiggling to be let down to have at his prizes. Ancelin glanced to where the child's hands where going. Oooooh no, she wasn't letting this kid turn into another infant drunkie like Aru nor was she reliving the Jan+blood incident. She pulled the child further back away from the fridge, so he couldn't reach the shelves. "No no, those aren't for little children. If you're thirsty I can get you some water or apple juice." She said, turning his attention to the half gallons of juice sitting in the bottom rack of the fridge door. "NAA!" Garrick screamed out, reaching for the "juicebox" and "jello" again. He was tensing up, wiggling and fighting against Ancelin's hold on him as he strained to get back up to the level with the "good stuff" on it, rather than this unrecognizable huge blocks. If it came to it, and he was having enough trouble he'd even try to hit Ancelin's hands to let him go and get back towards the stuff. Ancelin sighed and spun around with the child, before she closed the door with her butt. She rested her weight on the door, looking down to the child. "If you're gonna misbehave I'm just gonna lock you in the nursery and pick something for you myself." She said, before she glanced upward at the boy who was still staring.
"Oh, hello Oliver." She said to the boy, who just rose his eyebrow at her in confusion. "Dont' look at me like that, I found him wandering in the back yard. I told the kid I'd watch him till his father came to fetch him." she explained. Oliver's agape jaw finally closed, and his stare went down to the kid rather than Ancelin.. Such an odd looking child. Compared to Ancelin? Probably not all that odd looking. But Garrick seemed to lock eyes with Ancelin's mismatched ones. He was frowning deep, face mushed up as he went into the staredown with Ancelin. He wasn't hitting though, or screaming. Or throwing a fit. Not at the least, but he obviously was Not Happy with her. "Baty Inch!" he finally barked out at her, still frowning, but the fight seemed to be over. Ancelin stared down at the child. "I'm not a bat." She retorted, before she held the boy out to Oliver. Oliver went wide eyed and quickly caught Garrick, struggeling to keep the child balanced on his chest. His green eyes darted back towards An in confusion as his mouth gaped open again.
"Oh just hold him while I get the kid a plate of food." she said as she opened the fridge. She quickly tossed three food containers up onto the kitchen cabnet and pulled out the jug of apple juice. After closing the door and started rummaging about the kitchen, filling up a plate and preparing to put it in the microwave. "'toopid," Garrick called out after Ancelin as he was handed off like so many potatos. He started smiling, even seeming to giggle over how "stupid" Ancelin was, for whatever reason. Who knows what his weird little speach impediments and toddler mind came up with. Now in new hands he looked up towards Oliver. His chubby little hands came up towards his face, patting it down from forehead to jaw, even hooking a thumb into his nose for a bit during his 'patdown'. "Ho?" he questioned Oliver. Ancelin tossed the plate into the microwave and set the time for two and a half minutes, before she looked over to the little boy. She understood that word. "Look who's talking. You went and managed to get yourself seperated from your father all because you wanted to use a stick as a machete." She retorted, before looking up to Oliver, who was still staring at the kid in shock.
"He belongs to Onii's boyfriend." she explained, to which Oliver gave a faint nod. He then looked up to An with his eyebrows furrowing forward, to which An nodded. "Don't worry, I plan on calling her as soon as I make sure this kid gets fed. This guy seems to be homeless, so who knows when the last time this kid ate was." Garrick's head plopped against Oliver's shirt, missing out on all these little face signs. He was snuffling again, snot flowing onto Oliver's shirt. His shoulders were shaking, and he seemed to be sobbing, obvious to what else was happening around him. Oliver looked down to the child and frowned. He gave the boy a gentle hug and began rocking him back and forth in his arms. Unlike Ancelin the thought of snot on his shirt didn't horrify him, although he didn't like the sight of a boy crying. He then began blowing air out between his teeth, doing his best to make a 'sssh'ing sound with his lack of a voice.
Ancelin frowned as she looked at the child and then the microwave. She sighed, she shouldn't be mean to him. She remembered when she was little getting lost, and she was terrified. She got a glass and filled it up with the apple juice, before she set a straw in it and walked over to Garrick. "Here you go little guy.. Are you thirsty?" "BAD!" Garrick called out, loud enough that it was heard even with his head burried in Oliver's chest. He seemed to be wiggling into it even more. As if he could try to wiggle into the point where he'd disappear entirely within the other, strange boy. His hands were pulled up tight against his chest, his legs curling up too, almost as if he was trying to curl into a ball like a potato bug. Ancelin tilted her head to the side and frowned. "Alright, I can take a hint." She said as she put the glass on the table. "Oliver, can you watch him while I go call Onii?" She asked, Oliver gave a quick faint nod. With that Ancelin left the room.
The microwave dinger went off and Oliver looked down at the boy in confusion. With a quick heave to lift the kid higher onto his body, he walked over and opened the door with one hand. After retreiving the plate and setting it on the table, he began attempting to help Garrick sit into a chair with booster seat already set in it. He was clueless as to what to do with this child. After all, how could he comfort the boy when he couldn't even speak? "Bwa?" Garrick muttered, now that Ancelin was gone, and he was physically peeled away from Oliver. He wiggled down into his booster seat, complying fairly well and with minimal fuss. His eyes kept wandering around the kitchen, finally settling on the plate, and whatever strange "city food" had been laid out before him. Oliver went and retreived some plastic silverwear from the counter and returned with a fork which he gave to the boy. It was one of those 'zoo pals' forks, and this one was shaped like a squid. Oliver glanced down to see what she had given the boy to eat. Some mac and cheese, some of the meat loaf, and what looked to be jello squares with chunks of pear in it. Well, it seemed kid friendly enough. He then sat down at the table and folded his hands, keeping at eye on the boy nervously. The fork sadly didn't get to see much use. Before Oliver even returned Garrick's chubby left hand had grasped up a fistfull of Macaroni and Cheese. He was stuffing it into his mouth, some of the food squirting out between his fingers and out the corner of his mouth. He seemed quite happy now though, forgetting about Ancelin's meanness as he two fisted his food, silverware be damned. Oliver sat there and stared at the child in amazement. Such lack of table mannors, maybe the kid was homeless? That or just completely lacking a mother figure. Never the less he was glad the kid was done crying and was content to stuff his face.
Just then Tenshi walked into the kitchen and crossed her arms, staring at the specticle before her. She'd never seen this kid before. "Friend of yours, Oliver?" She asked as she stared at the kid with half open green eyes. Oliver shook his head and pulled out his sketch pad, before he quickly jotted something down and held it out to Tenshi. She looked over the paper and then back at the child. "Oookay." She said, and with that the 'gaurdian' of the household took her disinterested leave. Oliver sighed "Bwa?" Garrick muttered around a mouthful as Tenshi came and went just out of the corner of his eye. He turned to stare at the strange lady as she walked away, gurgling something incomprehensible to all but himself. "Wa ya moot?" he asked Oliver as he turned back, and grabbed up a fistfull of Jello. Oliver looked back to the child and let his mouth purse open. He highly doubted this child could read. So instead he lifted his arms up and shrugged in a 'who knows' motion.
A few moments later Ancelin came back into the room wearing new clean clothes and with a phone in her hand. "Onii said she'll put a note on her door for Ro incase he comes looking for the kid and come here shortly to help look after him. He'd probably feel better with someone he trusts here anyways." Ancelin said, more to Oliver than to Garrick. Oliver nodded, before he smiled to the boy. He heard Onii gush about him before, so he'd be fine with her right? The Big Evil One was back! Garrick was on general quarters, his little fists grabbing up another load of food... when quite suddenly he twisted about in his chair, letting loose in his Toddler Fury Barrage. Jello and mangled Meat Loaf and Mac and Cheese flying out towards her new shirt and face. Victory shall be his! Ancelin quickly side stepped and let out a loud scream of frustration. "You damn brat! Why the hell was I ever nice to you?!" She screamed as she walked out of the room to go get her barrage of cleaning supplies.
Oliver quickly reached out and grabbed the boys wrists, stopping him from throwing. He made a deep frown as his eyebrows turned upward. He shook his head and made a sad expression, as if asking why the boy was being so mean to his friend. "Bad baty polk," Garrick answered Oliver, seeming to pick up enough of his expressions to understand what he was meaning. He did try to wiggle his wrists out of Oliver's grip, but didn't fight too hard against it. Unless he started hurting him, that is, in which point he'd do everything he could, even bite, to get out. Oliver let go of the boy once Ancelin was gone. He got out of his chair and retreived a few paper towels, before he began picking up the food that had been chucked acrossed the room. With any luck it wouldn't leave a stain. All hell broke loose when there where stains.
The kitchen door then quickly flung over to reveal a winded Onii. She quickly walked acrossed the room to Garrick and gave the boy a quick once over, panting heavily. "Garrick, are you okay sweetie?! You're not hurt are you?" "Bad baty polk," Garrick repeated towards Onii. His little fingers pointed back towards the door that Ancelin had run away towards, and where Oliver was probably cleaning up food. "Bad baty polk," he repeated again, pouting this time. His eyes went down towards the table, head hung low. He was snuffling again, the last bits of his meal forgotten.Onii frowned and pulled up a chair, sitting besides Garrick. "Aww there there, nobodys gonna baby talk you now. Don't be sad. We're gonna find Yi Jen Ro and then you can come stay with me for a little while, okay?" She said, trying to comfort the boy.
Oliver sighed and tossed the food that he could pick up in the trash wadded in a paper towel. He then looked over towards Onii, as per her usual she was ignoring him again. He simply shook his head and wet a wash cloth, getting ready to scrub the floor. ... Garrick looked up at Onii. He stared dead at her, eyes teared up. His mouth opened, and after a momentary pause he finally spoke. "Wa bad baty polk stel ee?" Onii tilted her head as she remembered the conversation with An on the phone. "No no, sweetie. An didn't steal you. She was trying to protect you because you where lost." She said with a nod, gently stroking Garrick's ears to sooth him.
"She just wanted you to be where you where safe until we can find Yi Jen Ro." She nodded. Garrick seemed to frown to himself, not entirely following what he was being told, leaning in just slightly as though being closer would suddenly bring new understanding to some strange words. "No bad baty polk?" Onii smiled and shook her head. "No bad city folk. They're my friends. They want to protect you and keep you safe. We're good city folk." She said before she planted a soft kiss on the boys forehead. Garrick wiggled away from the kiss, wiping down his forehead with the back of his hoodie sleave. He licked his sleave afterwards, and wiped at his forehead again, eyes squinted shut. Just like he saw little Ane do before. "Evan boo haired baty inch?" Onii thought for a moment. She admitted she wasn't fond of her sister, but at the very least she wouldn't bring physical harm to the boy. "Even her. Ancelin's crazy but she wouldn't hurt you." She said with a nod, smiling.
Oliver sent Onii a sharp glare from the floor when he heard the crazy comment. Ancelin was crazy, she was just stern and strong willed in her ways. He snorted and stood up, going to help Ancelin get cleaning supplies. They'd need the carpet cleaner for this one. "But... ba..." Garrick shut his mouth and frowned. It didn't quite make sense, but he wasn't sure exactly to make out of everything. Least not right now. His brows furrowed as he shoved it towards the back of his mind, hoping to remember it later. "Wa 'Safe'?"
Meanwhile...
A certain Desert Nomad was approaching the Kuronaho house, having followed the trail of a certain troublesome little kid and his kidnapper. He was stomping towards the kitchen door, ready to crack a skull if it came to that..."It means free from harm. That you wont get hurt." Onii explained as she sat back in her chair and folded her arms. She tilted her head to the side and began thinking, how the hell was she gonna get Garrick back to Yi Jen Ro? It wasn't like he had a cell phone or anything, but she was starting to think it might be a good idea to buy him one.
"How did you get seperated from Yi Jen Ro anyways? He doesn't seem the type to ignore you." Garricks mouth opened up. And closed just as suddenly, not saying anything. A moment later it popped open again, his thought having returned to him. "Wa 'boot alls thas times..." he muttered. Flashbacks to evil Babies. Evil Kitties, the time An tried to drown him, and all those other times he was 'hurt' by these people. Finally the question came back to his mind, and he answered up, "Huntin'!" quite excitedly.
Meanwhile...
Stomp, stomp, stomp. Up the stairs. Yi Jen Ro had murder in his eyes. He was up at the kitchen door now, slamming a heavy foot against the portal, nearly ripping it off the hinges as the blow did open the door. Onii quickly shot her head over in the direction of the door in surprise. When she recognized the person who opened it though, she relaxed. "The door was unlocked you know." She said, Tenshi was going to be pissed when she saw the damage being done to her kitchen over a kid who managed to get himself lost.
"Where have you been? Ancelin found Garrick wandering around behind the house and you where nowhere to be seen. We where worried." Yi Jen Ro frowned, seeing that Garrick's hunger had been spoiled by that horrible City Food once more. Lean was one thing, putting on weight was another. But he was afraid that kid would become a bloated behemoth at this rate. He shook his head, stepping inside slowly. Where you could see what he had been "hunting". 5 birds, small, which had been plucked already, being held together by their feet in his left hand.
"We were hunting. He was driving out the prey... I told him I was only a few minutes behind." Truth, apparently, couldn't have been more than 5-8 minutes since Garrick had arrived.
Garrick burbled to himself, torn it seemed between sadness and joy. He wiggled around, crawling out of his chair so he was standing in it, rather than sitting down. It seemed he was looking for a way down without falling all the way to the floor from so high up. Onii turned to Garrick and picked him up from his underarms and set him on the floor, before she carried the plate, fork and untouched glass of apple juice to the sink. "I see." she said, before she turned around and walked back over to the table. Her eyes then went back to the door, which was hanging off of it's bottom hinge. Now free Garrick waddled over quick as his little legs could reliably take him towards Yi Jen Ro. Once there he clung onto his left leg, saying quite clearly, "Crazy say you gone. You leave me!"
Yi Jen Ro shook his head slowly, muttering darkly to himself. He reached down, rubbing Garrick's hair with his hand. "No, I wasn't gone."
He shook his head again, "Your sister?" he asked Onii. Onii sat down and nodded. "Ancelin found him when she was taking care of her birds. She said you where nowhere to be seen and she was afraid he had gotten lost from you." she said as she rested her elbows on the table and laced her fingers together, resting her chin on her hands. "Sorry he was such trouble, didn't mean to bother ya. But for some reason a lot of the meat seems to be coming over here lately," Yi Jen Ro offered. After all, he had caught 5 birds with apparently nothing more than his hands. Or at least, he didn't carry anything else right now, nor was he known to be seen with any sort of weapons or tools.
Yi Jen Ro stared down towards Garrick, ready to reprimand him for his 'trouble making'. It was then the kid looked up, tears in his eyes. He was looking everywhere except at Yi Jen Ro's eyes, his little mind working in overdrive, though what he was grinding away at... who knows? "That's because they're Ancelin's pets. She's been taking care of them." came Tenshi's returning voice from the kitchen door. She had been attracted by the sudden loud noise, and was currently staring at her destroyed kitchen door. She stood in the doorway with her arms crossed over her chest, a firm expression on her face.
Onii eyed the birds that Yi Jen Ro was holding, before she sighed and looked away. "Thank god you didn't kill those harrons. I don't think she'll notice such small birds missing." Yi Jen Ro looked up at the new entrance. Someone he didn't recognize. Someone who might have been anywhere from 20 to 20,000, it was so hard to tell by looking with all the Demons, Angels, and Supernatural weirdness after all. But she seemed to have a command presence to him.
"The matriach?" Garrick, meanwhile, had taken the opportunity to 'hide', going behind Yi Jen Ro's legs, burying his face in the desert man's limb so he wouldn't have to see or deal with any more mean people... and perhaps to dodge his punishment. Onii shook her head. "No no, the harrons are these big big birds An's been taking care of, with long necks and black feathers." she explained, to which Tenshi gave a faint shake of her head.
"I believe he means me, Onii. My name is Tenshi. I own this house and I'm the one who raised Onii and the others." She said, looking to the nomad standingi n her doorway. "I'm assuming you're friends with Onii?" Yi Jen Ro paused himself, his eyes looking up and to the right, as he tried to figure out exactly what Onii was to him. Friends... didn't really fit, after all. Nor did most terms he could think of. In the end, he answered the closest he could figure.
"I think... no... we are..." he paused once more, "heathens?"
Poor Garrick was happy to have the distraction, finally peeling himself away from the adult as he found out no one was watching him. Least not yet. But he knew enough to know he'd be in trouble. Thus with full toddler power he made a run for the door.

So We Have An Agreement? Whistling could be heard in the city as a young girl walked along the sidewalk. Ancelin was currently whistling a tune from the Phantom of the Opera soundtract which she heard Oliver listening to earlier. She didn't know the words, so she whistled instead, which was a blessing for everyone around because her whistling was actually pleasant instead of her terrible off key singing.
She seemed to be walking towards the local strip mall where all the restronts where located. Possibly giong to grab a bite to eat?Jan was actually stretched out on a bench inside the large mall's courtyard, right next to the foodcourt. In front of the large fountain she has her knapsack's strap looped around her wrist, eyes closed. Taking a nap, perhaps? She was in a fitted jacket with a small hoodie underneath, a belt, and some dark blue jeans. Startlingly stylish, as usual.
Ancelin would probably be walking past the blonde, who's hair was being hit by the sunlight in a way that made it shine, in just a few minutes. What a coincidence.Just as fate would have it, Ancelin paused beside the park bench, blocking the sunlight from the blonds face. Her whistling ceased as she bent over slightly. "Why hello there." She said with a bright smile in regards to the younger girl.
Ancelin was wearing one of her new outfits bought to cover up her back. A form fitted dress with baby-doll sleeves and a collar, it was dark navy blue with pin stripes. In her hands behind her back she held her dyed yellow tweed woven bag, which was currently replacing her backpack for the day. Jan's brown eyes quickly slid open and she raised her brows before smiling slowly, carefully. "Ancelin." The blonde sat up, running a hand through her short hair and making room on the bench, just in case. "... Hey... How're ya?" They hadn't seen each other since the club incident. Of course, they'd texted and stuff, just like any other teenagers, but seeing and texts were different. Ancelin continued to stand, but straightened her back out once the other teenager sat up. "I'm doing alright. I had a craving for a burger so I figured I'd come out and grab a bite to eat. Maybe do some shopping for my new apartment." She said, before she adjusted the hem of her skirt so he would go back down to her knees.
"How are you doing? Just catching some sun?" "Ah, so ya moved, then?" Jan didn't comment on the burger. After all, she was a vegetarian. Rubbing at her head [she really liked to touch her own hair] Jan glanced around. She'd been working in the garden for most of the day and had come to do some clothes shopping when she'd just decided to take a little break and relax. "Just chillin', 'bout t'shop." A little bit awkward for the two of them, but not overly so. Ancelin nodded her head, keeping her smile as she watched the younger girl play with her hair. She blushed a little as she remembered the last time they where together and she played with the soft locks, but quickly turned her attention away from that thought by looking to the stores. "I see.. Well if you're up for having company, I can help you carry your bags?" She asked, hoping to see what kind of clothes the girl would buy. Jan grinned, her smile charming and fierce, like usual as she got to her feet, nodding slowly. She actually had a fuzzy memory of that night, since she'd been so drunk. She did know, however, that things had gotten briefly fun, that she'd felt good, and then there'd been miscommunication and crying. Oh, well. "Sure, y'kin come 'long."
slinging her knapsack over one shoulder she headed toward a surfstore. New tanks and shorts. Then maybe some cuter stuff. Ancelin hoisted the strap of her bag over her shoulder, while she hugged it to her side with her bent arm. She then gave persuit after the taller girl, free arm swinging at her side. "How goes work at the club? Still enjoying it there?" She asked, holding the door open for Jani to go inside along with letting a few customers out. "Uh, yea, pay's good." Jan didn't really like getting hit on by gay guys all the time, though. a**l was never going to be her thing. Grabbing a few small tanks in various colors, she headed for the fitting rooms. "Hey, I'll be righ' back. Ef ya see anythin' I shoul' try on, lemme know." Ancelin nodded her head as the blond walked off. She heaved a small sad sigh, she had kinda hoped she'd be able to watch Jani change, after all, she would always go in the fitting room with Tenshi, Vincent or Oliver if they where clothes shopping together.
Ancelin began browsing the racks idly while Jani was in the fitting room. She wasn't really familiar with 'surf wear'. It mostly all just seemed to be tank tops and brightly colored baggy shorts. Jan didn't really mess around in stores. The tanks fit, so she came on out and grabbed a pair of sunglasses, two caps, and a pair of flipflops before meeting up with Ancelin. Maybe she should get a bathing suit, too...? "Alrigh', I think I migh' be ready. Y'fin anythin'?" 10 minutes. Tops. Ancelin was standing in the bathing suit section when Jan had returned. She seemed to be eyeing an outfit in specific. "Ah, maybe.. What do you think of this?" she asked as she pulled the suit off the rack. The top had two straps for the breast that where robins egg blue with a darker blue strap that wrapped around the rib cage. It apeared to be the kind that tied around the back of the neck. The bottom had a matching dark blue waiste strap and crotch peice, with a robins egg mini skirt.
"Maybe a little too revealing..?" she questioned, looking to the younger girl for advice "That woul' look nice on ya." Plus the skirt covered up and made it seem for reserved. Jan's eyes scanned the suits as well before grinning and picking two off the rack. One a brilliant white and the other golden yellow. Both bikinis, although the white one had small shorts as a bottom.
"which one, ya think?" Ancelin eyed her outfit for a few more seconds before looking as if she came to a sudden realization and put it back on the rack. She then retreived one much similar, accept the top was a turtle neck style that would cover her back yet show more cleavage.
She then turned her attention back to Jan, and eyed the suits with a raised brow. "Hmmmmm... I like the white one. The shorts seem more you." She said with a smile. *"I'll try 'em both," Jan grinned and headed for the changing rooms, gesturing for Ancelin to come along. "Yer gonna try tha' one, righ'?" The tall girl disappeared into her curtained off little room, quickly disrobing and slipping on the yellow bikini first. Ancelin nodded and followed after the taller girl, taking the stall behind her. With a zip and a quick slip she was out of her dress. She took off her bra and slid on the top, but left her panties on when she put on the bottom. Who knew who might of tried the suit before her.
She looked herself once over in the mirror, turning around to make sure all of her shoulder blades where covered. She then bent over a little and gave her rear a good shake. Ah, the good old 'a** check'. Once satisfied that it fit well, she poked her head out of the curtan and looked towards Jan's stall, to see if she was gonna get to see how hers looked. "Do yours fit alright?" Jan had seen the yellow suit come straight out of the packing box and therefore wasn't concerned about other people trying it on. And oh, yes. It did fit. Perfectly. She knew her sizes, nowadays, unlike when she'd come back from school in too-small clothes. The girl pulled open the curtains to show Ancelin, doing a small spin. The yellow looked good with her tan. A happy color. "Wow, the yellow ones look great." She beamed. After all, yellow was one of her favorite colors.
Ancelin smiled and emerged completely from her curtain so Jan could see her suit aswell. It fit her well, albiet it was a little snug in the chest area. Still, that was hardly a bad thing with the cut it had, showing off a good bit of middle chest cleavage. The bottoms looked good aswell, but it might have been considered silly seeing as the red lacy painties that she had been wearing sat a little higher on her waiste than her bicini bottoms. Jan checked out the suit on Ancelin before nodding slowly. "We shoul' git these 'uns, I think." Another long moment and she shut the curtains, quickly changing, a small frown on her face. Why did she keep running into Ancelin? It'd be a lot easier to not deal with the girl, or think about the almost-sex they'd had, if she didn't have to see her anymore. Ancelin walked back into her stall and slid out of her suit and back into her regular clothing. Once she had adjusted the suit back on it's hanger she walked out of the dressing stall and began digging around in her purse, searching for her wallet.
Glancing around at the other clothes around her, she idly rocked back and forth on her heels while she waited for Jan. She seemed to be dealing with what had happened pretty well, and had come to terms with it. Not after a week or two of moping, but she was better now. Jan was out pretty quickly, only a minute or so after Ancelin, and the two girls went to the cash register to pay for their things. Once out of the store and back in the main mall, Jan stopped walking, shifting slightly from foot to foot. "So... Wha' now?" They couldn't exactly just say goodbye. Well, Jan could come up with some excuse, but that was awkward... The blonde really didn't know what to do with Anny except kiss her. Ancelin held the bag at her side and thought for a minute. Well, what could they do? Ancelin still wanted that burger, but she knew that Jan probably wouldn't be interested in fast food since the only thing that was vegetarian friendly at Mac Burger was the greasy french fries.
"We could grab a bite to eat... Do you like Japanese food? I know of a restront two blocks away that has great ramen and udon." Those kind of meals could always be made without meat. "Ah, okay, sure." It took them about ten minutes to get there and after they'd been seated and had ordered, Jan played with the spoon for her tea's sugar, before glancing up through her lashes at Ancelin, head tilted down toward her cup. "So... Y'wanna talk 'bout th'other nigh', or...?" Ancelin had been in the middle of attemping to break her chop sticks when Jan asked her question, and the shock of it caused her to break them improperly and leave about a quater inch of one chop stick stuck to the other. Her face flushed a little and she looked up to Jan, before her gaze darted off to the side. "If you want to.. I mean, if you want to say something then I want to hear it.." Now a somewhat amused smile lit the blonde's face and she broke her chopsticks smoothly, handing them over to the other girl. She'd ordered soup, anyway. "Ya dun 'ave anythin' t'say 'bout it, yerself?" Well, that would be an interesting turn of events. Ancelin accepted the chop sticks with a meek 'thanks' and set her broken ones to the side. She thought for a moment, she had tried to push the entire event out of her mind. After the conclusion they came to the morning after. "Well.. I realise that right now you can't trust me and aren't ready for that kind of relationship with me.. So I'm just thankful that you'll still be my friend after all that I've done." She said, her voice low, almost at a whisper. Jan wasn't really the shy type, as we all know, as has been stated. So she didn't bother to lower her voice as the waitress brought their first course. Rice with some great sauces, and Soup for Jan. An appetizer for Ancelin. "Aww, Ancelin, y'know I think yer 'ot as 'ell." That certainly caused the waitress to blush, and Jan tossed her a flirtatious grin as the woman smiled back at them both before hurrying away from the table. Once the young woman had left, Jan turned her brown eyes back to Ancelin. "I jes' canna be a girlfrien' righ' now. Tha's not necessarily yer faul'. Unless ya thin' et's cause y'crushed my lil' ol' 'eart when we were kids, 'r summat."
That was probably one of the longest narrations she'd ever done. Ancelin eyed her tempura, somehow her appitite wasn't as strong as it had been. Still she picked up a peice of sweet potato with her chop sticks and dipped it in her dashi sause, holding it as she let the access drip into the bowel. Her face was bright red from the compliment. Well, she was very happy to hear that Jan found her attractive. "I do believe that has alot to do with it.." She said before she took a bite and chewed slowly. With effort she swallowed, thankful that it made the lump in her throat go down.
"So the reason you don't want to go out with me isn't because of how I was a complete b***h to you when we where little?" Ancelin asked, her voice louder now. She could be blunt as hell if she was putting herself down "Girl," Jan shook her head slowly, sipping her tea and then carefully setting her cup down. "Now, why th' 'ell would ya wanna go out with me en th' first place?" She began to tick off points on her fingers. "Ya 'ave always though' tha one: I'm ugly, two: annoyin', three: stupid, four: I'm dirty, five: tha' my 'obbies suck, six: tha' my freckles shoul' even exist." She leaned forward to tap Ancelin gently on the nose.
"Y'see, yer the one who's naw makin' any sense et all, naw me, honey." Ancelin's face flustered and her lips pursed into a wide frown when Jan tapped her nose. She probably looked odd, thinning those naturally pouty lips of hers. But then went back to normal when she suddenly blurted out. "But I think you're beautiful!!" she then suddenly realised she had yelled that, and covered her mouth as she glanced around at the staring eyes. The waitress probably thought they where insane.
Ancelin sunk in her seat a little and sighed, her face returning closer to it's normal shade of olive. "I was young and stupid." She said as she gave Jan a firm stare. "You're beautiful. You're freckles are so sexy any time I see someone with them I think of you and get excited. You're not stupid. And I have a complete respect for your amazing ability to give life to such beautiful plants..." She paused, before she shoved the rest of the sweet potato slice into her mouth, chewed it, and took a deep swallow.
"I've grown up. I think everything about you is amazing. Like how you can take something from a tiny little seed and turn it into a fruit bearing plant with just the aid of water and soil." She said, careful not to use the word 'dirt'. "Y'mean, usin' dirt?" Jan had no problem with the word. It was Ancelin it who decided it was something bad. Jan would always be dirty.
Jan's face remained slightly amused as she took Ancelin's outburst in stride. She'd evolved from pure lack of expression to always appearing relaxed and humored. Ancelin had grown up? It seemed she was as childish as ever. "Naw everythin's amazin', Ance. Everyone knows people have their flaws. Fer instance, I'm naw interes'ed en a committed relationship righ' now, 'n I dun think there's anythin' ya kin do 'bout that."
The blonde sighed. "I know I'm smart, 'n pretty, 'n even funny, though y'failed t'mention that. I know I kin do grea' things with plants." She actually discovered her job, not that she'd told anyone about that, yet. "Tha' doesn't change th' fact that we've never been compatible before. Why now, allasudden? I come home, 'n yer all over me. Y'were so mad when I left. Y'ated me." Ancelin looked down at her hands and bit her lip. "I could go on for hours about the things I like about you.." She muttered, and then sighed. She closed her eyes tightly. "I know you'll never be mine. That's why I want your friendship. That's why I'm trying not to think about my feelings for you. Because I realise I must make you so uncomfortable with all my compliments when there's no reason that you should even speak to me let alone like me." After all, An liked alot about Jan. But what was there to like about her? She was bi-polar, a neat freak, and her only interests besides cleaning where taking care of birds and fish. Like that would really qualify as a personality? Hardly.
"I was jealous when you left.. I didn't hate you." Jan raised her brows, finished her cup of tea, and began to pour another, her voice low and smooth. "Well, then, y'should'n 'ave made me leave." A long pause as she blew on the liquid to cool it and she took another slow swallow, looking thoughtful. "Never say never. I said I won' be yer girlfrien'. I dunna know all o' wha' tha' means. Yer askin' me t'trust ya, which I already did once before."
The cute waitress returned with another pair of chopsticks for Jan, causing the blonde to shoot her another charming grin. "Thank ya, miss."
"You're welcome. Can I get you anything else?" At Jan's headshake the woman disappeared again, presumably to help others, and Jan continued.
"I dunna know why y'canna accept er unnerstan' tha', Ancelin. Why do ya wan' so much when before y'wanned nothin??" Ancelin opened her eyes when the waitress came and left, and pivited her head back towards Jan. She wasn't touching her food, and had resolved to twirl the straw in her drink to occupy her hands. "Because I was stupid and didn't realise what I wanted, I guess." An shrugged her shoulders.
"You don't want a commited relationship. I understand that." She said, letting her two-tone eyes breifly look to Jan's face. "I wont press the matter of a relationship anymore.. I just want to have you in my life. Are you okay with that? Me just wanting to be near you every now and again. Or are the feelings between us too jaded for you to look at me without thinking of how I feel?" An asked, afraid to hear the answer. "I'm sittin' 'ere, eatin' with ya, aren' I?" Jan shook her head, smiling. Ancelin could be waaaaaay too dramatic, at times. The blonde didn't especially understand why they couldn't be friends with benefits, like Lyrus and Mignon. Or, Lyrus and herself, for that matter. Beginning to eat her rice, she pointed a chopstick at An. "How do ya even know tha's wha' y'wan? Ya've been wron' before, er, so y'say." Ancelin shrugged her shoulders and finally looked down at her food. She took her chop sticks and retreived a peice of esparagus, and resumed a patter of dipping, biting, chewing, swallowing; repeat. Once she had finished the peice she tilted her head. "I just got with how I feel inside. I don't feel around others the way I feel around you.. I kinda used to feel that way about Vin-vin.. But eh, he says I'm just a kid sister to him." She shrugged.
"I guess I should just continue saving myself until it happens, rather than trying to rush it." she finished, before taking a peice of shrimp and eating it. Jan frowned, totally not really following Ancelin's blathering. Why was this girl so complex about everything? "Ancelin. Do ya wanna 'ave sex?" She continued to polish off her small bowl of rice, tone casual. "My place es empty righ' now. We coul' finish eatin', go back t'my place, 'ave sex, then go work on finishin' movin' ya enta yers." Ancelin eyed Jan, how could she always be so calm and so casual? She wondered just how many other people Jan had sex with, it was obvious by now that she wasn't a virgin like she was. An didn't answer at first, she simply continued eating her tempura. Her cheeks where pink, but for the most part she was getting used to Jan's words now. When she finally finished running the scenario threw her mind, she eyed the blond.
"Not today. I'm on my period." She said bluntly, before taking a sip of her tea. "I should be off of it in three more days, if you wanna do something then." Jan's grin was fullforce, she was definitely gunning for Ancelin to turn red. It made Jan feel more relaxed when the other girl was flustered. "Oh, tha'? I dun min' tha' et all." Jan had no problem with periods, just like anyone hardcore. It was just a part of life, after all. Hell, in her opinion, if someone could put up with sperm, they could put up with a period. Rice finished, she moved on to her soup. "But I kin wait, ef ya'd be more comfortable." Ancelin took a good four gulps of her tea and then stayed silent for a few seconds, trying to think of a good reply. Why not throw Jan's bluntness back in her face? Hell, she'd probably like it. "Yeah, I'd rather wait. I want you to taste me." She said, before she continued her meal. She eyed the waitress from acrossed the room, who was beginning to return with a plate of sushi. Depending on how well this conversation continued to go, she'd probably take it to go. Jan's eyebrows jumped briefly before she managed to school her own expression and take a swallow of tea, hiding a smile. Oh, she would definitely have to tell Lyrus about this, later. Ancelin probably would've gotten more of a reaction out of Jan if she hadn't have taken so long to reply. Once the sushi came, Jan didn't bother to wait for the waitress to leave, starting on her soup.
"Friday, then?" An purposely waited to answer to waitress, yeah, she wanted that box. "Could I get a to go box, miss?" "Of coarse." The waitress answered before walking away. An eyed the sushi, before taking a peice between her chop sticks. "Sounds good with me. My place, or yours? I know for a fact my apartment will be empty." She said before she popped the roll into her mouth, chewing slowly to savor the taste. "Yers, then." Jan finished off her soup. She was done eating. Another few swallows of tea and she'd finished that, too. Her tone was careful when she spoke, quiet. Unamused. "Are ya sure?" Ancelin accepted the box when the waitress quickly dropped it off and left. She then began picking up the peices of her leftovers one by one, setting them into the box. ".. I think so." she answered, before she looked up to the blond. "It'd be nice to continue what went on last time. I guess it's a little unfair that I saw so much of you yet you saw nothing of me." after all.. Had Jan seen her breast since they had developed? She didn't believe so. Jan just looked at her. She didn't quite remember getting that naked. She assumed Ancelin was telling the truth, though. Either way, the blonde's eyes had been closed the entire time. Still, whatever, it was irrelevant. When the check came, Jan paid the full amount herself, also leaving a large tip and her number written cheekily on the check with a smiley face. She didn't think the woman would call, it was mainly to fluster the poor waitress.
"Mmmn, well. Es this g'bye, then?" Ancelin made a very strong frown as she eyed the phone number. She then looked up to Jani and quickly made a fake smile, it was so easy to tell with her weather it was real or fake. She wasn't good at hiding her emotions. "Yeah. Gimme a call later if you get the chance." She said before she slid out of the booth and stood. She walked over and gave the blond a kiss on the cheek.
"Take it easy." She whispered into the girls ear, before she walked out the door with her purse and shopping bag on one arm, food container in the other hand.

Just Chill, Kay? Ancelin walked into her room and collapsed on her unmade mattress that was just sitting on the floor. She threw her purse and shopping bag to the side. She had already set the leftovers on the kitchen cabinet after she walked in the door. The girl just laid there, staring at her ceiling, well… glaring, rather. She was staring at the ceiling like it was her worst enemy. Like it had shot her father, stabbed her mother and then ran over her dog with a car all before stealing her virginity and selling her on the black market. Yes, the poor ceiling was her enemy right now. And that was how Ancelin laid for a good hour and a half until the sound of the doorbell rung. Ancelin detached her glare from the innocent roof-top and sent it right at the just as innocent door. "Who is it?!" she barked. "Um.. It's me. Didn't you want me to bring you're vacuum cleaner?" Came Vincent's voice threw the door. Ancelin sat up and let out a sigh. "Be there in a minute." her voice called out, meeker now. She stood up and walked over to the door, undid the locks and opened it for the older man to step inside. Vincent came in with the vacuum rolling behind him. He turned his head to the girl with a frown on his face. "Why'd you yell just now? Is everything okay?" he asked with a concerned gaze. Ancelin closed the door and then looked to Vincent, before leaping forward and hugging him tight. "It's Jani." the girl admitted, muffled by his jacket. "Again?!" ------------------------------------------------------- "I see…" Vincent said from his place on the edge of Ancelin's bed. He was currently running his hand over her head, which was laying in his lap. The young girl had her arms hugged around his leg closest to her, fingers clenching into his pants. "I made it up.. I'm not really on my period. I just didn't know what to do." she said. Vincent nodded. "Yeah.. I understand." "I mean, it's like a dream come true to be able to be close to Jan like that.. But it's just sex, nothing more. And if she's willing to just do it with me.. how many other people has she done it with?" "Mmhmm." "I'm sure I wasn't the only one who changed while she was gone.. Maybe she's not the same person anymore. I barely see her, it's like she avoids me.. And now she wants to have sex?" "Certainly can make a young mind wander." "I don't know if I should really go threw with it. I mean, I want to. But what if it hurts more afterwards." "Is it a risk you're willing to take?" Silence. Vincent smiled and slid his fingers gently under Ancelin's chin, tilting her head up so she was looking at him. "Try not to worry about it so much. Don't think so hard on it.. If you really want to be physically close to her no matter what the consequences, then this might be your only chance and you should take it. Who cares if she's slept with other people? She's young! And so are you. Make mistakes while you've still got the energy and room to get over it." "So you think it would be a mistake?" An asked, wide eyed. Vincent scoffed. "I didn't say that." "So you think I should?" "I think you should go with the flow. If it feels right, do it. If it doesn't, then don't. It's not like the world will end if you don't eat her out." Vincent said as he tapped An's nose. An blushed at his lewd way of putting it. Vincent smiled and began stroking An's cheek. "Just Chill, Kay? If you over think it, only bad things can happen." An nodded and closed her eyes. "Vin-vin..?" She said softly. "Yeah?" "Will you stay here tonight?" "Sure thing, kiddo. I'll help you set up your bedroom. So you don't have to sleep on this bare old mattress." He said with a grin, before his hand suddenly darted between An's legs and behind her thighs. "So cheer up!" He said, going right for her weakest tickle spot. Ancelin erupted in laughter and rolled onto the floor, trying to escape his grasp. "Ack! No! I dun wanna!" she cried, to which Vincent crawled after her, his fingers wriggling against the back of her knees and legs every chance he could get. "I'm gonna make you smile even if you don't like it!" "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!"

Just What I Needed "fuuuuuuuuuuuuu…." Ancelin sighed as she leaned against the counter of the pet store. She was working today. The young pheasant teenager was wearing a black pencil skirt that went up to her mid thighs, with suspenders that went up over her shoulders. She had a white blouse with full sleeves, with little gold paw cuff-links. She wore her Mary Janes, of coarse, but with them she had on white stockings that ran up to her skirt and where held with garters. On her left breast was a little metal tag with her name on it and 'customer service' stamped above it. To top it all off in the back of the skirt was a little fake bunny tail, with a matching bunny ear headband. Why was she wearing this? After she came to work for the pet store they suddenly enlisted new work uniforms. They used to just be polo's and slacks for all employees, but Steve had given her this outfit saying it was 'especially made for her'. It was cute, so she chose to wear it without much protest. Never the less it was hard for her to look sexy as the outfit was intended with that terrible sulking expression that was on her face. Steve couldn't help but intervene. "Why do you look so down, Anny?" Steve asked as he set his hand on the small of An's back. She turned her head and looked up to him, before letting out a soft exhale. "Me and Jani are gonna do it." She said as she turned her head away to stare at the front door again. Steve's face suddenly went flush, and he took a step away from the shorter girl. "W.. wait.. You mean that girl you've known since you where little?" he asked, shock apparent in his voice. "Mmhmm." "… Don't you have a crush on her?" "Mmhmm." "So wouldn't this be a good thing?" "I don't know!" Ancelin blurted out, causing Steve to jump. She spread her arms out as her torso oozed over the countertop. "I've never done it with anybody before. And this is just going to be sex, nothing more. I don't even know what to do, let alone if I go threw with it." the pheasant explained, only to get odd stares from her boss. "I… I see.. I think." Ancelin slowly turned her head so that her cheek laid smooshed against the countertop between her arms, while her two tone eyes looked up at Steve. "I want to do it with her.. But I'm afraid that I'll make a fool of myself because I don't know what to do.. Like, I don't even know how two girls DO that kind of stuff. I don't even know how a guy and a girl do that kind of stuff!" she whined. Steve scratched the side of his cheek, this was definitely not what he was expecting to hear from Ancelin. "So you mean.. you've never done it with anyone?" "No. The only thing I've ever done is kiss somebody.. Although Jan didn't seem to complain." She said, turning her head forward again. Steve crossed his arms and continued to stare at the girl. He didn't know how to answer her problem, nor was he sure he wanted to. He didn't like the idea of An just having sex with a girl that she had feelings for if nothing was going to become of it. Wouldn't that just hurt her more in the end? That and the fact he was a little jealous his cute little co-worker was interested in a girl instead of him. "Well…" He said, trying to avoid an awkward silence. "I don't really know what to say." "That's what everyone says." An said with drone voice. "Well.. I can't solve your problem, but I can help take your mind off of it. How about after our shift ends I take you out to dinner? It'll be my treat." He grinned. An ran the thought over in her head, letting her chin rock back and forth on the table. Finally she stood up straight and turned to Steve, nodding her head with a meek smile. "Sure, that sounds like an alright plan." "Okay! Then we'll do that at 4 when our shift changes!"

Shake It Up The first shift had ended. Steve and Ancelin had headed out to the local PeachWasps for lunch. Steve got the typical “man-food”: Steak quesidias, Buffalo wings and potato skins. Ancelin opted for the soup of the day and a chicken salad. “So are you sure you want to go threw with this? The whole ‘do Jan’ thing.” Steve said as he glanced offward to the side, trying to play it down like it wasn’t that big of a deal. Ancelin forked a cut of lettuce and frowned, before she shook her head. “The way I see it is this might be a once in a life-time chance to be close to Jan. Weather we end up together in the end or not.” She explained, to which Steve frowned. “What’s so great about this girl anyways? I mean, I know she’s really cute and all, but what makes her worth all this turmoil?” “She’s special.” An said with a shrug. “I’ve never exsactly been ‘swimming’ with friends. And I’ve known her since I was a baby. She helped save me when I was kidnapped from a demon. She helped me escape from some crazy tribe of pygmys when I got lost from home. Whenever I’ve been in trouble, she’s always been there for me. Even after I got hit by the car.. She was the first person I saw when I awoke in the hospital.” An said, taking a pause to sip from her tea. “It’s like, no matter what happens I can always expect her to be there for me. Even after all the fights we’ve had. She’s the one constant factor in my life that isn’t there from family obligation,” An said with a smile. Steve just nodded his head slowly, looking off to the side. “I woulda been there too if I could..” He muttered, to which Ancelin tilted her head. “What was that?” “Nothing.” Steve said before he sipped his coke. “It sounds like you two have something special.” He added with a fake smile. An nodded her head contently. “I want to take up this opertunity incase it never comes by again.” She said. “Hey, cute girl at five o’clock.” Steve said as he eyed a bar-tender acrossed the restront. Ancelin rolled her eyes and made an ‘ick’ face. The two continued to converse about things other than Jan for the rest of the meal, mostly concerning movies and things related to work. At the end of the meal there was a small argument over weather Steve would cover An’s half of the bill, and in the end he managed to apease her by agreeing to let her cover the tip. Which she tipped heavy to get revenge on the scruffy haired man.

Lets Go After lunch the two resolved that they where going to go to the local mall so Ancelin could buy some new clothes for the special occasion, among other things. They first stopped threw Spencers and browsed the goods. Ancelin was never really fond of all the sex gag gifts, she found them lewd and juvenile for the most part. But that didn’t stop her from smiling at Steve whenever he would stop and stare at a random teddy bear key chain with a p***s or breast shaped fuzzy dice. After Spencers they dodged a few cell phone hecklers at their booths and went up an escalater. Ancelin was never really one to shop at stores like Hot Topic, Torrid, Abacromby and the likes. She usually would just go for the low-end stores marketed towards middle-aged women with dresses that appealed to her. Steve, well aware of this, was walking towards a store he was aware that Ancelin shopped at, passing right by the other booths without much concern to what they where. Sadly for this poor man Ancelin decided to take a pause in front of one store in particular and stared inside quizzically. It only took a few seconds for Steve to realise he wasn’t being followed, and he turned his head to relocate the missing presence at his side. He looked to An’s eyes and then to what she was looking at, before his face turned a bright shade of pink. “An.. Why’re you stopping in front of Victoria’s Secret?” he asked as he walked back towards the girl, scratching his cheek as his eyes tried to trial everywhere but the pink pantie infested store. Ancelin stayed silent for a moment, before she suddenly shot her gaze to Steve, her cheeks pink flush matching his own. “I want to go in here,” blurted out Ancelin, who had quickly began fiddling with her fingers. Steve gulped and looked back at the store. Urgh! How this woman tortured him so. “But… But why?” “Because I want something special to wear in front of Jan.” An said, before she reached out and took Steve’s hand. “You know what looks good. Common, I need you to help me pick something out!” she said, before she drug the poor embarrassed young man inside.

Why Can't I Have You? Steve stood with his arms behind his back, staring at the floor. It was the only thing besides pink stuffed dogs he could look at without suffering from a semi and massive embarrassment. Every now and again he’d look at Ancelin’s ankles when she walked away from him, and would immediately follow. But he dare not glance up to see what the girl was picking out. “What color do you think would look best on me?” An asked. “I don’t know.” Steve would quickly mutter. “Half cups or full cups?” ”I don’t know..” “Do you think I should get a garter belt?” He blushed. Ancelin turned her head and looked to him, seeing that he was currently reading the back of a perfume bottle entitled ‘Pure Seduction’. The girl leaned in closer and eyed the bottle, before she looked up to Steve. “Does it smell good?” She asked, to which Steve cocked his head to the side. He didn’t actually smell it, so he took this opportunity to hold the tester up to his nostrils and sniff it. “I can’t really tell,” he said before holding the bottle out. Ancelin took it and spritzed it on her wrists, before she rubbed her index finger over it to help rub the alcohol in. Once satisfied she held her wrist out to the young man and waited his reaction. Steve jumped a little with the sudden lunge of her wrist and gently took hold of her hand, before taking in a deep breath. Shockingly, he liked it. “Hey.. It’s actually not that bad,” he said. Ancelin smiled and set the tester back down, and grabbed a small size bottle. “Then I’ll buy a bottle. If Jan doesn’t like it, at least I know you do,” she grinned, to which Steve smiled as well. His smile would quickly turn to an agape shock however with Ancelin’s next statement. “Come on, I’m gonna try these on. I want you to tell me how they look,” the pheasant girl said as she took hold of Steve’s hand and drug him over towards the dressing room. “EH?!” The next half hour that followed could be considered a mans best dream and worst nightmare combined. Steve had to sit outside the dressing room with two other men who he assumed where suffering the same fate he was while Ancelin tried on each and every outfit she had picked up. It wouldn’t of been so bad if she had kept this to herself, but no, every time she had put on a new outfit, she had to come out and show it to him. She said she was ‘getting his man-opinion’ but honestly… Was Jan a man?! At least this was what Steve was thinking. How could this woman torture him like this? Did she not know he was attracted to her? Could she not see that she was a beautiful woman and that by parading in a push up bra and thong was not going to torture his young virtuous soul? Apparently not. “I like the red one best,” said Sam, a man in about his late 20s with red slicked back hair. His girlfriend was currently trying on outfits for their honeymoon, but she wasn’t kind enough to share with the others. “I like th’ purple one, m’self,” answered Nate, a 32 year old black man who was here with his wife buying her some new bras since her breast had increased in size due to child birth. “I… Kinda like the white one myself.. Makes you seem more virginal,” answered Steve, who was currently only half looking at Ancelin as she stood there in a pale blue half cup bra with matching mesh panties. She was turned around and bending over slightly, shaking her rear from side to side. She had her ands wrapped around her back with her arms bent up over her shoulder blades, which for some reason she refused to move. Probably covering a tattoo up, the two other men assumed. “Hmm.. I think I’m with Nate, I like the purple one best.” An said, before she turned around and stood straight. “I’ll try that one on one last time.” She said before she walked back into the dressing room. “So why’re you ‘ere?” asked Nate as he sat back on the couch they where all sitting in. “She’s going to have sex with this girl she’s got a crush on so she’s drug me along to help her pick something out,” Steve answered, feeling shame in his answer. “Ah… ha…” both Sam and Nate answered in unison. “I know,” muttered Steve before he shoved his face in his hands. “You like the girl?” asked Sam, Steve nodded his head slowly. “Thin steal ‘er away. She must trust ya t’ let ya see her like this,” Nate said backing up Sam. Steve smiled faintly and shook his head. “I doubt that would work. She’s pretty hung up over this other girl.” “She a lesbian?” asked Sam. ”I don’t think so..” “Thin it’s worth a shot.” Replied Nate. Steve was getting ready to open his mouth before Ancelin came out again wearing the purple outfit mentioned earlier. It was slightly see threw with grape-vine style embroidery. Small holes where the grapes would be. It fit her well, and was refreshing from her typical blue and yellow only wardrobe, yet still blended with her hair. Ancelin was particularly fond of it because it covered up her scars perfectly, and she didn’t have to be shy of her back because of it. She did a full spin, causing her braids to fly in the air for a second. She then made a few poses she saw used in Vincent’s nude magazines, before bending over. “What do you guys think?” she asked. Sam gave a thumbs up, Steve blushed and looked away while making a gasp for air, and Nate clapped his hands. “Sounds like we have a winner then! Alright!” Ancelin said as she jumped up and down as she walked back into the dressing room. “I swear I’m goint to faint from the lack of blood to my brain.” Steve moaned. The two men laughed heartily. Moments later Ancelin came out again in her work uniform, holding the items she planned on putting back on one arm and the items she planned on buying curled under her arm. Steve stood up and walked over to Ancelin, holding out his arms to offer to carry something. Ancelin smiled and gave him the teddy, matching panties, and perfume. “It was nice meeting you gentlemen.” Ancelin said as she bowed to Sam and Nate, Steve nodded behind her. “It was lovely meeting you too,” said Sam with a smile. “Keep it real. N’ ‘member what we said, Steve,” winked Nate. “What’d he mean by that?” Ancelin asked as she turned her head to Steve. The young man simply shook his head and gave Ancelin a gentle nudge, easing her into the rest of the store. “Nothing, don’t worry your pretty head about it.” The two put back the items An didn’t intend to buy and then went to the counter to pay for the items she did wish to purchase. Steve had decided to wait by the entrance while Ancelin paid for her things, he didn’t like the grins and smiles the store attendants where giving him. After a few minutes Ancelin returned to the front of the store with a pink bag in hand. “Where do you want to go now?” she asked to Steve. “Someplace where I can dig my grave.” “????”

Who's Gonna Take You Home Tonight? After the underwear incident, Ancelin had drug Steve around to roughly six more clothing stores before she settled on an outfit appropriate enough to wear on her date with Jan. Poor Steve looked like the stereotypical boyfriend that would be seen on TV or old cartoons, carrying bags on each arm while Ancelin lead him around holding nothing but her purse. “The mall will be closing in 15 minutes. Please select your final purchases and head to the nearest check out counter,” came a voice over the intercom. Ancelin paused and looked upward at the ceiling, listening to the announcement. She then tilted her head to the side and looked to the watch that was locked around her wrist. “Wow, it’s almost 9pm. I didn’t realize it was getting so late.” “I did,” Steve moaned, he was tired from carrying all the heavy bags. Ancelin turned her head and looked to male companion, before letting out a bright smile. “I guess we should go home now?” she said as she removed the bags from his right arm and divided them up among her own. Steve divided the bags on his left arm and nodded. “Yeah, let’s head back to my truck and I’ll take you home.” After loading and securing the bags into the back of Steve’s truck, the two hopped up inside the cab and Steve headed back to Ancelin’s apartment. It didn’t take much longer than 20 minutes to get back to the old building. Steve managed to snag a spot a crossed the road in front of a private residence. The two collected the bags and walked a crossed the road. Steve seemed to be off in his own little world while Ancelin fiddled with her keys and opened the door. A light buzzing sound went off in the doorway as it opened and the two entered. An’s apartment was on the second floor on the right. After another session of fiddling with keys An finally opened the door and the two entered. “You’re welcome to stay for a little while, if you’d like. It’s not completely set up yet, but there is food in the fridge.” An said as she walked threw the living room and set the bags down by her couch. Steve nodded his head and made a quick ‘mm’ sound as he set down his own bags and walked into the kitchen. He opened the fridge door and looked around inside, he settled on pouring a glass of 2% milk. His eyes scanned the apartment idly, An had only recently moved in about a week and a half ago. But it seemed to be coming together nicely. The main room was a living room with a small kitchen taking up a corner, separated by two half walls and the ceiling cabinets. In the living room was an old couch with a crochet blanket and throw pillows scattered over top of it. Around the couch sat two wooden end tables and a matching coffee table with a glass top. There seemed to be a bit of paper work neatly stacked and tucked into folders on the table, as if An had been balancing her check books earlier in the day. Along with an empty glass with little fish running around the rim. Sitting against the wall was an entertainment center with a 24” screen TV along with various playing devices for music and video. Stacked up against one wall where six boxes, obviously An was still deciding where to put everything. There where fish tanks set against all of the walls, big and small. Apparently not all of Ancelin’s fish had been moved over yet. Which wasn’t all that odd, seeing as most of her fish where exotic and required very delicate care. It would probably still be a good week until the conditions in each tank where stable enough to be ready for the fish to be moved in there. There where lists taped to the stands of each tank listing what fish would go where and what conditions where expected for each tank. Steve would know all of this, of coarse, seeing as he was the one who taught Ancelin how to care for the animals not to mention probably sold her 80% of them. The young man sat down on the couch and crossed his legs, sipping from his glass as he ran what the older men had said to him earlier threw his head. Ancelin came out of her bedroom a few moments later, wearing her PJs rather than her work uniform. "I hope you don't mind me changing out of my uniform. I can trust you right?" She teased as walked a crossed the room with a set of papers in her hands and began dipping them into the tanks one by one, before setting them on the lids to await the results. Steve smiled a little when he saw this and stood, walking over to the younger girl. “So have you managed to get these tanks set up properly?” he asked, Ancelin nodded. “Yeah, I think I’ll be able to start moving them over soon. I’ve got some tanks in my bedroom too, but the only fish going in them are Angel, my other lionfish and my puffers.” Ancelin explained, Steve nodded slowly. “Um.. May I see them? You’re other thanks that is.” The boy said, eyes going over to An’s bedroom door. An, thinking nothing of it, nodded her head. “Yeah, sure thing. A few of these strips will take a few minutes to give results anyways.” An finished spreading out the strips of paper on the lids and turned on one heel, before she walked off into the bedroom. It was even less set up than the living room. A desk here with boxes on it, a chair that still needed it’s back screwed onto it. A small table with a TV sitting on top of it, two book cases with boxes stacked up against them. The only things that had been fully set up where three fish tanks that took up one wall, a large wire cage that took up almost all of another wall, and Ancelin’s bed. Steve stared at the mattress that was covered in sea blue comforters and pillows. The pillow cases had dolphins printed on them. “This tank is where Angel and his tank mates are going.” An said, recapturing Steve’s attention. She had a large 80 gallon sitting on a Birchwood case with a matching lid. Inside was a good six inches of sand with fake plants rising up the walls. There was what looked to be coral lining up the two side walls. In the middle was a big fake clam with it’s mouth wide open, and a big glowing pearl in the middle. It seemed to have a night light effect, something that Angel often liked to lock his mouth around even though it wouldn’t move anywhere. “The coral just arrived two days ago, it seems to be taking to the water perfectly. I even planted some natural plant life.. But that’ll take a while to grow.” She said, smiling to herself as her fingers gently ran down the glass. Her eyes closed part way as she gazed peacefully at the rippling water in the tank. She then let out a soft sigh. “It would be so cool to be able to dive into an ocean like this and swim free.." the young girl mused to herself. Steve turned his head to gaze at the girls soft expression after she said this. The room was ill-lit, but he could see her face thanks to the pearl glowing in the middle of the tank. The reflection of rippling water ran over her cheeks and face. Steve's eyes then rolled down over Ancelin's figure. She was wearing her blue long sleeve button up PJ top that was obviously a size or two too big. It had a darker blue fish pattern over the entirety of it. She wasn't wearing the matching pants. Obviously if the shirt was too big, the pants wouldn't fit her ether. But the shirt went down far enough so that you couldn't see the bright orange boy-short style panties she was wearing. On her feet she had fuzzy blue slippers. The idea was to look adorable, but Steve found it enticing. It was then the young man decided to take his chance. He walked behind the shorter girl and wrapped his arms tightly around her shoulders, nuzzling his face into her neck. An's attention was quickly taken away from her day dream and she made a confused expression, her hands reaching up to rest on Steve's arm. "Steve..?" she asked. His reply came in the form of a firm squeeze and a light kiss on the neck. Ancelin felt goosebumps run down her arms at the sensation, but she wasn't exactly sure what was bringing all this on. Ancelin opened her mouth to speak again, but Steve had spun her around and pressed his lips firmly against hers. An's eyes bulged open as her friend wrapped his arms tightly around her body, his hands grasping at her hips and the back of her head. "Anny.. I know you like Jan. But can't you give me a try? You have to know how I feel about you." the boy whispered after finally breaking his kiss. Ancelin opened her mouth to reply but Steve had already dove in for another kiss. An made a loud displeased grunt, but it was muffled from the contact of their lips. Steve had began to gently ease Ancelin's body around and pushed her over towards the bed. Still being a little uneasy with her footing, Ancelin fell out of Steve's arms and landed on her mattress with a loud 'oof'. "Steve! What is this?! All of a sudden..? I.. We're friends. I mean.. I like you.. But- we're friends.." she stuttered while Steve moved closer to the bed. "But why can't we be more than friends? You ask me if you can work with me so we can hang out more. You always let me take you out to dinner. You… You make me go underwear shopping with you!!" "But that was for-" "Forget about Jan! I'm the one that loves you!" Steve yelled, cutting Ancelin off short. "Look at you.. You even dress like this when it's just me and you in this apartment. Dressing so sexy.. You must like me too, right?!" "I.." "Right?!" Steve had now placed his knee between An's legs, kneeling over her on the bed. He gently grabbed the edge of his shirt and lifted it over his head, throwing it off the side of the bed. There was no denying that Ancelin found him attractive. He was gaunt, but not too muscular. He had a little bit of fat on his body, but not enough to be considered obese or chubby. But An was in love with Jan! Yeah, she liked Steve.. But to go this far when she was still hung up over another girl? She was still a virgin after all! Steve took the girls silence as compliance and leaned over her, firmly but gently holding her forearms against the bed. "You don't have to worry about experience and impressions with me.. I think you're perfect just the way you are." Steve whispered as he gazed deeply into An's eyes. The girl didn't know what to say. She began to struggle against Steve's grip but he had her pinned. "I'll show you what real love is about, not just silly one night stands." Steve said, as he leaned in and pressed for another kiss. An made a sharp whimper as a tear ran down her cheek. Somehow, the events that unfolded that night just didn't feel right.

Since You're Gone "Anny..?" Steve whispered softly from his place on the bed behind Ancelin. She was currently laying under her blanket curled in a tight ball, with her back facing towards him. Her face was raw and red with tears. Steve rested a hand on her shoulder, to which An winced in horror and slapped it away. "Get out." She said quickly, barely a whisper. "Huh?" Steve asked, leaning in closer. "Get out." An said a bit louder, now understandable. "But.." "I said GET OUT!!" Ancelin screamed before she turned her body sharply towards Steve, holding the blanket up to cover herself. "You ******** pig! Get out! Get out! GET OUT!" she said as she threw anything she could get her hands on at him. Pillows, an alarm clock. Steve quickly leap up and put on his pants, grabbing his shirt as he hurried towards the door. "But Anny!" "GET OUT!" she shrieked, loud enough to wake the naibors. This time a lamp went after him, shattering as it collided with the wall by his head. Steve ran out the front door confused and shocked. Ancelin just sat there in her bed sobbing after she heard the door shut. After a few minutes of trying to decipher what had just happened, Ancelin finally reached inside her nightstand drawer and pulled out her cell phone. She hit the 1 button and hit dial, speed dial for Tenshi's house. "Hello?" answered a male's voice. "Vin-vin.." An choked. "Anny?" Vincent replied. "Are you okay? You're voice sounds weird." "I need you.. Come here now.. Please!" Ancelin begged, Vincent's voice got sterner. "I'll be right there." he said, and then the phone clicked off. --------------------------------- Twenty minutes later and Ancelin could hear tires squeeling to a halt outside. Seconds later there was a buzzing sound. Ancelin was still wrapped up only in the blanket, but she knew who it was. She walked over and pressed the release button. There where loud footsteps rushing up the stairs. Ancelin opened the door. Vincent quickly swung to a halt in front of An's door, panting loudly. His eyes quickly went over An's body, all he had to do was look at her face to see something bad had happened. An quickly lunged into Vincent's arms and he gave her a tight hug. "It's okay.. I'm here. Let's go inside and you tell me what happened." He said as he eased An inside the doorway. He shut the door afterwards, and he turned the locks. Afterwards he eased the crying young girl over to the couch where he sat her down, and held her head to his chest. "Okay.. Tell me what happened." he whispered, making soft 'ssh'ing sounds. "Steve.. He.. He.." "Steve?" ---------------------------------- After Ancelin explained everything, Vincent remained silent. She explained some more and his expression turned to anger. Ancelin was crying the entire time. Finally, convinced that the girl needed to rest and clean up, he ran her a bath. The cops weren't going to be needed for this.. He'd take care of Steve, and he knew just who was going to help him. Once he had helped An into the bath he excused himself and went into the living room where she wouldn't hear him. "Hello.. Jan? Yeah.. It's Vincent. I need to talk to you." After a short conversation on the phone Vincent hung up his cell and returned to the bathroom. He didn't leave Ancelin's side once more time that evening, and stayed with her until morning. Only after much reassurance that she was okay did Vincent agree to leave her be. "I'll be back later tonight, okay? Call me if anything happens." "I will.." Ancelin said with a soft smile, before she kissed Vincent's cheek. Vincent gave Ancelin one last concerned glance, before he put on his jacket and walked down the stares.

Amakusa_Ryu Affinity/AversionAncelin Good job with the nesting birds, Ancelin. Now that you've become acquainted with wild birds, you need to get yourself one for a pet. Get a bit of hands on experience, you know? The bird can be any species, fantasy or naturally found in the wild, so long as you can get it somewhere. Document the first few days you spend with this bird, and how you go about bonding with it. Keep in mind that the bird may refuse to talk to you, and that if the bird is too large you will not be able to talk to it at all.

Quest: Lady Amhert's What? Ancelin stood with her butt resting against the back counter of the cashier's station. She was at work, but on her hour lunch break. She was waiting for a 'special' delivery. After much deliberation Ancelin had decided it was time to get a new pet. Only this time, she wouldn't be expanding on her massive exotic fish collection. No, Ancelin was starting to realize she was quite gifted when it came to birds, and so forth had decided to take one on as a pet to further expand her knowledge of them. Why couldn't she just get a normal bird, one might ask? Simply because she didn't like any the store had to offer. The Parakeets where too hyper and jitter and never shut the hell up, and the parrots where too stupid. Yes, they could mimic humans just great, but when it came to holding a real conversation? PAH! They where too busy talking about 'the good old days' with previous masters. No. An had to special order this bird. Something she felt she could relate too better. 'ding-ding' Ancelin turned her head up quickly when she heard the bell of the door being open, only to have her shoulders slump in dismay when it was just a small child with it's parents. She crossed her arms and turned her head down again, getting a raised eyebrow from the working cashier behind the counter. "You're really excited about this new pet, aren't you? What did you get? Another lion fish?" asked a small girl who's name tag read "Sarah". She had short blond hair and a very small petiet frame, she was even shorter than Ancelin, standing 4'10. Sometimes people would ask if she was a tall dwarf, but no, she was simply short. Which seemed to get her a lot of attention from guys. Ancelin shook her head. "No, I ordered a bird this time." She said, to which Sarah tilted her head in confusion. "A bird? I knew you where part bird, but I didn't know you liked them as pets." "Yeah.. It's something I'm just taking interest in." Ancelin smiled. She hadn't told anybody yet about her new found powers. Sarah turned her head and smiled to someone behind the blue haired girl. When An heard the sound of approaching footsteps she prepared to turn her head to see who it was, but quickly shot her face forward again when it spoke. "Hey ladies!" came the sound of Steve's voice. "Hey Steve!" Sarah answered back. Ancelin didn't respond. "And how are you two beautiful lovelies doing today?" Steve asked as he walked into the booth, he went to put his arm around An's shoulder, but she quickly shrugged him off and took a few steps away. "You're really peppy today. What happened, did you score with a lady?" asked Sarah as she shot Ancelin a playful wink. An's face flushed with embarrassment and she shot Steve a hateful glare. Steve frowned at Ancelin's reaction, before he turned his head to Sarah. "Something like that. But I wouldn't put it so crudely," he answered, his attitude suddenly going mellow at An's cold response. "Suuuuure." Sarah said, before she turned around to ring out a customer. "Hey Anny, listen.." Steve whispered as he reached out for An, she simply jerked her shoulder away and walked out of a hinged door. "I don't want to talk to you." She said sharply, to which Steve followed in pursuit. "An please!" he called back. "Just go away!" An said sharply, loudly this time. 'ding-ding' An shot her glance to the front door again, and this time Steve's gaze followed. A man in a moss-brown uniform came in carrying a large cage with a sheet over it. Under his other arm he had a sign sheet. That was it, alright. That was An's bird. An quickly pushed Steve out of her way with one arm and sped-walk over to the man. "Are you Ancelin Kuronaho?" asked the delivery man, his name tag said "George". "Yes! Is this my Amherst? An replied with much excitement. The man nodded. "Yes-sir-y. All I need is for you to sign this paper on the dotted line and he's all yours. He didn't make a peep the entire way here, I was afraid he might be sick or something." said the man as he held out his clipboard. Ancelin took it and signed her name on a couple dotted lines, before she gave it back to the man and retrieved the cage. "Oh, I'm sure he's just shy." She said with a smile, before she lifted the sheet up and took a peep at the bird. Sure enough, it was an Amherst. A Lady Amherst's Pheasant, that is. The man tipped his hat to Ancelin and said a couple parting words, but Ancelin was too busy looking at her new 'friend' to pay attention. The bird gave her a firm glare with it's beady yellow eyes and puffed up it's chest in a threatening manner, his head plumage spreading out. Ancelin smiled and pat the side of the cage. "Don't be afraid. I'm going to take very good care of you, so let's be friends, yeah?" She got no reply. An frowned softly, but then assumed maybe he was just stressed out from his trip. Yes, once she got him home and he was relaxed, things would go by much more smoothly. "Come on, I'll take you home." she said as she put the sheet back down over the cage. "Anny.." came Steve's voice, who had been standing behind her the entire time. An shot a glare at the young man over her shoulder. "Don't come near me, pervert." "An! I'm sorry if I upset you! I thought it was what you wanted!" "Just shut up and leave me alone!!" An said loudly, before she stormed out the door 'ding-ding' the door went for a final time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once Ancelin returned home she lifted the sheet off the cage to reveal the pheasant in his full glory. He was a Lady Amherst's Pheasant. And just like his name suggested, he looked like he was from the Victorian age with that 'wig' of white feathers collected around his head. The bird was awake, and still glaring daggers at the pheasant woman holding him captive. An smiled and carried him into the bedroom, where she had a large cage taking almost an entire wall. Ancelin opened the wire door to the bird cage she had set up for the pheasant, and then opened the door to the small cage the bird was held in. "Here you go, this is your new home. I know it may be a little small considering what you're used too, but I'll let you roam the house whenever you want. This is just your private space for sleeping." An explained. The pheasant poked it's head out of the carrying cage and peered about, before it suddenly lept into the larger cage and hide in some bush plants An had transfered into the wooden floor. The cage went from the floor to the ceiling. It had a wooden bottom full of potting soil and plants, which was roughly a foot deep. There where tree branches and the likes with twigs and leaves scattered about so he could make a nest when he choose to. The barrier was made out of gold colored wire that went all the way up to the ceiling with three large doors. One at the floor where the bird had just gone in, and two that where at An's head in height. An left the door open and kneeled down on the floor so that her chest was hugged against her thighs. She rested her hands on her knees with her feet wide spread, smiling gently. "Why don't you tell me your name?" An asked, while the bird glared at her from the bushes. "It's okay. I can talk to birds. I'm a pheasant, like you. I want to be friends with you." An tried to explain, but the bird still glared. An frowned softly, why wasn't the bird speaking to her? "Well.. um.. I put some food in a bowl over there for you.. So if you get hungry it's there. There's also some water.. I have to go back to work, but I'll be back later tonight. Okay?" An said with a weak smile before she stood and walked out the door. The pheasant slowly poked it's head out of the bush once the girl was gone and looked around. With a few bobs of it's head it walked over to the food dish and eyed what she had laid out for it. Surprisingly, at least to the bird, it was the right kind of food for him to eat. He pecked at it slowly, running his situation over in his mind.

You Get What You Deserve Ancelin stood in the back of the store, she had returned from her lunch break. She had now contented herself to begin feeding rounds. She had a cart with her that she was currently standing on, pouring in assorted bowls of flakes into the higher up fish tanks. She had a blank expression on her face, and hadn't said much to anyone when she had returned from home accept asking where Steve was. She didn't want to see him. She didn't think she ever wanted to speak to him again.
Ancelin wasn't wearing her work uniform today. No, instead she was wearing something she rarely ever wore. Pants. She didn't like the exposure she felt with a skirt on. So today she had on loose, unflattering slacks and a long sleeved sweater. Forget that it was too warm for that kind of dress. Still, it made her feel safe. Well, safer. ding-ding!
A tall, stunning young woman with pale, short hair, stylish sunglasses, a dark-red racerback tanktop, paint-splattered, washed-out, bootcut jeans, flipflops, and a chain wallet, and a thick belt on strolled into the shop, expression nuetral as she blew her bangs from in front of her shades and glanced around the shop. Short woman in uniform, check, tall guy [shorter than Jan, though] in uniform, check. She noted belatedly that the man gave her a second look. He, of course, hadn't seen Jan since she was a kid, still, maybe he was just looking since she was hot. His named tag condemned him. 'Steve'.
Finally spotting the blue-haired girl toward the back of the store, she wordlessly approached her. Jan frowned slightly at the change in the girl's clothing type, before leaning forward to murmur against her ear, palm sliding against the shorter girls waist. "Hey, gorgeous."
Steve's eyes bulged when Jan held out a rose. Ancelin nearly jumped out of her skin at the sudden contact. She moved out of Jan's grasp in the same moment she turned to look at her. She relaxed a little when she realised who it was, and smiled softly. "Oh.. Hello Jan. I didn't expect to see you." She said, her voice still a little shakey and unsure.
She climbed down the little set of stairs on her cart so that she was eye to chest level with Jan again. She eyed the rose that was being held out to her and took it. Her expression was that of shock, but a good shock. "Is this for me? Thank you!" she said, smiling brightly up at the taller girl.
Steve finally cought on to who the taller girl was when he saw An's reaction. He couldn't hear them, but it was Jan alright. He frowned, jealous by the warm welcome the girl had received. He made a light 'tch' sound with his teeth and turned around, choosing to go in the back to do stock dutie so he wouldn't have to watch. Jan hadn't heard the whole story from Vincent, but she didn't need to. She'd been informed of enough, and had assumed the rest [correctly assumed, one might add]. The blonde didn't want to be Ancelin's girlfriend, but she still cared a helluva lot of Anny, whether she wanted to or not. Jan smiled back, nodding about the flower, before pulling the shorter girl into a long, affectionate hug. "I grew et." She wasn't going to tell Ancelin she knew.
"Hey, Ance... Where's yer bathroom?" Jan already knew, from Vincent, that it was in the back, where Steve happened to be stocking. Not that Ancelin knew that was where the man had disappeared to. "I came righ' 'ere from th' garden, so I didn' get a chance t'use th'restroom." Ancelin smiled gleefully as she looked at the rose, twirling it gently in her hands. "You grew it? I love it!" she said, smelling it softly. She then tilted her head at the question. Oh, the restroom. "It's in the back. Just go threw those doors right there, go straight, and then to the right is a co-ed bathroom. Use the toilit paper on the lid though, I haven't cleaned it in a week." she said softly, never once taking her eye off the flower. She pointed gently in the direction of the back room. "I'm gonna put this in a glass of water while you wash up." She said with a giggle, skipping off towards the sink where the betas where kept. Jan nodded, silently, her smile disappearing the moment that Ancelin disappeared. The blonde had never faked happy before. Apparently, she was turning out to be a good liar. That was a new skill. Her strides were purposefull as the entered the back room, and instead of turning right to head for the bathroom, she spotted Steve stocking and approached him, a charming, friendly grin appearing on her face once more. It looked as if she was pleasantly surprised to find him in the back area.
After all, why would Steve be suspicious of Jan? She'd been friendly to him the first time they'd met, and he had no idea that she knew about he and Ancelin. "Hey, Steve, righ'...? Y'member me, Jan?" Steve lifted a box from the floor to a shelf about chest level when Jan entered the room. He turned his head to her when she addressed him. "Oh yeah. You're all Ancelin ever talks about." He said, although it was easy to tell that he didn't think that was a good thing. Be dusted his hands off on his slacks and held out his right hand, smiling up to the taller girl.
"It probably means alot to her to have you come in and visit her like this.." "I'll bet."
Jan didn't take his hand. Instead, as he reached out to shake, her right fist sped directly for his nose. Hard, forceful, unforgiving. The smile on her face didn't falter. It was extremely unlikely that Steve would be able to block such a strike, considering it was a surprise attack, and one she'd been planning since the night before.
The blonde didn't stop there, she sent another punch to his stomach with her left fist, her stronger, dominant hand. Jan planned to beat him down, then take Ancelin out for lunch. Jan was right, Steve wasn't expecting it at all. Steve wasn't a fighter at all. He let out a loud grunt and then begin gasping for air when Jan punched him in the stomach. He quickly collapsed to the ground and began sheilding his head. "Ah! What are you doing?! What is this for?!" He shrieked, curling into a ball on the ground. He sounded like a little girl with the way he was gasping for air. Blood began running down his jaw from where he was hit in the nose.
All of this was unkown to the customers and workers outside. Seeing as there where thick bricks and concret seperating the back room from the main store Jan was not a cruel person. Anyone who knew the sweet, tall girl would say that. However, her temper was so slow to build that when it did, it was a scary thing to see. When Steve fell to the ground, Jan kicked him twice in the ribs and stomach, possibly breaking a few with her strong legs. After one more kick she bent down to speak to him, lifting her glasses so their eyes could meet. Jan's brown gaze was hard, cold. Her words were sharp, clipped, almost completely devoid of her accent.
"Don' touch Ancelin ever again. She didn' want what ya did t'her." Her meaning was clear. She called Steve a rapist and threatened him two simple senteces. Staring at him for another long second, the blonde spat on him and straightened, running a hand through her hair before leaving the backroom and finding Ancelin once more.
"When d'ya git off work, Ance?" Ancelin was finishing up feeding the fish when Jan came back to rejoin her. The rose was sitting in a rectangular fish bowl with water filled a couple inches high. She turned her head back to the taller girl when she was asked the question. She paused for a moment, before looking to the watch around her wrist. "In an hour and a half.. But I don't mind asking to take off early. I'll just go ask Steve real quick.. He owes me." She said, her voice turning dull and sad when she got to the talking to Steve part. In all honesty, it wouldn't of even bothered to to skip out on work. The last place she wanted to be was here. Jan reached out to grab Ancelin's wrist, her grip firm but not harmful. A charming smile flashed onto her face and she pointed at the sunshine out the large shop windows. "Why don' ya jes' ask th' other girl t'cover fer ya? I'd really love t'take ya out, 'n I dun wanna risk Steve sayin' no."
The blonde was rather persuasive. Ancelin ran the thought over in her head. She really didn't want to speak to Steve.. And Jan was giving her some damn well needed and wonderful attention. She nodded her head and smiled. "Yeah! Okay!" she said, before she gently laced her fingers around Jan's wrist with her hand that was being held onto, and took hold of the rose with the other.
"Sarah. I'm gonna take off early today. Tell Steve I suddenly felt ill, okay? He knows I haven't been doing well these past couple days." She said, giving the girl a pleading expression as she bounced on her knees.
Sarah looked up to Jan and grinned, she knew who she was. She sighed and nodded her head, throwing her arms up in mock frustration. "Oh what am I going to do with you Anny? Fine, I'll cover you. But you owe me one." She said with a wink. Ancelin beamed. "Yes! Thankyouthankyouthank you!" she beamed, before looking up to Jan.
"You ready to go?" she asked, sounding a little impatient to get the hell on out of there "Mmhmm." Jan grinned, shot Sarah a wink, and led Ancelin out of the store. One had to wonder how Steve was doing in the backroom. Taking a deep, relaxing breath, Jan gently rubbed Ance's back. "Where woul' ya like t'go?"Ancelin looked up to Jan with bright pastel eyes. The day had been going horribly so far. She woke up from.. what happened last night. She was in a good deal of pain. And then to top it all off she had work and her bird didn't seem to like her. But then Jan showed up and treated her so warmly. "Um.." She said, pondering.. Where did she want to go?
gyuuuuuuuu
Well, her stomach answered that question. She shot her gaze down with minor embarrasment. "Um.. Something to eat would be nice. I know a buffet restront near by that has a nice salad bar, if that sounds good?"
Once the two where a good block away, Sarah realised she needed to go into the back of the store for something. "Steeeve.. Where is the- OH MY GOD!!" she let out a loud yell when she discovered Steve coughing up spit and blood on the floor. She quickly rushed to his side, and the young man let out a groan. ".....Ow."Jan nodded slowly, agreeing that the buffet sounded good, and followed Ancelin the entire way. Today was a good day, and she was determined to make Ancelin agree, by being charming, friendly, affectionate, and caring. A good friend. The rest of the afternoon went swimmingly. Aside from the physical pain, Ancelin's mind was completely distracted from the events that happened the night before. The two had lunch, went for a walk in the park, and finished up with Jan dropping An off at the Kuronaho residence so that An could see Vincent.
The young girl smiled fondly at Jan as she was getting ready to leave. "Thanks for today Jan.. I really needed it." She said softly as she stood tip-toed and kissed the taller girl on the cheek. "Give me a call later, okay?" she said, before the two waved and parted their seperate ways. Ancelin closed the front door and went to Vincent, preparing to gush and show off her rose. The person Jan called later was Vincent, leaving him a short message to inform him that Steve had recieved their... Suggestion concerning Ancelin.
