We would have a large advantage. In a church would make him week and easyer to slay. I would hold him off while you and Fennth get your weapons blessed. Just dump your weapon into holy water and thats for a temperary blessing but after the fight i can for you.

It won't realy injure him but it will hurt him. he will feel it but it will do no damange. I can do damange and if you know magic that could help
