Kirus smiled as Haku walked up, he was so pleasant, smiling almost constantly, as if any small thing that Kirus might say was utterly charming. Of course the Englishman liked to think this was so, so they made a well enough team. Kirus held his hand out to the other, waiting for him to pass. He smiled and ducked his head at the others awe. "Truth be told" Kirus said, looking upwards, "She isnt mine, she's on loan through my overheads" he began for the first time in a long time to see the ship for what she was once more. Huge, beautiful and majestic. "but she is rather lovely" He said lovingly. "come!" he said clapping his hands together decisively, "Let me show you inside" this was both a chance for Haku to see the boat, and for Kirus to make sure his things were being transported properly. They made their way around the mast, Kirus waving to a few men who were tying of the rigging overhead, as they ducked into a small doorway under the gally. The captains quaters. "I am not, I fear, myself the captian" Kirus told Haku "I admit I know nothing about faring the ocean- I was lucky enough to procure this cabin as my own for the voyage however" he smiled. It was proably obvious by what means he might have procured it.
He bowed formally to the men already in the room, one was James, the other a young boy who Kirus had come to know as Paddy, he spoke with a soft Irish accent and was always willing. They each held an end of a large chest of Kirus' things and were stepping around Kirus and Haku to take it out of the door. "My thanks lads, that will be enough I'm sure" he smiled as the others went out. Kirus gestured for Haku to sit if he liked, the centre of the room held an expensive table and chairs. The table held an empty bowl of fruit and a decanter of port, and two glasses. The room was bedecked with various amoirs and chests, and in the corer under a canopy a large and comfortable looking bed, clothed in deep red velvet. "Please, make yourself at home" he asked "do excuse me" he went on, as he turned his back to the other and stripped his shirt. "I cannot stand that salt encrusted thing any longer" he admitted, dropping it over the back of a chair and searcing in some drawers. After a moment or two, he pulled out a finely cut white shirt, pressed to perfection. It had wide cuffs, already holding two emerald links, and its front was darted with strips of black velvet. he lifted it onto his shoulders and buttoned it up quickly enough, before pulling out a black waistcoat from another drawer, he buttoned this two and turned once again to Haku, smiling in apology.

Haku hadn't reacted to the man who walked past, he was just to busy looking around. Haku was admiring eveything. His dark eyes roamed over every small bit of the ship. It really was wonderfull. When Kirus told him he could take a seat, he first walked around the room a little more to see everything. It was all so different from everything they had. Wonderfull. It all really was. Haku took the seat and looked around the room before back at Kirus as he had changed. "It all looks lovely! And...Nice shirt." He said with a smile as he nodded at the other.
Seti was still reading his book quietly at the harbour. He saw the men come out with the chest. When he saw everything piled up he wondered how many men where going to help them carry everything back to the Inn.

Kirus pulled his hair from the back of his shirt and smiled, his eyes sparkling, in thanks at Haku. "Have you had much experience with English fashion?" he asked the other "I think I'd like to get to know your own a little better before I leave, I should think perhaps my translator not the best person to ask about such matters however" he grinned. He was pretty sure that Seti dressed for function more than anything, not that he looked at all unattractive, rather, he did not seem the type to while away time with pretties.
He wondered about offering the other a drink before they left, but decided that Seti was probably getting impatient already, and instead made his way towards the door, ringing a large brass bell just inside it before he did, then stepping aside with his hand out, asking "shall we?"
The ring of the bell resounded across the ship, and a good few men were already gathering themselves on deck. There seemed to be about twenty men of varying ages and stages of tan, left on the ship, all of them ready to move. Kirus smiled at them all, and made his way among them rather than addressing them from above.
"Could four or five of you help carry my things to the Inn that my new friend owns? I would be most grateful" he asked, then turning to Haku. "I'm sorry, I did not catch the name of your establishment, in my hurry to get out of the rain, where is it I should direct my men?"

Haku looked at Kirus while shaking his head. "Not at all. I just learned the language to be able to speak to all of my foreign guest, thats about it." He then smilled lightly. He then laughed softly. "Seti dressed like a true samurai. Maybe he can change his ways if he is out of the country, but here no. He would kill himsellf before dressing differently." Haku said with a joyfull laughter.
The raven haired men nodded and followed behidn the Englishman. He watched as all men gathered. Haku resisted the urge to smirk or lick his lips, rather handsome some where. But then again he didn't want to meet Seti's blade for something he did.
Haku watched a little longer and almost didn't hear the question. "Oh! Gomen. Its the Mist River Inn. But that cna't go wrong, its the only Inn thats in the middle of the small village." The raven then smiled again and walked up to where the other was reading. "Lets go." He said softly to Seti in his own language and watched the other as he put the book away and got up.

Kirus followed Haku off the boat and smiled at Seti as they approached, standing by as the other tucked away his book. "I was rather hoping you would give me a tour of your home whilst my men bring around my things" he turned to Haku and nodded his head in polite gesture "I would too, like you to accompany us, if you've the time?" he asked "though I understand if you have to attend to business".
He liked Haku, the man was friendly and happy seeming- he also felt a little uneasy to be alone with Seti, truth be told, though that was something he would have to quickly get used to.
Kirus turned his eyes to the sun, shielding his eyes and watching gulls wheel over head of them. "I only hope my crew dont grow too attached to your charming culture" he said, noting a few English and Welshmen dotted around the dock area, eating local dishes, their eyes tracking other types of local delicacies...

Haku smiled and nodded. "I have time to show you around. I will let Byoux know that she needs to take care of the Inn for a bit." With that he just turned to Seti who whistled and waited.
A small hawk came flying in only a small minute later. High pitch noises it made as it landed on Seti's shoulder. While he had waited for the hawk he had written a small note. He gave it to the hawk and flashed a small smile as the hawk took off once more.
Haku clapped his hands for a moment as he watched the bird take off once more. "So. While thats done i can show you around. Its not like the village is really big or anything." The raven haired man smiled and looked at Seti for a moment as he followed behind them. First Haku took both others along the small shops at the harbour. Small restaurants and ramen shops, next to the fresh fish that was sold in the middle of the harbour. "Would you like to try some of the local food or do you only want to look around?" Haku asked as he turned to Kirus with a smile.

Kirus' eyes went a little wide as the hawk came in. Of course there was a game keeper on his grounds but this was different... The bird had come to Seti with as little as a whistle, and seemingly from no where. The hawk had wheeled over head and descended with ease to Seti's shoulder- furthermore it had made no complaint when given a message, and flew off as if it knew where to go. Kirus had to doubt in his mind that it did. It had taken everything in him not to duck out of the way as the bird had descended towards them. He stayed himself for the sake of image. Kirus smiled as Haku clapped his hands, the other was so pleaseable, like a woman or child, it was very endearing.
Kirus followed Haku along the harbour, his eyes taking in the scenery, the locality. Everyone here seemed old or beautiful, with nothing in between and he enjoyed it thoroughly- he had do doubt in his mind that his cargo from this country would sell well. Such a perfectly crafted product was always appreciated...
"Well you know I'd like to experience everything you have to offer" Kirus replied to Haku with a smile.

Haku smiled. "Then lets eat some ramen." The raven walked into the shop, greeting the owner with a smile and a small nod. He walked further into the shop to order three portions of ramen and sake.
Seti had taken a seat near the door and looked at the harbour and the sea. He knew that Haku would bring him a very spicy portion of ramen. With a small smirk he wondered if he would give the same to the Englishman, cause that would be rather funny.
But then again Haku had always been a gentlemen for customers, where he was a little child when Seti was there. Always loving and happy with the smallest things.

Kirus followed Haku and Seti happily enough, ducking under the awning for the small establishment they had just entered. It looked like something out a story book and Kirus felt for a moment like a real adventurer and not just some trader. Scents of spices and something warm and full like broth was wafting from the kitchen area of the place, which seemed to be out in the open, for all customers to see how things were cooked. How very quaint. He couldnt imagine anything of the kind every happening in the English Hotel's he frequented to dine at.
He smiled around the other customers, who gave him a glance or two, but he assumed more for his attire than for his white skin. It was likely alot of his crew had been in here the past day or so. It was hot wholesome food, it was close to the ship. The months at sea had been hard, near the end they had been dining on water biscuits every meal, every day and to have something real was more than a relief. Or so Kirus assumed, he himself, had never gone wanting.

"Lets sit down where Seti is sitting." Haku siad with a smile as he walked up to Kirus with a plate that held three bowls of ramen and chopsticks. The raven smiled as he walked past the englishman and towards his friend. Placing the tray down he gave Seti his bowl first to not give the englishman the wrong one. Haku then sat down next to Seti and nudged him softly. "You can smile you know." He said to him in their own language. The reply was a rather short 'Hn.' As seti just peered at the englishman and the people in the shop. They where all looking at the englishman as if he was a deer on the read, they where all ready to take him down if needed.

Kirus followed Haku's suggestion and sight line, and walked in front of him to sit on a long wooden bench next to Seti. He had a strong enough feeling that the other didn't like him...though it was to be expected, given what Seti knew. The swordsman had however, been kinder to him the previous evening, and he wondered if there was something he had done to excel the others dislike. As Haku spoke to the other in fast musical tones, Kirus wondered; his eyes flitted between the two for a moment, and he nodded slightly to himself. Perhaps there was more to this than met the eye. He was not sure whether to try and get Seti to like him, or to listen to his inner devil and exceed his limits. At least, he thought, he could try and discern the reasons. As Haku slid the bowl of Ramen over to him, a steaming mixture of noodles which seemed to be flour based, and vegetables in broth; he allowed his hand to rest on Haku's for a moment, and caught the other's eye. "Thank-you Haku" he spoke slowly, almost seductively- before turning to his meal and attempting once again to work out chopsticks. He hoped his wry smile was hidden behind a curtain of his hair, for the moment.

Haku smiled and almost purred in reply. "No problem." The raven took the chopsticks into his pale slim fingers and raised his bowl. "Itedakimasu!"
Seti had seen the touch. The tone of the englishman just as the reply Haku gave him where stirring his anger. He murmered a soft "Itedakimasu." as Haku did so. He took his chopsticks into his hand aswell and silently started eating.
Haku's eyes moved over Seti's dark gaze. He just happily smiled at the other as he took a long noodle string into his mouth and sucked happily on it untill it was fully into his mouth. "Sugoi!" He announced as he enjoyed the rich taste of the noodle. His dark happy eyes then moved over to see how the englishman was doing with the chopsticks.

Whilst Haku and Seti had thanked god for the meal (or so he assumed, there had been some blessing over the food) he was still fumbling with his chopsticks. Having used them at Seti's he thought it would only get easier. It did not, and he had no clue how he was supposed to eat this soup like substance with two sticks. His brows furrowed a little as he frowned, fingers struggling to become their usual nimble selves. He realised he was being watched, and caught Haku's eye with a self depreciative smile, and a laugh. "I'm afraid there are some things in your culture I feel I will never grasp" he issued, "perhaps you could help me learn?" he asked, looking from his bowl to the chopsticks that fell from his hands at that moment to clatter on the table below. He shook his head and laughed again. "Seti's mother was very kind to teach me the art, my English brain seems to have forgotten the techniques as soon as my head hit the floor last night" he said, his smile turning to Seti for a moment.
The food was still steaming, and to his sailor's stomach, smelt divine.

Seti just ate the ramen slowly. His gray eyes where closed as he could almost feel the happiness radiating from Haku.
The feminine male smiled at the englishman. "Ofcourse i can help you." The raven got up from where he was sitting and moved behind the englishman. "First you have your empty hand like this." He held his own hand next to Kirus. His skin was more pale to that of the englishman. "Then you have one stick here and one there." He demonstrated how to hold them. "And at last take a small piece of meat in between them with little pressure, or put the sticks together to lift something up." As he saw how hard it was for the other he let go of the chopsticks and moved his hand around the others hand and slowly helped his with the first piece of meat.

Kirus allowed himself to enjoy the feel of Haku behind him, smirking a little as he felt the other's breath tickle his ear as he spoke, welcoming the warmth of the others hand upon his own. He still found the whole process a little difficult, but chopsticks were something he was going to have to get used to. He bobbed his head forward slightly to pull the section of what he assumed was chicken from the wooden implements and chewed slowly, before swallowing softly and turning a little to let his eyes meet Haku's. "Thank you" he issued softly with a nod of his head, knowing full well that he was pushing his luck with Seti. He also knew by the looks that Seti would probably never admit that there was anything between himself and Haku, so he could take no open offence to any of this.
