Kevyn was confused and now, worst of all, lost. He'd wandered off from the rest of the teens after they'd come through the door ((It happens shortly before the arival of Marael and Gabe)) and now was on his own in this strange place. Things had been weird ever since arriving. His outfit had changed dramatically to a dark-red sleevless shirt with ties in front part-way up, a black vest, a tattered black cape and pants of similar shade and condition, and reddish sandals. His hair was a mess from trying to dry it off and he'd lost his glasses.... which he suprisingly no longer needed.
At the current moment he had managed to find his way back to where the group was, or rather had been. They were gone now. He could see places where the grass was somewhat trampled, but nothing he could make out as a trail... not that tracking people was a specialty of his. It looked like he had no choice but to wait and hope he didn't starve before someone found him.

(ooc - where are we all now, I've had hormonal internets and work, least it's not like the other RP I'm in, I missed 40 odd pages worth of posting there sweatdrop )
Jeni watched all these exchanges quietly, she was still apprehensive, but she always would be. Those who chose the path of a fighter had to be, it was the difference between life and death, even if it was only in metaphors or ideas this was actually played out.

((We are currently within Ichnel's greenhouse/home. Or at least that's what I've gathered. You're still with the group though. Does that help?))
Emmia had taken a liking to Ichnel's house. She had been here two or three times along with Lae in the recent weeks and though she was unsurprised by the appearance of it, she was ever so fascinated with the flora he had in such abundance. Marael's outburst almost made her let out a well hidden giggle as she remembered when Lae and herself were in the same situation. She glanced over at Lae to see her own smirk embodied on her friend's face. Then her curious orange eyes lingered on the mentioned lei that hung about Luke's neck for a breif moment before exploring the glorious scenery that was Ichnel's home. Her mind was almost completely else where during the conversation. The only thing she really heard was Ichnel's delightful laugh as well as his explanation of the Fire's Heart. She found herself drawn to the things of this world that were out of the ordinary and the dark elf's residence along with the fellow himself seemed to be no exception. Lae, of course, knew of her interest in such things and this explained her non-surprise at the group Emmia had run across in the forest.
Emmia held the basket she'd been given within the crook of her arm. She absent mindedly went about staring down all the plants that oddly enough seemed to be looking back. Or as if to say they were indeed aware of her gaze upon them. One interesting lilly almost took a chunk of her exposed stomach, which taught Emmia to keep her distance. She turned back to hear Ichnel speaking of meat, or the lack there of. Emmiadora had tried the commonly shunned food before, in her younger years when she knew not of how the elven community thought of consuming it. She'd wandered to the back markets in the shadows of the main square and had actually enjoyed it's taste, but was then caught by her mother in the act and had been warned not to do so again. She'd said it was so the other younglings did not stare. But back then Emmia had still not understood, had not known why everyone stared at her anyways. She decided against answering Ichnel. She wasn't prepared for any of them to know the connection she had with the subject, nor the similarities between herself and Ichnel, though she was fond of his freindship. Even if these non-elves were unaware of what any of it might mean.

((Kurohime_ito, we're in Bredia village...we met up with Ichnel, a dark elf, and we stopped at his house for food...I think that's all you missed, really...))
Marael couldn't help but grin at Ichnel's enthuasim as he explained about the Fire's Heart lei around Luke's neck. Like Emmia, she gazed about the house in wonder, only half-listening to his explanation. She wasn't good at healing magics, and never had been.
At the mention of meat, Marael glanced over at Gabe, who was circling the group like sheepdog watching his flock. Knowing her distaste of meat, he usually hunted for himself in the woods. Marael herself was an excellent hunter, but she didn't like hunting for him, and hadn't supplied his food since he was a kitten. Seeing Ichnel's inquiring look, she shrugged.
"I don't know about the others, but I prefer not to eat meat. Gabe can hunt for himself." She nodded at the panther, who continued his circling, stopping occasionally to sniff a plant or look behind a chair. She cocked her head at the dark elf.
"How long have you lived in Bredia?" She asked, careful to keep her tone light. She didn't want him to think she was probing, but she'd never heard of a Dark elf leaving Shalondia before. Of course, before today she'd never even considered an elf with rounded ears...

Ichnel nodded. It figured that the elves of the group didn't like meat.
"Watch out for the Dragon Lilies Emmia, they bite," Ichnel added when one of the vibrant emerald lilies tried to bite her. It hissed when it missed her.
He almost sighed when the red headed elf asked him how long he'd lived within Bredia. Many were shocked that the Bredia elves even allowed a dark elf in their village, let alone let one live there. Her question still stung a little, even though she kept the tone light and he knew she meant no harm.
"I have lived here for about 20 years or so..." was all Ichnel said.
Turning away, with even steps, Ichnel walked over to the single Howler Tree in his yard and magicked the ground under him to shoot up so that he was in reach of the clear, tear-shaped pods that grew from the tree's branches. After he stuffed several baskets full of the pods, the pillar of earth sunk back into the ground, and Ichnel walked back to the group.
"These pods are called Wolf's Tears. Although they are plants, they very much taste like meat. This should last you for a week. And I'm sure that even your wonderful panther would enjoy them as well, miss...?" He asked the red-headed elf.
((Almost done! Quick description: Howler Tree= think oak, only bigger with brown leaves. Wolf's Tears= clear, tear-shaped pod. Tastes like and has the consistancy of chicken. Used as a meat substitute far and wide. Dragon Lily= vivid green lily. Omnivorous plants favored as 'watch dogs'. Can understand most speach, but cannot talk themselves. Roughly 3' in height))

Emmia smiled and scratched at the back of her head, embarrassed now that her little confrontation with the lily had indeed been noticed. She let out a small nervous laugh as she shuffled back to Lae's side, now watching Ichnel. "I was starting to get that impression..." she mumbled, glaring back at the Dragon Lily with disdain as it hissed back at her.
Her attention was turned back to Marael at her sudden question. By the way she'd asked it would have appeared as a simple question of curiousity, but the way Ichnel seemed to take it, this was a bit of a shot to the heart. She'd known the dark elf for almost all those twenty years and recognized the hint of hurt in his shadowed face. But she held back any reply that surfaced in her mind, and silently thought of how Marael might take it when she found out what Emmia's own background was.
Orange eyes followed Ichnel as he rose with the earth to reach the pods within the Howler Tree's branches. His magick simply amazed her everytime. He could grow life and do so many useful things with his magick, while all Emmia could do was destroy and burn away the remnants of it. She looked down at swirling mark on her hands, even now they resembled the flames they helped her bring forth. She let her hands drop back to her sides as she looked back to Ichnel while he inquired for Marael's name.

Marael almost immediately regretted her question when she saw the look that flashed in Ichnel's eyes before he gathered himself under control. She sliently kicked herself as he gave a quick response and walked over to a large, brown-leafed tree a short distance away. Good job, Marael. She thought, watching him gather the fruits. With a sigh, she decided that keeping her mouth shut was the best course of action. Surely she couldn't do anything stupid if she kept quiet, right?
When the dark elf turned back to her and inquired as to her name, she jumped slightly, surprised, and stuttered a bit before finally spitting out, "Maraelia. Maraelia Dawn Rivka, but I go by Marael, generally." Her words came out fast, nearly crashing into each other, and Marael's face flushed slightly. She took a deep breath and gave a small, almost-ceremonial bow to the towering elf, wondering why she was so jumpy all the sudden. Pushing the thought aside, she motioned to the panther, who was walking around the tree, sniffing experimentally. "His name is Gaebrial, and I thank you, but he can find his own food." She smiled fondly at the panther. "He gets grumpy if I always supply it for him. He loves hunting."
((silver_death, I love your plants!! So creative...I could never come up with something like that, lol. Cool!))

"It is an honor to meet you, Marael" he said, giving her a semi-formal bow," I hope your stay in Bredia is a pleasant one.
Turning to Gabe he smirked," A hunter are we? Then make sure to go out into the forest a little later. There's plenty of tasty pests to catch and I'm sure you'd enjoy the work out."
Ichnel handed out the Wolf'sTears to the group and then handed Lae and Emmia each a basket of boiled Redbell petals.
"For dessert," he said after their inquiring looks.
Ichnel swept his white eyes along the arrivals. They were strange, but ever so fascinating to him. Ichnel didn't recognize their clothing, but there was no mistaking the sheer power level of magick around them. They all stood out in their own way, but there were three of them that stood apart to him. Two females and one male. Of the girls, one was of the wind, the other of his element, earth. The boy, however, was definitely of fire. Ichnel smirked. He wondered how they would fair in a fight, what with all the pulsing magick around them. He was suprised the other elves of the group hadn't caught on to their power yet, or maybe they had?
Ichnel shook his head. He'd seek a duel or two with the arrivals later. Right now, their care came first.
"Are there any other food related items you need, Lae? Emmia?" he asked.

Emmia, so silly! Almost bitten by a mere lilly. Smirking, she caught Emmia's eyes while her own turned to an amused yellow. Showing Emmia her thoughts through her amused eyes about her being almost taken out by a plant. Giving Emmia a grand smile she turned her attention to more pressing matters.
Focusing on all of what Ichnel had asked her and the group. She first thought of what he had mentioned about the healing potions.
Healing potions.....wow! I have never even seen one in action before. She knew them to be quite rare and most of the time elves stock holded them to make sure when they got hurt they had something to rely on. It was all due to the fact all elves had one great trouble when it came to healing. For elves and their really long life span healing was something that could take forever. Even a tiny cut could take weeks to heal properly. Unless of course if a healing elf was around. Just by them being around could they speed up the process tremendiously. If they actually used their magick it would take seconds for any thing to heal. Also though it depended on the healing elfs training and how strong their magick was. However, healing potions were more reliable than the ever uncommon healing elf so their was much more a need for them.
Yet the fact Ichnel can talk about them so careless means it must not be hard for him to brew them. Knowing Ichnel I bet their the best around.... Having made up her mind, Lae decided they would be perfect for the group. Who knows how long it could take for them to heal!
Watching Ichnel pick the wolfs tears from the huge tree in the middle of the room. She couldn't be more grateful twords him. She didn't know how any elf could wonder about his place in the village of Bredia. If only they tried to get to know him better.... Knowing that, that may not happen for quite some time made her feel sad for him. Ichnel must be lonley, having only the few of us and his plants for real company. Putting the negative thoughts out of her head she focused on taking the basket he was handing them and the question he was asking Emmia and her at the moment. She thought it all out and replied with,
"Ichnel, all of us are forever grateful for everything you have give us. I'm sure we have enough food to last us quite awhile but I do know that we may need take you up on your offer on some healing potions. We really may need them if we are to take care of such a big group of....erm...."
Saying everything in a grateful wistful wisper she took a deep bow that showed the deepest respect. She hoped he wouldn't mind them asking for more after everthing he had given them. She looked up at him curiously as she shifted the newly optained basket under her free arm.
((Missed a bit...eh Sorry! Tried to fit it all in one post so it may be a bit....blocky and hard to understand. That though would be my fault! XD))

Ichnel smiled fondly at Lae.
"It is no problem at all, my dear," he said.
Ever since he first took up residence in Bredia, it was she and Emmia that made his transition into the community bearable. He had no qualms about helping those truly in need or those he called friends. His smiled widened and he briefly dissapeared into the depths of his gar-house, I mean house! and came back with 3 large sized flasks of the healing potions. He handed them to Marael as Emmia and Lae's hands were already full of food.
Ichnel still wondered as to the origins of the strangers, so he asked the group," Forgiveness I seem forward, but from where do you hail?"

Haylin was shocked, how could so many different plants stuffed together live in harmony? It just wasn't possible! At least a few should look unhappy or even abit dried up. However, every single one was perky, green, and incrediably happy. They looked almost as if they wanted to reach out and touch the tall Ichnel every time he passed by. Man, if only my mom knew this guy she would be in heaven. Maybe even he could tell her how not to kill her ferns that mom worked do hard to keep alive. Mom...would I even see her again? Her dark eyes filled with tears with just thinking about home and family. How was she going to survive not even seeing them again. She needed to think of something else, or she was going to end up as a sobbing mess in front of everyone. Going behind a safe looking large plant she wiped her eyes clean and took some time to collected herself. Comming back from being behind the plant she noticed that the dark Ichnel was examining her, Luke and another girl. Shy upon his clear inquiring eyes she looked down and folded her arms over her chest as too cover more of her body up. While looking down she then again noticed the golden dust that still covered her skin. I though that would have come off by now! Shoot, why is it still on me?! She thought while getting clearly angry. Little to be known to her, but the small plants around her were shaking as to if a small breeze had suddanly come through the closed off room.

Luke's fascination with his flowers breaks as the big dark elf inquires about them. "We hail from a land far away." His voice flows with a smooth slight english accent. "I'm not even sure if we are in the same world anymore." He stops here, this finally sinking in. Not in the same world...a new start... His attention breaks again as his eyes are drawn outside. Out a window, he could have sworn he saw some movement. A blank look of concern covers his face as his hand slips to his hilt. He's unsure of what he saw, but he's certain he saw something. This is when he begins looking for Gabe, just to see if he's noticed anything...

Emmia nodded with a joyous smile as she watched Lae start off on her 'ever-so-thankful' speech again. But this time she held the same thought in mind and probably couldn't have stated her feelings better. She had bowed along with Lae at the same moment, lifting her head to try and add in her own words of thanks. "Really, Ich, we couldn't have managed all of this without you. You're a real life saver, you are. Honestly we wouldn't have known what was good and what was... elf-hungry..." she said as she gave the Dargon Lilies another wary look.
She noted which of the group Ichnel seemed to be looking towards and followed his snow colored eyes to the three before him. Of course... the boy who wanted her fire magick. Why had she not felt it before? And the girls as well. All three had very strong auras of magick. Now Emmia gazed curiously at each of them in turn, paying particular attention to the boy that was looking around. Presumably for the panther, Gabe, he seemed to have befriended so quickly. Another world, did he say? How peculiar. She had been meaning to ask...
"While we're on the subject, may I ask... I'm sure all of us have been wondering... but, what exactly are all of you?" The words were already out before she could stop them. 'Oh no... maybe I went too far...' she thought, her eyes shifting to a light pink of embarrassment once more as color filled her cheeks.

What is it?! Now not only was Ichnel staring at them but also Emmia seemed to have taken a big intrest. With Emmia also staring Haylin couldn't stop herself from worring about her appearence again.
Is it the fact I have like no clothes on? Or maybe is it the fact I'm glowing like no tommorow?
When Emmia asked her question, Haylin couldn't be more relieved. It seemed they were wondering more about what they were than anything else. She decided that now was the time for her to step up to the plate and help explain a few things about them. Standing up to her full height she looked at Emmia with courage and said,
"If you all are really wondering what you should call us, it would be our names. However, I do understand why your curious to know what we are. In our land we are called humans. We only know what all of you are from stories and myths. Simply because elves do not exsist where we come from. Let alone weapons of this sort were only used in our past."
With saying the last part Haylin swiftly took out her Saber from its place on her hip. Noticing the elves shocked reations, she took it and placed it in both hands careful not to look as if she wanted to use the weapon. Looking down at it she said mornfully,
"I dont even know how to use it corectly, so when we arrived here I dont know why I should be blessed with such a weapon. None of us are used to this kind of setting or even weapons of this sort. Let alone worring for our lives at any given time."
Looking back up from her weapon, her eyes were gleaming from newly gained tears. Looking back up at the elves she said determined,
"I dont know why I'm here, nor why we as a group seemingly were chosen to go through the door. All I do know is that while I am here, I'm going to make the best of the situation."
Her eyes clear of tears and her voice clearly heard she said while deeply bowing,
"My name is Haylin, and for now my life is in all of your hands. I cannot help but trust you, for all of you are my only hope here."
((I hope I didn't say too much, but I just thought it was too good of an opening to miss.^^ Also I left it so Magick is still in question.))

Shocked indeed, Emmia's stare was thrown back to this 'Haylin' girl as she stepped up towards her. Her first words sent Emmia's temper reeling, and for a moment her eyes had even flicked to red before Haylin went on in her little speech. 'Who does this girl think she is...?' Was her first thought. "Humans, huh..." she murmured to herself. She'd heard of them before. In some kind of youngling story. But they hadn't been described to look anything like these odd round-eared non-elves. That, she knew for certain. Humans were said to be ravinous monsters that destroyed land and animals alike. Uprooting every forest and snuffing out anyone or thing that was different from their own race. And even then they had terrible wars against each other and killed one another with remorse nor reason. Also there were some stories that their clothes covered them completely, showing no skin except for their heads and hands. They were used in stories to teach elven younglings about protecting nature and accepting all elves. But occasionally, like today in the main square of Bredia, these morals were forgotten. She smirked a little at how bold Haylin was suddenly seeming to be, and decided not to hold it against her. After all, they were out of their own world. But after a while the smirk faded as it become obvious how distressed the poor girl truly was. Now she almost wanted to say something to comfort her, but quickly the feeling died as she seemed to collect her self, then bow to the elves before her. Emmia answered her bow with a nod and a bow as well, to show she respected her for saying all that she did. "You must not trouble yourself so. I think we'd all agree that with us around to help all you huma-- I mean, to help all you people then surely you will be safe. Haylin, despite your earlier encounter with the elves of this city, you are welcomed here and will be taken care of. All of you will be." she said as she straightened and gave an encouraging smile before looking over at her elven friends. "Right, Lae, Ichnel?" she turned to the Wisatian elf, keeping her smile. "Marael?"
