James laughed, "Whatever you say." He flopped onto the nearest bed, laying back. He had no intention of sleeping. He often stayed up through the night, only daring to sleep when daylight came.

Raph used tha ball of flame to dry the floor, catching the other bed on fire. (the bed that he broke.) "Great, more problems!" He drew the flames off the bed and dried the rest of the cave with the fire. Raph lied on the floor, but didn't find it to his liking. It was hard and lumpy. He stood back up and said to James, "Scoot over, I am not sleeping on that floor. It makes my back hurt."

"I-uh" James was very red in the face. There was no way in hell he was sleeping on the floor though. He scooted over as far as he possibly could.

Raph saw that there was still very little room in the bed. "Thank you. I am tired from fighting, I am so tired from fighting and I really need to sleep." Raph layed down, facing the oppisite direction from James. He drifted to sleep, his mind began to sleep. He was to tired to care if anything else happened.

James sighed. He slipped out of bed, he didn't want to fall asleep while he was supposed to be listening out for intruders anyways. He knelt down by the door, keeping watch.

dread got to the alley way were the entrance was, he poppedc back up on the surface world and coughed out blood, he was cut and bleeding all over, " damn shadopw world... always take advantage of you when your weak...."he stood up weakly and opened the door, the fire demon guards saw him and rang the emergencie bell
Back at the room, the lycans dagger grew and turned ibnto a l;ong sword, he turned lycan and said," oh... you ae foolish... sayin y am i attakckin you intruders? you didnt say teh password and threatened me... what do you expect?" the lycan said getting into his battlestance, he suddenly heard teh alert bell, he said " lucky for yu intruders... i have to go..." he started running to the main room

Keith jumped off the bed hearing the alarm and ran out of the room and ran in the direction the other lycan did. When he caught a glimpse of the lycan he followed him.

Raph woke up after James had gottne out of the bed. He layed there for a few hours, trying to go to sleep again, but he was worried. He didn't want James to be alone if that powerful dark being showed up. Raph got up and walked over to James, the ball of flame following him. He took a set next to James. His but got wat, but he didn't care. "I was worried about you. I don't want you to die protecting me. If anything, it should be the other way around. I want you to go to bed, get some sleep. I'll keep watch." Raph said to him, smiling.

the lycan gopt to teh main den ands saw some vampires carrying dread off in a stretcher, he was bleeding and coughing, the lycan cried" UNCLE!!!!" he ran over to dread and dread said to him,"calm down... ill be fine.... its not liek i cant take some cuts...." he cougehd again harder, "but tell teh clan leader... the war has truly started...." dread coughed even harder and the two vampires carried him off to the medical room

Lazarus awoke from his trance, once again at his full power. He stared at his hands as they crackled with violet sparks. He couldn't help giving a smirk. After a moment or two, he turned his attention to the entrance of the cave.
"Excellent. The barrier held all night. I must admit... I was worried for a second there. I was at least below 10% my normal power."
The Hellstar Staff emitted a glow and spoke.
"I understand. However, if the barrier were to have ceased to be, I would have protected you. After all... who needs barriers when one could simply... oh... rip the skeleton from a creature's body?"
Lazarus nodded in agreement.
"This is true, but barriers are much quieter... and cleaner for that matter. Now then, what about that celestial power you mentioned last night?"
The Hellstaff emitted a glow.
"Forgive the disappointment, but the Seraphim still lives. It no longer bleeds, so it must have sought shelter and healing. Though it may be weak from the night before, I would still not advice to attack. The wounded often enlist a companion, so the Seraphim will most likely not be alone. Regardless, there are many more night creatures that are expendible. Let them handle the dirty work. Our only concern is gaining more power and should the Seraphim fall, we shall obtain its blood. Truly, it is extremely potent and should further increase your necromantic abilities. For now, we wait."
Lazarus nodded again.
"Very well. I can wait."
He leaned his back against a wall in the cave and rested.

Jade jumped to her feet. She was very angry about the lycan questioning their presence there. Why had Dread simply left them without any knowledge of passwords or other secret things they would need to know not to be deemed intruders. "Kieth!" she shouted after him as he ran, breaking into a run herself. She followed Kieth and the other lycan to the entrance of the fortress where there was a large commotion. "Dread!" she gasped when she saw him. He was badly injured. She heard him declare the war had begun. She watched as the two medical officials carried him off to the medical room. She turned to Kieth, putting a hand on his arm. Her hand was shaking slightly. "This is not good."

James looked over at him, the tips of his wings twitching.
"Thanks" He smiled sheepishly, "I normally wouldn't accept, but I am a little tired. And you seem to be a lot stronger than me."
He stood up, walking over to the bed. "Good night then."

Lazarus awoke to the sound of rain. Strangely, the rain was crimson in color. The Hellstar Staff emitted a glow to get Lazarus' attention.
"I can see that you are puzzled as to why it appears to be raining blood. This is the signal that this so-called war between humans, angels, and night creatures has begun. Remember Lazarus, we operate behind the scenes. Let the peons do the rough stuff."
Lazarus nodded.
"Indeed. There is no point in possibly getting hurt when you have lesser night creatures to die for you."
With that, the rain had stopped.

the two vampire sdropped dread in to the medical roonm, they closed teh doors, there was rustlibg and screams of pain came from the doors, the lyacn from earlier turned back human and left teh clans base, and started walking around teh city, it started raining blood from the sky"what...what s this??? am i going crazy/... or is it raining blood?" the lycan said holding his hands out, he then reembered teh prophecie dread told him... the prophecy that the war that shall change the whole world forever... the war of the night... he staired around looking for anything that would be a danger

Jade bit her lip as she watched the two vampires shut the door and walk away. The other lycan ran outside into the city. Jade thought of following, but she figured it was best to wait until Dread was back up to speed in order to make their next move. She turned to say something to Kieth when the screams of pain from the medical room reached her sensitive ears. "Oh...God...what's going on?" she said aloud to no one in particular. She tensed. She wasn't sure if she should run to the room and see how they were hurting him. She waited to see if he would scream again.
