"Hmm..." Lenler said, looking to Rate. "I can't find him, that's for sure, but I know he spent time with a bunch of old clone war vets... If we find them, they may lead us to Sep."

Groz had been around this savannah for at least a good day, maybe two. He could not tell for he had not been sleeping solidly, but taking quick haf-an-hour naps every two hours or so. It was affecting his way of telling time. But he had been faring well. None of Seya-Qu's famed beasties had found him, but he had found them. Small animals he had caught and killed, he did need food after all. His water had been hard to get, and he found very few pools or ponds. He had discovered a watering hole, but stayed away, for he knew large gruesome beats would hunt him if he let his guard down there. But he had just woken up and was now traversing further into the Wilderness, searching for a suitable place to stay in the upcoming days.

Diana lucked out this time. Some of the more disgusting-looking things Bolba had to eat were apparently spoiled, and he wasn't in the mood for further pleasure until he recovered from it. Unfortunately, he blamed the Twi'lek for not preparing it right, and she was sent off naked to a group of thugs.

" Bolba, if it's all the same to you, I'd like most of the day off. I need to go out and get some air. I've been stomping around here for days now and I just need to get out for a while. " Duke said to the Hutt. Seeing as most of the action had died down and doesn't seem likely to start up again for a day or two, Bolba nodded.

Before long, Duke headed off, appearing as a mere civillian on a speeder bike after having changed his clothes to help him blend in with the locals once he got to where he was headed.

(You guys forget about Nordes, hes in NK aswell and is just as good.)

"Hmm...hes good. Clone Wars mercenary veteran? I think I heard something about him when I came in. But now I've confirmed it."Rate pondered for a second, and let out a sigh."Thats the only bloke who has arms around here?" He shook his head and gather his trash and dumped into a near-by bin."Might as well check out this veterans club." He have a thankful nod to the man and headed to the door."Whens your next brake kid?"

C4 rebooted, unsure of his surroundings once again. It wasn't extremely different from the last place, a bit brighter, about 20 lumens by his sensors, but that was about it. The dome spun left and right, noticing various work droids and helpers. He was thrown onto a droid shop and that'd be it.

"See you awoke, little one," the keeper said. He seemed kind enough, though a bit greasy and scruffy. A human, slightly dark, about mid-fourties. "Premium model, excellent shape, I guess. You're shiny, and that's about as much as I know. Sluggo runs and maintains you grease buckets, I just own the shop. Good thing too, with the crackdown on non-human establishments. Sluggo wouldn't be able to work under these conditions."

A Dug came through, whom C4 assumed as the one designated "Sluggo". The human waved, as the Dug walked right by.

"Don't worry 'bout him. All dugs are impolite... But at least here in Port Loka, you may find a decent owner. I hope at least. But at 700 credits, I'm thinking Sluggo may be a bit too optimistic."

The Repairs on #06 were taking too long.
Any time now, what was left of the PDF could return, or worse: that Alien Sniper could show.
Special Missions needed to be ready for deployment at a moment's notice.
And thats what brought Kara to a droid shop downtown in search of an astromech.
Walking in garbed in her Imperial fatigues, her sidearm secured to her thigh, the Imperial cast a glance about for a shopkeep.
"Hey! Anyone here? I'm looking for an atstromech!"

Duke stopped just outside of town, knowing he can't just ride right in without an Imp or 2 asking him things or such. He kept going around until he spotted a familiar building's back. Since his bike would make too much noise for his comfort, he dismounted it and hurried up to the back of the building. He looked around carefully, then looked beyond the walls into the short alleys and into the street to make sure the coast was clear. Squatting down, he pressed into the wall in what appeared to be just part of a larger, intricately designed paintjob. A small part of the wall made a barely audible clicking noise and opened up, revealing a button. He pressed it, once again looking around to make sure the coast was still clear.

Inside, the building appeared to be a trashed cantina or some similar establishment. A few various beings were about, having a drink or 2 and chatting idly. The bartender looked down at a red light that caught his eye, invisible from the other side of the bar. Ducking down, as though he was picking a bottle or something from the cabinet, he was actually looking at the monitor of a hidden camera, showing Duke facing the back wall. After hitting a button next to it, he popped back up, appearing as if he simply moved a bottle or 2 around.

The back wall made a clicking sound and opened up, revealling a hidden enterance. Duke entered, and the wall closed back up behind him. Once inside, he was in a back room filled with stocked bottles and other things, a typical storage room for someone who runs a place that sells drinks. Walking to the far end of the room, he took out a few specific bottles from a certain case and moved them into specific places into another case, after looking at their labels to be sure he picked the right ones. Another secret enterance opened up in the floor, leading underground.

Once underground, he was greeted by a pair of thugs. " Hey, Duke, what brings you here? " one of them said, while working on something. " Had to get outta the palace for a while. So what's the latest? " Duke replied. The thug continued to focus on his work, but answered. " Working on this guy's pass. Because of some curfew law the Imps have now, we gotta make sure our boys roaming around don't get hounded. If you need one you'll have to wait a bit. These things take some effort you know. " The other thug started up. " Yeah. I already got questioned 4 times, but I managed to convince them I was on my way to get a pass because I have to travel a bit and needed their man in charge to authorize me to do so. Luckily, instead of having to try to con whoever that is into giving me one, I swiped one of some random local without him realizing, which is what he, " he motioned to the other one that was working, " is using as a base to work with. By the way, how's the boss? "

Duke gave a rather bland expression. " Same as always. Apparently ate some bad... whatever the Hell that slop was, and blamed the girl, so he sent her off naked to some of the guys as punishment. " Both thugs started to laugh a bit. " I'm amazed it's been this long. I guess that other one has been keeping him in a good mood. " " Yeah... " Duke responded. " ... I just don't like the concept of sloppy seconds. " " Are you kidding? I'd be happy with twentieths. " " You are one desperate vrelt. " " Well at least I don't discriminate. " They all laughed. They continued idle chatter while waiting on the passes to be finished.

B&S Droid Shop, located on the easternmost side of Port Loka, owned by Deell Kator. Of course, any local could point out that Deell was only an accountant, by no means even close to knowledgable about droids. He just managed the money, and with his human status, kept the story running. Sluggo, his Dug partner, supposedly was taken from Malastare by Deell, although how the two became friendly to each other still raised speculation. Either way, Sluggo was perhaps the most fairly treated Dug of his kind, although nowhere near stardom like many of the podracers or as rich.

It wasn't illegal to hire aliens. In fact, it only helped the tax breaks, as a Dug could be classified as slave labor (or minimum wage if slavery would be looked down on). Sluggo happened to be a constant hunter as well. His agressive tendencies were mitigated through annual hunting trips, and negotiating deals. It seemed the best way to keep him contained.

"We'll patch you right up. Stick you next to the other R5s and R4s we got. Though, we're but a small planet. Only three droid shops total actually handle "new shipments" such as yourself. The rest are just used droid shops. Things like the PK series, ASPs, and especially those cheap OX9s and lifter models tend to be eaten up, not really much market for somethign your caliber," Deell stated.

"Sounds like the Dug has a customer, let's get you in line before someone notices..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sluggo headed towards the front of the store, just as some female charged in.
"Who cares?" Lenler asked, eyes gleaming with the possibility of adventure... "Mom'll understand, let's just go now!"
Kara made out the word Imperial, but that was it.
Terrific. A Dug. I only came here for an astromech, not a translator!
The Officer sighed and scratched her head.
"Um...bazi batza Bazic?" She said, hopping the dug spoke the Bocce trade language or Basic.
Duke was now playing Pazaak with the other thug while the forger was still working. The room had some things around to help keep yourself entertained. Just sitting there, waiting for what felt like forever for a simple forged pass was about as boring as it could get. In the middle of a game, the thug said, " Hey, you parked in a good spot right? I mean, your ride's gonna be sitting for hours and someone's bound to come by the place. " " Relax, it's out of town and out of sight. I'm not a rookie anymore, been at this gig for years. " Duke replied. The game continued. " Who's winning? I lost track. " the thug said. " Kriff if I know. "
Back at the palace, Bolba had recovered from the spoiled food he had eaten, and was now in the need of some... attention... to help him get back in good spirits. As Diana looked around and watched the Twi'lek being dragged off by yet another thug, her view became more distant as the sound of moving metal was heard. Bolba's throne was heading into his private chamber. Her luck wasn't as long-lived as she hoped it would be.
"She won't whip me..." Lenler said, leading the way outside. Making sure that Rate was following him, he turned left down a side street that would eventually lead to the site of the Veteran's club frequented by Sep.
"I, uh, don't actually know your name." He said softly, slowing down slightly to talk, "Mine's Lenler."
"Rate Barras. Good to meet yah kid."He followed the boy until they came up to the building, asking to make sure if that was it. Looked more like a cantina. Opening the door he peeked in before stepping foot into the establishment. He made his way to the bar with the kid in tow and set his bag on the bar after taking a seat and signaling the barkeeper.
"I'm looking for a Charr Nbarr, hes a little bit on the green side I'm told."Rate said with a slight smile on his face before adding."Also, I'll take a spiced ale, short glass."
The Dug seemed more than furiated at the Impish woman. A long stream of curses thrown in his native language, which under most circumstances seem foolish, aroused a wall model 3PX unit, oranged from rust.
"I'm afraid that few dugs make it off planet. Even fewer know languages past Gran and Dug. I guess I'll have to simply traslate for you, like every other customer. I am N-3PX. You'll have to forgive sluggo. He's only doing his job."
