A sense of relief washes over Aluure at the touch of the Prince's hand on her head. The tension around her eyes easing as she watches Prince Seere tend to her brother. Holding her brother's hand tightly, she wonders who the prince had been speaking of. Her own mother had the gift of healing from her acolyte days to the Water God, but Aerandir had no taste for long distance travel. Aluure also couldn't imagine putting her mother through the strain of knowing her son lay unconscious on a tavern floor. Each parting when their family took on a mission away from home was bad enough. Combing her fingers through Kel's sweat moistened hair, she wonders to distract herself. When did Kel lose the leather thong that usually keeps his shoulder length hair back? With a slight smile, she glances at the door at the shrill call and the flap of wings. Gentle fingers stroking Kel's sweat beaded brow, she murmurs, "Help will be here brother, hang on. I'll make you the butternut cakes you like so much when we get home. With as much honey as mother will allow you..."
((mmm butternuts!! they taste like walnuts!! weee omg... D, remind me never to have the cola my roommate has with my painkillers!! xD))

Seere walks back into the tavern looking a little less stressed then he had been before. He crouches down beside Kel, rocking back a little to lanace on his heels as he watches the pained elfs face. "Moonglow is with her...she should not be long" he says in a low murmer, as if to himself.
Diandriel looked up as she hears the falcons cry from above her head. Fion fly swiftly, dipping into a dive to eventually land smoothly on Moonglows back. The mare dances, startled, and Diandriel lays a calming hand on Moonglow's forehead. The mare calms under her touch and Diandriel reaches for Fion, murmering soft elven words to calm the jittery bird. Fion ruffles his feathers and begins to disintrestly preen himself as Diandriel gently removes the scroll from around his leg. Her eye brighten when she reads the note. Seere was at teh Spirit Den! What wonderful News! Diandriel had been unable to get over teh feeling of guilt of not seeing him when she was late in the wood. She reads further in the note, her smile creasing. But there was trouble. Orcs...in daylight! Apparently Seere did not send Fion just to being greetings. She need return to the Den Immediatly. She strokes Moonglows velvety nose once more before nimbly jumping onto the More bare back. She leans low over her neck "We must travel fast!" The firey spirited mare lifts her head and whinnies a challenge to the sky, startling Fion enough to cause teh bird to take off and circle above their heads. With a slight hop Moonglow take off across the plain, her silvery main mixing with Diandriel's Emerald hair as they speed back towards Crossroads.

Looking up when the Prince re-enters the tavern, she smiles softly and bows her head in greeting. At his words a flicker of confusion passes in her eyes. Moonglow? That sounds... familiar... Looking at her brother's pain furrowed brow, she wonders if she should reveal what she had found when attempting to heal Kel. Looking back up at Seere's face, she purses her lips. When when sounds of the tavern break through to her, she bites her tongue. I'll tell them later... when we're not surrounded by strangers... and dubious characters. She adds glancing at Arigoth and Luuva. yes, best I wait to tell the Prince

Arigoth smirked, "Actually I have tried to keep a broken town togeather while my family's died around me. But we'll continue this arguement later." He said as he turned his attnetion to the new company, "Here, this may help." He said as he handed over some Herbs. "Orcs, where at?" He said starting for the stairs to go to his room.

It could have been the stress of her brother being injured and beyond her healing power. It could have been the fatigue of hauling her injured brother for several hours. It could have been her fierce sense of loyalty. It could have been many things that triggered her venomous emotions. But one thing that was certain, was the anger Aluure felt as she stared at those herbs. Her small fist clenching around them, she glares up through a curtain of her golden brown locks. "You think a town compares to an entire kingdom of elven-kind? You think yourself equal to the foundation stone an entire civilization had found stability in, when chaos and destruction reined around them? You think yourself a better fighter than my brother, when all you have seen is the tainted aftermath of his skill? You think I, an earthen healer, would not try all that is in my knowledge and power to save my own brother?" Thrusting the crushed herbs back at Arigoth, her hand shaking slightly in her fury. "You may take these back, my lord, " she says with a sarcastic snarl, "I thank you for your... generosity; but I shall wait for the aid the Prince of the Emerald Wood has called for."

"Arigoth took the herbs back, thats fine then." He sneered, he went back up to his room and doned on his armor and blades and walked downthe stars Ryku at his heels he said nothing to the group of elves that had enterd the spirit den as he left. He went through the door and made his way towards the gates of the city.

((just to make sure kakash, I hope you don't think we're ganging up on you or anything 3nodding elves in the area of the Emerald Wood are all loyal to the royal family 3nodding Just, ya, I have have people get pissed off in rp before and take ir personally and leave and I don't want that to happen 3nodding ))
Luuva couldn't help a last remark muttered under her breath "tried and failed I presume" she says with rolled eyes as she moves over to Seere and the others. She sits indian style beside Aluure laying a calming hand on the childs and offering her a teasing smile "don't worry, he's just a stubborn fool." she narrows her eyes slightly as she remembers the burned handprint on the table "But a dangerous fool with a talent like that" she says under her breath so Aluure could not hear. She looks over at Seere with questioning eyes.
Seere sees the look in Luuva's eyes and drops his head a little with a slightly embarrassed smile. "Yes, I summoned Dia" he says, using the nickname for his sister that her family and friends used "But at least I waited until I had more of a reason then just to see her" Luuva shakes her head a smiles.
Diandriel passed through the gates, slowing Moonglow slightly as she does so. As she passes under the gateway she passes a rath angry looking elf. She gives him a moments thought, wondering what had happened to make him so angry before continuing. She sits back and sighs. Of course her hood wasn't drawn and she had left her tiara on, so as Seere had earlier Diandriel recieved many stares, some hostile. Even Moonglow drew attention, for there were not many mares of her size, build and interesting color in the area. That was the reason Diandriel usually left the mare to roam outside the town.

Arigoth ran out to the tree just out side the gates Ryku at his heels still, He turned to the big white tiger, He reached into his sachel and pulled out a dark looking gause, "Here old friend take a wiff of this and point me in the right direction." He says placing the gause under Ryku's nose. Ryku sniffed it and stepped back overpowerd by its stench, he circled once the pointed with his head in the direction of the Orcs that attacked the elves. "Well done my friend." Arigoth said as they started running in that direction. "We'll have to go see these light resistant orcs." He said to himself.
((No offense taken', I just walked out to spice up somethings and to set other events in motion than just arguing.))

((yeah... sorry kakash!! Don't leave sad D has been telling me of this rp ever since we met O.O;; so... yeah...I probably know more about the towns and things better than others just joining the rp, because I have D sweatdrop But where did you get that cloth that had the orc's scent on it? O.o` I are the confuzzed))))
Taking a few deeps calming breaths, Aluure settles herself down enough to smile at Luuva without a residue hostile spark in her eyes. She felt so frazzled from everything that has happened in such a small period of time. Added with the nerves jittering at being within close proximity to a member of the royal family, made for a heady combo on oneself. Thinking she had gotten herself calm, at the mention of Dia, Aluure's spine straightens. Surely Princess Diandriel wouldn't be that Dia? Her thoughts scatter when the sound of hooves on stone come from outside. Surely not...but if it is possible...

(( eve, your always confuzzled rofl but ok...I guess that kinda works, just try to avoid too many running off on your own quests 3nodding ))
Despite the gravity of the situation Seere chuckles softy at the look on Aluure's face. "Stop looking so scared child, I promise I will not bite you" he was used to this treatment, and while it usually bothered hom that people were so formal, something about this child didn't irk him the way others did. "You are clearly loyal to the Royal Family and have nothing to worry about. Luuva will not snap at you like she did that other elf" he gives Luuva a mock threatening glare and Luuva playfully sticks out her tounge at him. (yay for childhood friend razz ) Seere was trying to lighten the mood as he waited for Dia. "You look confused child" he says after returning Luuva's mocking face. "If you have any questions ask. this is your brother we deal with and you have a right to know anything you wish!"

((Thats no problem, I got the cloth while on a journy a few years back, if ya want that in the rp then ask Arigoth.))
Arigoth and Ryku amazingly were running top speed and keeping up with one another, "I hope they aren't to far off, I'm itching to fight these orcs and let out some aggression." He said to himself as the ran across the plains off of the road. Ryku looked serious ready to pounce on the first threat it seen and kill. Arigoth noticed this but said nothing, "I want Ryku to be ready." He told himself as the made their way accross the plains.

((no I'm not!!! Sometimes I'm stressed biggrin or pissed off sweatdrop or sleeping 3nodding ))
Smiling as she shakes her head, a nervous laugh lacing her words, "No, no. I'm not scared my lord... well I am for my brother. But never scared of you, my lord. It's just..." the fact that the only times I have ever seen you or your family in the flesh was from a distance. And only while perched on my father's shoulders. she wanted to say. But not wanting to embarrass him or her family by announcing how low birth she was, she finishes with, "the day has been long, and I am not used to so much excitement all in one day as well. So I suppose my emotions may be a little confused," and excited she thinks to herself. If Dia was truly Princess Diandriel, oh the wonders she could learn from her. Even if for only a few moments would be like the moon breathing on my cheek. Miraculous and awe inspiring.

((Oh great, no pressure for the almighty Dia then eh blaugh ))
Diandriel keeps her sharp emerald eyes foreward, ignoring the whispers and sneers and sideways looks, the mother who pulled their children into doorways to avoid being tainted by teh eyes of the elf. And not just any street elf, but the High Princess of the Emerald Wood. In moments like this Diandriel could almost empathize with her step fathers view of the mortals. She breaths a sigh! But she would never resort to the means he had. Some of her close friends were mortals, or so close to mortals they may as well be. She thinks fondly for a moment about Tenjina, who was only quarter elf and an adopted sister of sorts, to the irk of her step father. The hot headed fire mage could be a handful at times, but she was still as close to Diandriel as Seere, her flesh and blood brother, was. She shakes her head briskly to clear it of all these thoughts. Diandriel had a bad habit of wandering off in thought in moment she really shouldn't. For the moment she should concentrate on teh task as hand. And that task was remembering what her mother had taught her about healing. Diandriel's talent didn't lie in healing solely, but often she could mold her developed earthern powers to fix problems normal medicines couldn't help. Seere had not said what kind of injury it was, but if Seere had taken an interest in this particular case of Orc attacks, then it was Diandriel's duty as his elder sister to aid where she could. She shakes her head again with a slight smile. There she goes, wandering off in thought again. She fixes her gaze on her surroundings, startled to find that she was quite close to the Den. When she sees the swinging sign depicting a deep forest grove she dismounts, leaving Moonglow, during a rare instence, in the care of the stable boy. Moonglow was normally skittish around others, espicially males, but she was used to teh stable boy and followed him obiediently to the stables. Diandriel quickly ties her loose Emerald hair back with a leather thong before pushing the door to the Den open with one hand. She stops just inside, not saying a word, simply taking in the scene with her gold flecked Emerald eyes.
