"I see, I always found travel to be quite pleasant." Haze sighed dreamily, remembering her trips to the various countries of Silar.
Retta giggled at the nickname Reid had given her, it sounded a lot easier than what Haze made. She tilted her head in the manner Reid did, her ears wiggling in the process.

Chao let out a soft chuckle. Pleasant...right, not her word of choice, but she doubted they had similar definations of 'travel'. She smiled all the same, "is this your first time away from your world, Silar?"
Catching Retta's positive reaction Reid smiled and nodded, confirming the name, "Lil 'Ta," he repeated then caught sight of her ears wiggling. Another new thing!
The firefly attempted to copy the motion, only to find it impossible, frowning he attempted to wiggle anything on his head. His antenai twitched bit then he shook his head to disregard the slightly unplesant feeling of that motion and shrugged, "Reid can'nt move Reid's ears like Lil' Ta," he said, looking around, suddenly restless for movement.
"Lil' Ta like danc'?" he asked with an eager flutter of his wings.

"Hmm? No, but I rarely stay longer than a day. I've been here for a few months now. I do admit, Gaia does have its charms." Haze chuckled, "Though it doesn't have the same feel as Silar, it will do."
Retta giggled at his antennai, but her attention went to his wings. They fluttered! And was reminded of something she wasn't sure of. A sensation of hunger, of being the target, and she suddenly shuddered. Did Reid just say something just now? She wondered, shaking her head to clear her mind.

Definately different ideas of travel. "It does have it's charms..." she glanced fondly over to her son, mulling over how weird it was to be tied to someplace with things other than memories and friends.
Reid's smile fell a bit, taking the shudder and the shake of Retta's head to mean that she was quite against dancing, "Lil' Ta no like danc'?" he asked, wondering what could turn someone against the fun activity.

Haze blocked out the thoughts of Scardane because it would eventually lead to thoughts of her brother. She was still angry at him, petty as the reason was.
"Are you staying here, or do you live elsewhere and have a portal connecting your son's room to this establishment?" Haze asked, it felt so foreign talking about children. Haze was far more accustomed with gossip and matching up potential lovers.
Retta blinked and tilted her head in confusion, what was this 'danc' that Reid was talking about. She bleated softly, hoping he'd explain what was this thing he was talking about.

"I live elsewhere with a portal connecting our home to Reid's room," Chao replied easily, "What about you? Are you staying here with Retta?"
Catching the change of tone to one of confusion Reid frowned and placed his dragon plush in Lil' Ta's lap and hopped up, deciding the best way to explain dancing was to demonstrate.
"Danc''s like this," he said and began to hum a fairly quick tune that he'd been trying to work out on the piano for a while now.
He began to shift his feet and shut his eyes, moving in time to an invisible partner. A spin there, a small florish there; it wasn't anything he'd ever really seen but it felt right enough to the tune he continued to hum.

"Thankfully no, the owner was kind enough to explain the alternatives to staying here." Haze chuckled, "I'm staying in the house my employee manages while I'm in Silar. But since I have decided to linger in Gaia a little longer, I've taken ownership of the building. My brother had paid for it, after all." She shrugged nonchalantly.
Retta happily hugged the dragon plush with her free arm as the other one held onto her beanie. She watched the older Mishap and recognized what he was doing! This "danc" it seemed was what she and the purple skinned person was doing during the party!
No, she didn't like it very much. There was too much spinning involved and she didn't quite understand what the point was. The sheep-girl bleated softly, and shook her head. She didn't want to make Reid sad, but she didn't think it appropriate to say otherwise.

"Makes sense," Chao replied with a nod, vaguely wondering if Haze's employee was was anyone she knew. Nah, Gaia might sometimes feel bizarrely small but not that small.
At Lil' Ta's bleat Reid paused and tilted his head, looking back to her. His face fell slightly before he shrugged, he'd wanted to dance with someone else but it was Lil' Ta's choice.
He flopped onto his but and stretched his wings out, looking up to Lil' Ta, "wha' does Lil 'Ta like then?" he asked, genuinely curious and still restless. He wanted to do something but he'd rather it was something they both liked.

Haze could care less if Huni knew anyone in Gaia, but the Silarian woman was beginning to think that she should start collecting acquaintances. After all, who knew how much longer she would be staying in Gaia.
"Chao, what do you do here for entertainment?" she asked.
Retta cocked her head to the side, what did she like? Truth be told, most of her pleasures involved being read to, being shown things, and hoarding things. None of them entailed movement, and it seemed Reid prefered to be moving than remaining still.
Retta brightened, Reid could show her around! She didn't have to move, but Reid could bring her to the different areas of the 2nd floor! But the problem was how was she to tell him?
She began to reach out towards the rest of the area, her hands grabbing at the air while her tail twitched to and fro.

"Well... Gaia's a fairly diverse place. There's the theater and movies, restaurants, clubs, ect. Not to mention the HeadQuarters itself is huge and has plenty to do," Chao replied after a moment of thought.
Reid tilted his head and looked over his shoulder, looking for what Lil' Ta was trying to grab. Seeing nothing he looked back to her and cocked his head, "Lil' Ta... wan' go?" he asked, pointing down the hall.

"I see, Gaia's extremely different from Silar in so many ways, yet there are some similarities... Is there an arena of sorts here?" Haze asked. Like all Wyndres, Haze had a fondness for violence, though she pretends to be too civilized to enjoy anything so 'barbaric' when in fact she adores seeing two people maim each other.
Retta nodded in delight, Reid did understand!! She clapped her hands and wiggled her ears, giggling all the while.
