Stephanie was smiling at first when she had asked her question, but found herself frowning slightly when his answer was bad, and then smiling slightly when it was good. They had wordlessly gone into the building except for Margy making her normal squeaks and squeals, which were slightly annoying at first, but Stephanie loved the little ball of hyper, so she tried to ignore her own lack of patience. She then found herself once again drawn in by reality -mainly Soul stating that it might be a while, and then continuing their conversation about humans and animals- and a slightly embaraced nod. "Sorry about that, I have retarded hearing. A-And I tend to space out..." She said subconciously. She then realized what the conversation was about once again, and nodded happily. "I bet there are. Especially your being a hegdehog, it must be a kind of interesting experiance going into a ball and bouncing around." She then tilted her head slightly with a look of confusion, and put her index finger to her cheek and scratched her fur. "Hey, can you use a homing attack?"

"Ah, I see." She commented, almost a bit disapointed at Sonic's lack of ability in this world. But whatever, it was still Station Square. Going to the task at hand, she replied to Soul's earlier statements. "No worries. It's probably less of a hastle then to try and talk above the noise of crowds and stuff..." She said, almost in a mutter. "Dollar menu huh? That's fine..." Stephanie eyed the menu and found lots of fairly good looking items, when she came to the one she liked. "Yeah...I think I'm just gonna have a Mc Chicken sandwich.... You can order yours first though, since you have the cash." Her previous sentence was directed more towards Soul, so as not to try and confuse the teller. And took a slight sliding step to the right to allow Soul to order first.

Soul walked past Stephenie with a quick pleasantry and watched the last person in front of him move away from the register. "Lucky." He muttered, as the brown hedgehog made his way to it.

A seventeen year old girl looked down at him. She leaned over the register and asked, "Can I take your order?"

"I'm short, but not that short, you don't have to lean and show me the twins, I'm ordering anyway." He shot back. It was true, even with the apron, the volumptious teen's breasts were all but hanging out. Although, she had not realized and quickly stood straight. "Sorry." He muttered after words, looking away in slight annoyance. He met the type, and was just glad he wasn't floored right now. "Anyway, I'll have Four double cheeseburgers, Two McChickens, and Three drinks. That would be nine dollars on your dollar menu."

Still shakin up, the girl quickly pushed the buttons in. "Yessir. That would be eight Ninety one." Soul took out the nine dollars and handed her cash.

"Keep the change, I have no use for pennies." He added, walking over to the pick up counter - the other people we're long gone. "Fast food." He muttered, before leaning on the counter. The teen placed three empty soda cups on the counter, Soul grabbed one. "Machine's over there. Coke Products." He added, walking over to the machine and grabbing a Vault 'Berry Berry Blitz', a new flavor that had not been released in their old world, seeing as it was made by a aardvark in this.

Margy stared at Soul and the woman at the counter for a moment, before looking over as her hedgehog buddy headed in the direction of the soda. She stared for a moment longer--before what he said rang in her ears.
"COLA!!" she yelled out at the top of the lungs. "CAFFINE!!!"
Those two words were problem the worse thing Margy could every yell out--or possibly second worst. All the already hyperactive hamster needed was something that would make her even more hyper.
Squealing happily, she grabbed her cup from the cashier--without a thank you--and ran straight over to the soda machine--nearly slamming into Stephanie in the process.
"Caffine! Caffine!" she repeated, before putting a bit of ice into her cup and filling it up with Coke-a-cola. Grinning widely, the hyperactive hamster didn't seem to care if everyone in the restuarant was staring--she was too caught up in getting her caffinated drink.
Once her cup was filled up, she calmed down a bit and took a sip--only to twitch a bit a second later...

"She's Nineteen, I'm sure she can behave herself at my place well enough, or at least not break anything." Soul said, leaning back. Earlier, he had just been tired and a little whiny, but he had since woken up fully and adapted a much more laid back persona. "Besides, there's not much to break at my place. Hell, I'll probably get money thanks to the insurance." He said idly. Turning around, he saw his order had arrived, and snatched it up and brought it to a booth.

"Yes indeed. Burgers are food." Soul agreed, setting the tray down and taking his food it, before unwrapping it. "Lucky us. Check it out - Mcdonalds flame broiled thier burgers like Burger King did back at home. There is no Burger King here, though." He explained, taking a seat. "Probably the two were merged together at the creation of the two franchises of our world." He guessed, before forgetting all about it and delving into his burger.

"Nice." Stephanie said in reply to Margy's belch, adding a playful chuckle at the end. She was more than used to people burping and belching publicly, so it didn't seem to faze her. But when you had a sister who burped all the time because her boyfriend thought it was funny, to work members who could burp the entire alphabet, it wouldn't. She merley picked a McChicken out of the tray, thanked Soul for being so generous as to buy her a meal, and looked at the chicken-burger.
Stephanie snapped her finger slightly as she looked at her sandwich; she'd forgotten to order it plain. But it wasn't a big deal. With a simple shrug, she took off the bun of her sandwich, took off the toppings she could peal, and put the bun back on it's place. She smiled happily, then took a big bite of it, only to have the taste of mustard and ketchup on it. Though she paused for a second, getting used to the taste...she merley made an inward chuckle and continued eating, taking a sip of Vault every so often. But she was a fast eater. Only after a few moments it was gone.

"Mmmmmmm.." Stephanie put her inndex finger to her lip, looking at the ceiling in contemplation. "I'd say you geeet.....a nine." She gave her a smile as she heard Margy giggle. Then out of nowhere, Margy took out a pencil, and started drawing on a napkin. "Wow. I wish I could do that." She said with a blink, reffering to Margy's ability to get a writing utencil out of nowhere. "Oh man..." Stephanie said, her ears drooping heavily. "That reminds me....I don't have my sketchpad anymore...." Her lower lip pouted slightly, but she then just kinda shrugged it off. "Well....maybe if I ever get a job around this place, I'll be able to get a new one...."
