Bakura then realized he was also fairly close to a gothic cafe that he liked to hang out at but getting there quickly meant going past the Kame game shop. Grumbling to himself he decided he began to start walking quickly so that he'd be able to get by quickly because going any other route to the cafe from his current location meant atleast an extra half an hour.
((That's right dear little Baku-chan hangs out at gothic cafe's xp ))

After Yuugi left the room, Jou turned and looked at Malik. The question of what went on between him and Bakura last night had started to nag at him, but he couldn't think of the right way to ask about it.
"So..." Jou set down his glas of milk, feeling pretty full now, and looked at Malik. "How've things been for you lately?"Ciyana ((That's right dear little Baku-chan hangs out at gothic cafe's xp )) (( xd I can see him in one of those... sort of... well, I can see him getting pissed at some of the poser goths who think they are totally evil. If they think they know real darkness, they should try messing with Bakura... hehe...))

"No thanks Yuugi. I don't feel like eating right now really." He grabbed a glass and filled it with some water. He was actually more thirsty than hungry at the moment. He went back to his seat at the table and took a few sips from the glass. He set it down upon the table and leaned back in his chair.
His attention went to Jou when he asked him a question. "Ah... things are ok as of now. Nothing interesting happened really. Well maybe except the last two days. Heh..."

"Yeah, you're telling me..."
Jou folded his arms behind his head and looked out the window. He just couldn't for the life of him think of how to word this question! As he saw someone walking down the sidewalk, Jou turned his head towards Malik again.

For a second there, Malik had thought he saw Bakura walk by the shop outside. But he shrugged it off, thinking it was his eyes that were playing tricks on him. 'I must have been hallucinating a bit there...'
"It wasn't all bad." He chuckled a bit. "It feels good to be back. And not for evil plans this time, heh. How's everyone doing nowadays?"

Yuugi finished cleaning up, so he turned the water off. He then put on his clothes while he was still wet. He grabbed a towel and started to dry off his hair. He caught sight of himself in the mirror and looked to the boy looking back. It seemed slightly eerie just to be looking at himself. He turned away again after drying his hair. His mind was still on yesterday, he opened the door and headed back into the kitchen where the others were.

Jou shrugged. "Eh, not much has been going on. Everyone's been pretty busy- Anzu is taking alot of dance lessons now, Honda's been doing..." Jou raised and eyebrow and looked to be thinking hard, "well, he's been doing something... Ryou's been around, but I don't see him a lot. So, " he shrugged again, "like I said, not much has been going on."
After taking a quick look towards the kitchen door, Jou leaned forward a little bit and dropped his tone of voice. "I've actually been a little worried about Yuugi lately... he's been a bit down, ya know? And have you seen the spirit of his puzzle at all, since you've been here?"

Malik thought a bit trying to remember if he'd seen the pharaoh lately. "Hm... I don't think I have to tell you the truth. The only people I know that I've ran into were you two and Bakura." He took another sip from his glass. "He hasn't seem that down to me. But I've only been around him for only a few hours." He heard someone coming downstairs. Yuugi must've finished his shower already. Malik finished his glass of water and got up to put it in the sink.

"Well, I know Yuugi... and he seems like he's... not all there, like half his mind is thinking about something else." Jou rested his head in his hand. "I'm worried that something's up between him and the spirit of the puzzle, and I don't want to leave him alone here like that, but I do have to head home sooner or later..."

"So, while you're here, Malik, do you... think you could watch out for him for me? Just to make sure he's alright and everything. He's my best friend, and I don't want anything to upset him like that." He turned his head and looked at Malik, who was now standing by the sink.
"I know it sounds wierd, but could you do that for me?"

Yuugi stood behind the wall listining to them quietly. He looked down to his puzzle with lowered eyes. Finally he took a deep breath and then went into the kitchen.
"Done with my shower"
he said in the most cheerful tone he could bring up. He smiled and started to put the pretzals away that he had been eating eariler. He then grabbed the orange juice and folded the top.
"Jou you going home? You can stay here as long as you want."
he said before he put the juice back into the fridge.

Malik watched as Yuugi walked back into the kitchen. His eyes diverted back to Jounouchi. 'Did he hear our conversation? By the looks of it, he hadn't...' "Sure. I'll try my best. I still have to make it up to you guys for the last time I was in Japan." He answered, thinking Yuugi wouldn't know what they were talking about it. "Well, I'm going to take a walk around town. Haven't really had much time to look around since I've been here. Bye for now. And thanks Yuugi for letting me stay here." He walked out of the kitchen and out in front of the shop, closing the door behind him.

Jou jumped in surprise as Yuugi came in, and his face became a little pink-tinted. He hadn't wanted Yuugi to hear about how worried he was; and it'd felt a little weird asking Malik for that favor.
Still, he put on his best smile and shook his head a little. True, he didn't want to leave, and his dad was a pain in the arse, but... he couldn't leave the old man home alone like that for too long. -I have a responsibilty back there.-
"Thanks a lot Yuugi, but I gotta head back home. My... dad'll be worried about me if I stay away too long." -Yeah RIGHT.- Jou stood and walked over to Yuugi, putting his hand on Yuugi's head and ruffling his hair a little. "I'll see you around though, eh?" Jou turned to Malik and smiled at him as well, silently thanking him for accepting. "You too man, see ya later. And... thanks" He turned towards the kitchen door to leave, following in Malik's footsteps. He stopped for a minute before closing the door. "You... take care of yourself Yuugi-kun." he turned and gave Yuugi one last smile and then left the shop.
