MsDevin92 WalkingxDead I've never been hacked or scammed. =3 I'm not stupid enough to fall for the scams now, and perhaps I'm just lucky no one tried when I was a newbie Gaian? I'm afraid of getting hacked now though. It's obvious not to click random links unless you know where they go too, but lately people have been putting cookie grabbers in their MP shop (or so I heard) and that makes me worry. x_x; Lately, I've been getting 5 PMs a day trying to scam me...it's kinda getting annoying now. Cookie grabbers? All online data is stored in small files called "cookies", data like your Gaia pass. The program steals your cookies and the person with the program now has your password. :B 'S simple~
EDIT: ....WTF?

yes...I noticed that alot of scammers go for the ppl that look rich so that way they can get the good items! and something happened to me but I wouldn't call it a scam! this stupid guy wanted to hack into my account in town and he try to be smart by saying that he brought something good for me and that he wanted to go into my account and make me wear it so that when I log on I'll be shocked and happy... -PSH who's goin to fall for that!!- so of course I said no and he got mad and reported me by trying to say I HACKED HIM!! O.o I didn't but his report didn't go through cuz guess what his report about me was...lolz!!! IT'S TOO FUNNY...THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HE WROTE AS HIS REPORT...."I want you to freeze her account cuz she won't trust me" tell me can anyone get any more dumber than this??? rofl xp

No, thank goodness I've never been scammed/hacked.
To prevent cookie grabbers from getting you, I suggest making two mules. One to do anything in the marketplace, and one to hold all your stuff. Don't do ANYTHING with the one that holds your stuff. I wouldn't even log in on it after browsing around gaia until you clear your cache and run a spyware/virus scan. That way even if you/your marketplace mule are hacked your stuff is still safe. Just don't use the same passwords for them, and don't keep more money on your marketplace mule or your main account than you can afford to lose. You can also download something called Noscript for firefox. (I'm also really really paranoid right now because of the cookie grabbers. ninja )

Xyloid No.
Because I'm smart.

Out of curiosity, has Gaia ever had an issue with keyloggers?
