Offroad quickly got to his feet, "Wait a nanosec! I dont think so, your not going out there by yourself human." he said. He turned,
"Milestone, your in charge of watching Nicki while we're here." he said.

Nicki blinked, then turned.
"Wait, what?! I dont need to be watched!"
she said. Livewire stepped outside, looking back in.
"Dont think of it as being watched, think of it as being teamed up."
he said with a smile. Nicki crossed her arms,
"I'm not helpless..."
she muttered.

Offroad nodded, "Exactly, your being teamed up with Milestone. Now lets go." he said as he stepped off the ship, looking around at the barren wasteland.

"Milestone" smiles down to Nicki and points to his head. "I'm already partnered with one humanoid organic, another temporary partner will be just fine. Shall we go figure this thing out?"

Nicki looked up at Milestone and nodded,
"Right, lets go."
she said, smiling a little. She walked down, stepping outside as Livewire looked around. The air was cold and bitter, with few things growing on the ground around.
"Geez...this place is a tundra Nicki?"
Livewire asked. She nodded,
"Yep."

Offroad looked over, "Well, theres a huge group of those things over that way. Lets head in that direction." he said before walking.

As they walk, he holds his left arm in front of him and activates his Energon Solidifier. A glowing haze spreads in front of him, and in a few seconds it defines itself and solidifies into a glowing shield.
"Just in case."
The shield is a tall riot-style body shield, that has taken all the Energon in his solidifier's storage capacitors to produce.

"Wow, thats pretty cool."
Nicki said as she looked at the shield. Livewire smiled a little before following Offroad.

"Good thinking." Offroad said to Milestone as he continued walking, sliding down a steep hill and getting closer to the black 'transformers'.

"It comes in handy, but it does have some distinct drawbacks. It's hard to be stealthy when all your weaponry glows in the dark."

Nicki said as she observed the shield a little more. Livewire glanced back as he slid down the hill behind Offroad.
"Your a researcher, right Milestone? Stealth doesn't seem like something a researcher should be to bothered with."
he said.

"Knock it off with the chit-chat!" Offroad said as they approached the black transformers. They stood perfectly still, hundreds of them. There eyes were unlit, and they appeared to be sleeping.

"Geez, what a grouch..."
Nicki muttered as she cautiously slid down the hill after Livewire and Offroad.
Rearbrake smiled,
"Good, sector A and D is back up...maybe we can get the communications system back up in time."
he said. He looked up from where he sat on the ground, glancing at the dark cloud on the horizon. He shook his head slightly, pushing it from his mind.
"I need to concentrate. The Decepticons could attack at any moment..."
he said to himself.

His optic shield once again slides back down to cover his eyes, and his faceplate retreats completely as he grins wryly to the side and says quietly to Nicki, "It depends entirely on what, exactly, they send me to research."
