Five turns to the right and three to the left. The wolf continued to walk in silence, his sharpened claws clicking against the wooden floors of the halls, only silencing themselves when he took steps across carpet. He finally stopped before the entrance to the portal room. It's massive metal doors towering several feet above thier heads seem to loom over them. He sat back on his haunches, as if he were waiting for one of them to heave open the doors.

Yamato sat down in one of the chairs, it was tricky getting his shortsword to fit into the chair with out him having to remove it. He never took it off, with the exception of sleep and bathing, sometimes not even then. He knew better than to trust any situation fully, you never know what could happen. "So, why did you form this group?" he asked her. He was curious.

"Forget maze. This place is a full-blown labyrinth," she murmured to herself as she followed the wolf around every single bend.
Forte stared up at the gigantic frame, trying to calculate in her head exactly what one of these would weigh alone. Well. Now or never. She rubbed her hands together and placed them firmly about the handle. "Thank you for your help," she said with a nod to Saun just before heaving open with an audible creak.

She smiled lightly, leaning a little in her chair to feel more comfortable and relaxed.
"To be in all honesty, I formed it mainly out of boredem. Being cooped up in one of those odd library halls was beggining to get tiring. And retirment at my age was far from reasonable. So this idea hit me late one night while perusing through some of the books. I think it is a rather nice orgonization. We are here to help anyone."

"I'd have to thank your boredom. If it weren't for this, I'd be on the street. I have no REAL education, fighting is all I know, this is where I think I belong now, all thanks to you." Yamato told her, smiling with gratitude.

The wolf yawned his reply to Forte out. As soon as the door was heaved open enough for him to slip through, he took the oppourtunity to do so. His claws sounding almost defeaning as it was revealed that on the other side of these doors, the floor as well was steel. The Portal room to say the least was fairly large...alright it was actually enourmous. How this room even fit in the building was a wonder in itself. The lining spehres of the walls continously flickered through images of different places, from mountains to fields, from tropical islands to the coldest looking place on earth. It was all being run through in a continous stream. Saun turned off to the right, where tucked away in this massive realm lined wall was a tiny window with a hole in it to slip things through. The storage room.

"Your welcome and I thank you for telling me so. That is another purpose of this place, people such as your self and Stalker came here for those reasons."
She bowed her head in gratitude before reincling it back against the chair's back.

((I will be in NYC from tomorrow until I think Saturday. There may or may not be wireless where I'm staying, but just in case not, here's a heads up))
Forte followed Saun once more, though it was harder not to get lost just looking at all the windows to the other realms. She skidded to a quick stop just before running straight into the wolf. "Storage I assume? Right. Climbing gear..." This wasn't going to be strange at all, she thought as she slipped through the entrance.
"Geh." Oh. Good. Bungee cords, caribeeners, hooks, and the like plainly stacked in view. She grabbed what she deemed necessary and tossed a few things to Captain Knox before returning. "Geh," she repeated.
"Alright. To the tree."

"There is someone else here for that reason as well? I have been a slodier of some sort since I was 10, I have lots of experience. That also gave me..." He looked at his hand and continued, "memoirs as well. But that is in the past, so what kind of work is there for a group of mercs around here? A lot of people depend on their army or their guards, who primarily calls you?" He asked, hoping not to be too intrusive.

Saun stood once more, making his claw-clicking way to one of the portals, third one from the right. He tapped it with the end of his muzzle, and quickly redrew it as the image spazzed and tiwtched to morph into the picture of the bas of a tree, with a small tiny old lady who looked to be well over ninty years old in appearance. rushing frantically about the place. The wolf then stepped back slightly, wagging his tail from side to side before stepping right through the portal.

"It is because of the reason that you just stated the most of our jobs come from common people around the place. Searching for missing children, offering them traveling protection, and even sometimes cleaning houses. Atleast we got one request like that one in the past. The people with armies though, usually hire us for the sake of assassinations and whatnot.
She placed her hands before her, pauding in her talking for a moment to make sure he understood what she had just said.

"Ah, the armies use us to do the jobs too.....dangerous for a soldier. People need the help we offer, I suppose. Having more than one person to turn to gives them comfort, it would me, I know that." Yamato said, nodding his head lightly, his eyes closed. He placed his hand on his chin, as he always did when he was processing something in his mind.:

"Yes, That would ba another reason I formed this merry band of adrenaline junkies I am afraid. It helps just about everyone out, if you think about it."
She watched him carefully as he thought, before moving her view off twaords the books lining her walls and then down to the fireplace, that as the current moment was not burning nay logs.
