Hae-Den Ferric's heart nearly skipped a beat as the booming voice of the instructor blares through the corridors of the temple and shocks his quiet mind from its meditations.
A call to arms it seems the shock of it reminded Hae-Den of the many times his father was called to service through the com. module back home on Iridonia.
Such a sour thought as that has no place in my mind he thought as he rose quickly to his feet, observing the absence of the mysterious man.
Hae-den did not in fact move to the training center, nor to the landing pad, he had an hour before departure, and with only a portion of that hour he intended to gather his belongings for what ever lay ahead.
With much time to spare he arranged and packed his rations, his small viles of bacta, his vibro-blade and his spare sparring uniform. He anticipated field work and thus prepared for exactly that. rose to his feet carrying his pack filled with his equipment and of course the parts to his light-saber. Hae-Den swiftly made his way to the landing pad ready for what ever lay ahead.
----------
Hae-den made it to the loading dock just in time to hear the instructor's brief, however chilling it was to whitness the needless death of the trooper, he did get the sense of the serious nature his instructor held. Not untill now did it strike Hae-den that he is with people very different from himself, he was with the Sith.
He quickly shook himself from this thought at as he realized exactly where they were going.
Battle. he thought as he watched the troopers in arms, ready to go, and the instructor herself had a sense of tension to her, not quite fear but the same mixed sense of dread and excitement his father radiated every time the com. module rang.
It would not be the first time Hae-Den was caught in war, and it is not as if he will go into it untrained. He knows the nature of battle, his father was a head general of his nations army. He taught Hae-Den nearly everything he knew.
Hae-den quietly strode up to the instructor and took a crystal from her hand, he made his choice with a relaxed intuition; something he had never done when making a crucial decision. It had seemed to him to always use cunning, always plan and anticipate the pieces falling in place. however something spoke to him to chose without it, to chose nearly blindly.
He quickly pocketed the small crystal and made his way onto the ship. clearing his thoughts and preparing his mind for the events to come.
