Vice chuckled slight as he secured the last chain to Reeve. "It seems they do not trust me still. Why are living creatures so untrusting?" He asked, looking down at his son. It was becoming evident that, perhaps, Vice was not in his right mind. "I mean, I fought with that dragon-kin because he would not leave me alone and was fully prepared to use force. He even drew his blade before I attacked, so it's not like I attacked him out of the blue." Turning from Reeve, Vice walked over to a shelf filled with tools and began to search for something. "And that Ziven girl, I didn't even do anything to her! But she still looks a me like I am some evil creature. I don't understand them..." Finally Vice seemed to find what he was looking for, a small black box filled with a large paint brush and several small cases of black paint. Walking back to Reeve, he took a blade and cut off the man's shirt. Vice then put his hand on Reeve's chest and began to paint the symbol that woul return Reeve's soul.

Following after them, his words were confusing, clearly talking to himself. She kept her distance, not wanting to get in the way though she did as she said she would, and that was to remain with Reeve, no matter what. Blue eyes looked upon the man, pleading for this to go well.

By the time he was done painting the symbol he was almost completely out of paint. The symbol itself was so intricate that it seemed to be more like a work of art than a magik spell. Another off thing about it was that the middle section of the symbol was actually painted on the top of his hand, making the symbol incomplete as long as his hand was not positioned properly. "Well, thats done..." Vice said as he pulled his hand away and turned, looking at one of the tanks. The water was an odd color and was too murky to see through, but the shape of a small figure could be seen inside of it. "I wonder how this will go, Zero. I mean, in theory this should work... but I've never sucessfully done it before to an already living specimen." There was silence for a moment while he looked at the tank. Suddenly he nodded his head and turned to Reeve again. "I suppose your right, we won't know untill we try. And if I get it wrong I can always try and re-create him. Shouldn't be too hard."
Aligning his hand back to the symbol, Vice brought his other hand to his face and began to speak so softly that no one in the room would possibly be able to hear him. Then the center of the symbol, the part on his hand, began to glow a dull silver color. Very slowly the glow began to flow to the other parts of they symbol... The spell was begining.

Listening to him, her face went pale with fear. This man was tinkering with Reeve's life! From the way he had spoken before, his confidence in his actions were enough to convince her that this was something he had done before. Moving closer, she was fully intending on protesting but in the time she took to ponder his words, it was already too late, he had already cast the spell. Worry spread over her face as she felt more helpless than before. But now a new emotion set in; guilt.

It took several minutes for the glow to reach the outter circle, but once it did there was almost an immediate reaction... not one that would be expected though. Reeve began to struggle, trying to thrash around and escape. His eyes looked around, still lacking in any sort of warmth. Since he was still chained down his struggles were doing nothing but annoying Vice. His face spread in a smile as he felt all the souls within him try to force themselfs out as his concentrtion was focused on something else. He hadn't had this much excitement since he was first trapped here! Slowly he could feel a soul leaving his body through his hand, the hard thing was figuring out if it was the right soul. As the soul left his body, Vices hand began to age at a very quick rate, looking like that of an 90 year old man's hand in the mattr of seconds. Inside his mind, Vice hoped that he would never have to do this again.

A Name of Power Listening to him, her face went pale with fear. Skyeheart tensed. Vice seemed to be playing with fire. He had suspected this was the first time he let a soul go, but he had expected that Vice had a probable view of the outcome. It was out of his hands now, he couldn't even assist with the transfer now that it was halfway done. All he could do was put a reassuring claw over Ziven's shoulder, though he felt just as guilty as she did.

Having focused on Reeve so much, she was surprised to feel Skye's touch. Gasping softly, she turned toward him sharply, a stern look on her face for a moment before her expression softened a bit before looking sorrowful again. A moment later, she returned her attention to Reeve.

Gage arrived at the golden temple or tower... Whatever you wish to call it... He grinned wide, removed the mask, and his mind reading the energy signatures in the tower... He launched off the ground using pure physical power to propel himself to the floor which the four, soon to be three in a way, where located above him... Where he had taken off there was a deep crater... He launched higher and higher...

Skyeheart abruptly turned his head. A new presence...I felt this one before with Ziven outside. Bad timing, chances were that Gage would disrupt the ceremony even unintentionaly.

Nothing would break her attention, not even the knowledge of another presence, not even Gage. Subconsciously seeking back up and protection, she stepped closer to Skye, though her eyes did not move from Reeve.

Finally Vice moved away, the spell having been completed. Looked at the hand he had used to channel the soul and saw nothing but bone connected to a living body. "Well thats strange, I didn't expect to actually lose my hand while doing that... Oh well." He said with a shrug. Despite the fact that his new ailment looked very painful he didn't seem bothered by it in the least. Sensing quick movement in the room, Vice laughed slightly. "Don't worry about the person who approaches, he's just like his teacher... a puppy dog." He smiled slightly and looked at Reeve. "Hey boy, wake up..." He said, looking at the now sleeping man. His voice was so quiet that it would be a strain for anyone to hear. "Come on now... wake up..." Vice said again, just barely louder than he had the first time. Suddenly he brought his good fist into the air and brought it down on Reeve's stomach. "I said wake up!"
The impact made Reeve awaken almost instantly. His entire body tensed and he began to cough up small amounts of blood. "What the hell is wrong with you?" He asked, looking at his father with two ice-blue eyes.

Watching, she felt her breath catch in her chest when he tried to wake him. When Vice hit Reeve, she gasped in shock and upset that he had done such a thing. She started toward the pair, fully intending to go to Reeve's side. "Reeve .." she called out with as much of a voice as she could manage in that moment.

"Ziven?" Reeve asked, lifting his head up to look at her. The idea that she was here confused him, hadn't he told her to leave once she got Skyeheart? Trying to lift himself to meet her, he realized that he was chained to the table. "What's going on? Where the hell am I?"
With a slight nod Vice stepped away from the two of them and went back to the large tanks. He gazed into them with a tilted head. "I suppose I did it, Zero. I lost my hand though." He said with a laugh, lifting his ar up as if to show the creature in the cage his boney hand. "And I think Gage is coming to kill those two... so it should be a rather nice show. Would you like to come out and watch?" He paused for a second, trying to give the creature inside a chance to answer. There was no sound, but Vice shrugged as if he had heard something. "Very well, perhaps another time."

Reaching Reeve's side, she smiled kindly and touched his face with one hand. As she spoke again, her other hand passed over one of the chains that was holding him, casting a spell to unlock it, leaving it to Reeve on what he would do with one hand free. "You were .. killed .. again .." she began awkwardly, watching him with a calm expression, clearly as concerned for the outcome of this an the information she was sharing with him as well as relieved that he seemed to be alright again. "The Dragon Man said he could help you, I trusted him. That is why we had not left yet. Though leaving would also be a bit of a challenge for Skye and I, we do not know how to create the opening to return." she said softly, looking to Reeve with a smile.

Using his newly freed hand Reeve unlatched the chain that held his other hand. "Died?" He asked, moving his hand slightly. For some reason his body felt strange. When she mentioned how his father helped them, he realized what had happened. All at once he could feel the process of his soul being ripped from his body. All the pain it bore him, yet at the same time the lack of feeling it force into him. "He made me a source for his power..." Gently he touched Ziven's arm, though he did not look at her. Suddenly her jerked his legs, breaking the chains that held them down, and sat up. The wings he had on his back were limp, barely moving at all. Deep inside his mind he wanted nothing more than to kill his father; but there were others here. He did not want any harm to come to them. "Come... we will go now." He said as he pushed himself off the table and onto the ground. At first he stumbled, as if his legs weren't used to walking, but quickly regained his balance. He looked at Ziven finally, this time with a warm smile. There was a strange feeling now that he had not fealt since Vice found him; he felt weak. But, perhaps that meant that he could live his life peacefully now.
Vice said nothing to Reeve as he gazed into the tank. "It seems he is fleeing from us, Zero. How pathetic. We thought that he was taught better than that."
