Ok. I am a guy, get that out of the way...I first got into johnny when i realized men can be sexy...then I got into theatre and realized he is the best actor ever....xDD

i got hooked when i saw him in pirates of the caribbean: the curse of the black pearl! i was floored by his performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As sad as this might sounds I never really gave Johnny much notice. *gets hit by rabid fans* gonk
Orlando was my first movie star obsession. I mean I had seen a few of Johnny's movies but never really gave it much notice. I think POTC 2 really opened my eyes. Then after that I watched his movies again and really focused on him and his amazing acting and hotness. ^^

The first Johnny Depp movie I saw that I can remember was Finding Neverland. My mom had heard good things about it, and bought it on DVD. So I watched it, and fell in love with the movie (not Johnny crying ). I was 10 or so when I saw it, and had too many crushes on the jerky boys in my school anyways. xp


Then this summer, I heard that a second POTC movie was coming out. I had never seen the first one, but really wanted to see the second. Luckily, my best friend who lives down the street from me had it, and I watched it. I absoulutley fell in LOVE with his carracter Jack Sparrow! xd heart heart

Then a little while later, when I had started to have a little crush on Jack Sparrow, my friend let me watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was good, but I didn't love it. neutral

Then my mom went to Wal-Mart and bought that on DVD. While we were in the video section, I noticed Edward Scissorhands on the rack. I had seen it a while ago at my friends house, but hadn't seen it in a while, so I also bought that too. Then I looked down and there was Corpse Bride. I had never seen it, so I bought that too. And then, since my mom hadn't seen POTC, we bought that too. biggrin

The second I got home, I started watching one Johnny Depp movie after another. I was hooked. heart

Now, here I am today, a poster of Jack with tons of JD pics all around it on my wall above my desk, and pictures of him all over all my binders. I don't care if people make fun of me for having a HUGE obsession over him, because he's my passion. Also, I recently saw Benny and Joon. My friend got it for her birthday, and I ADORE Sam. heart

I'm hoping to some day soon see Secret Window, Sleepy Hollow, From Hell, Ed Wood, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Cry Baby, and A Nightmare on Elm Street. heart

Anyway i'm going to be honest and admit that it was pirates that put me onto him... and sure i thought he was cool and whatever... but nothin spesh ya know talk2hand So then the years went by and i was like oh whatever... meh. I am ashamed to admit that my dad bought the secret window and i didnt even bother to watch it! redface Then my cousins birthday came around this year and we went and saw pirates 2 and well that started it all... i was like "Hmmm? this Depp person looks kinda kewl... i wonder whet else he's in." So i went on imdb and looked him up and found that he was in HEAPS of movies, i borrowed out a couple (Edward Scissorhands and What's Eating Gilbert Grape?) And now i'm hooked... i've been frantically searching for every one of his films i can get my hands on... he is the best! heart

So... at my current count i have seen 18 of his movies... with more to come! I've ordered them in and am gonna buy them so yeah... and i DID end up whatching secret window just with none of the confusion one of my friends experienced becuase my dad had already explained the twist... amazingly despite this i still loved it and it is one of my favourites.
