My view on a what makes a guy an man is he HAS to be respectful.
For example back in the early 90's men were expected to treat a woman with respect. (Despite the political disadvantages to being a woman.)
In a relationship a guy shouldn't push the idea sex
on a poor girl that isn't ready. If a man touches a woman in such a way that makes her uncomfortable and she
speaks against it, he should just drop it right there.
Personally I agree with what you're saying about the idea of being gentle. Believe it or not, its more of a turn on for most women if you're
just a kind person. Personally I'd rather be with a man who could take his jacket off and put it on a puddle for an elderly person.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that it takes a little respect to make a man. Some other things that make a "man"
in my personal opinion are..he has to have a sense of humor, life is just easier when people can laugh. He doesn't necessarily have to be the
best looking guy, but he has to be well groomed. I also believe that he
should be very openminded and willing to accept things.
Being a smart one is a very important quality too. I think if "men"
in general just learned to accept things instead of make everything a
compition the initial seed of hatred wouldn't be in the world at all.
(Keep in mind for that last part, I wasn't trying to stereo type or generalize
male behavior, I was simply expressing my opinion.)
