Even so... That's a little harsh. I'd just send him on a journey through the barrier of Hell. It's open now, anyway. "I just wish to know exactly what happened. Well, not exactly... don't go into full detail... but you know what I mean."

"Death of innocence is an evil crime... and one that deserves the pain you received... Count yourself lucky that I'm not one of the ones you killed." He looked to the cave. "However... there is one here whom you might recognise..."

Hopefully, Violet wouldn't go too far. He didn't want to see anyone die today, not even this man. He seemed like he might have healed from his former self a bit, even if not completely. Where's Leila? I thought she wanted to see him...

Leila chased after Vanessa when she had left the cave, but stopped at the entrance when she saw the three figures some distance away, one of them being the man....she bit her lip, not knowing what to do. She looked back into the cave, about to retreat, but she would look like a coward now in front of them. She took a deep breath, and slowly headed towards them. No mistaking...it was her killer alright, but he probably didn't even recognize her in this form.
"You..." she managed as she finally got up to him. Her hands were shaking and she didn't know whether to be angry or cry. The former soon took over, her hand raising and slapping him across the face. "You b*****d!" she screamed, the look on her face completely changing from what the others had seen. "You're the reason! You're the cause of all this!" She hit him again and again, each hit harder and more vicious than the previous. Small claws had appeared at the end of her fingers in her state of fury, leaving long red wounds on his face.
Grabbing him by the shirt, she pulled him away from the others, holding him up in the air despite him being a lot larger than she was. "Maybe I should gouge your eyes out, you f---er." Her fingers poised closely to his right eye as she grinned, her canines pointier than normal. Her pupils haad also contracted to mere thin lines, the intense blue of her eyes making her appearance a bit scarier.
Her claws went in, resulting in a sickening wet sound like a popped grape and clear fluid mixed with blood running down her hand. His scream....it was pleasing to her, intoxicating. She wanted more, and she would stop at nothing to get it. That was when the maniacal chuckle rolled out of her mouth. "You know, I don't think you need the other eye either..." Grin widening, brows furrowing even more, she was looking more like the demon she really was, her fingers moving towards the other eye.

Dream sighed. His job was to save those who deserved it, and that man didn't seem to fit the requirement. But saving people didn't only mean saving lives... it meant saving their souls. Leila was a demon, but she didn't like her position until this moment, and he didn't think it would be a great idea to let her anger bring her all the way into the depths of Hell. The man could suffer his fate... but Leila was hurting herself in the proccess. She deserved better.

Then again... his own opinions weren't the most important things in life. He had to respect hers as well. Well... he supposed that he could just leave them be for the time, see what happens.

"True... but I don't plan on going to Hell anytime soon. I've got a special appointment with a different otherworld. Anyway, I do care. I just have no idea what to do..." He walked to Leila. "Give the man a break for a minute. Let us hear what he says, now that he saw you." He shot a burst of healing magic at the man, so that his life-threatening wounds were healed.

He remained perfectly calm, talking in a light voice. "I'm not doing this for him... I'm doing it for you. I understand how you feel, but if you kill him, it will be your downfall, not his." He looked straight into her eyes, hoping she would break free of her spontanious, yet understandable anger. He spoke again, trying to get her to see what he said was true. "Does that make sense?"

Vanessa's walls were thin, and her house not far from the beach, so she could barely what everyone was saying by going out to the front yard and listening closely. She could tell Leila would probably get into trouble. And being one of her friends, Vanessa needed to save her. She sprinted down to the beach, not caring about the sweat trickling down her face. She grabbed Leila's arm, took out the rock, and thought as hard as she could about what had happened before... The box washed up on shore, the cave, and everything else that had happened with Leila, Dream, Violet, and herself, even how Leila met the three.
"Listen... If that man didn't do what he did to you, do you think all this would've happened?" Vanessa said, breathing heavily, and pointing to the rock in her hand. "What would have happened if the man didn't do what he did to you? You'd be back at home, doing nothing, sitting... Alone... Like me..." Vanessa said. "I'm not saying that... That you have to exactly LOVE him, but you should be a little greatful that he made you get a few new... Friends. Now, if you go into this... Spaz attack, you might lose us." Vanessa smiled at Leila.
