((OOC:// Gomen, Kana-chan... ^^ wink )Kai had to shake his head - again! - at the futility of the slightly younger girl's actions. He'd already spotted her; why try to hide?
...especially if it caused her to lose her footing.
Turning quickly on his heel, the crimson-eyed teen half-jogged over to the tree from which the sound of leaves being disturbed emanated. He stood beneath the wide-reaching branches, arms slightly outstretched, ready to catch his sibling.
That girl... he thought, a hint of wistful remembrance flickering in his eyes for the briefest moment, she always was a bit clumsy at times... It was apparent to the phoenix blader that Miki hadn't quite outgrown that particular phase. ------------------------------ When the black-garbed figure crossed their path, and then stopped suddenly in front of her, Kei stopped short, too. The brunette was a bit surprised at the sudden intrusion, and more than a little curious. "Uh, Kei?" Nia put in. Apparently, she'd seen the figure, too; so had everyone else. "Do you know her?" Hiromi asked, one eyebrow arced upward, partly questioning, partly concerned. Kei shook her head. "I've no idea who she is," she replied, at the same time reaching for something in her bag. Needless to say, it was her beyblade and launcher that she brought out; the amethyst-eyed teen wasn't too keen on leaving home without her blading equipment, now that she was officially part of a world-championship blading team. "What's the big idea?" Ruri asked, pouting. "I thought we were going to dinner or somethin'..." Kei exhaled heavily; it was when Ruri acted like that that she began to get annoying. One would think that, as a teen, one would be more... patient when it came to occasional outings; after all, some things could never be accounted for.
Such as this one.
"All right," the dark-haired teen began, raising her launcher in response to the other girl's challenge, "you want a match, you're getting one. But not here - " she jerked her head in the vague direction of - "the park. That way, no one is in danger of getting bonked in the head by stray blades."

A young girl closed her eyes as she continue to fall but then blinked when she notice a two-toned blunette boy, staring at her with a bored expression. She blushed and smiled sheepishly. then she whispered, her violet eyes looking down "Hi big brother"

i am beginning to think you guys want to see Diana already so i guess i will try and use her now
the black-haired girl fleeted and upwards and disappeared, leaving the girls standing with amazed eyes. And there, towards the park, there before the viewing rails ( i dont know what it is called but remember in v-force where Kai went when he reunited with Tyson when Tyson battles with a Psychick member for the 1st time in the woods from the park? the one with the telescope thats it)was a red beystadium, and the black-clothed girl was seen without her helmet. She had an ice-cold glare, but her blood-red eyes was filled with fire. Her black hair was flowing through the breeze as she held her launcher and beyblade tightly in her hands.
ok i edited for you onee-chan..

"Kei, wait up!" Hiromi called as she, Ruri, and Nia lagged behind. Unfortunately for the three of them, their dark-haired companion seemed not to hear as she quickly tucked her blade and launcher back in the holder she'd had custom-made a few months earlier - and without which she never left the house after she recieved it - and gave chase.
She was curious, that much was true; of all bladers, why would that strange girl pick her as an opponent in a battle outside of the stadium? And why did it have to be now when I'm out with friends?! she thought, more than a little irritated.
Before she knew it, they had passed the park and where now at the observation platform overlooking the bay. Was it even possible to have run that far in as short a time as it had seemed for them to get there? Well, no matter, as long as -"There you are!" Ruri exclaimed, coming to stop barely 5 feet away from where Kei stood. "So... this place again, huh?" Hiromi commented, recognizing the location; she'd met Takao and the others here often enough; it seemed like their third meeting place, after the BBA headquarters and the park. Still, Kei paid her companions no mind. Challenge or no, she had to be ready for this one, the girl who stood across from her before the red beystadium. ------------------------------ For what seemed the umpteenth time that day, Kai sighed, hoping it was inaudible enough for the girl in his arms not to take notice.
"Hello yourself, Miki," he muttered, allowing a small smile to grace his lips as he set his sister down. "I thought for sure someone would be escorting you..." he mused, remembering what that Sayka girl had told hiim earlier.
He didn't allow himself to say it, but the question was there: What are you doing here, Miki?

Miki just gave another shy smile. "Well, i did have one though but i sorta wanted to go outside since Diana went out on her motor bike to do some things. Maria-san still wasnt there, so i decided to walk around to stretch abit until i saw you going here. I wanted to surprise you so thats why i..climbed a tree.." she finished, playing with both her forefingers, slightly emmbarassed since Kai saved her from falling.

"Hmm..." was Kai's noncomittant reply. As his hands were now free, he walked back to where he'd left his bag and retrieved it, slinging the strap over his shoulder as he returned to Miki.
"So... when did you get here?" the pale-skinned teen asked, merely as a course of action than anything else.

"just last week" Miki replied "Some members of the BBA fetched me from another BBA office to escort me here safely, I should thank Mr. Dickenson when i get back to the Hotel" she smiled then looked away with a uneasy look towards the ground. "i wonder if he knows...maybe Maria-san already told him...but then again...im not sure..".

A vein pooped in Maria's head hearing the news. Miki had already landed and went out. She then calmly says her good byes. She then punched the wall and made a crack. She then made her self calm down. She then went out. She though of a place where she might go and thought she might go to Kai.
She saw them and watched in the shadows. She was better and an expert in being hidden. She just sat there and watched the siblings. She forgave the girl now seeing Kai and she was in her sight now.

"Big brother probably knows about it. but i dont know, he is good at keeping secrets and not showing that he knows. But if he doesnt know, should i tell him? But he might get worried about me and wont allow me to beyblade anymore because of my condition. I wish i wasnt tricked to leave him.." Miki pondered in her mind as she remembered a faint memory in her mind.
FLASHBACK A young 8 yr. old, blue-haired girl held tightly to an older man with long gray hair as she silently walked to a black limo where a bodyguard opened the door for them, bowing curtly. "Grandfather, which school will i be going?" she looked up to him with curious violet eyes. The old man smiled at her kneeled, placing his right hand on top of her head "It is a very special school, Miki, a place where young special people like you are being help to harness the power within you and use it for a special purpose" he kindly explained. "Oh," she answered. then her head jerked up and she said "But when will I come and see Big brother? You promised i will come back after i finish coming to your school, Grandfather, you promised you will allow me to come back here and play with Big brother again. you remember dont you?" her tiny hands clutching the soft, black material of his long cloak. He gently smiled and held the small girl who was hugging his stomach "dont worry Miki, you will see Kai again, very soon" he reassuredly guided her to the car and drove off with Miki looking back at the mansion with sad eyes.
END FLASHBACK
"i wonder if big brother knew from all this time what happened to me after i left with him.." she silently thought, not noticing that her brother was already getting perturbed by her long silence.

"'Just' last week?" Kai raised an eyebrow at his sibling inquisitively. It had been an entire week and they'd run into each other only now?!
The slate-haired teen considered that Miki could have been avoiding him, trying to hide... something. But what was there to hide? They were brother and sister - twins, for heaven's sake!
Could it have something to do with... that incident? Kai thought, the pupils of his eyes, like dark stones in blood-red pools sinking, constricted at the memory...
>><<>><<>><<>><<
It was mid-afternoon, sometime in fall. Outside, the deciduous trees were already beginning to shed their leaves, flakes of gold, brown and orange fluttering in the phantom breeze.
9-year-old Kai had been counting the days... and then the weeks... and then the months. It was now almost a year - just a week and a few days left - since Miki had been shipped off to that 'school', or so Voltaire claimed. There had been phonecalls, yes, but they'd been rare and often short; the twins had been barely able to catch up on each other's lives.
"Kai!" the slate-haired child's guardian's deep voice boomed through the main corridor. "Your tutor has been waiting for 15 minutes now; don't keep him waiting!"
The small child sighed, blowing unruly strands of hair out of his eyes, transferring the three notebooks he carried onto his other arm and went on his way, watching the dancing leaves as he passed the large picture window. Soon, he was in the small study assigned to him when his tutor came over. Whereas Miki had gone somewhere else for her schooling - or whatever it was Voltaire had in store for the girl - Kai had stayed in the manor; Mr. Yakov, the tutor, came over four times a week.
Before sitting down at the table, Kai turned to his gray-haired elder. "Grandfather," he began, his child's voice already laced with a slight hardness, a faint emotionlessness. "When is Miki coming home? Have you forgotten your promise so soon?"
Yakov looked up from his own notebook, pushing his pince-nez higher up on his thin nose. "The boy is right to inquire, sir; that he misses his sister is highly apparent, for each lesson we have, he is always wondering after her..." he commented, his alto voice rumbling from his throat, his Russian accent only slightly noticeable. "I myself would like to meet this... Miki. Perhaps, if she is as bright as her brother, the children can have their lessons together. Separation at such a young age -" here he sighed - "it can be taxing to the mind, sir."
Throughout this, Voltaire had remained calm, but young Kai could see the pinpoints of light flashing in his eyes, beacons on a dark sea, foreshadowing the storm and waves. He nearly cringed in anticipation of the reprimand he felt was coming, but steeled himself and simply set his notebooks and pencil down, and then sat on the simple cushioned chair that was his own. He was surprised, then, that when his grandfather spoke, it was in a casual tone, devoid of any ill will.
"True enough..." Voltaire commented, mostly to himself, it seemed. "A visit can be arranged during the winter holidays, perhaps -" addressed mostly to Kai - "should the school board permit; it is rare that the students go home for their holidays are short..."
Staring hard at the old man's face, Kai could read the silent message plain as day: "Behave if you know what's good for you, boy..."
And so it was that, silent and a little saddened, Kai turned away, turned his attention to the small pile of books Yakov now placed in front of him, and tried his hardest to push thoughts of Miki to the back of his mind, where they couldn't cause trouble.
He found that he couldn't, and the crimson-eyed boy had a hard time concentrating on his lessons that day.
>><<>><<>><<>><<
Kai blinked once, and the memory went scurrying away, back to the dark room where where it had crawled forth, causing him to lose concentration for even a little while.
He glanced down slightly, read the worry written on Miki's face. And then what she'd said earlier - that she was staying in a hotel - registered, and he frowned.
"I trust you didn't get my last letter, then..." he remarked, arms crossed over his chest, his signature pose. "Because if you had, you would have known I rented an apartment next to mine, in your name, of course. That way you'd have a place to stay if - when you came here. It certainly wouldn't do for the siblings to share an apartment, regardless of how close they were.
((OOC://Kana-chan, what of Diana's challenge to Kei? What happened to that one? Just curious... ))

nya nyah..i forgot...sowee onee-chan..but excuse me if i stink at battle scenes...im not good at it..but i will try
Miki's eyes started to show panic and fear. "Oh no! i never recieved any letter, he might get suspicious, Miki, think of something to say!" She remained calm and looked back at her twin, who already was becoming suspicious of her actions. She softly stuttered, hoping he didnt notice the edgy tone of her voice "Uhm, i did, but it was a long time ago so...i dont quite remember it now. I'm sorry" she apologized, giving a curt nod of her head.
-------------------------
The black-haired girl continued glaring, still clutching her launcher and blade. "I know who you are. There is no hiding it. I know you want to get her but i will not allow to harm her. I need to get information about you and the other one, but lucky me, i manage to track one of you so it made things easy for me. I hope you are prepared for a losing!!" she snarled then showed her blade to Kei. "This beyblade will be your defeat..." she whispered, making the other girls shiver from the murderous tone of her voice.

Miki was panicking. She was starting to panic... and Kai knew it. He could read it in her eyes; itdidn't matter how quickly the girl hid it, he still knew.
And then came the stuttered apology and explanation. What kind of excuse is that? Kai had to wonder, but he didn't say anything, showed no indication that he didn't believe her.
"Is that so?" Kai said instead, hitching the strap of his bag to a more comfortable position on his shoulder. "Well, in any case, you can check out of that hotel and start using your apartment; I'll come with you."
Good lord, what was wrong with him?! First, there was that deal with Hiyomura and that pathetic attempt at explaining - no, defending himself to Yuri, and now this! He'd never talked so much in one day!
---------------------------
Kei arched an eyebrow, partly questioning, partly curious. What the hell-?
"Did I even try hiding anything?" she asked, a bit put off at the other brunette's little 'speech'. "And who the hell am I supposed to be trying to 'get'?"
"That girl's a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket..." Ruri muttered; Hiromi quickly shushed her. Kei paid them no mind.
"Well, whoever you are," the amethyst-eyed teen went on, "you don't quite know who you're dealing with; otherwise, you wouldn't have been so quick to challenge me!" With that, she whipped out her blood-red launcher and customized Dranzer, taking her a neutral stance, nothing special.
No, she didn't think the girl wasn't worth the time and effort; she was just wary of revealing any of her best techniques unless absolutely necessary.

Miki was getting more and more desperate. she suddenly blurted out "I will do it later. We just...got back together..so..so we should just..uh..take a short walk. you know..fo-for catching on each other's lives" She nervously stuttered now making it more obvious for Kai that she was definitely hiding something big. very BIG
----------------------
Diana smirked showing she wasnt scared. "Dont try and play dumb, you are one of those bastards who want her power to do your stupid experiments! or one of their lackies, you just want her ability to use for your modified bits! And there is no way i will let you take her away until she finally finds that Hiwatari Kai!" ending her speech with her beyblade launching and sharply landing in the dish, making it have a small crack.
i dont want to type Diana from a 2nd person point of view anymore! i will just type her name since you know her anyway! but of course, hiromi and ruri and kei doesnt know her name yet.

With no one looking she watched them with a poker face. She clearly saw that they were hiding something even from each other nor would it be spoken. Maria did a background check on Miki when she accepted the job. Some of the records was change and all she knew was true is that Miki had gone to a boarding school at a very changed.
'Some thing happened at those changed records or else they would have a typical a pinch of heart like all twins, but with Kai it was different though for them it was too different.' Maria thought for getting the fact that she was still not mentioned.
She started to hate her job more even though this may be her chance to be closer to Kai, but her other job was a conflict.
As Miki was moving she dropped herself upside down to Miki while still holding on to the tree now with a smile. Still upside down and her hair down like it was up in the air she said, "Don't worry I don't know much."
I took long. I didn't know what to do

Miki noticed her and gave a grateful smile, carefully not letting her twin notice her. but then.... She felt a very cold twinge. After a second, she realized what was going on. She started to run in fear, realizing what was happening. "No, no...Diana! She musnt fight her! She'll get hurt!" Miki continued to run, not caring that her brother was now alarmed by her sudden actions.
