((Sorry, got caught up in a game XD))
vince walked inside and examined Alicia's wound out of the corner of his eyes. "She can't walk on that, and I doubt she even has enough blood to stand up. We'll need some hot wax to help keep the bandages together, and I think I have something in here that could help prevent infection...... Ah, here it is!" Vince pulled out a small bottle containing a clear liquid, and held it up to a light to examine it. "When those herbs Lendelea gave you manages to stop the bleading, tput some of this on the bandage. Now then, wheres a couple of candles? Well, I don't suppose anyone will miss these....." Vince reached over to a nearby group of candles that were being used to light the area, plucked a few of them from the rack and blew them out. " We can melt these down for the wax to help give your leg extra support." Vince walked over to a nearby, empty chair and flopp[ed down in it, letting out a heavy sigh.
"That Aleric guy, he's certainly an interesting character, don't ya think? Oh well. I guess the real problem is, what are we going to do now? We need supplies, but we can't much leave here without being slaughtered by the guards. Let's see..... how far was the next town again?"

Landon stepped inside just in time to hear what Vince had said. "You're forgetting about the passages. Temples were originally built as safe houses long ago when the beings of Light and the beings of Dark were at war. When the beings of Light won that war, humans modeled their havens into worship houses. Naturally, the storage rooms and secret tunnels are still in working order."
While he was speaking, Alicia's grasp on consciousness was slipping away. She could dimly hear someone speaking, but couldn't tell who it was. Black began to close in on the edges of her vision before she was completely consumed by the darkness.

“Landon’s right, the tunnels will help,” Lendelea said putting her bow on the ground beside her. “As for supplies, I can hunt… and I have enough things in my pack to make fires and such. Really all we need is things to sleep in, to keep warm in, and spices and traveler’s bread…” Lendelea stopped herself with a slight blush. This was almost the most she’d talked at all to anyone so far. She looked around the room to glance at Alicia to see how she was holding up, and that’s when she noticed Alicia didn’t have her eyes opened anymore. “Alicia?” Lendelea called coming over quickly to stand by her side, she took of the herbs from her leg that had stopped bleeding, and then placed the cloth back on in a larger quantity from her own clothing. “Alicia?” She called again looking at her face a little more worried now.

Aleric had gone through most of the tunnels seeing where they left him. Once satisfied he mad his way back to the main near where everyone else was. He watched a for a few moments, it was nothing that intriguing so he moved on. His next stop was to see who was on top of the roof. He walked outside, slowly moving that way he didn't make much of a noise. His clothing moving in the wind, but that was the only sound he made. His eyes darted to where he had seen the figure earlier, but saw nothing. 'There has to be a way up there.'

Narren hadn’t even noticed that the girl was injured until she had to be carried into the church by the mage. As the others followed her in, Narran closed his eyes, trying to ignore the instinctive idea to follow them. Never mind the fact he could heal her, it was wiser to look out for his own skin here – and walking into a bunch of strangers definitely wasn’t the best way to go about that.
The last of them disappeared from Narren’s careful sight. He released a breath he hadn’t even known he had been holding, and stepped out from behind his tree. What to do now? Hesitating over the question, he shook his head and slunk closer to the temple, until he was right beside its entrance. These people intrigued him – and the fact he was fairly certain that he knew that girl only made him more curious…
A faint scuff was the only warning Narren got, before the mage strode out of the temple, right past Narren’s semi-hidden niche. Narren froze, certain that he’d be in a whole lot of trouble if he was discovered trying to eavesdrop on this group. The mage halted only a few paces away from Narren, apparently unaware of his presence.
A shiver in the air made him freeze all over again, for completely different reasons. It was similar to the feeling he got when the mage had conjured those black globes – it was how magical workings ‘felt’ to him. But the strange thing was that, as far as Narren could tell, the mage in front of him wasn’t doing anything. For that matter, trailing his eyes across the empty courtyard, he couldn’t see anything that looked like the origin of the magic. Flicking his eyes back to the mage, he sucked in a shaky breath as quietly as he could. It didn’t take a genius to work out that something was definitely not right here.
Ever so carefully, Narren sidled across towards the temple entrance. Never mind the group inside, Narren had no idea what was going on here – and that made staying a hundred times worse. Glancing one last time at the back of the mage, he slipped stealthily into the temple.

Alicia came to barely even a minute after she had passed out. Once she was able to think properly, she sat herself up in a better position and looked around. "I think..." Her voice was a bit shaky so she paused to clear her throat and take a deep breath. When she continued, her voice was stronger. "I think I need to see a healer soon." She smiled sheepishly, as if apologizing for getting hurt.

Vince nodded slightly. "Well, we can either see if there happens to be one in the temp[le, or find something to cover our faces and hope no one recognizes us, and go out into town and find a healer. I still have a good deal of money with me, so that shouldn't be a problem." Vince folded his arms and leaned back further into the chair.

Aleric's ears perked at the sound and he turned to see a small glimps of a person walking into the temple. "So that's how we shall play this game." He smirked and followed. Spells forming in his mind, whoever this person was, he was going to regret ever messing with them.
Aleric spotted the man, his voice cold as it lept through the air, "Stop right there." He walked closer to the person, "What do you think your doing?"

Narren froze as the voice behind him reached his ears. Apparently he wasn't as stealthy as he thought he was. Noting the rest of the group off to the side, he spun around to face the speaker, trying to keep an neutral expression on his face.
"Jus' entering a temple...nothing wrong with that, is there?"
Inwardly, Narren was sweating over this turn of events. However desperate he had been to get away from that strange feeling in the air, he hadn't actually though about what to say to the group inside. Maybe he had some vague thoughts of healing that girl - and finding out where this feeling of familiarity came from - but aside from that...
Reaching a quick decision, Narren gatherd his courage and glanced over his shoulder.
"Actually..." He turned back to the mage and folded his arms, masking his uncertainty, "I saw th'girl over there. I can help her..." he trailed off, not sure what to say next to this dangerous figure.

Aleric's eyes narrowed, "Your the one on the roof." He was mainly talking to himself, but it made a little sense, the would be why he saw the girl. But the next question was why he wanted to help and how he could help, "Your a mage... by the looks of it... a white mage." A small smirk spread across her face, "Before I let you go do whatever... what... were you doing on top of the roof?" Now sense he was with the group more or less and he was going to make sure these guys were protected, even if he didn't like them.

"Where 'as tha' Aleric gone?" Alicia looked around, still dazed, and sighed. She'd gone back to talking like she never learned proper Common again. Twice in one day? She was really stressed to lose her proper speech twice in one day. She laughed pathetically. "He's prob'ly off killin' somethin'." Her laugh became a bit hysteric. "Dead puppies..." She closed her eyes and leaned back again. "I 'ad a puppy once... Soldiers take 'im, but tha... tha' was a good day."

Narren hesitated, surprised that the mage had seen him. Was he one of those who could ’see’ with magic?
“I was…runnin’ an errand for me old man…and I was passin’ by when I saw you lot-“ he inclined his head at the others, “-ah…fightin'. Ain’t somthin’ you see every day, so I watched.” He ended there, not willing to add anything.
Inwardly, Narren was far more unsettled now. How had this man known that he was a white mage? Narren himself could sense magic – something he assumed all mages could do – but only when it was actually being cast. Narren wasn’t doing anything of the sort.
It’s not because I look like a mage, is it?
Narren shook his head, then eyed the mage.
“Look, I’m jus’ here because I saw tha’ girl was hurt. Nothin’ sinister or the like, alright? But…”
He looked past the mage’s shoulder at the empty courtyard beyond.
“There’s somethin’ funny goin’ on out there, if you catch my drift…”

Lendelea shook her head in exsasperation at Alicia. "Look Aleric, can you at least let him heal the girl, and then ask question's later?" Lendelea poitned to Alicia, entending to point out again, that she REALLY needed help. It appeared her sanity was slipping...

"Huh wha'?" Alicia looked around again, this time actually seeing Aleric and the other person standing beside him. She frowned in concentration, sure she'd seen him somewhere before. Her face cleared as she remembered. "Hey! You're tha' Nar... Nar... that Narnen guy what helped Mark out the one time he had tha' big gash in 'is leg. You was... You was very nice ta me."
Curse blood loss, she thought inwardly. It seemed that whatever she wanted to say got mangled up somewhere between her brain and her mouth. If I'm able to think using proper Common, I should be able to speak proper Common! Not only is it making me speak like a common beggar, but it's made me into a raving lunatic! Wonderful, just wonderful.
