((Suki is right =O just because Leichi's DNA has big ears doesn't mean that Leichi definately has big ears...))
My people continued walking. Normally. It didn't help that they didn't feel like saying anything.... Well.... maybe that's only half the truth on that...

Brownie and Ginger tried cupping their hands around their ears. When nothing seemed different about their hearing, they shrugged. "No it doesn't." Note the fact that they were already in alien forms, and their hands couldn't get all the way around the big pointed things they had for ears.
"You two are idiots," Ruby muttered under her breath. They pretended not to hear her as if she'd been talking normally.

Rini of course tried it, and it did kind of work. "Everything sounds like.. louder." She said in a dazed voice.
Sakura sighed. "Oh course Rini, of course." But when her friend gave her a goofy smile, she couldn't help but smile back.

"It still wouldn't work if we were in our human forms," Brownie said to Fisshu. "As aliens, we have slightly better hearing anyway because of some nerve thing that gets really complicated, and cupping our hands around them blocks the nerve... or something like that... so anything we try to do to improve our being able to hear really doesn't do anything. At least, I think that's what Pai and Thyme have told me..." Ginger merely ignored the comment.
((*is making Brownie make stuff up to try and defend herself* Fisshu is actually correct, but Brownie hates being wrong, so lying seems to fix that.))

Fisshu ignored Brownie's.. wierd comment.
"My hearings not the best because it's like I've got water in my ears.." Fisshu replied to Sakura. "Since I got whiskers!!"
It seemed she forgot what she was talking about in the first half of her sentence.
