Fishboy0
Jim had always been fascinated with Gray Jedi when he was younger. Every day he would ask his master about the Gray Jedi. 'Why are they so powerful? How come they don't go to one side of the Force or the other without going mad?' And every day he would have his questions answered. Except for one. That was the day his master died. Jim had been anticipating the day he would meet a Gray Jedi. Now he has the chance to be one. But why was he so unsatisfied. Because it's not my choice. I'm being forced to become one.

Rhiannon leaned over closer to Jim so her voice would not carry to others close by. "Do you think Master Sw-Shan," Rhiannon corrected herself quickly, then continued in a hoarse whisper. "Will force us to convert to neutrality?"

"I''m not sure. I''ve never been sure. My whole life was unsure. I wasn''t sure about becoming a Jedi five years ago. I wasn''t sure about coming to the temple. And I''m not sure that master Alron didn''t convert to the dark side. But if becoming a Gray jedi will ease my uneasiness, I''l still be unsure."

((Had to put this in to show what he did when he boarded.))
Grunk and R9, his astro droid take one last look at their beloved ship then board the Jedi transport turning to the one who called him a Jedi and said shaking his head with his gungan ear flaps flaping about, "I am no Jedi... at least not yet." he continued into the ship then he found a spot to sit and sighs, "Dooo whooo beep."
"Yes Arnine we will go back to Naboo and hopefully they will geive us a new ship, but only after I have become a Jedi."
"Ooooooh beep whooooop." replied R9.

Rhiannon could only nod mutely at Jim's answer and straightened up, her fingers wandering again over her amber pendant. She had never been unsure of becoming a jedi, not even when she was first asked if she wished to be one. Becoming a jedi had meant everything to her, and she had never questioned it through the past five years.

But becoming a grey jedi seemed to appeal to her now. Being able to use the light and dark powers without having to become one seemed wonderful. If the force had been trained like that in the first place, there wouldn't even be a battle between the Sith and Jedi.

Her new found indecision overwhelmed her. Rhiannon would just have to wait until tomorrow, when Master Shan was going to speak with them all.

Glacian stood up and placed his hands in the table, almost slamming them there. he lies Glacian thought to himself. He's good at it, very good, he has no tell, no bluff fidgets. I would work on a normal person and mmost padawans, but from what my parents taught me and living on my own and dealing for myself, i can tell this guy is lying. Some of it is true, but most are lies.

Through sheer will he did not say anything to that measure and showed the same cool demeaner as he said, "If we can leave whenever, we leave now, unless Master Swex wished to come with us, then we will wait. But it seems like he desires to stay and help you with your mission. Any of the padawans here that wish to stay and follow Swex to the neutral jedi temple, i will not bar you in any way, but if you are unsure, I am leaving now and you need to come with me, now."

Glacian was not going to wait for the padawans to be drawn to Swex by lies. If they later found that they wanted to become a grey jedi, so be it. But they were being lured and lied to made to think of dilusions of granduer, it wasn't the neutrality that he disliked, it was at the moment, Swex and his allies. He also knew that Isis and the ship itself worked quickly to repair any damages, so the to shot out wing boosters were probably at least at 70% as he spoke, plus they hadn't shot out the main engines, and those were what he needed to go into hyperspace anyway, the wings weren't needed for that. They were literally good to go. If the admiral tried to stop them in anyway, it would just shatter his promise and the value of his word and resolve any of Glacian's uncertainis he still had about how fake and false the TAs nice guy front that the Admiral was try to put up.

Just in case, Glacian's saber hilts, both of them, were at the tips of his jedi robes sleeves, ready to go into action faster than any of the guards could responed.

Rhiannon obediently rose at Glacian's words. She could think more on the grey jedi when she got back to the jedi temple, and if she did decide she wanted to be one, she'd find a way out of Coruscant and to the Neutral Jedi temple. Changing sides was not something to suddenly decide at the drop of a hat.

((WHY!? Why is it right after I leave to go somewhere everyone starts posting? crying ))

Kari was tired form using so much of the force, and now with Glacian saying to leave she didn't know what to do. To believe her Master or her friend, any choice she made would seem like the wrong one.

Glacian, why don't we wait to see what Master Swex or Shan has to say, if you still want to leave then, it would be easier for everyone to choose if we got to have a full picture. Kari said with her head down in a low voice.

Zeth was leaning back on the wall in the hangar where the Raptor was, watching Glacian, trying to be the hero of the day. Zeth didn't agree with either of them, being A Grey Jedi wasn't bad or good, it was just musch riskier to your own being as A person than A Sith or Jedi.

Zeth had reall no loyalties to either side, which would make him A Grey jedi. He pulled out A controller and punched a few numbers. Within seconds, the Furyan came to the hangar and parked next to the Raptor. R4 had brought Zeth's ship and bleeped happily to see his master once again.

"I need some thinking by myself"

He closed the cockpit and stayed there, thinking of the situation at the hand

Kari stood in silence and thought about the choise she was about to have to make. She was being trained by Master Swex or Shan or whatever, if she went back to the temple and he didn't come with she would have to start over....from the begining looking for a master. But how could she base hewr choice about trainning thats wrong. Kari didn't know what to do, she would turn to someone but it seemed like everyone was having a hard time with this choise also.

The Condemnation, meeting room. Flying in deep space, beyond Wayland, unexplored terretories

((EH, zeth, what cockpit? We're in the meeting room of the condemnation, and it's locked to keep you there...

anyway, have fun listening blaugh ))

One of the doors of the meeting room with the jedi and admiral tutek opened, and a large, black clothed man came walking trough it. The suit he wore looked kind of the darth vader suit, but it was completely made to Teiravan standarts. The head looked like the one all the soldiers had, large, red eyes, the small wings on the head...between then lights were glowing, probably pressure-keepers on the wounds...as far as there was skin left

"Jedi... I have a lot to explain, please, sit down.
The doctors managed to keep me alive, barely... I'm semi mechanic now, but my capabilities have not been damaged in any way. At least they didn't give me vaders nasty breathing sound... I'm sorry I need to walk in black, but I don't have a choise... the material weakens when painted... I'll tell you my story now, from the beginning... First, I am not Swex Char"

"Neither did I join the jedi just 3 years ago, after the great convergence.. No, I was here before any of you... before peren, before Alron, just after master Seph... My official name is Quilan Shan, but the jedi always knew me as Maniac...

I've seen both my share of light and dark, and both the extremes started to annoy me more and more troughout the years. I started on the light side, but when my master was killed, I fell... just a month later, I found redemption and returned... Alron joined the academy too, we were friends, trained a lot together, but the convergence 3 years ago did more damage then we could expect.. Both of us were masters, but the Korriban atmosphere left scars on both of us"
PostPosted: Tue Sep 06, 2005 3:03 am

"Now, with my past, you might have expected me to fall.. No that did not happen, altough I was close to it before the convergence, when I tried to infiltrate the order... The sith lord nearly killed me when I had to prove myself... once I was healed from it, I got the hell out of there, it wasn't worth the risk...

No, during the convergence, it was me attempting to seek peace with the dark jedi, unforunatly, it didn't work... we managed to live together on a planet, but my proposition to share terretory and make a neutral force to fight in the war, it never came trough. In that war, the republic showed it's true face however. They hunted the jedi because they were afraid they would become too powerfull, because we became a treat. Looking back, it were fake jedi that were the treat, but back then they didn't even take time to investigate if it were the actual jedi... they just hunted us, showing their lust for power. In essence, they are no different then the imperials, they just know they have to keep the people in a friendly stance...

What I did notice on Korriban was that Alron became more quiet, in a bad way. We had to supress all emotions, if we were not to fall... We learned to hide emotion, or even our force power and side... like emperor palpatine managed to do for all those years.. Alron and I mastered it. But I could feel him change. Eversince he has been struggling.. you must have noticed it after the attack on Talus... he couldn't hold down his dark side, he was struggling all the time, thats why he kept meditating... it was the only way to keep his dark side down.. He used to be an active trainer..spar, show powers, all the time... Now he only explains the theory and meditates...

Anyway, back to Korriban.."

"Alron slightly started to change, the imps became active, the republic still chased us without a true reason... I couldn't live with that, action had to be taken against this republic... they misused their power...and I went to seek again. I found the Korriban cave near the jedi temple, walked by a many, the exile was the last to do that trick...

I went in an found the rooms the exile walked, but they were plundered..there was nothing left, exept one room, a hidden room... it is where I found the answer it is where I found the spirit of the force

The spirit was a gathering of energy, from jedi long dead. And they saw a thing they refused to see when they were alive.. There was no dark or no light, it was the way you looked at it. The force is universal, all powers are universal...only the persons that use it are not. Some started liking some of the powers, or the wealth, the power you got from them. They started enjoying saving, or killing...killing as ruthless as possible with deadly powers... but even these powers can be used for good purposes...

They also saw that the jedi and the sith were both questing for that power. The jedi had to keep the republic from misusing their power, but also did that because in that position they could influence the galaxy. The sith were the same for their armies, or later, the empire.

They wished that they weren't like that when they were alive, they wished the jedi would do what they did 25000 years ago...to seek out the knowledge, the wisdom, of the force, and only interfere with the republic once it was really, really needed.
I liked the idea, all that wisdom the old jedi lost when they became part of the republic...it hurted... I also knew the republic couldn't function without the jedi, and thousands of years ago, planetary governments could...it would also kill a lot of bureaucracy..
besides that, the ancient jedi were looking for the universal answers, not the light and dark alone. Their saber skills and force skills were immense...now, we only use a fraction of what they did. I knew I couldn't have those powers again, but maybe after generations of seeking, we would find back those secret powers... something I wanted to gamble for. But I knew I could not do it alone.

But what I did know, were the Teiravahn. I found them years back, when I was chasing space pirates... A broken hyperdrive that made a random jump got us on the planet Teiravuh, I captured the pirates and promised the TA I would not betray them to the republic.. I knew they disliked the republic, so I went back to look for aid 3 years ago. To make my dissapearance complete, I faked my death by going on board a crashing star destroyer. It worked, but I needed students for my order. The Teiravans have force potential people, but they're not the best in the galaxy.. With some look changes, and a small voice change, I managed to rejoin the jedi under a whole new identity and look for those students... and I saw how many Alron chanced when I came there. I trained as his student, but he was so different, so held back, compared to when we trained years ago.. I saw his struggling feelings... I saw he would fall... one day..he would not be able to keep it hidden... That was today"

"Well, today... a few weeks ago... Isn't it a.. coincidence that Alron went to Talus right before the attack, and came back when it had happened? And that the group stealing these ships, as Tutek said, and killing all on it, were led by a force user matching Alrons profile?

There were enough samples to recreate my voice over a radio, the bit of static made the difference between the real me and the droid voice unrecognizanble.. which Al could use to give me the blame. When he stole them, he found out I knew about the ships, so I was the perfect victim. take a few shots from the attack outside, let them give you some damage, and the plan was complete... everyone thinks that I attempted to shot him, and all of Talus, while his man shot Talus, and damaged him a it on purpose... it was a perfect plan... and afterward, Alron seemed even more broken then before..even more struggling to hide his feelings... yet he still could do it well enough to let noone notice. Exept for me, as I was doing the same, hiding my neutrality for years.

But he knew he couldn't hold on for much longer, and before he left the jedi to really go dark, he wanted to take a few students along with him. When I asked him to come and look at a plan to take out the heavy assault vehicles, in a quiet spot with time to discuss it, he got the perfect chance to get rid of the only obstacle preventing him to leave along with you, Me.

I was telling him some plans, when he suddenly grabbed his saber and tried to slice me... I managed to jump away with only a damaged arm... he told me what happened... he told me he knew of my fleet, my ships, and that they were a great help for the imperials on Talus... he did not tell he actually helped them conquer the ships, but the SOS from the ships admiral confirmed that. He told me that I wouldn't live long, and that he would say I died on accident... he would take you away before you would get shot too, as there was no way to win... to a safe place. Of course, you would have believed him according to Al...

he attacked again, we went on and on..and yes, you might have felt dark powers coming from me. As I am neutral, I did use powers that you feel as dark, like lightning... because I know I can do it without falling, and it was the only way to stop Alron I tought... but he was stronger as he was fighting for the kill, and I for the disable-strike...to save myself, I had to force him over the edge... there was no other way...to save myself, but more important, save you from him... I understand none of you saw it coming... but even master yoda did not see that... like noone saw palpatine changing years and years ago. I wish there was another way... I wish that when I saw Alron changing I would have talked to him back then, instead of thinking it would be temporary... but we can't go back...even the ancients could not do that"

Maniac spoke with a slightly metallic but recognizable voice... it was that he couldn't cry anymore due to his mask, else he would have... there was no other way...if there was, he would have let Alron live...but there was none.

Reytha, far underground

Alron fell down, hundreds of metres... the gap was truly endless, perhaps even to the center of the planet... Finally Alron saw an oppertunity, he got hold of a piece of rock sticking out of the gap wall.. with an enourmous force, he got smacked against the wall itself, making him let go of the piece of stone again.. Luckely, a bigger rock platform was underneath him, and he fell right on the Edge of it.. A few inches further and he would ahev continued a journey to the planet core.

Alron crawled forward a few more inches, away from the gap. He saw a hole in front of him, the platform gave acces to some kind of cave.. perhaps this would be a way out... but Alron was too weak, the battle, the blow to the wall, it devastated him... Alron stayed down on the ground to rest a little, and heal a bit, so he could continue his walk.. Hopefull, he was just tired out and bruiced (sp)..some stretched arms from grabbing the rock..anyway, he didn''t feel like he broke all bones at least, perhaps a rib or two, but not more.. Alron fell asleep far beneath the surface... preparing to continue later

((Ok, before all the kiddies start OmIGOSH he lives, I sense it!, I want to note the following
A) Alron is nearly dead, well, tired out, and therefor has little force left to sense
b) Reytha and the condemnation are around half a galaxy away from eachother... The little life left in alron is hardly sensible, by a master even, when on Reytha now, not to mention from that enourmous distance... Noone would be able to do that, not even Yoda. In other words, you cannot sense he is still alive and have to accept the fact he died, id he doesn''t really do that))
