Taizen's grip lessened sligtly, he was still wary, but he didn't want to make Niima worried, but he didn't want to turn around and have the fire nation women stick a knife in his back. Although, for a waterbender to live in the fire nation, and apparently find the firebender of no threat. Taizen hoped at least that his slight trust in his own tribe-men, should add up enough with Niima's trust, to allow him to act freely and non-violently with the black haired woman. "War is never really a light subject. And nationalism is a strong force..." Taizen acknowledge, helping Niima stand, unfortunately, the position they had been in previously was difficult to maneuver in, and there never really was a '0%' chance of someone being an ally. Well, atleast he beleive he had that with Niima...

Tsuzuki smiled; she liked this Taizen guy. He wasn't as energetic and happy as Niima and Musei (not to mention a few of her Earth Kingdom friends) but he was interesting. "So, not that I've done my job, I don't want to be a burden to you two. I just need to be healed here and go back to my home to wait for some visitors. You can do whatever you want as long as you don't start any trouble," she winked and turned around towards the healer with a big, fake, smile on her face.

Yes, she was still slightly worried not for herself but for Taizen. Her own captains were arriving soon and, as far as she knew, they could be completely nationalistic. Something that Taizen, Niima, and Musei wouldn't want to get their hands in.

She pulled from Taizen's arms and moved to give Tsuzuki a hug. "It's alright. We will be leaving the nation soon and head where ever Musei deems next. It was a pleasure to meet you Miss Tsuzuki and hopefully our paths will cross again. You be safe and stay out of trouble yourself!" Before the woman could react, she was released and Niima retreated to Taizen. Hand grabbed she nearly yanked Taizen in a semi-circle as she dragged him out the hut to where Musei was. Taizen once again released Niima all but tackled her brother into fierce hug. "Museeeeiiii Why are you sulking?" She whispers to his ear. "That's usually my job!" Squeeze Squeeze Squeeze, she dragged her younger sibling along and near Taizen.

"Musei where do you want to head next?" She would now happily travel the world with Taizen and Musei there! Musei was released so he could breath (heh) and she moves over to stand aside of Taizen. Sneaky lil hand sought to hold Taizen's as she looked up to him in hopes he didn't mind that Musei was choosing. Well okay..Taizen didn't have a choice.

Taizen noddedin thanks, then voiced it. "Thank you, we all appreciate it." Taizen acknowledged, before looking up with some surprise as Niima released his hand, and hugged Tsuzuki, Taizen made no movements to stop her, though he did feel sorta down cast, until she grabbed him again, (and then swung him around) and then, as though toying with Taizen's emotions, released him again... When Taizen found his hand entertwined with Niima, he firmed his grip on her with a slight pout. Apparently, he didn't want Niima to let go again...

Musei blinked, whirled around with a mixture of motions. He tried struggling out of the grip, but found himself unable to until Niima released him.

"I can be sulky if I want to be." He grumbled, moving until he had the staff across his shoulders, hands hanging loosely over the wooden frame. "Besides, I really wanted to..." He stopped, biting his lip. He wanted to state how badly he wanted to see Fulgar again, but he was afraid how sore Niima would still be on the subject.

"...to learn something, ya?" He grumbled, looking out at the sea. "Didn't learn much."

Her eyes focused on Musei, the words kind of actually..hurting. He wasn't telling her the truth. He wore his emotions on his sleeve and it showed that something was bothering him. "Musei? W-What is wrong..? Please, Tell me..." Concerned for him, her face softened and she looked up to Taizen as if he would have some sort of..explanation.

Slowly her eyes returned to Musei and she sighed a bit. She couldn't keep anyone happy could she? She failed miserably at keeping either Taizen or Musei happy and impossible to get them both them being happy! Her fingers curled to Taizen's firm grip to ensure the embrace between them.

Taizen's fingers around Niima's was reassuring, but, Musei, put Taizen's mind whirring, what could he possibly want to learn in the fire nation? Taizen could accredit learning from all four nations as learning, but the way Musei bit his lip, implied he wanted to learn something specific. Learn about something specific in the firenation... Taizen had come to the fire nation before, but it was a short lived stay. When Niima looked up to Taizen he felt like he had no answers, and could only shake his head. Niima returned to Musei, worried, "Well, let's go learn.. Something..." Taizen said in an attempt to make the both of them happy. "You know, whatever it is you want to learn Musei..." Taizen said, trying to become a bit more of a friend for the young nomad. He saw how Niima felt at having Musei distressed, and he wanted for her to be happy. Of course, wanting one persons happyness by making another person happy, was hollow, and Taizen wondered silently how he could bond with Musei, to see, as Taikai had put it, "Old beyond years".

(Dysfunctional Family much?)

Musei sighed, looking up at Taizen. He avoided Niima's critical glance, not wanting to worry her; as he was already. It worried him that she could see through him so easily. Here he was, thinking that he had the emotions of iron, and yet it may not be as true as he thought.

His eyes flitted to Niima as he responded. "I'm fine, Niima." He smiled, eyes closed in reassurance. "See?" Then, sliding his staff out so he held it, he looked out ahead of them.

"I really...haven't learned anything. I barely know how to airbend, I don't know how other benders work, and I certaintly am not strong enough to...duel."

He paused, realizing that he had almost ended it at 'not strong enough', and would have left it at that. He had to end it with something. Just to keep Niima from worrying about him. Again.

"I just need a...a teacher. Niima, she gave me a pretty crash course on the boat, but it only helped me a little."

Taizen would feel Niima's hand grow tighter..and tighter as Musei spoke. Though her face held a semi-smile she was ..hurt. Had she not started out as a good teacher? It wasn't like they where done..teaching takes..years. But he obviously didn't find her as a suitable teacher. And his words drew her to a conclusion, just from his past speakings and things they had spoke of, she started to understand. He wanted Fulgar. She knew eventually that was going to happen. He admired Fulgar so much. He wanted the man he idolized...

"Musei..if you want to go see him, I will not stop you. If you..wish to go be taught with him I understand..." Her eyes stayed on Musei, allowing him to see her eyes..to see she meant it. After all...it was what he wanted and she would not stop him. Niima was always good at reading people..but it wasn't so much reading this particular time around..it was just because she knew Musei.

Musei blinked, eyes catching Niima's glance just out the corners of his vision. "It's not that. It's...I just want to learn more." He quickly slid over and attached himself to his sister. "I never would leave you, simply to meet...Fulgar." He finally said, looking up. "You're my family. And I...well..."

He smiled, holding out the wooden staff with a flustered grandeur. "I don't think a man from the fire nation can tell me how to use this thing." He grinned a little wider, tickling Niima's sides furiously.

Truth of the matter was, he did want to see Fulgar. He just...didn't know where the hell the man was.

Thank god it was Niima cutting the blood flow from Taizen's hand, because otherwise, he would have voiced, or did, something. Instead he made do with making the slightest face. Of course, the face turned from slightly pained, to incredulous, him?! Taizen kept his mouth closed. It was obviously a very tender subject for Taizen to speak about without causing some blood loss. He held out with some hope that Musei was speaking of someone else. However, uttering his name made it definite, and taizen's grip firmed on Niima's, almost saying: "Is this quite wise?" Though, he did not voice it. Sure, fulgar was a nice person... Apparently... But, it seemed that Musei still didn't beleive in this... 'Cain' As though he were just a make-beleive monster used to scare bad children... Well, he was, except he was real. Taizen could remember as he attempted to heal him, the pain that flooded through him. Nothing 'good' can come from him, was what Taizen had said to himself, however, if Niima was willing to give him another chance...Taizen really had no choice in the matter. He released Niima's hand as Musei attacked Niima's sides. How long had this been going on? Was he the only one who hadn't known Niima was ticklish..?

She twitched, trying to hide in her laughter but the tickling was too much. Squirming away she moved to hide behind Taizen as she laughed softly. "Musei..stop that. And you are my family but it is obvious something is bothering you. Learning takes time..I just taught you things you could do for morning exercises..not a crash course."

She's always been ticklish. In fact she is very ticklish but Taizen never tried! Her arms slid about Taizen's waist and she leaned to his back, cheek pressing to the middle section as she regarded Musei. "Learning Bending is like..Learning the way of the world. Just to start takes time..to learn the basics and the knowledge takes time. To learn to use it effectively takes time. You will find even as you become a Master..you are still learning."

"And that's why I said I wanted to learn something!" Musei stated, holding out his hand. "It's not that you weren't a great teacher, it's just that we didn't have time." He smiled, looking up at Taizen for some unexplicable reason.

"For some reason, now I think we're going to have a bit more time." His eyes, through merely looking at Taizen, displayed an analyzing look. As if he was asking, are you here to stay? He wasn't going to allow Niima to be hurt again. Ever.

"And...do we have to sail? Or do you two really not want to stay here?" He blinked, adding in, "Not that I mind or anything..."

Taizen met Musei's eyes with equal analyzing power. He'd done this often, however Musei was one of the few to give him an analyzing look back. Like Niima. Taizen's eyes spoke as well. I am staying as long as I have to to keep Niima happy. Words unspoken were cold. However when Taizen answered Musei's question it was with a tone of cheerfulness. "we won't have to sail unless Fulgar is on some island, right?" Taizen said in an attempt to bring the worries and doubt to an end. "I have no problem staying here, were not in any real danger anyway." Wow, what confidence.

"Actually I suspect that Fulgar would be on the main island. But we can stay as long as you deem, Musei." She was too tired to argue or try to figure things out anymore. Her arms began to loosen against Taizen but she still leaned against him, if not a bit more. "If you wish to learn more airbending I suggest we return to the temple though. That way you can find someone..better then me to teach you."
