Jaden blushed. " I like to use them when i have baths..." It was a tiny pleasure he indulged in. " Go ahead and get comfy." He said as he strated to set the candles up, this batch was vanilla.

"I like to have my baths with many candles, and rose petals in the water, usually vanilla candles because lavendar doesn't exactly compliment the natural scent of roses," Joseph confessed quietly, sitting down and getting comfortable. He sat with one knee up, one arm resting over the upraised knee, holding the candle in that hand. The other leg was draped over the edge of the window seat, so his foot lightly touched the ground, other hand lightly resting on the thigh of the leg hanging over the edge.

" I've never used rose petals before but I always use candles, I have baskets full under the sink in the bathroom. " This week im using the vanilla." He said lighting them as he went before he checked to make sure he had the right colors. " You ready?"

"The rose petals are mainly just for extra relaxation," Joseph said lightly as he glanced out the window before looking back towards Jaden with a light smile, nodding his head. "I'm ready if you are."

Smiling Jaden turned on a small desk light then turned off the main light letting the candles do there job. " Okay, try to stay still while i do the out line after that you can move a bit more." He said grabbing a pencil so he could do the main lines and detailed work first.

Joseph nodded, and as soon as the light turned off he went perfectly still, even his tail stopped flicking to rest against the bench beneath him. He could sit still for hours, after all, he had learned to keep perfectly still and silent when he was very young. He took shallow breaths, so that his chest barely moved.

Jaden smiled as he sketched his hand moving across the canvas with sure strokes, this was the one place he was sure of himself, he was in his his element and his whole posture showed it. As he stood to his full height and seem utterly relaxed.

The feline carefully watched Jaden, but kept his body perfectly still. It was just... watching Jaden paint, sitting up looking so relaxed, and seeming so sure of himself.. It was a beautiful sight, really, to see someone doing what they really enjoyed.

Jaden glanced up and smiled before looking back to his painting nodding to himself as he set the pencil down and picked up his paint brush and started the hard part. Making sure he got all the colors right. he was going to start with Joseph's hair.

Joseph closed his eyes for a moment, glad that he had to sit still... because with only the candle light, he was in a romantic mood, sitting still definately helped him to keep himself under control.

Jaden mixed reds together with orange and brown and even yellow to get the parts that glowed from the candle light. He'd only get part way done tonight unless he wanted to stay awake till he finished. Which he was rather tempted to do.

The feline opened his eyes once more, wondering if Jaden wanted to finish the painting in one night or if he was tired at all. Then again, half of his mind was also thinking of rather inappropriate things, which he was trying desperately to control.

Jaden frowned and chewed on his lip, as he worked on the shaded part of the other felines hair, once he was content with that he moved onto the black, mixing in some brown to give it more tone. " You can talk you know or i can turn on music."

"Whichever you perfer is fine with me," The feline murmured quietly, closing his eyes once more as he tried to shove the inappropriate thoughts from his head, he wasn't sure anymore if it was the candlelight, or simply Jaden.

Jaden shrugged it didn't matter either way with him, he was fine working in silence. He painted ears and hands and then a tail. before he set the brush down long enough to take the sweater off so he could put on a paint covered t-shirt.
