"Of course I know where they are keeping her body." he said. "In the morgue in the hospital, they came and got her earlier." he replied. "I still can't believe she is gone, and Brook said that she was literally scared to death, but only one demon could do it and that's barbus but he can't because he got vanquished quite a few times." he said.

Maddie threw her hands in the air out of frustration and turned to the TV. A monkey fell out of the tree? She thought, rolling her eyes. She stood up and walked back out to the kitchen. "If Barbas has been vanquished several times, what makes you think he couldn't find yet another loop hole around being vanquished?" She asked, appearing at the door of the kitchen.
"But I wouldn't think it was him because it doesn't fit his M.O. He usually goes after 13 witches and works quickly to do so. In-" She paused and looked at her watch. "- In 6 hours, who-ever the demon is has only killed one witch, that we know of." She said, calmly.

"Demons copy powers and warlock steal powers. It's unlikely that another demon could copy that power, but what if the demon isn't a mix breed?" She asked, going more off a hunch then actual information. "What if the demon is- I don't know- an empath or a telepath?" She suggested, with a shrug.
"If the demon was an empath all he/she would've had to do would be to tap into someone else's fear and relay it back onto Jen." She said, thoughtfully. She'd never seen it before, but she was sure it was a possibility.

"Your guess is as good as mine." She said with a shrug. "Maybe Brook can help you figure that part out." She said, with a small smile. "Anyway, I'll be around if you guys need me. Oh, and don't forget to keep me updated on Jon, he still doesn't know who I am." She said with a wave and orbed out.

Brooklynn dark orbed in, seeing the orbs. "Who's got a whitelighter?" She asked, skeptically. She quickly shrugged it off. "I don't know who, but I know why." She said, speaking quickly.
"Apparently Jen had some dealings with demons, more-so then everyone else seemed to know about. She was in-debted to a demon named Demitrius, not much is known about him, but he wanted her an you to go after a demon that's near unbeatable, magic doesn't work against him." She explained.

Austin listened and nodded throughout the conversation. He turned to Dan. "Ok, I'm going to the morgue to take a look." He phased out.

"Do you think this demon that he wanted us to vanquish could be the one that killed Jen? and do you think Demitrius set her up?" he asked looking at Brook. "Jon has a whitelighter." he replied.

Brook glanced at Keon and Jadine. "I know you from somewhere." She told Keon, as she tried to place him. She looked at Dan, wondering if she could trust them. The more people that kne she was reporting to Dan, the more of a risk there was.

"Uh, hello. You do realize that's like me telling you, he's fine he's only an assassin for the source." She told him skeptically. She laughed it off and rolled her eyes. "Anyway, is there anything else you wanted to know or can I go home?" She asked, evenly. She sounded as though she wanted to go home, although part of her would like to stay and get to know Dan better.
