We`rika waited patiently for Josh. Throwing elbows wouldn't really help the situation and this Eiry seemed nervous enough. Which only fueled the Huicholan's deed. He leaned against the booth's counter, watching Josh land a quick peck with cool composure, while the water boiled underneath. Ladies first as they say, hiding his smart a** smile under the thick wool scarf. He couldn't help being nasty, but at least he could keep it inside.

Busying himself, he pulled out the three dollars it cost, keeping sharp eyes on the blushing Raevan. He wondered who nominated the poor shaking creature for this duty? We`riak almost felt bad now.... well.... he supposed he shouldn't kid himself, he didn't feel that bad.

‘Oh my!’ was the only thought that flashed in Josh’s mind. In no way had he expected another kiss from the Eiry. He was left in awe, but quickly gathered himself back up and decided to leave the kissing booths for now. It wasn’t one of Josh’s favorite past times anyway. He only hoped that he hadn’t scared the young raevan for good. The last thing he wanted to do was initiate an ongoing phobia in Eiry. “Good bye!” He squeaked as the raevan was hurried off.

Josh made his way over to the bonfire; the place he now considered a comfortable place to reside. Of course, he passed the ‘Lucky Bowl’ on the way and gave it one more try.

Alex had been observing the eb and flow of the populace attending the festivities. Many had been as surprised as she about the Raevans, some reacting rather negatively. The kissing booths were generally being avoided like the plague in favor of some dice game. The woman wasn't usually one to test her luck, but since this was free and generally well received, she decided to take a gander.

She kneeled by the pan, carefully reading over the instructions. Her eyes skimmed over the names, realizing they were Raevans when she got to Vyn. "Vyn, Kalec, Riv-..." She stared hard at the next name. Rivener? Her slender eyebrows furrowed at the name. She knew this name, but why?

Alex snapped her fingers as she remembered. It was when she'd met that nice gentleman at the art store! He had mentioned having to meet his little brother, and...his Rivener. She rocked on her heels, a little stunned at the irony of the situation. He's an owner, she thought to herself, surprised. I wonder if I'll see him again.

She decided to dwell on it later. Her mind already felt so active that she thought she might start forgetting things just to retain all the new knowledge she had aquired. A game of dice would keep her off her feet for a little while.

"Just a few tosses," she said to no one in particular.

Taking a look around, Natsuki saw many new faces in the crowd. Chloe's pink hair caught her attention, causing Natsuki to giggle. If Chloe was here that meant Roux was probably floating around and up to no good. She enjoyed her chats with the pair of them. She also caught sight of Gage and Vyn floating about, making a note to drop by and say 'hello' to them again. There were many other Raevans that she didn't recognize, but she looked forward to the chance to meet each and every one of them.

"All right, you two," she scolded the dice affectionately, waving her finger as well before pointing to the prize chart. "Could you just land on one of those numbers?"

"142? Now that's just mean," Natsuki pouted shamelessly at the pan. "Now you're just teasing me."

Natsuki's stomach growled, hinting that she might want to consider taking a break to fill up the empty tank. The line at the food booths appeared to be dying down, but her gut instinct told her that as soon as she left to go feed her face, someone else would come along and win something. Most likely the person immediately after her. Natsuki knew that playing the game would be dangerous, though if she kept this pace, she might need an intervention.

"Pick a different number combination. for crying out loud."

Niksia found herself being startled by a wailing cry from one of the kissing booths. She had been guilty of watching one out of sheer morbid nosiness, so only caught a faint flash of colour disappearing as she looked for the sound of the cry.

Oops? It had to happen eventually, lots of people and kissing involved. It was just a shame she had to get frightened out of her skin, she wasn't usually so blindly unaware but wearing her so called 'disguise' meant she felt out of sorts. A face covering and some leg protection would be lovely around now, but she was out of luck.

With a faint rumble of regret, Niksia realised that she hadn't eaten enough today. Between one thing and another it had became a secondary worry until now. She decided to sneak in the direction of the refreshment stand again.

And she had no other motives to do that.

She told herself.

Scanning the list, a 53 wasn't close... to anything. After doing the math, Natsuki realised that it was 14 points shy of 67, but the Meli plushie was gone, and 11 over the score for the Rivener one. Her brow quirked in interest. She was getting closer to the other toys, and thinking back on the 115 and how close she was to winning the Gage toy, she continued.

Taking up the dice again, she thought of the game centers she frequented throughout high school and uni. Crane games were her speciality, despite their being rigged to drop early. "How about now?"
