Xallen hadn't quite left yet. Hobbling took awhile after all. He saw his attacker marble vanish, so he quickly added a boss repellent marble in its place. That should do it. He continued onward.

Anji growled softly, though at that point all he could do was collapse near Eileen and watch, his one marble clutched tightly in his fingers. Whatever happened now, he needed to hold onto that one till he needed it, for whatever battle was fast approaching. Because without it he wouldn't have the strength left to protect Eileen. Watching as she strained with the barrier, he reached out to her, willing his own energy to help support her in whatever little way. It wasn't that he was afraid that he'd die if she failed. It was that he was afraid she would die...

The Red Wing on Eileen's silvery bracelet sparked, and the smooth stone that activated the power was explosively ejected into the air. Thankfully it was tethered to the bracelet by a chain. The barrier field flickered, and then winked out, just as Eileen collapsed next to Anji. The biggest problem with utilizing your emotions as a power source: she looked emotionally drained. She managed a grateful look to Anji. She had apparently felt his support. "....nee, now we can go, hai?" Her voice was soft again, almost as intangible as strands of spiderweb. With Lyendi and Ikari, the ragged four exited General Discussion, having survived the horrid flames. For now.

...it was time to visit the green column of chaos.

Anji nodded, replacing the marble in order to regain his strength before helping Eileen up, nodding to her sympathetically. "All right then. Let's go..." It wasn't looking good. Eileen was drained from the field, Anji's arm was mangled and his body ached badly still, and the other two seemed too tired to do much of anything. but, even if it wasn't much, if they could do anything at all, they would. Anji would help Eileen along as they headed towards the pillar of green, preparing himself mentally for what lay ahead....
