"No its not, because I don't get the oppourtunity to put my five talons worth into making it worse then it already is for her without breaking enchanments on the blade. However it disturbs me Shavas removed the tear from her neck. She flagrantly ignored the warning given to her by vermillion and later by myself. Her fate is tied to the hourglass now, and how much energy she uses." Tolly reached out and took ellianthe's arm to stop her and pointed across a chasm to a landing further down. On it was a large hourglass with no bottom, the sand merely dropping into the pit below.
"That is how much time we have left before this world is too contiamnated to sustain a fight on our end, through a combination of efforts on Loas's part and the inguenity of someone working for him that has fought with us before. I'm not talking about Auren Shiro either or his Wyverns for that matter, because their are motions to our magic that go beyond what he knew of it. Those two are being targeted as well, and to repeat myself to make the point rather clear; that sand runs out, we are in big trouble, and so its not a matter of have I found the chosen. Its a matter now of have We found the chosen."

Tolly let go of her hand and started walked down again; "I apologize if my manners are unbecoming your expectations, but those who swore their loyatlies to me before even being hatched to me will perish like chaff in the wind if we run out of time. I owe them more then that for the sacrifices they have alreay made in following me this far."

Tolly changed the subject all together; "If your hungry or need rest and a change of clothing all can be provided once we reach the study slash planning area. Don't expect much in quality, we scounge up what we can get, and by what is given to us from loyalists."

Auren returned to the castle, with the others. He cursed himself for letting Shavas slip away.

Dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit DAMMIT he howled through the place, and finally, with the last straw to him, heaved the Bleeding Edge into the ground, creating a rather large fissure. Breathing heavily, he looked around at the Resistance Fighters, and they stared back at him.

"Hey, I could be doing worse." He said with a shrug. Finding one of Toleranth's Soldiers, he requested that he meet with the good Lord, when he wanted to, while Auren went to find Alhana.

Auren was getting tired. That was a new one... and visibly slumoed when Alhana hugged him tightly. "Sibel, I heard the news... is that b***h truly dead?"

"Dead and more, my sweet." He pointed over to Bleeding Edge "She is locked up in that sword." She could feel Alhana's body shiver with happiness and pleasure. "Thank you, my love, she had it a long time coming."

"Damn straight she did." Auren agreed. "Where are the Wyverns... Aelethia?"

Alhana nodded. "They're getting the job done, but its slow, agonizing work."

"Now its a matter of time, if we can, to make our move..."

Auren grunted. "We may not be able to at all... Jadiera is truly her father's child. She has the potential to destroy the world... I was right, Toleranth was right... We shoulda killed the kid when she was a baby."

Ellianthe nodded, her eyes laughing despite the solemn state of the rest of her face.
"I do not think she had a choice. Imagine the disaster if Laos got a hold of such a powerful weapon." She craned her head to the side. "Nadira and Jareth have reached the boreders of my awareness."
She took in the hourglass with slight shock. She hadn't paused to consider the effect Laos's evil had on their realm.
She ran her hand across the smooth glass, it was faintly warm. "Do you know how much time this represents, or are we left to guess? Don't bother with courtesy my Lord the man who leads the forces against my sworn enemy is a friend of mine, and needn't concern himself with something as pointless as protocol."

She nodded knowingly, and met his eyes with her own. "You also need't explain yourself to me. I too bear the burden of rulership in case you've forgotten. I appreciate the offer, but these clothes suit me fine. They are easy to move around in if I need to fight and anything there is to spare should go into the movement. These men deserve every last shred of what there is to spare, for it is their lives who are directly in danger. I'm afraid I'm not like most rulers, basking in the pleasure of the position. I consider myself the ultimate servant, My live belongs to my people as their lives are sworn to me and my purpose."

Lumos, God of the moon stood at his wife's side in the far corner of the chamber. Lycra was obviously on edge, her perfectly formed face seemed to glow from within, a characteristic of all divine beings save the Queen of darkness herself. Lyrca radiated a comforting heat throughout the room, her eyes were on fire as well. Burning with hatred for the man she once swore her immortal soul to in unending love and devotion.

Lumos was his love's polar opposite, dark and handsome, her was no less striking than the beautiful goddess at his side. Lumos radiated peace, and serenity. His wife stepped foreward, leaving her husband to stand alone although he was obviously immersed in something. His eyes were glazed, and followed the path of something very far awaw.
She placed her hand on Toleranth's shoulder, "You needn't concern yourself with Shavas Yamagata. She is beaten and weak, but alive. she is now within Esperanza's palace. My husband and myself helped her to escape and have guided her to safety. Laos's daughter is very angry. She fears to return to her father and face his rage at her failure, even so, she is already on her way.

Lumos emerged from his trance and smiled, " Jadira's demonic powers have strengthened, gained more power over her mind but they still have not claimed her human heart. It is like an entirely different being inhabiting a rag doll, there is still hope to exercise that evil and save her."

"Two months, 5 days, and three hours plus or minus a few minutes. I've given tumor patients better times then that, but it can't be helped except by the defeat of those who are polluting it mainly Loas."

Tolly sighed hearing Lumos; "I should've killed that child when I had the chance." "However we need to get to things more pressing, the holder of pandora's box and where we can find this person?"

"Excuse me Lord toleranth; Auren wishes to speak with you when you have the time."

Tolly shrugged at the messenger; "I don't have the time, so if he wishes to speak to me, get him in here to join us, because i've got to figure something out."

The messenger nodded and returned to Auren's quarters and delivered Tolly's message.

Auren nodded and left, after merely sitting down on his cot, and taking a breather, for once in his newfound life. It always seemed like he was always going somewhere, doing something, never stopping.

Alhana was behind him, examining his new back, rubbing it, and generally getting to know the feel of it.

"You seem, much more indestructable, then before." She said gently.

Auren sighed softly. "It seems that way, yes it does." He said quietly.

A knock at the door, the messanger delievered his message, and left.

"It will never end, will it?" Auren said with a sigh. "No rest for any of us, not now, not for a while, maybe even forever." He said. Alhana assisted him silently with his armor, returning the brest plates, the pauldrons, the side armor, the gauntlets, everything. Auren finally fit the dark blue helmet over his head, and stood up. Drawing the Bleeding Edge, he examined the blade and realized he never cleaned Sibel's blod off of it.

"I will return later, my love."

Auren left the room and followed the directions to catch up to Toleranth.

"Well, Lord Toleranth, Sibel's dead. Jadira the verdict is we should've killed her when she was born... May I never curse VaTawny's name, but now's the time to do it." He looked up, towards the sky. "VaTawny, remember when I said I would tell you 'Toldjaso?' guess what! TOLDJASO!" looking back down with a grin, he looked at Toleranth, a hint of madness in his eye. "Eh, we met in Heaven. I told her we shoulda killed the kid, and she told me 'No! The goodness in her heart will save her!' Remind me, first chance we get, to kill her."

Ellianthe shook her head slowly, expression mournful as she sighed.
Slowly she sank to her knees, and pressed her forehead to the floor, murmuring praises to the gods standing before her. They may not be the gods of her nation, but they were gods nontheless, and it was wise to pay them the proper respect.

As she rose, she bowed her head slightly towards Auren. " As much as I know I will regret my decision; I'm afraid I must agree with the two of you. Maybe there was some potential for good in that child before, but she s causing no end of trouble. If she is trapped within her own body, if she feels any remorse for what she has been forced to do, then she probably wants, no craves for the sweet kiss of death. I know I would."

Auren bowed to the gods. That was all they were going to get from him, and they'd better like it. He didn't bow to no one, on general principle.

"Regret has no place in war, Elianthe. To regret, is to stop and think. To stop and think... is to die." Auren said coldly. "So, what do we do now?"

(your in the headquaters, prolly with our children Yuma and Hiyru, but of course you could just appear since you hadn't seen tolly in forever)

Tolly busted up laughing; "Wow such a crowd we got here, I'm not going to hurt Jadira so long as their is a chance, i'll bear the responsiblity of her rehabilitation if no one else wishes such a burden, but I was testing the waters as to opinions."

Tolly moved over to catch the tray of food being delivered and moving over to a table clearing it with his foot. and setting the tray down. Picking up the empty bottles he smashed them with a bit of magic into plates and left a stack of them. Silverware was conjured, but the only thing Tolly had to drink was a pitcher of water and a few clay glasses.
"Well its not much, but its the best I can offer guests. Now back tot he matter at hand, what exactly were the criteria for a potiental candidate Ellianthe? I must say in all the things since you bestowed the box upon me i have let it slip my mind."

Auren waited for the response. "I volunteer for looking for her" Auren chipped in. "Least I can do."

Out of no where Yami ran over and pounced Tolly, giving him a very deep and passionate kiss, obviously not caring who was there. "Tolly...you're alright. I was so worried about you...and the children? Are they okay? What's going on here? Oh I have a couple of friends you should meet...I was going to introduce you to them before we got attacked, but some things came up...." Behind Yami were Toki and Mimi. Mimi smiled at Tolly brightly. Toki in his stotic fashion flashed Tolly an unimpressed frown and went back to watching Mimi. "Mimi and Toki. Toki has been acting as a mage under me for a while now...he's good at healing and attacks. And Mimi....she's a half demon...half human.." She leaned up and whispeared in her ear "I don't know much about her, but she got along with our children...but...."

"I'm too stubbron to die yami, besides i made a promise the day we married to never leave you alone ever again, it took a few friends but we are back together again." Tolly's mood improved considerably at just the sight and touch of Yami. "Well they are quite welcome to join us, we were discussing how we are to find the holder of pandora's box, you wouldn't happen to know where she is would you?"

Tolly settled back down to business but didn't let go of yami's hand.

"No I wouldn't." Yami spoke softly, smiling happilly at him. SHe seemed so much happier now that he was there. Toki stared at Tolly though "Pandora's box? I thought that had been destroyed long before now....you wouldn't happen to have something that belonged to the owner? Like hair...or clothing....blood would be prefered, but anything will do."
