As Tramer climbed past Epotheros, he noticed Tramer was alone. As he looked down he saw Larien on the ledge, the small black insects starting to gain ground. Epotheros quickly hopped from crater to crater until he was on the ledge with Larien. He kicked a few of the creatures off and placed Larien over his sholder. He then hobbled back up his makeshift stair case to the safty of the grassy field above. His muscles ached from the build up of lactic acid around them, which caused him to stumble every few steps. As he approched the small house he saw Tramer laying unconsious on the ground. He was talking to himself, but was compleatly un aware of his surroundings.
Epothers kneeled and lifted Tramer up over his other shoulder. He then walked back to the cottage and placed Larien on the couch like object and Tramer in the chair. The old man himself was steralizing water and rags over the fire and Clover was still laying on the bed, and seemed asleep.
"Boy," the old man said, "you seem to have a very unfortunate party. We any ways I have some sterile cloth and water so you can clean the wounds of your lady friends and that new comer you just brought in with the broken leg."
Epotheros was hoping that Larien could clean up Clover's back, but right now she was unconscios and in no shape to do anything physical. "I'm not sure I will be able or allowed to do it,"he muttered.
((There, you happy now, I brought your character out of the pit.))

I looked at her suspiciously “y r u here rachel” I said to her bitterly “how did u like the welcoming party I sent for u” she said while laughing madly “complements of my master” she said as she stood up and walked over toward me “y do u continue” she said while circling me “what do u have to gain for this the man u r serving didn’t even tell u what u r going after how do u no ur on the right side he might want the artifact for fare worse resins than my master dose” she said as she stopped and looked me in the eye “who is ur master” I asked “that is not ur concern” she snapped “y in the world would u be trying to help me” I asked her she then looked at me discussed “my master dose not see any resign for u and ur party to die” she replied calmly “or is it he knows that we might be able to get this artifact before u” I said calmly looking her in the eyes “if u don’t want to end up like trena and qortez u will forget about this quest” she said angrily and then was gone the presence left my mind and I soon fell back into a deep sleep

After dressing the teams wounds as best he could, Epotheros took a quick nap and then strated a bit of training. He held his right hand out in front of him and slowly added magical energy to it wich created a gaunltlet like structure with claws on it out of flames. He added energy slowly to make it hotter and more visible until it flames started to lick the air around it. He stood there for a few minutes and just focused on maintaining it. When he saw it was stable he punched forward towards a large rock face on the side of a hill. His fist slid into it very easily leaving a hole 1 foot deep and a diameter of 2 feet wide from the position of his fist. Epotheros then pulled his hand back.
"That doesn't seem quite right. It should be far more powerful than this.... Perhaps if I..."
He then punched the rocked while releasing a massive amount of energy during the time of contact to create a crater 15 feet deep and 30 feet in diameter. He then raise his hand up and extinguished it. He then did the same with is left hand. After he saw he could do the same, he raised it above his head with the claws pointing donwars and slashed at the hillside. Four fiery lines extended from the claws as he brought it down, slicing the hill into four slices.
Content with himself, he went back to the old man's house to see how the others were doing.

As Clover slept dreams of doubt and disheartening events plagued her mind. Clover walked behind the others easing themselves across the rope bridge. Like before the bridge gave way. Instead of clinging on like before Clover let go of the rope railing willingly. She fell and fell, but there was no bottom to the fissure, no where for her to fall to. Only a never-ending abyss of darkness surrounded her body. Though nothing could be seen, Clover felt the warm tug of the wind. You can’t give up yet. Stop doubting yourself. The more doubt you place upon your being the more your failure becomes reality. Help the others find the artifact. Clover wasn’t sure whether the vioce belonged to the wind itself or her own self conscious. Either way she knew its words to be true.
The dark abyss disappeared as Clover awoke from her dream. She lied there motionless looking about to see what had changed. As she looked about noticed that her wounds had been dressed, and that the others were present. All except Epotheros. Surely he was near. He must have been the one who brought the others to safety. Clover thought this all over, but still thought that his absence was odd.

Epotheros soon emerged into the room by means of the front door. He saw Clover sitting up on the bed and said to her warmly, "Ah, your awake. Are you feeling any better?" He then went over to the pot of water, filled up his flask and took a long drink of water.
He then let out a refreshing sigh and added, "I needed that." He then sat down on the chair next to her, since Tramer and Larien seemed to be asleep and he was very eager to talk to someone.
"I finally figured it out," he said smugly.

A smiled slid across Clover’s face as she saw Epotheros enter the room. “Thank you, I feel much better,” she replied in an appreciative tone. If Epotheros hadn’t carried her up the wrecked bridge she probably would be dead. Of course she could still feel discomfort and aching throughout her body, but it wasn’t anything compared to before. She was grateful.
She watched him drink from his flask and then sit down. “You figured what out?” she asked with a confused look on her face.

"This."
He raised up is arm so his hand fas level with his face, and then in an instant it erupted into the same shape as the attack he used against the troll creature, yet this one wasn't so wild and had a more concentrated form. He then put it out.
"See, no burns," he smiled, "I have only tapped into a very small amount of its full power but I was able to slice through a small hill and aslo leave a 15 foot crater in the side of it as well. It will most likely aid us more than once on our quest."
He then leaned in closer towards Clover, "You should also try to develope your abilities with the wind. I can help you with it if you wish."

Watching Epotheros' hand erupt into flames, Clover became rather impressed. She never imagined that she would meet such powerful people. Epotheros was able to create fire from what appeared to be nothing, Tramer had various skills in magic, and Larien seemed to have many different abilities. At least this is what she had gathered from their journey so far. They all may be hiding other talents from her, but she couldn't be sure.
Did I tell him about my thing with the wind? she thought to herself, but then realized that it was obvious. How else could a girl like her be so skilled with a bow. Hesitating at first she finally replied, "Well, I never thought I could ever use the wind for anything but shooting well and moving quickly. If there's something else.." she drifted off. Clover realized that she was rambling on and concluded, "I would be grateful, if you could help." Clover then noticed Tramer waking. A smile lingered on her face. She was happy to see him well.

"Different elements have different purposes. Fire and Ligtning are mainly attack elements while water and earth are mainly defense elements. Wind on the other hand is a supoort element. It can mix with the others like increasing fires attack power or mixing with water to create a storm. But right now I don't think you are currently at that level. Since you are already used it to help with your arrows accuracy, you should now learn how to mold its power around it so it can pierce stone. I supose the best thing for you to see is a demonstration on what I am trying to teach you. Do you think you can stand and come outside with me?"
He then stood up and walked outside.

Hearing all of Epotheros' explaination on elemental abilities, Clover felt completely novice. For once she wanted to improve. Just maybe with enough practice her arrows could penetrate stone with the wind's help of course. She nodded in reply and began easing herself up from the bed. The pain from before returned to her limbs. They ached in a pulsating manner. Clover took a deep breath and placed her feet on the floor. With some effort she was standing. She knew she wouldn't be able to straighted her back just yet, so she hunched over slightly as she walked. Clover followed Epotheros out of the building.

"I see you are still in some pain, but all you need to do is be outside so you can sit down if you want."
Epotheros then pulled out his longsword and hit the blade against the trunk uf a tree. It cut into it just only about eight inches, but that was still ipresive fare any sword. He then pulled it out and walked over to a small boulder. He raised the blade above his head as it started to glow red, he swiped it down across the stone cutting clean through it leaving a few flames as a trail. Where the sord had cut through the stone it left liquid rock in the small gap.
"You can easily tell the difference in what just happened. This would have been enough to kill that troll we encountered earlier, but I wanted to show off for.." he paused "But ju can see it back fired. Well, if this was a normal sword it would have melted, but this is a medium type which was designed to use two gemes that control intense heat from fire magic and intense cold from water/ ice magic. You on the other hand should be able to place wind around your arrows with out the problem of destroying them."
He then kneeled down next to Clover.
"How strong is your current ability to push things with wind? Try it on me so I can get an idea."

Clover lowered herself onto a patch a grass and listened intently. She was eager to learn how to improve her abilities. As Epotheros explained and showed her the difference between the two techniques Clover nodded in acknowledgement. When he mentioned showing off while battling the troll Clover thought he probably was showing off for Larien. They seem to know eachother pretty well. Her attention drifted back to Epotheros' words.
The idea of concetrating wind around her arrows still excited her. She said in response to Epotheros' request, "Alright." She focused her mind and called out to the wind You heard him, right? So can you give him a demonstation, please. Imidiately the wind responded by blowing a small funnel of wind against Epotheros from Clover's now raised hand. Though the wind was concetrated in a small area, it was strong and consistant.

He felt the current of air flow against his chest at a constant rate. It wasn't super intense, but when formed around a physical object it should pack quite a punch.
"You should try an arrow now. The directions are quite simple. The arrow itself must become an extension of your own body, which you use it for a medium on which the element can collect upon. It may take a few shots to calibrate the right concentration, but ry practicing on that old, dead tree, you don't want to damage them on rocks just yet. If you can shoot it through the tree and imbed it in the face of rock behind it your training on this level is complete.
"Perhaps I won't have to worry about you as much after this," he let out a small laugh, but then his face went stern before he said, "I would not want to lose you whie we are on this quest..." He turned and got up quickly, slightly hoping she didn't hear the last part.

Bringing her hand back down and ceasing the air current, Clover listened carefully to Epotheros' instruction. Clover noticed his change in tone. She only heard pieces of what he said, but Clover took it as a leader being concerned for his group. Then she rose from the ground and headed towards the stable. "I'm going to grab my quiver and bow," she said with determination. She wanted to start practicing as soon as possible. It was still evident that she was aching with pain, but she continued. It only took a few minutes before she returned.
Once she had her bow set and her quiver strapped to her back, Clover readied herself, aiming for the old tree. She called out to the wind again, Grant me strength and guide me. She pulled the bowstring back to her jaw line and focused on concentrating wind around her arrow. Clover took a deep breath and released the string sending the arrow straight for the tree. Some type of current was visible carry the arrow with a considerable amount of force. The arrow drove into the tree, but only halfway. Clover smiled. She didn't think she would be able to penetrate a tree, even an old one that much. Even though the arrow made it that far, she still had a long ways to go, before she could shoot through the tree into the rock.
