"It's a little too late for that now, catgirl." said Crim`, flicking his knife outward at his side to knock off a bit of her blood. He looked at his reflection in his blade. "Guhh.." he moaned to himself, as he examined his dome; His hair was truly a mess. He stared at Kata for a moment. He had drawn blood and that amused him. Did he really plan on killing her today? No. Does he even know why they were fighting in the first place? Not really, it just seems to be one of those things that inevitably happens between Team 0wnage and Bizarr0 0wnage. Hell, a day ago the two of them were buddy-buddy, and had the same objective. And so he raised his left knife slightly, sheathing it inside of the sheathe on his belt, looking down at his sore left arm. He then raised his right knife in front of him and closed his eyes, smiling slightly as he lowered his arm.
"What do you say we cut this out for now, we've got other things to worry about... For one, the machine that attacked us and whoever sent it. I'm pretty sure neither one of us wants to tackle more than one of those things alone. Hell, I still haven't reviewed the disk, and I'm not even sure if I know where it is. I'll have to check back at the hotel. Anyway, what say you we settle our little quarrel after we deal with the other s**t?"
He opened his eyes and smiled a bit, looking at her and waiting on a response. Ofcourse he didn't think she would agree with him, she was known for being chaotic and sometimes irrational, a trait that much of her team shared. Still he figured it was worth a try.

"Now who has cold feet?" Kat asked. The fire on her blade had slowly died down as Crim was talking, until now it had faded out completely. So long as they were talking, it seemed pointless to keep up the slow drain on her energy.
"Scared I'll kill you?" She asked mockingly. "Or just that I'll mess up your hair worse?" She slowly paced around Crim, debating her chances. They still seemed pretty good to her, she wondered if Crim noticed something she hadn't.
"If you want to wimp out, now's your chance." She said, taking a step back with a smile.

Crim` sheathed his othr knife then shrugged, her attempts at poking at his pride seemingly bouncing right off him. "Call it what you want, catgirl. Like I said, some other time..." he continued as he grabbed a black glove from his jacket and slid it onto his right hand. He looked to Kata as he pulled a black bandana out of his jacket's pocket as well, folding it in a certain way before sliding it onto his head and tying it in back.

Kat smiled and leaned back against a bookshelf which was surprisingly still standing.
"I call it a victory from me, but whatever helps you sleep at night." She replied, content with her victory yet still cautious for another attack. She slid the katana back into the sheathe on her back and watched Crim, waiting for him to leave before gathering her missing gun.

Crim` lit a cigarette, turning and walking away while waving his hand over his head. "Aye, right." he said, smiling as smoke blew out of his nostrils.
"...and love..." he said, stopping. He turned to her with a sly grin on his face.
"I'm more concerned about my hair than my life. Learn how to use that sword... For next time." he said. With that he took his leave, exiting from the door.

Kat blushed slightly as Crim left. Learn to use the sword? That's what she'd been doing! Nothing like trial by fire to learn a new weapon.
As the door slammed behind Crim, her body started to hurt greatly. Still, she grit her teeth and went over to one of the fallen bookshelves. The whole row was a mess of loose papers, soot and dirt, but after a bit of effort she found her magnum under there, tucked under a copy of "Gambino and Ian".
She then went over to the desk they'd been at earlier, surprisingly still standing, although a little worse for the wear. She plunked down into the seat, tucked the magnum into her bra, and pulled out the map she'd grabbed earlier, laying it down on the table.
"Okay, so if the hotel is there... And the coffee shop I meant to get to was here...."
The last thing she did before she left this place would be to burn it to the ground, she thought bitterly.

Amidst the blaring sound of a revving engine that sounded as if it was on mechanical steroids, a loud and very crude scream could be heard. The often overused word started with an 'f' and ended with a 'k', and flowed from Crimson Skylickers mouth after he took a good look at his reflection in the rearview mirror of his motorcycle.
Having removed his bandana, he saw just how badly his radiant pink hair was mangled, nay! VIOLATED! Violated and fondled by the flames of Bizarro, by a bad kitty in a world filled with nice, fluffy ones! There would be hell to pay, he vowed to himself. Suddenly, a group of moderately sexy women walked by. Ah, typical college students, out clubbin` on a Saturday night. Who knew libraries were so close to bars and clubs? Aekea truly is strange. Crim` realized... he was... Having a very bad hairday! The man quickly jumped behind a bush, sliding his helmet on before any of them saw. He peeked out of it, one of them catching a glimpse.
Chain effect.
Screams.
Running.
"PERVERT!"
Crim` blinked. He quickly got on his bike and sped off before the cops arrived.
